Applejack smiled, after all these months, the confusing feelings, the guilt, the anger, the sadness, the resentment, everything seemed to have been resolved by that sentence.

Applejack blushed "Rainbow..."

Rainbow Dash and Applejack came out of their trance when they heard the familiar voice on the other side of the door.

"Apple Bloom is spying on us?!" shouted Applejack, embarrassed, irritated and frustrated with her face red.

Applejack groaned and heard Apple Bloom's footsteps running away, and then heard the sound of a door slamming, probably Apple Bloom hiding in her own room until her older sister calmed down.

"That little one..." Applejack realized she was too close to Rainbow Dash and moved away "Sorry, I don't know what happened" Applejack apologized embarrassed.

"Okay" Rainbow said calming down.

The two were silent for a few seconds not knowing what to say.

"Do you... want to play video games?" Applejack asked.

Rainbow gave a slight smile "You're going to lose like you used to"

"Stupid game..." Rainbow muttered frustratedly, and squeezing the controller so hard it felt like it was going to break.

"Haha, that's 45 wins in a row for me and 0 wins for you" Applejack said smiling.

"I'm still not in my serious mode, let's do it again..." Rainbow said extremely irritated.

"Well, we can continue doing this another time" Applejack took out her cell phone to check the time "We spent more than 3 hours playing video games"

Rainbow was surprised and looked at Applejack "Really?"

"Yes, it seems we got very distracted... like it always was when we played" Applejack smiled as she remembered the past.

"Okay... so what are we going to do now?" Rainbow asked

"Are you hungry?" Applejack asked.

The two went to the kitchen, and saw Granny Smith and Big Mac preparing dinner.

Granny Smith noticed the two "Oh, they're finally done" Granny Smith said.

Applejack blushed "We were just playing video games!" Applejack exclaimed to defend herself.

"I know, you guys finally finished playing video games," Grandma Smith said, smiling innocently.

Applejack could hear the tone in which her grandmother said this and noticed Big Mac holding back a laugh. If Apple Bloom said anything about what she saw in the room...

Applejack sighed and decided to make a sandwich for Rainbow Dash, but when she picked up the bread, Grandma Smith said.

"Applejack, dinner won't be long," Grandma Smith warned.

"It's for Rainbow Dash," Applejack clarified.

"She can have dinner with us," Grandma Smith said.

"No need," Rainbow Dash said.

"Oh, don't be like that, girl. It's not the first time you've eaten here," Grandma Smith said.

"Yeah, every time you had lunch or dinner here, you ate more than the three of us."

Rainbow and Applejack looked back and saw Apple Bloom fiddling with her cell phone.

Applejack noticed the cell phone in Apple Bloom's hand, "What are you doing?" she asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Oh, nothing, I'm just talking to the Crusaders," Apple Bloom replied.

"About what?" Applejack asked suspiciously.

Apple Bloom got nervous, "Oh, just about you two being friends again... bye," Apple Bloom said before running back to her room.

Applejack already knew that Apple Bloom had talked about her conversation with Rainbow in her room, she just hoped that Apple Bloom hadn't misunderstood things... but what was Applejack about to do at that moment? Was she about to kiss Rainbow Dash? She acted without thinking, she followed her instincts, their lips were almost touching-

"Applejack!"

Applejack was startled by the scream, looked back and saw Rainbow Dash.

"It's ready" said Rainbow.

"Oh... right, let's eat" said Applejack embarrassed.

Grandma Smith was a great cook, it wasn't the first time Rainbow Dash ate her food, she often slept at Applejack's house, sometimes with the other girls, but most of the time it was just the two of them, usually to play video games, compete, talk, make jokes, and other things, Rainbow remembers a time when Apple Bloom said they should prepare a room for Rainbow because she practically lived there already.

"Is the food good?" Grandma Smith asked Rainbow, breaking her out of her trance.

Applejack noticed Apple Bloom's smile, and realized that she was probably planning something, and became suspicious.

"No, I'll be home in a little while" Rainbow replied.

Apple Bloom stopped smiling, relieving Applejack a little, but Big Mac decided to ask.

"I didn't see your motorcycle outside, how did you get here?" Big Mac asked.

