Zipp groaned a little as she woke from her slumber. She felt a pressure on both her stomach and her back. She also felt warm. A tired smile stretched across her face as she heard two sets of purrs. Purrs belonging to two creatures that held special places in her heart. Her sons. As her eyes adjusted to the darkness of the brighthouse; she took a quick scan of the room. It was early morning; possibly an hour before sun up. The others were still sound asleep. She tried to move as gentle as she could to look at her youngest. She lifted the cover and gazed down at the adorable creature resting on her stomach.

He looked like a little white dragon. He was about the same size as Sparky when he had first hatched. But, Sparky didn't hatch out of an egg that came from her computer screen. The little dragon was named Gammamon. He was a cute little innocent creature that called her his mother. She heard him whimper a little as some of the cold air touched his body. He pressed himself further into his mothers warm body.

Zipp shushed her baby boy while gently rubbing his back. She barely heard him whisper. “Mommy.”. She smiled at him before covering him back up. She then turned her head to look over her shoulder at her oldest son. Technically, he was her oldest by only a year. But, by how high he stood; one would mistake him for practically a teenager. He looked almost like a large red dragon. The only thing was; he didn't have any wings, unless you counted the bat like wings he had for ears. Other than his dominating color; he had strange black markings on his skin and a black symbol he had on his white underbelly. His name was Guilmon.

Guilmon shifted a little in his sleep as he felt his mother move. He whispered. “Not wake up time, yet. Zippmon.”

Zipp smiled again and shushed him. He purred happily before he snuggled back into the bed. It was then Gammamon began to stir. He yawned before slowly crawling further up the bed. He stopped at Zipps chest and snuggled himself into her fur. He sighed happily as he rested in her loving embrace. She smiled and wrapped her right arm around him and gently kissed his forehead.

Gammamon spoke under his breath. “Thank you, mommy.”

Zipp nuzzled him before joining her sons in the calm of sleep once more.

When the morning sun finally rose in the sky it was the usual early morning routine. All of them would get up and get themselves ready to greet the day. Well, most of them would. At the moment Guilmon was helping his Aunt Sunny make breakfast. His little brother, Gammamon, was lazily laying on his back. His tiny body took a moment to warm up. Guilmon felt his brother move into another spot on his back.

Guilmon chuckled a little before speaking to his little brother. “Time to wake up, Gammamon.” He felt his little brother shift on his back again. He continued. “It's almost time for breakfast.”

Gammamon whimpered a little. “Cold.”

He replied. “You'll warm up after you're done eating.” He smiled at his younger brother before flipping a pancake onto a stack of two. Turning it into a stack of three.

Zipp smiled at her oldest as she set the table. Her sister should be making her way down in a moment and Izzy should almost be done making the juice. She was a little eager to get this day started. Her excitement for this day was a simple matter. This was a day for her and her sons only. Sure, everyday she would spend a little time with her sons. But, that was only for a few brief moments in the morning, on her lunch break, and just before they went to bed. Today on the other hand. Today, she was spending a whole day with them. A whole day of just her and her sons. She didn't have to worry about any detective work for that day. All she had to worry about was spending time with them.

Pipp fluttered down from the bedrooms just as they finished making breakfast. All of them enjoyed their meal together and talked about their plans for today. Izzy eagerly spoke about a new project she was working on. It involved a lot of glitter and some spray paint. Pipp was going to do some commentary on some new music. While Sunny was going to be studying a new map all of them had discovered.

When asked what her plans were; Zipp answered simply. “Spending time with my sons.” She smiled at the two. Gammamon was happily eating some pancake; while Guilmon cleaned some syrup the young digimon had gotten on his face and his stomach. She chuckled a little at them. They acted more and more like brothers than actual brothers. She smiled happily at them again and the group continued to enjoy breakfast.

After they had finished eating and had helped with the clean up. The family's day started with a trip to the community garden. Guilmon loved coming hear. He enjoyed the sight of the many colorful flowers and their lovely scents. He also enjoyed taking care of the plants he planted there. They were at his planter in the garden right now. One side had some vegetables growing. While the other side was going to hold some flowers they were going to plant today.

Guilmon eagerly smiled as he dug his talons into the soil. He gently pulled them through the dirt almost like a rake; leaving three large grooves in the soil. After he was done he repeated the process three more times. As he was making grooves in the soil; his little brother fluttered over the planter and dropped flower seeds into the grooves. The flowers they were planting were buttercups. Violets and some red daisy's. They were Guilmon's favorite flowers. Zipp watched as her sons worked together to cover the seeds with the soil. Once the seeds were covered; Guilmon picked up a watering can and watered the new flowerbed.

As Guilmon watered the seeds Zipp checked on the vegetables he had been growing. He had planted some veggies that he liked. Spinach, carrots, onions, tomatoes and even some peppers. She looked at the garden and noticed a few veggies were starting to sprout. She even saw some small tomatoes growing on the vine.

Guilmon walked over and asked. “How are they doing?”

Zipp smiled at him and replied. “They're growing fine, love.” She saw him smile as he started to water them. She noticed that Gammamon was not with him and looked around. She asked. “Hey, wheres?”

Gammamon suddenly flew around while saying. “Hey, look what I found.”

The two looked and Zipp nearly had a heart attack. Her youngest was hold a big garden snake in his claws. Guilmon looked at the snake in awe. Neither of them had seen a snake that close.

Zipp chuckled nervously and said. “Oh, wow. Nice find, baby.” She quickly added. “Please, go put it back where you found it.”

Gammamon turned towards her and asked. “Why?” The snakes tongue flicked out for a moment.

She tried her best to keep from yelled. “Just, go put the snake back where you found it, okay.”

