Poison joke can give a pony a funny physical affliction when they touch it, but it also turns out that it can affect a pony's senses when they swallow it. For this reason, the plant has a harsh ban on it in most pony societies. Unfortunately, after a mixup, Sunny mistakes the plant for a smoothie ingredient, drinks the resulting mix and sells the rest to the townsfolk.