"I came running" Rainbow replied.

The Apple family was silent for a few seconds.

"Did you walk from your house to here?" Applejack asked to be sure.

"Yes" Rainbow replied.

"But isn't it a little far? It's 8 km from your house to here, why did you walk and not by motorcycle?" Apple Bloom asked confused.

"My motorcycle ended up breaking down" Rainbow replied.

"Well, why don't you sleep here?" Apple Bloom asked smiling again.

Applejack almost choked when she heard that, she realized what Apple Bloom was planning.

"Is that okay?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"No, you're welcome here, you can sleep in Applejack's room like they did before" Granny Smith said smiling.

Applejack blushed, sleeping in the same room as Rainbow Dash now would be... weird.

"W-well... I could take her home!" Applejack suggested, wanting to avoid sleeping with Rainbow Dash.

"I don't think it's a good idea to drive in this rain," said Granny Smith.

"Rain?" Applejack was confused, until she heard the sound of heavy rain.

Applejack sighed, of course, the world seemed to be against her.

"Okay..." said Applejack.

After some time, Rainbow went to take a shower to go to sleep, meanwhile, Applejack prepared the room, put an extra mattress on the floor, got a pillow, and a blanket, after arranging everything she lay down on her bed to think while waiting for Rainbow Dash.

(What should I do? It's weird to talk to her, what do I talk about? Ask how the last few months were? Ask about a movie? ... calm down Applejack, you sound like Twilight) Applejack thought and began to calm down.

"Hey, AJ" Rainbow Dash caught her friend's attention.

"Oh, what's up Rain-?" Applejack asked, looking back and blushing.

Rainbow Dash was wearing a white shirt with an apple print and short black shorts.

"Are you sure it's okay for me to sleep in your room? I can wait for the rain to stop and come home," Rainbow Dash said.

The rain got stronger and started to thunder.

"Well, I don't think it's going to stop raining anytime soon, and when it stops raining it'll be too late for you to go, especially alone and walking. In the last few months there have been a lot of cases of violence, kidnapping and assault in the city, and knowing you, you'd definitely end up doing something stupid," Applejack said, remembering how Rainbow Dash used to be reckless and easily angered. "And I don't see a problem, I mean... we're friends, right? We've done this MANY times."

Before she could lie down, Applejack grabbed her by the shoulders.

Realizing that Applejack wouldn't give in, Rainbow agreed to sleep on the bed, while Applejack slept on the mattress. After a few minutes of lying down, Applejack decided to ask.

"How have the last few months been?" Applejack asked.

"Honestly, they've been pretty boring. After we stopped being friends and I stopped playing soccer, there wasn't much to do. I spent most of my time training, fighting, shopping at the supermarket, reading manga, watching videos on the internet, watching TV and... well, nothing else," Rainbow Dash said as she remembered the last few months.

"...fighting? Did you start taking martial arts classes?" Applejack asked.

"For a moment, yes... but after that... it didn't matter... I didn't care if I died or lived, I just kept living, waiting for the moment to die, fighting in the street was the only thing that made me feel alive," Rainbow Dash explained.

Rainbow Dash looked back and saw Applejack, who had also changed her clothes, now she was wearing a white shirt with an apple print, a green jacket, jeans, brown boots and obviously her hat, she was holding a key.

"I'll take you home" Applejack said grinding the key.

"It's stopped raining now, I can go on foot" Rainbow said opening the door and leaving

"But you would have to walk 8 km, I'm the one who called you here, so I'll take you home" Applejack said following Rainbow Dash.

"But you don't have to, I run more than that every day" said Rainbow Dash.

"I'm not asking Rainbow, I'll take you home and that's it" said Applejack firmly with her arms crossed.

A few minutes later Rainbow Dash Applejack and Apple Bloom were in the truck, it was Saturday and Apple Bloom wanted to spend the weekend at Sweetie Belle's house.

"Well, we're here" said Applejack stopping the truck.

