Spike's Second Chance At Life

Spike kept things the same from his previous life after he was reborn as his past self, he also kept his knowledge of the future a secret from anypony. The only one who knew his secret was Princess Celestia. She knew that Spike had a mind of a elder dragon. She accepted to be the only one to keep his secret of being from the future safe.

Right now, he was putting his present for Moondancer, that was a teddy bear, inside a present box. Because today was her get together party. Also, he'll get Twilight to go to Moondancer's party before he and Twilight goes to Ponyville. As he finished putting the teddy bear inside the box, he smiled and sighed. "I really hope Moondancer will love my gift for her as well as getting Twilight to go to Moondancer's party before we go to Ponyville."

After he was done with putting Moondancer's gift together, he then sighed. "This is gonna be a long life for me, this time around. Now to find that book Twilight forgot to return." He went searching for it until he found it under Twilight's bed. "Why was this book under here?" He then grabbed it. "Well, I've better return this book back to the library before Twilight gets back from what she's doing at the Canterlot Park."

He then left the tower he and Twilight lives right now and then went towards the Royal Canterlot Library. After he arrives at the library, he went inside and rang the bell on the front desk, after a moment, the current librarian Dusty Pages arrived. "Yes?"

She then looked down and saw who it is. "Oh, hello Spike, how are you doing?"

"I'm doing great Dusty Pages and I brought back the book that Twilight forgot to return." He then put the book on the desk.

"Oh, this book. Well I'm glad you returned it, somepony was requesting to check out this book for them to read. But now I can finally give them this book."

"You're welcome Dusty Pages."

"Well I won't keep you here Spike, say hi to Twilight for me would you?"

"I will Dusty Pages, bye!"

"Have a good day Spike."

And with that, Spike left the Royal Canterlot Library and went back towards the tower he's living in right now.

As he arrived back to the tower, he then opened the door and went inside before closing it behind him.

He then sighed. "Well, with that checked off of the things that won't be happening in the future. There's alot more for me in this new life of mine for my second chance. I really hope my friends in the far future is doing fine without me. I know that both Sunny and Izzy loved each other. I hope they're doing fine as well. But for now, what I'll be doing in this second life of mine. Well because of I keep on trying to get Rarity to love me, I was denied of that love for her, so I don't love Rarity anymore. Instead I'll ask that little sister of hers Sweetie Belle to date me and maybe even Button Mash because I keep on seeing that white filly with that brown colt who loves video games. Sweetie Belle was cute with that dress on during the party after Cadence and Shining Armor got married, we even danced together. Then there is those teenage dragons of Garble and his dragon pals. I can't believe he was cute during my first time in the dragon lands. There was those dragon pals of his, Fizzle, that white teenage dragon. He was cute in a way. Then there was Spear, that violet teenage dragon with yellow hair covering his eyes, he was very cute lookin. And then there was Clump, that brown teenage dragon with a spike ball as a tail, that dragon could burp really good. And then there was Smolder, Garble's little sister, she told me about the molt I was going through. That orange dragoness, she couldn't hide the fact that she loves girly things like tea parties and dressing up pretty. Then there was Ember, the dragon lord before me, that dragoness was cute when she was acting all tough like. I can't believe I love Thorax as well, that changeling drone before becoming king for his hive in the Badlands. I really helped him to be nice to the ponies as well as the changeling that can change. That song I sang for him in the Crystal Empire, helped him alot. Can't wait to ask him out on a date as well. Then there is Discord, that big oaf, he helped us alot after he was reformed by Fluttershy and gave Twilight her key to unlock the Friendship Castle and yeah that castle was an eyesore for alot of ponies in Ponyville but got used to it. I'll be the one to reform him this time around. I'll also introduce him to the game of O&O that me and Big Macintosh plays together. Then there is Sunset Shimmer, the sister to Sunburst, the orange unicorn turned orange human. I really hope this time around I'll become a human like Twilight and not a dog when me and her go through the mirror portal to the human realm." His eyes widen at this many. "That's alot of creatures that I love. Maybe this won't be bad for me. I do want a harem."

He then looked at the clock. "When will Twilight be back?" He then looked at the present with the teddy bear inside. "Like I said earlier, I really do hope Moondancer likes my gift to her." He then grabbed the present in his hands and went towards the door, but then he remembers his previous life. He stopped walking towards the door.

