Filly Guides Badge Hunting
Chapter 4 - Decisions
Previous ChapterNext ChapterThe information shocked Tag-a-Long to her core.
“My own father got me pregnant…”
Guidance Counselor was now less panicked and more in a damage control mode. “It’ll be okay. I’m going to tell Big Mac that he is your father without telling him that you told me who the father of your foal is. He clearly can’t marry you now but maybe he’ll pay the foal support… for both you and your foal.”
She replied bitterly. “Best they can probably do is products from their farm. Better than nothing, I guess. I can’t believe he talked me into this!”
With a wince, Guidance asked a question. “Let me guess… he used the whole ‘ponies are animals too’ line to get you lift your tail?”
With a shocked gasp, she turned to her mother. “Yeah… he did.”
With a grim chuckle, Guidance sighed. “He used the same line on me 13 years ago. I earned my animal husbandry badge by having you the same you just earned it with the foal you’re about to have in 7 more months. We’ve come full circle… and with the same stallion.”
With a snort, and trying to find something humorous about the situation, Tag nudged her mother.
“At least he’s consistent. We can’t blame him or me for not knowing that he was my dad, but he did say that he’s lonely on the farm and he doesn’t want to be tempted to have sex with his sisters. He’s going to go off the deep end when he discovers that he got his own daughter pregnant. We did this on purpose… he knew he was getting me pregnant, but he didn’t know the family connection.”
Guidance nodded, deep in thought. “I don’t want him to hurt himself… got any ideas?”
Tag held her stomach. “I need to pee… maybe I’ll have an idea when I get back.”
Watching her daughter walk away, she called out. “How did I miss you getting morning sickness!”
Tag answered from the bathroom. “You leave for work so early that you were never home to see it! I’m glad it stopped before school started again… it would have been harder to hide.”
Another wince of painful failure racked Guidance’s body. She really did need to make this right. Grabbing another bottle of hard cider wasn’t smart while she needed to think but this problem was more than a one bottle issue. Downing the second bottle and throwing it away, she grabbed a third bottle and sipped on it in a normal fashion.
The flush of the toilet was followed by Tag reappearing, but she seemed upset. “Mom… can you help me…”
Guidance put down the bottle. “Of course, what do you need help with?”
With a wince of shame, she looked at the floor. “I’m too fat to wipe myself. Stupid pregnant belly…”
Guidance remembered that all too well and was happy to help. Cleaning up her daughter was a welcome change of pace in the flow of the conversation, but it also gave her a good look at Tag’s well-used pussy.
“How many times did you and Mac do it?”
Tag sighed with relief, happy to be clean. “7 times. Once a day for a week. We wanted to make sure that it took.”
Guidance hummed in thought. “He only did me once, but it was more than enough. I’ve never had a lover as good as Mac since he got me pregnant. He had a huge cock even as a colt and giving birth at your age will stretch you out to levels that sex will probably never be as satisfying. There’s a reason that ponies say, ‘Get it while you’re young.’ I kinda wish we did it more than once, but he was even shier back then than he is now.”
That statement seemed to jar something in her and Tag looked up at her mother.
“Why don’t we both go to Sweet Apple Acres tomorrow and explain the situation. I have an idea that might fix this for both of us.”
With no ideas coming to her, Guidance Counselor conceded that she probably had no choice but to go along with it. From the look in her daughter’s eyes, she knew that she wasn’t going to get the idea out of her before she presented, what would be no doubt a shocking plan, to both her and Mac.
“Tomorrow is going to be an interesting day…”

Big Mac enjoyed his work on the farm, but he missed the time he had shared with Tag-a-Long. Heat was long over, and he wasn’t at risk of losing control near his sisters, but he missed the connection he had forged with Tag.
He had made love to her mother 13 years ago when they were still just teenagers themselves and he hated that his shyness prevented a deeper bond from forming back then. Maybe Tag-a-Long was going to be a second chance for him to find happiness.
Deep down, he knew that Tag kept her distance because if they started spending more time together, their secret would get out. Tag didn’t really resemble her mother and yet she looked so familiar to him… but he couldn’t place why she looked so familiar.
Sunset was his favorite time of day… in part because it meant the day’s work was done and in part because that’s when Tag used to come to the farm for her daily dose of foal batter. Of course, with her knocked up, she didn’t need that anymore.