Apple Bloom took off her seatbelt and grabbed her backpack, then Applejack and Apple Bloom got out of the truck, Rainbow Dash saw Applejack knock on the door, and a few seconds later the door opened revealing Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo who greeted Apple Bloom, and Rarity appeared and greeted Applejack, but then Rarity was surprised when she realized that Rainbow Dash was in the truck, the Crusaders noticed Rarity's surprise, and then looked at the truck, and noticed Rainbow Dash, Scootaloo smiled, Rarity seemed to recover and said something to Applejack, after a few seconds Applejack went to the truck.

"Rainbow, come with me" said Applejack.

"I should have walked home" said Rainbow.

Then they all entered Rarity's house, Applejack and Rainbow Dash sat on the couch in the living room while the Crusaders went to Sweetie Belle's room and Rarity went to the kitchen.

"Did you change the decor?" Rainbow asked, looking around.

"It's Rarity's house, they always change the decor," Applejack said, smiling.

"But why are we here? I thought you were just going to leave Apple Bloom here and take me home," Rainbow Dash asked.

"I was going to, but Rarity saw you, she asked me why you were with me, and I said we would explain it to her," Applejack explained.

"And why did she go to the kitchen?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"She said she would make us something to eat while we talked," Applejack explained.

After a few minutes, Rarity finally came back with 12 sandwiches, 4 cups of tea, and two 600 ml bottles of soda.

"Sorry for the delay, darlings," Rarity apologized, putting everything on the table.

Rainbow Dash and Applejack looked at the amount of food and drinks.

"Did you overdo it? Why all this?" Rainbow asked confused.

Rarity laughed "hohoho, of course this won't be just for the three of us."

The three heard the doorbell.

"Are they here yet? That was quick," Rarity said before going to the door.

It took Rainbow Dash a few seconds to realize what Rarity was doing.

(She didn't...) Before Rainbow Dash could complete her thought, Rarity opened the door and three girls came in.

It was Twilight, Pinkie Pie, and Fluttershy. They looked a little tired as if they had run all the way there, and the three noticed Rainbow Dash.

"DASHIE!" Pinkie Pie shouted, running to Rainbow Dash and hugging her tightly.

Fluttershy and Twilight approached and joined the hug.

"I knew you two would work it out," Fluttershy said as she smiled.

"I was worried, you two never took this long to reconcile" said Twilight.

"Rarity? Did you call them?" asked Applejack.

"Well darling, since you were already here I thought it would be a good time for a little reunion" said Rarity with a smile.

After a few seconds Fluttershy and Twilight stop hugging Rainbow Dash, and after another 5 uncomfortable minutes they manage to make Pinkie Pie stop hugging her.

"You know Rainbow, I was mad at you for a while, you saying those things, siding with Gilda... but it really wasn't the same without you" Rarity admitted.

Fluttershy put her hand on Rainbow Dash's shoulder "I was hurt for a while and spent days crying in my room, but I missed you"

"I didn't have my playmate" said Pinkie Pie.

"I had no one to ask me for help with a subject and then complain and say that studying is for eggheads" said Twilight smiling.

"and I only had Applejack to judge my fashion decisions" said Rarity.

"I had no one to beat at video games and then get into an argument with" said Applejack smiling.

"and I had no one to help me take care of the animals, or walk me to school or calm me down when I'm nervous" said Fluttershy.

"good to have you back" said Rarity.

Then everyone hugged Rainbow Dash.

"guys, I'm happy too, but I still don't like hugs very much, especially long hugs" said Rainbow Dash uncomfortable.

"sorry" the others said and walked away.

"ok... what now?" asked Rainbow after a few seconds of silence.

"Oh! I know, how about a sleepover at my house?" Pinkie Pie suggested.

Rainbow Dash ate a bite of a sandwich. "I already spent the night at Applejack's, I don't feel like a sleepover right now," Rainbow Dash said.

Rarity smiled, "I have an idea, how about tomorrow the six of us go to the mall?"

"Rarity, I'm not trying on clothes," Rainbow Dash said.

"It won't be just that, we'll also talk, eat, and maybe watch a movie," Rarity said.

"I like the idea, what about you guys?" Fluttershy asked.

The others nodded.

"That's fine," Rainbow Dash said.

Rarity smiled, "Then it's settled, we'll meet at the food court at 2:30 pm."