Suddenly the door to the tower opened with Twilight yelling. "Spike!"

Spike put Moondancer's present down next to him. "Yes Twilight?"

"Can you find me that old copy of Predictions and Prophecies." She then looked at the box next to him. "What's that?"

"Well this is a present for Moondancer for her get together party today."

"We don't have for that sort of thing." She said.

"But Twilight, we're on a break."

"Just find me that book now."

"Okay Twilight." Spike said before going up that ladder to the top. He knows where the book was and grabbed it in his hand. "Got it!" He was then throw on to the ground with a thud. "That hurt."

"Sorry Spike." She said before opening up the book with her magic looking for that entry. "E, e, e. Ah-ha! Elements of Harmony, see Mare in the Moon?"

Spike knows where this was going. "Mare in the Moon, was that an old ponies tale?"

"Mare, mare, there. Mare in the Moon..." Twilight said with Spike was just listening.

He knows what Twilight said during this.

"...you know what this means Spike?"

"Yes."

"The Princess must know this... wait you do?"

He nodded. "Yeah, I do, but I'm not gonna tell you. Just tell Princess Celestia about your findings."

She scowled. "Fine!"

He knows a angry Twilight and then that one time where Twilight exploded in anger about not figuring out about Pinkie's Sense before giving up.

"Just write the letter Spike."

He knows what she'll say, so in quick fashion, he wrote what Twilight was gonna say. "There, all written up." He then blows the rolled up letter with his dragon fire to send it to Princess Celestia. "The letter has been sent to her."

Twilight's eyes widen. "That was way too fast for a letter to be written."

Spike just rolled his eyes at Twilight but then he burped out a letter. "She just replied back Twilight." He then opened up the letter and read it. "Ahem, my most faithful student Twilight, while I admired your diligence and understood you completely. But you have to stop reading those dusty old books."

Twilight just gasped in surprised. "What?!"

Spike continued. "But I have a important task for you to complete in this year's summer sun celebration location, Ponyville. And I have a more important task for you to complete as well. Make some friends."

Twilight just groaned. "Why did she wrote that?!"

Spike just ignored her and just continued. "Also with this letter is a list of tasks for you to complete to prepare for this year's summer sun celebration. Signed Princess Celestia." Spike looked at her. "That's all she wrote Twilight. But before we go there, can you at least attend Moondancer's party? Do it for me, please?" He pleaded with puppy dog eyes.

Twilight looked at him and just sighed in defeat. "Fine."

"Good. Now let's go." He said grabbing Moondancer's present in his hands.

Twilight just looked around her in the tower before she and Spike left for Moondancer's get together party at the Canterlot Courtyard.

Later, both Spike and Twilight arrived at her friend's get together party. She didn't even get Moondancer anything for this party because she was too busy with reading books, but Spike was the only one who got Moondancer a present. Her Canterlot friends were at this party.

They saw who arrived and smiled. Lyra spoke up. "I can't believed you made it Twilight, even though you were reading that book at the park earlier. Also Spike, is that a present for Moondancer?"

Spike nodded. "Eeyup. Hope she likes it."

"I do too Spike for my present for her."

More ponies were showing up and one pony caught the attention of both Twilight and Spike.

"Twily!" A voice spoke.

Both Twilight and Spike's eyes widen as that was the voice of Shining Armor. What was he doing at Moondancer's get together party?

"BBBFF? What are you doing here? I thought you were still in training?"

Shining Armor just smiled. "Can I least see my LSBFF before her departure?" He also saw Spike as well. "Spike, how are you doing little bro?"

Spike just rolled his eyes. "Hi big bro, just want to have fun here at Moondancer's party, also how's your marefriend doing these days?"

"Cadence? Well, being the alicorn of love as usual and fun in bed."

"Well, even though I live with Twilight in that tower of ours, could you at least casted a soundproofing spell on those walls because I heard what you and her were doing in bed during those nights."

Shining's eyes widen and blushed red. "Y-you heard that?"

Spike nodded. "These dragon ears can hear stuff from 3 miles away." He then put his hand on one of Shining's shoulders. "Well, I say good luck. Also if Cadence starts acting weird that her magic aura is green, contact me immediately and I'll take care of it. You know that Cadence's magic aura is blue, the same color as her eyes. Remember that, alright big bro?"

