How to Mount a Dragon

Scootaloo smiled widely while looking at her mirror's reflection. She was wearing a long white wedding gown with a matching veil on her head. Scootaloo was busy admiring herself as she was wearing the wedding dress of her dreams. She had Rarity to thank for making the dress. Sweetie Belle appeared next to Scootaloo. Sweetie was wearing a long pink and white dress.

"Are you excited?" Sweetie Belle asked while smiling.

"Sweetie Belle, for the millionth time, yes, I'm excited." Scootaloo said while feeling a bit irritated.

"Sorry, I'm just checking to make sure. I'm so happy to see you get married, Scootaloo!"Sweetie Belle squealed.

"Same here," Apple Bloom said while appearing on the other side of Scootaloo. Apple Bloom was also wearing a pink and white dress just like Sweetie Belle.

"Spike will be a lucky dragon to have a wife like ya." Apple Bloom said.

"Yeah, he will be." Scootaloo replied as she started to recall the past events that happen to her.

After Scootaloo finally graduated from school, she got to travel all over Equestria and do the things she wanted to do. She was able to visit Terramar, her parents, and Rainbow Dash when Scootaloo came to all of the Wonderbolt shows. Scootaloo even made new friends outside of Equestria during her travels. As Scootaloo promised, she wrote to Spike visited him in Canterlot or Ponyville. It took about a whole year before Scootaloo was completely done with her travels and took up Starlight's offer on becoming another teacher at the School of Friendship. The school's students already loved Scootaloo as she was a great teacher to them. There were even a few times when Scootaloo won Teacher of the Month. Some of Scootaloo's new friends even came to the school to visit or become students themselves.

Scootaloo and Spike's relationship wasn't hindered despite their different schedules. They still make time to see one another. Scootaloo felt grateful to have such a loving boyfriend like Spike as he was always a gentle dragon to her and was very patient with her. Just when things couldn't get any better, Spike kneeled down and proposed to Scootaloo. She immediately said yes and embraced him. Now Scootaloo and Spike were getting married at Ponyville Town Hall. The door opened to reveal Rainbow Dash standing before them. She was wore a pink and white dress as well.

"Twilight just told me that the lucky groom is all set now. We should definitely get the wedding started." Rainbow stopped as she took a good look at Scootaloo. Rainbow couldn't help but shed a tear while looking at her little buddy. "Oh Scoots, you look so beautiful." Rainbow said as she went up to hug Scootaloo.

"Thanks, Rainbow. Of all of the friends I have, I'm glad you are my best mare." Scootaloo said as she returned the hug.

"That means a lot, Scoots." Rainbow said before she broke off the hug. "Now come on, Spike's waiting for you." Scootaloo nodded as she and the other bride's maids hurried to get ready.

The main hall was filled to the brim with wedding decorations. Sitting on one side of the room were Scootaloo's friends and family. On the other side were Spike's friends and family. Some of the guests had difficulties picking which side to sit at as some guests were close to both Spike and Scootaloo. Spike was standing at one side of the altar with Thorax standing besides him due to Thorax being Spike's Best Changeling. Big Mac, Shining Armor, Terramar, Sandbar, Gallus, Tender Tap, Button Mash, Pipsqueak, and Discord were standing next to Thorax as they were Spike's groomsmen. Princess Twilight stood at the center as she will be giving the vows. Everyone waited patiently for Scootaloo to come.

"Are you nervous, Spike?" Twilight whispered.

"Just a little." Spike replied.

"That's saying something." Thorax added. "I can practically hear his heart beat from here." Thorax chuckled along with some of the groomsmen.

"Gee, thanks for the vote of confidence, guys." Spike said sarcastically.

"It's okay, Spike." Twilight assured. "It's normal for the groom to be nervous. I bet Scootaloo is equally nervous."

"I hope not." Spike said. "I want her to be completely happy for this day."

"I think the best thing to do is to be happy as well, Spike. Scootaloo is probably hoping for the same thing." Twilight said.

"Good point, Twilight." Spike said. The doors slowly opened and it caught everyone's attention. The wedding music began playing and everyone watched as the flower fillies made their way down the aisle. Flurry Heart and Pumpkin Cake used their magic to toss up the flower petals while walking. Scootaloo made her way down the aisle as well. She was walking with one arm wrapped around her father's hoof as he walked with her. Walking behind Scootaloo was Rainbow Dash followed by Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, Babs Seed, Gabby, Silverstream, Yona, Smolder, Ocellus, and Ember as they were Scootaloo's bridesmaids. The guests were in awe from how beautiful Scootaloo looked. Spike smiled tenderly as he was going to marry the love of his life. Once Scootaloo made it to the alter, Snap Shutter gave Scootaloo to Spike and made his way to sit next to Mane Allgood. She was already crying while using a tissue to wipe off her tears.

"Dearly Beloveds, we are gathered here today join these two in matrimony." Twilight said to the crowd. "Spike and Scootaloo's lives didn't start out normal like most dragons, they were raised by ponies and they ended up meeting each other. They interacted with one another and they became good friends. I'm so grateful to see that friendship become love that grew so much up to this day." Twilight continued to ramble on and on until someone cleared his or her throat which caught Twilight's attention. Twilight went on to ask Spike and Scootaloo if they will take each other as husband and wife. Both dragons happily said yes to their vows. "Now, may we have the rings?" Lil' Cheese appeared and brought the pillow that had the rings on it. Twilight levitated the rings to Spike and Scootaloo. They put the rings on each other's fingers. "By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife." Twilight turned to Spike. "You may now kiss the bride." Spike lifted up Scootaloo's veil and gave her a nice kiss on the lips. Everyone cheered for the dragon couple as they were officially married.

A few years passed and it was snowing in Ponyville. Scootaloo was inside Twilight's castle while watching the snow fall from the window. She was also sitting on a rocking chair while her claws were on her belly which was larger than usual.

"Is the baby alright?" Spike said as he entered the room. He placed a small cup of hot chocolate on the small table next to Scootaloo.

"The baby kicks every now and then, but we're doing fine." Scootaloo said while rubbing her belly. Spike squatted down and placed a claw on Scootaloo's pregnant belly.

"Oh Scoots, our baby is adorable." Spike said.

"Spike, our baby hasn't even come out yet." Scootaloo chuckled.

"True, but our baby is adorable while still inside of you." Spike joked as he kissed Scootaloo's cheek. "I'll be right back. Twilight needs me to help her with Hearth's Warming shopping."

"Typical busy work from Twilight?" Scootaloo asked.

"Yep," Spike said as he went to the door. "Send out a scroll in case if something happens." Scootaloo nodded before she saw Spike left. Scootaloo turned to her belly rubbed it some more.

"We can't wait to see you, little one." Scootaloo whispered as she kept on rubbing her belly.
