Coronation and Wedding (Finale)

When they stopped laughing, Cadance noticed Sombra and Sea cuddling.

"We'd better leave them alone now!" - Cadance thought to herself as she smiled.

She found them very cute together like this and was glad to see Sombra and Shining Sea happy.

She nudged Shining Armour, who turned to her and was about to speak, but Cadance put her hoof to her husband's mouth and nodded her head gently towards the snuggled couple.

Shining Armour noticed them, smiled, and he and his wife left the room in silence.

When the door to the room closed they noticed that Cadance and Shining had left the room.

"I wonder where they went?"-asked Shining Sea Sombra.

"I feel like they want us to be alone right now!" - Shining Sea said as she smiled at Sombra.

"I can't argue with that!" -said Sombra smiling.
Then he kissed Sea.

After they finished kissing, they talked for a few minutes afterwards.

Meanwhile, he asked Shining Sea Sombra what he would like to do after the coronation?

"At first, I was planning to go traveling, I want to explore beyond the Crystal Empire, including Ponyville and Canterlot," said Sombra, "But now I plan to travel after our wedding. But I want to do it all with you. Only if you want to, of course?" asked Sombra, a little nervously.

"With you, anywhere, my dear shadow!" said Sea excitedly.

"Thank you, my Star!" said Sombra reassuringly, and then smiling, she hugged Shining Sea.

Sea returned Sombra's hug.

When their hug was over Sea suddenly looked up at the wall and saw a clock that read exactly 18 hours.

"Oh Celestia, it's getting late, sorry my shadow, but I have to go to school and pick up Spark."

"Okay, my star. Can I walk you?"

"I'd be very happy to!" said Shining Sea.

Then she and Sombra headed for the door.

Sombra politely used her magic to open the door to the room and let Sea forward.

As they made their way down the river, the guards who saw them saluted and wished the future king and his love a good evening.

Sombra and Sea returned the greetings.

When they emerged from the palace, Shining Sea began to shiver, and Sombra put one of his wings on Sea's back.

Sea felt the wing pleasantly fluffy and warm, just like when they went into the palace after the two crystal hearts had taken over the place where the lone crystal heart used to rotate.

10 minutes later they reached the school gate.

As they entered the school gate, Sea noticed his daughter start to run towards them.

"Mummy, Sombwa!" cried Bright Spark.

"Hi, little one!" said Sombra as she picked Spark up and hugged him.

Sombra gently set Bright Spark down, who ran to his mother as he landed and hugged her.

"Hi, Spark!" said Sea as she returned her daughter's hug.

She asked him if they could go?

Spark nodded.

After announcing to Teacher Petalbloom that they had come to pick up Bright Spark, they said goodbye.

Before the three of them left together for Sea's home, Sombra asked her future daughter if she would like to ride on her back.

Spark smiled and nodded. Sombra then used her magic to put Spark on her back.

"Like a real family" - Petalbloom thought to himself as he smiled softly.

On the way home, Shining Sea told her daughter that they were moving into the palace.

"Are we going to live in a palace?" she asked Bright Spark Sea and Sombra excitedly.

"Yes my little girl, we are living in a palace!" said Shining Sea.

"This is the happiest day of my life!" exclaimed Spark, and then began to list all the happy moments that had happened to her today- "I'm going to have a new daddy, we're going to live in a palace, and..."

Then he stopped listing for a moment, turned to his new daddy-to-be, and spoke.

"After I showed my classmates the picture of you two with your engagement rings, one of them asked me if I was going to be a princess. Does that mean ..."

"You're going to be a princess, baby!" -said Sombra as she smiled at me.

"This is so cool!" -exclaimed Spark excitedly, "This is really the best day of my life!"

The two adults looked at each other and grinned.

For the rest of the trip, they told Spark that tomorrow, at 9:30am, they would announce to the Empire that they were getting married.

"And when is the wedding?" -asked Bright Spark of the adults.

After we had time to talk more with Rarity, she told us that when the coronation is over, she will start on our wedding dress," Sombra said, "She says that if all goes well, she will finish it after a week and a half."

"Because of this, we'll have our wedding about two weeks after the coronation." Sea finished with a smile, Sombra said.

"I can't wait!" -beamed Spark.

Before it was completely dark, they reached Sea and Spark's house.

When Sombra got drunk, she used her magic to get Spark off her back.