Looking down the path that comes up from the main road, Mac’s heart began to sink as he saw the familiar form of Tag-a-Long walking beside her mother. They were heading right for him.
He wanted to play coy but there was no point. “Evenin’ Guidance. Tag-a-Long. Can ah help ya with something? Maybe some hard cider?”
Guidance nodded. “Hard cider for me, regular apple juice for my darling pregnant filly. You might want some hard cider yourself… I have a feeling that you’re going to need it.”
Mac turned back to go into the barn, and they followed him in. He was able to retrieve cold cider from an ale cellar that kept everything naturally colder and hoofed off both some hard cider and apple juice to the waiting mare and filly. Grabbing himself a hard cider and taking a sip, he started.
“Ah get the feelin’ that this ain’t no friendly chat. I’m guessin that ya know who the father of Tag’s foal is, eh?”
Guidance sighed. “That’s half of what we have to talk about. Mac… do you remember when we had sex 13 years ago when I was doing my animal husbandry badge?”
He nodded. “Sure, ah do. It was one of the best moments of my early life. Ah regret being too shy ta have made ya my special somepony but ah also blame my parents’ fer it. They didn’t want me involved with a pregnant filly. Ah’m sorry fer not even askin about who the father was. Ah should have been brave enough ta ask ya out or marry ya, but even after ma folks passed, ah didn’t come back ta make us a couple. If regrets were apples… I’d never have ta plant another tree.”
Guidance winced. She had never questioned why things didn’t go further but that made sense, after a fashion.
“Well. That’s in the past. But it’s also coming back to haunt us. Mac… Tag-a-Long is your daughter. I got pregnant after our one rut all those years ago. I wish I told you…”
Mac dropped his cider into the hay, his jaw hung open in disbelief.
“Ah should have seen it sooner… Tag has my father’s yellow coat and my mother’s orange mane… and the natural strong work ethic of the Apple family. Oh, horse apples. Ah got my own daughter pregnant…”
Mac wasn’t immune to tears as his world was crashing down around him and he found himself surprised to be held by Guidance. Her comfort seemed very out of place given that she should have been furious.
He looked into her eyes, tears streaking down his face. “What am ah supposed ta do? How do ah fix this?”
Guidance pointed at her daughter. “I believe that Tag-a-Long has an idea. She hasn’t told me what that idea is… but I trust that you’d be willing to listen to an idea from your daughter?”
Mac looked at Tag and she cleared her throat. “Well dad… you told me that you’d marry me when I turned 18 or would pay me foal support if you couldn’t marry me… well, now that we know what we do now, we can both concede that you can’t marry me… but you can still do the right thing.”
Big Mac nodded and hedged the next question. “An’ what is this ‘right thing’?”
She pushed her mother closer to his side. “You should marry my mom. I’m your daughter already and you clearly liked her… maybe even loved her when you were foals… maybe it’s time for us to be a family.”
Guidance seemed as stunned as Mac was.
Guidance looked at him. “Do you think it would work? I mean… I don’t object but it’s been so long…”
Mac nodded. “Ah don’t see why not. Ya could quit that job ya hate and learn how ta work on the farm while still being the Scoutmaster for the Ponyville Filly Guides. Tag can learn the farm chores and work the farm after she gives birth and ah’d reckon that having two extra sets of hooves on the farm would make it more profitable. Ya’d both be taken care of an’ ah wouldn’t have to pay foal support for two foals… everypony wins.”
Guidance agreed in principle but hedged. “What about Tag’s pregnancy? Ponies are going to want to know who the father is eventually.”
Mac shrugged. “Ya kept the secret of me being Tag’s father from everypony for 13 years. Ah don’t see why we can’t do the same with Tag. Nopony needs ta know who the father is with me taking care of both my daughter and my grandfoal. Granny will probably be thrilled ta have a great-grandfoal and a great-great-grandfoal before she passes. Applejack and Apple Bloom will probably be happy ta be Aunts… although Bloom does know that ah got Tag pregnant. That could be a problem down the road.”
Guidance was less than concerned and blushed. “So, when do we do this?”
Mac kissed her gently on the lips. “Autumn is a good time fer a weddin’ and ah know just the spot. Give me a couple of weeks ta set this up and ah promise ya the wedding of yer dreams.”
Guidance kissed him back while Tag nuzzled him. “Good enough, Mac. I’ve waited 13 years. I can wait another few weeks.”
Mac sighed in contentment. “Eeyup.”