The little digimon sighed sadly. “Okay.” He flew back with the snake in his claws.

Zipp sighed in slight relief as her youngest flew back to where he found the snake. She turned back just in time to see Guilmon finish watering the veggies. He smiled happily at his work and looked at her. He smiled at her and she smiled back at him. They then walked after Gammamon. Zipp hoped by the time they found him; he had gotten rid of the snake.

After their time at the community garden; the three made their way down to the beach. They were at an area of the beach where some tide pools had been dug. That way younger fillies and colts could enjoy the beach; without having to worry about the waves crashing into them.

Gammamon sighed happily as he floated on his back in the middle of one of the pools. The water was nice and cool. His mother watched him from the edge of the pool. While his older brother was building a sandcastle. Gammamon enjoyed the feeling of the water on his scales. As he floated he felt a gentle splash of water on his scales.

He stood up and looked over at his mother. He saw a smile on her face as she splashed him with more water. He growled playfully and sent a splash of water back at her. The two were having an all out splash fight. Both of them were laughing as they sent splashes of water at the other. As he dipped his claws beneath the water to splash his mom again. Gammamon noticed something just below the waters surface. He tilted his head a little in curiosity as he reached down to pick up the object. His claws digging beneath the sand under the object. As he picked it up the sand was washed off by the water.

Zipp noticed her youngest picking something up from the bottom of the pool. Her mind immediately thought he was picking up another snake. But, once she saw what her youngest was holding.

She smiled and said excitedly. “Whoa! Gammamon, you just found a sand-dollar!”

Gammamon questioned. “A what?”

Zipp walked closer and explained. “A sand-dollar. Think of it as a pretty sea urchin.” She added. “You're Aunt Sunny loves these.”

Gammamon smiled happily and held the sand-dollar to his mother. She took it and placed it under her wing. It was then Gammamon noticed that his older brother had started building another sandcastle. He flapped his wings a little and then glided in the air towards them. He called out playfully to his brother; while their mother followed close behind. The remainder of their time on the beach was spent building the largest sandcastle they had all ever built.

After their fun on the beach they went to the local pizza parlor. It was close to the evening and the place was a little full. But, thankfully they were able to get a booth over near the window. Gammamon was coloring in a small book the staff provided for young fillies and colts. While Guilmon was trying to solve the puzzle the parlor had set up at every table. The purpose of the puzzles was mostly promotional. Whoever would solve the puzzle would earn their family a free meal. Thankfully, for the restaurant no one had solved any of the puzzles yet. But, that was not stopping Guilmon from trying.

Zipp noticed her oldest scratching his head and asked. “Do you need some help?”

Guilmon nodded but kept his eyes on the puzzle. He read it. “I can be gained if you read. Can be taught if you listen. Remembered if forgotten and lost but can be found. I am old and I am new.” He turned towards his mother and shrugged his shoulders. “This one's got me beat.”

Zipp nodded and reread the text. This was a good puzzle. No wonder nobody had ever one a free meal here. She chuckled and suggested. “Eh, forget about it.” She smiled at her oldest and continued. “We're having family time now. Let's not worry about puzzles. Let's just worry about each other.”

Guilmon smiled at her and nodded. They began to talk a little bi; unintentionally leaving Gammamon out of the conversation. When the little Digimon had finished coloring in the book. He looked at the screen his older brother had been staring at. He read the text on the screen slowly.

Zipp heard her youngest ask. “Excuse me, mom?” She turned towards him and asked. “Yes, little one.”

He asked. “How do you spell knowledge.”

She was caught off guard by the question before she answered. “K-N-O-W-L-E-D-G-E. Why do you ask.”

Gammamon repeated the last two letters. “G and E.” He then pressed submit on the screen. For a moment a timer circled the screen. It was then triumphant music played from the screen. It caused all three of them to jump in surprise.

Their server had just returned with their drinks. She saw the screen and smiled happily before saying. “Congratulations!” They looked at her and she explained. “Y'all just solved one of our puzzles. That means this meal is free.” She pulled out a pen and pad and asked. “What would you all like to order?”

For all three of them; the pizza tasted a little bit better that evening.

By the time they had returned home the sun had already set and the moon had started to rise. Like earlier Gammamon was laying on his brothers back. His belly full of food and his body tired from the days fun. Guilmon smiled at his little brother before he looked at their mother.

He told her. “I'll get us cleaned up and ready for bed.”

She nodded and replied. “I'll be up after I'm done talking with your Aunts.”

Guilmon nodded and started to make his way towards the stairs. She smiled happily at the two as the disappeared into the upper-levels of the brighthouse. She made her way to the living room where her friends were gathered. Her sister invited her to sit next to her; as she sat down she was bombarded with questions about her day. She smiled happily and told all of them about it. But, the best part had yet to come.

A shot time later her and the others had climbed the stairs and got themselves ready for bed. After she had finished showering; Zipp made her way to her bed. Her sons were already underneath the covers asleep. She smiled at both of them as she walked closer to the bed. Her youngest opened his eyes and saw her approach.

He smiled and reached for her while saying in a tired voice. “Mommy.”

She shushed him while gently picking him up and hugging him. He purred happily as he nuzzled into the warmth of her fur again. She gently moved the blanket and climbed into the bed. As she layed down on her back. Her oldest turned and snuggled himself into her warm body. She smiled happily as she pulled the covers back over them before wrapping her arms around her two boys.

She gently kissed both of them on their foreheads before saying. “I love both of you.”

Both of them replied. “Love you too, mom.”

All three of them soon fell to sleep. All three of them in the comforts of each others embrace. A mother and her sons. Her babies.