Shining just nodded. "Alright little bro, I will remember that. Alright, I'll take my leave. Bye LSBFF and little bro."

With that Shining Armor left Moondancer's party.

Twilight was blushing red as well. "Y-you heard what our brother and my foalsitter was doing Spike?"

"Of course I do, these dragon ears don't lie with the hearing range of 3 miles. Now let's have fun at this party!"

Twilight just sighed. "Alright."

With that, Spike and Twilight enjoyed what Moondancer's get together party was.

Awhile later, Spike had the most fun in his life, well the most fun in this second life he was given up to this point anyway. While Twilight was having a little fun at this party, but not a whole lot of fun at all. She just wants to get what the princess told her to do out of the way for this year's summer sun celebration.

"Well, thank you for this get together party girls." Moondancer said. "And thank you for attending it Twilight. I thought you would never make it to any of my parties at all, well have fun anyway at this year's summer sun celebration. You might see me in Ponyville someday."

Spike is happy that Moondancer's party happened before he and Twilight left for Ponyville and not a couple of years later. That's another thing checked off that's isn't happening in the future from my previous life.

"Well, bye Moondancer. Bye girls." Spike said waving a claw at them. "Come on Twilight, let's get going to Ponyville."

Twilight just sighed. "Alright Spike."

And with that, both Spike and Twilight left Moondancer's party to go get a chariot to ride in to Ponyville.

When they arrived at the location for leaving to Ponyville, a chariot with two pegasus guards were waiting for them.

"Hop in you two." One of the pegasus guards said. "Captain Shining Armor requested us to pull you two to Ponyville."

"Thanks Lt. Bulwark." Spike said before he and Twilight got in the chariot.

Lt. Bulwark just smiled. "You're welcome Spike, now hold on tight." Both he and Lt. Halberd began to start flying the chariot out of Canterlot.

With that, both Spike and Twilight was on their way to Ponyville. Spike just remembered something and got out a scroll and quill and wrote something before rolling it and sending it to who he wrote it to.

Twilight noticed this. "Who did you write to Spike?"

"Our brother. Telling him something which hopefully he'll never forget. And I'm not telling you what I wrote in that message."

A few seconds later and he burped out a letter. He opened it up and read it in his head. Dear Spike, thank you in advance about this. If there is a wedding for me and Cadence coming up, I'll send a message to Twily telling her about the wedding. Love Shining Armor, your big bro.

Spike just burned the letter to nothing with his dragon fire. "I'm not telling you what our big bro said in the letter. That's why I burned it. Now let me get the overseer's checklist for this year's summer sun celebration."

Spike then brought out the summer sun celebration overseer's checklist. "Once we landed in Ponyville, the first item on the list is checking on food at Sweet Apple Acres. Well at least we'll be staying in a library in Ponyville, does that make you happy?"

"I do and you know what..." Spike just zoned out of Twilight speaking before he heard her again. "...about Nightmare Moon's return."

"And what about what the princess said about making friends?"

"Let's just get this checklist done Spike."

Spike just sighed. He wished he had wings now. But that won't happen for a good couple of years. "Fine Twilight."

Once they landed in Ponyville, both Spike and Twilight got off of the chariot. "Thank you sirs."

Both the lieutenants just snorted proudly before leaving.

A pink mare with cotton candy mane and tail happily approached them. "Come on Twilight, just try to make friends."

"Uhh, well, hello?"

The pink mare gasped in surprised in the air before heading off quickly.

"Well, that seem interesting alright."

Spike just sighed and left with Twilight.

Things stayed the same from his previous life except for when meeting Rarity. He showed no love for the white unicorn mare. And now both Spike and Twilight were in the darken library before a familiar voice was heard. "SURPRISE!" And then the pink mare kept on talking.

And Twilight unknowingly put hot sauce in her drinking cup before drinking it which made Twilight's face turned red and went upstairs.

While Spike looked at the hot sauce bottle in his hand. "Hot sauce?" And then saw Pinkie dumped hot sauce on that cupcake and ate it.

"What, it's good." She said.

Spike tried it as well and loved it. He is a dragon after all, he can handle alot of heat. He was about to start speaking before Pinkie put a hoof to his mouth. "Not here Spike."

Spike's eyes widen as Pinkie already knew Spike's secret as well. He just nodded and then Pinkie took her hoof off of Spike's mouth.