Spark walked over to Sombra, and Sombra bent down and hugged Spark.

They said goodbye, and Spark smiled and ran into the house.

Sea thanked Sombra for walking them home.

Then they shared a brief, soft kiss.

After the kiss, they said goodbye. Sea walked towards the entrance of the house, while Sombra spread her wings and flew towards the palace.

Sea caught one last glimpse of her receding lover before entering the door.

After entering the house, he closed the door and headed for the kitchen to talk to his daughter.

They always did this after they came home.

But, when he got into the kitchen, he noticed that Spark was asleep with his head on the table. Sea smiled and put her daughter down.

Before going to bed, Sea sat in the kitchen and remembered the moment when Sombra wanted to marry her.

She never thought that day would come again. She felt like she did the night Sombra kissed her for the first time.

"Such a kind and adorable man wants to marry me!" she thinks to herself, her face flushed with joy, "As my daughter said, 'This is truly the best day of my life!' I can't wait for our wedding!" -she exclaims slightly loudly.

"You fool, you'll wake your daughter!" -he said quietly, scolding himself, then yawned, "It's time for me to go to bed."

Meanwhile in the palace

After a few minutes, Sombra finally reached the entrance of the palace.

She quietly crept to her room and then entered the door.

She went into her room, undressed and went to bed.

"This wonderful woman, my star, has accepted my proposal!" he said in ecstasy-"This is the happiest day of my life!"

Before he fell asleep, however, he felt a little uneasy.

No wonder, for his coronation was three days away.

The next morning

The next morning, Sombra got out of bed well rested. After putting on his clothes, he stepped out of his room and headed for the dining room.

On the way, he met Shining Armour and said hello.

After Shining Armour returned Sombra's greeting, Shining Armour told her that Shining Sea was waiting for her in the dining room as arranged.

Sombra thanked Shining Armour for the information and then said goodbye to Shining Armour and headed to the dining room.

Meanwhile, in the dining room.

Cadance and Shining Sea were talking in the dining room. They were the only ones in the dining room because after Twilight and her friends finished breakfast, they split up into several groups.

Cadance poured tea into Sea's cup.

As she poured the tea, Cadance noticed that Shining Sea was slightly embarrassed and her face was slightly flushed.

"Are you all right, dear?" asked Cadance, slightly worried.

"Oh, sorry your majesty, I was just a little distracted" Sea replied back, slightly embarrassed, "I still find it hard to believe that I'm getting married again after my husband's death. Especially to such a kind, loving, handsome man!"

A few seconds later the door opened and Sombra entered the dining room.

"Good morning, ladies. We've woken up to a wonderful morning, haven't we?"

"Good morning to you, too!" greeted Cadance, "You're right, we're having a wonderful morning."

"Hi, Shadow!" said Sea.

Meanwhile, Sombra walked over to the table, kissed Sea and sat down next to her.

But before she could start breakfast, she noticed that Twiligth and his friends were not eating breakfast with them.

"Where are Twilight and the others?" asked Sombra.

Cadance explained that Twilight, Applejack, and Fluttershy had gone back to Ponyvile to bring their family members to the coronation celebration. Originally, they had planned to have their family members come with them yesterday, but just because something is planned doesn't mean that plan can be executed.

Rainbow Dash and Pinky Pie are helping to decorate and host the coronation party and coronation venue.

And Rarity will do a few finishing touches on Sombra's coronation outfit.

"They'll probably arrive at the Crystal Empire at 10am!" finished Cadance.

"I can't wait to meet their family!" said Sombra with great enthusiasm, "And I'd like to personally congratulate Spike for protecting the Empire from me the last time we met!"

During breakfast, Sombra noticed that Sea was a little restless.

"Are you all right, dear?" asks Sombra with a worried expression.

"I'm fine, I'm just a little anxious about the announcement of our wedding. I've never stood up in front of an audience like this before. I'm afraid I'll do something stupid!"

"Don't worry, sweetie, everything will be fine!" - said Sombra in a soothing voice.

Sombra's reassuring speech eased Sea's anxiety.

"Thank you, Shadow!" -said Sea, in a calmer state of mind, and then hugged Sombra.

After Sombra and Sea finished hugging, Cadance turned to Sombra and handed her a letter, then spoke.

"Sombra, this letter was sent to you by Quillpetal."

