That evening Trixie walked out the back door of a theater and into a back alley. She had just finished up doing one of her magic shows, but to dismay the crowd was very thin. It also didn’t help that the owner of the theater only paid Trixie a small percent of what she originally asked for.

“This is a disgrace!” Trixie said as she counted what little money she had made. “The great and powerful Trixie is worth far more than a handful of dollars.”

As Trixie began walking down the alley to her car, she heard a noise behind her. It sounded like a weird scratching noise. “Probably just a cat.” Trixie thought to herself.

As Trixie kept walking, the sound became louder and louder. She eventually reached into her purse and grabbed a can of mace. “Whoever is following me, stop! The great and powerful Trixie has mace!” Trixie hollered as she turned around.

There was nothing behind her but darkness. “Huh. It must have been Trixie’s imagination.” Trixie then heard a buzzing noise. She turned around and saw a pair of bright red eyes staring back at her.

Trixie tried to spray the red eyes with her mace, but they just rose up higher. A sharp proboscis then emerged and was forced straight down onto Trixie’s head, piercing her skull. Trixie’s eyes rolled into the back of her head as her brains were sucked out.

All of the girls stood outside of Twilight’s house while they waited for her to come out with the magic bomb. Rarity kept staring at Chrysalis.

“Why exactly is she still here? She’s already given us all the information we need on Exo.”

“Because we still need her help.” Sunset said. “Chrysalis is the only one who can track down Exo and tell us exactly where he is.”

“She’s right.” Chrysalis said with a smug look on her face. “I am the only one who can detect Exo’s pheromones in the air and track him down.”

Rainbow Dash was clearly upset. “Don’t get comfortable. Once we stop Exo, your butt is going right back to Equestria.”

Twilight finally emerged from her house. “Okay everyone, I’ve finished the magic bomb!” Twilight then showed it off to everyone. The magic bomb was a metallic sphere that was the size of a grapefruit. Twilight then pointed to a red button that was at the top of the bomb. “Simply push this button and the bomb will detonate in sixty seconds.”

Sunset then got a notification on her phone. She looked at it, then put her hand over her mouth.

“Sunset, what is it?” AppleJack asked.

Sunset looked up from her phone. “Another body has been found. It’s Trixie.”
