Mi Amore Cadenza is the child of an ancient lineage of crystal ponies, and potentially the last of her kind. Her mother would see her be a stallion, sire to a new generation. Her deceased father encouraged her to explore herself as being free from the norms of gender, but besides her pronouns and clothes she doesn't know what to do with her future.

Then Shining Armor, prince of the nerds, started being nice to her.