"I wonder what Miss Quillpetal could have written to me?" asked Sombra as she used a knife to open the letter and began to read it.

"Dear King Sombra. I would like to inform you that next Friday, the historical exhibition of King Cloudspark's reign will officially open. With the help of official documents and other artefacts found in the Cave, we will gain a better insight into the daily life of the inhabitants of the Crystal Empire a thousand years ago. Once again, I would like to thank you, Your Majesty, for donating these wonderful artefacts to the Museum. Signed, QuillPetal. P.S. Originally I was going to tell you in person, but I had to leave for Canterlot in a hurry."

When he finished reading, a smile appeared on his face. No wonder, he was glad that now more information about his father would be preserved for posterity.

"What did Quillpetal write to you?" asked Cadance curiously.

"Next Friday is the official opening of the exhibition on my father's reign!" replied Sombra with a happy face.

"This is very good news!" beamed Cadance.

"I couldn't agree more," -said Sombra with a happy face, "But I have a wish!"

"And what is that?" asked Cadance.

"I would like to announce this news alone!" said Sombra confidently.

"Wow, I didn't expect that." said Cadance, surprised, "Are you sure you want to do that?"

"Absolutely. It's time for me to take care of some Imperial business on my own!" declared Sombra- "And I feel like I should be the one to announce it, since it's all about my father!

A smile of delight appeared on Cadance's face.

She was pleased to see that Sombra had become more confident about the affairs of the Empire.

"I'm glad of that, Sombra!" replied Cadance, "At least I'll have more time to take care of some things for your upcoming Coronation."

"Will you need any help?" asked Sombra.

"Thanks, but I don't need any help," replied Cadance with a smile, "Don't worry, I don't have much to take care of."

"That's very reassuring!" said Sombra, relieved.

After she had finished her sentence Sombra looked at the wall clock and saw the time.

"Is it already 9:30?" said Sombra, surprised. My star, shall we go?

Sea nodded a little nervously. She wasn't so nervous now, though.

Sombra and Sea got up from their chairs. Walking side by side, they headed for the door and said goodbye to Princess
Cadance before stepping out.

Walking down the corridor, they finally emerged from the crystal palace.

As it was nice and sunny outside, many people were walking around the main square.

It was a perfect opportunity for Sombra to announce the two pieces of news.

Sombra and Shining Sea reached the main square, Sombra used her magic to create a temporary crystal palace, much to everyone's surprise.

The people walking in the main square saw that their future king was about to make a speech, so they fell silent.

They didn't know that there was going to be an announcement today, though.

Nor did they understand why his lover, Shining Sea, was standing by Sombra.

Sombra and Shining Sea stepped up to the podium, Sombra cleared his throat and began to speak.

"Good morning, citizens of the Empire!" -Sombra greeted the ponies.

"I'm sure many of you are curious about this random speech. I would like to reassure everyone that there is no problem.
The subject of the announcement, two things that are extremely important to me."

Sombra paused in his speech as the ponies began to whisper.

"I wonder what those two important things are?" whispered one of the ponies.

"I wonder if it has anything to do with that particular rumor?"

Sombra waited for the crowd to finish whispering, then continued speaking.

"The first important thing is that in four days the historical exhibition of my father's reign will open. I hope from now on, they will be much more familiar with the life of my glorious father."

Sombra paused again between his speeches, as the ponies cried out joy at this news.

"Your Majesty, I look forward to learning more about Cloudspark's reign!" said one pony excitedly.

"Oh, sorry your majesty, we interrupted your speech", another pony expressed his regret.

Sombra reassured the ponies not to worry about being interrupted.

Sombra completely understands why they are so upset.

He is also very happy that more information about his father is being preserved for posterity.

Sombra finally continued his speech.

"I'm sure many of you have heard a certain rumour about me and Shining Sea."

The ponies knew about that rumour and they knew what it was about.

"I assure you that the rumour is true."

The ponies smiled and looked at each other. They knew where this was going.

"Me and Shinig Sea are going to get married!" finished Sombra, smiling at his future wife.

This made Shining Sea's face turn a little red.

When Sombra finished his speech, the ponies cried out loudly and wished the future spouses much happiness.

After a few seconds, one of the ponies held up his hoof to ask Prince Sombra a question. Sombra noticed and nodded in his direction.

