I walk around some more, trying, and failing to get my horn to glow

"C'mon!" I exclaimed as I focused on the door.

Maybe if I just pour my heart and soul into trying to open this god-damned door...

"C'mon you son of a!!!" I scream as I suddenly yank open the door!

"Oh, crap" I say as I try to think of what to do next.

Ok, my horn is glowing, door is floating, can I move it?

'Micheal proceeds to move the door, left, right, up, and down, before deactivating her magic and dropping it to the floor.

"Im literally a magical unicorn, can this get any weirder?" I say out loud as I walk out of the room into a hallway.

For flash sentry, becoming a Canterlot castle guard was the highlight of not only his career, but his life!

He was proud of himself, as was his family, and his pay was good.

Sure, even though most of the time guards didn't really do anything, there were times when he was reminded of his title, mainly discords return and the changeling attack.

But it was fine, he knew what he was getting into when he signed the contract.

Not only that, he was getting a promotion!

He was pretty sure about it, I mean they told him he would be transferred to guard the crystal empire, and he's never heard of such a place.

Flash sentry was certainly one happy pegasus.

"Oi!!" A voice rang out, catching said pegasus attention.

Mainly because it was the voice of princess Celestia.

Flash looked to his left, where the voice came from.

Low and behold, there she was, waving at him.

There were a few details that were different about her, but flash didn't pay attention to them, as his focus was on the princess of Equestria, currently approaching him.

"Hey you!" She exclaimed.

Flash looked around him, not seeing any other guards or ponies the princess could be speaking to.

"You deaf or something?" The princess asked, as she finished her journey, and was now towering over him.

Now fully aware that the princess was infact speaking to him, and he hasn't responding back, flash tensed up, and began trying to act professionally, as best he could.

"N- not at all princess" He said, to Celestias confusion.

"Princess? Oh, right. listen, uhhh" She began, waiting for the pegasus's name.

"Flash, flash sentry"

"Crazy name. Anyway, listen flash, I'm not princess Celestia, I'm her twin sister, you can refer to me as.. President Celestia" She said, proudly.

Flash was confused, Celestia had a twin sister? Since when?!

"And you, my yellow fellow, are going to be the first, American citizen!" She said, pointing her hoof at him.

"Wha- ok?.. But I thought we were Equestrians?" Flash asked, receiving a blank face from the President.

"Hell nah bruh, we are Americans! We're better!" Celestia said.

Flash was again, confused.

If this alicorn was truly Celestias sister, why wouldn't she be fiercely dedicated to Equestria? What the hay even is America? He's never heard of that place either.

But then again, she did say Americans were better.

"Um, ok! Sure I'll be an American"

"Good, first, you have to pledge your allegiance to my country" Celestia said as she raised one of her front hoofs, motioning flash to do the same.

"Repeat after me" She said as they both began speaking.

"I pledge allegiance, to the flag, of the United States of America"

"And to the republic for Wich it stands, one nation under god, indivisible with liberty, and justice for all" They both finished.

Flash couldn't help but smile, it was a pretty good pledge.

"Bam! You an American now!.. well, not really, you still need a citizenship, id, social, actually know American culture, and a whole bunch of other shit but eh, it's a start" Celestia said with a shrug.

Flash needed go do a double take after hearing that word.

"So, what now?" He asked.

"Now? Well I have to see what I'm working with, so how about you show me around the place? I'll probably just get lost again anyway" She responded.

"Oh, ok, well, follow me then?" Flash said, motioning Celestia to follow him.

He was still kind of iffy about this whole, American thing, but hey, if it turned out that this alicorn was the next big villain, then he can use the mind control card.

He would try to uphold his duty of guard, but when it's only him? Not a chance he could do anything.

Maybe he could try and find out her motive?

But she hasn't done anything evil.

I'm pretty sure flash only appeared in like two scenes during the eg movie. At least the pony version.

Speaking of, I'm currently trying to rewatch MLP, to try and get the personalities and everything right, but Netflix Mexico only has the first season and Netflix USA only has the first four.