"Good morning, Your Majesty. I would also like to wish you many happy experiences."

May I ask you when your wedding will be and who will make your wedding attire?"

Sombra listened intently to the inquiring pony's questions and finally spoke.

"Of course. In answer to your first question, we will have our wedding in about two weeks," Sombra announced, "In answer to your second question, of course Miss Rarity will make our dresses."

"Thank you very much for your answers, Your Majesty!" said the pony who asked the question, gratefully.

Sombra and Shining Sea then thanked the ponies for all their kind words, and Sombra announced that everyone was welcome to attend the coronation the day after tomorrow, which starts at 9am at the stadium, and the party afterwards.

The ponies thanked him for the invitation, said goodbye to their future king and his beloved, and went about their daily routine.

Then Sombra and Sea walked down from the crystal platform, and after they got down, Sombra put the platform away.

They chatted for a few more minutes, until it occurred to Sombra that her friends and their families were slowly returning from Ponyville and she would like to show them around the Crystal Empire before providing them with lodging

"If you don't mind, Star, I'm off to the train station to meet my friends' families."

"Of course I don't mind!" said Sea.

"You can meet them too if you like." offered Sombra.

"As much as I'd like to meet them, I'll be meeting a friend of mine." said Sea regretfully- "Hopefully tomorrow or on Coronation Day I can get to know them better!

After they finished their conversation, they said goodbye to each other with a soft kiss.

Finally they both set off in different directions.

While Sombra started flying towards the train station, Sea headed towards a café she liked.

Here he would meet his friend Motormouth.

Getting off at the train station, he saw a familiar face on the platform.

It was Steelwire, talking to her parents.

After making sure his eyes were not deceiving him, he said hello to Steelwire and his parents.

" Good day, Master Steelwire!" greeted Sombra with a smile. Then he turned his head to Steelwire's parents- "And to you."

"'Good day to you too, your majesty'," said Steelwire and his parents, almost simultaneously, as they bowed to their future king.

Then they began to talk.

As they chatted, they told Sombra that they had returned to the Crystal Empire half an hour ago from a visit to a relative.

Because, since the dark tear had finally disappeared from the sky approximately 25 days ago, Steelwire and her family had travelled to Canterlot the following day for a relative visit, because during the 52 days of the sky tear incident, it was unfortunately forbidden to leave or visit the Crystal Empire.

Steelwire then explained that they were originally heading to the palace because Steelwire wanted to give a gift to Sombra.

"But I would like to give you your gift now, your majesty" -He then pulls out a small statue from his bag.

The entire statue was made of wire. Its pedestal is a wooden circle, 15 cm in diameter. On this pedestal was the wire figure of Sombra (Alicorn version), Shining Sea and Bright Spark. The base of the pedestal was surmounted by a wooden plinth.

Written in black on the wooden sign is the text "The new royal family"

"This looks amazing! Thank you very much!" -said an astonished Sombra as she thanked him for the gift.

Steelwire thanked him for the praise, while his parents' faces showed that they were very proud of their son.

Sombra continued his speech.

"You are a truly gifted pony. Have you ever thought about going to an art high school after school?"

"Hm, I haven't thought about that," Steelwire replied as she put her hoof to her chin, "True, high school is a long way off, but it would be a good idea to keep that thought in my mind. Thanks for your good advice, Mr. Sombra."

"You're welcome, Master Steelwire."

Over the next few minutes, Sombra began to get to know Steelwire's parents better.

Steelwire's father is named Woddy Carpenter, who owns a carpentry shop on the edge of the realm, near the Crystal Empire's lumberyard.

His mother's name is Flower Blossom. She has a flower shop near the palace.

While talking, they suddenly began to hear the sound of a train whistle.

"Is it 10 o'clock already?" said Woddy Carpenter, surprised.

"I'm sorry, Your Majesty, but we must interrupt our conversation because I have some business with my family to attend to."

"No problem," Sombra said reassuringly, "If you have some business to attend to, I don't want to keep you any longer."

Finally, Sombra thanked him once more for his gift and they said goodbye.

Unfortunately, the statue would not fit in his saddlebag, so Sombra teleported it to his room.

A few seconds later, the train arrived at the station.

When the locomotive stopped, the doors opened and the ponies began to disembark. Those who saw Sombra greeted her.

Sombra returned the greetings as he searched the smaller crowd for his friends.

But luckily he didn't have to look around too long, as he soon spotted one of his friends, Applaejack, who was apparently helping an elderly lady.

This old lady was Applejack's grandmother, Grandma Smith.

Sombra spotted them and waved them over and started walking towards them.

When she reached them, she said hello.

"Good afternoon, ladies!" he said elegantly, "You must be Applejack's granny, right?

After Grandma Smith nodded, she returned Sombra's greeting.

"You too, Your Majesty!" -said Grandma Smith as she bowed to Sombra.

"You're part of my friend's family, so feel free to drop the formality, madam!" -said Sombra kindly.

Granny Smith blushed at the privilege.

"Hello, sugar cube!" finally greeted Applejack.

"How was your trip?" -asked Sombra.

"Fine, Am I right, Granny?"
Grandma Smith nodded with a happy face.

As they talked, almost everyone who was a friend or family member of Sombra's friends got off the locomotive.

After greetings and introductions, they set off to explore the Crystal Empire, led by Sombra.

First they apparently headed for a restaurant.

Not surprisingly, they were hungry after the long journey.

Meanwhile, Shining Sea, after a few minutes of walking, finally reached the door of the café.

When he entered the café door, he started looking for his friend Motormouth.

Yesterday, they had agreed to meet at this café at about 10 o'clock today, and then they would go together to the nearby hairdressing salon.

After a few seconds of searching, Shining Sea finally found her friend and walked towards him.

Motormouth was reading a book when Shining Sea said hello.

After hearing Shining Sea's greeting, he put the book down and returned Sea's greeting.

Before they started talking, Sea bought himself a cup of coffee and sat down at the table.

While they talked, Shining Sea told his friend that he was late for the meeting because he and Sombra had made two announcements to the citizens of the Empire.

These two announcements were, the announcement of the historical exhibition of the reign of King Cloudspark that was about to open, and then the announcement of the marriage of Sombra and Shining Sea.

"I can't wait to see that historical exhibit!" exclaimed Motormouth, "By the way, how did it feel to be the center of an announcement? Knowing you, you must have been nervous!"

"Don't tell me, I was nervous as hell!" said Sea, "I was afraid I'd do something stupid. But Sombra's reassuring look calmed my nerves!"

"No wonder you were nervous, I would have been nervous at my first royal speech!" -said Motormouth.

"Sombra gave the whole speech, though!" -said Sea, "I 'just’, stood next to him and answered the ponies questions. I couldn't make a speech like that on my own!"

"You'd do well to learn it, considering your future social standing!" declared Motormouth.

"What future social standing are you talking about?" asked Shining Sea, confused.

"You're not seriously asking me that?" -asked Motormouth, surprised.

Seeing the confusion on Shining Sea's face, Motormouth begins to explain.

"Okay, let me explain," says Motormouth, after sighing, "First of all, aftertomorrow, Prince Sombra will officially become King of the Crystal Empire. And since the two of you are getting married, technically you will be Queen of the Crystal Empire."

The moment she heard the last words of that sentence, Shining Sea put her head on her hoof in surprise and confusion.

As logical as it is to call a king's wife queen, Shining Sea hadn't thought about it.

She was too busy spending as much time as possible with her lover.

While Shining Sea was thinking about this, Motormouth, seeing that his friend's mind was wandering, began to wave his hoof in front of his friend's head.

At this, Shining Sea finally spoke.

"Oh, forgive me, I was a little distracted."

"A little!?" -said Motormouth absently.

"All right, I digress a little more!" -said Sea deadpan.

"But, you can understand. I never dreamed I'd ever be Queen!"

"I hope I'm not doing anything crazy!" said Sea, a little sadly, after sighing.

Motormouth, seeing this, put his hoof on his friend's shoulder and spoke.

"It's a pity to be sad, you'll make a wonderful queen!"

"You may be right," said Shining Sea, a little happier, after he sighed.

"Now you're talking!" -said Motormouth, amused.

After Motormouth finished his speech, he stood up from the table and spoke.

"Shall we go, your majesty?" he said mockingly as he bowed.

"I'm not queen yet!" announced Sea, "On the other hand, you're my friend, so you don't have to call me that! Do we understand each other?

(Although she knew her friend was joking.)

"Right." said Motormouth, amused, "So, shall we go?"

Sea nodded silently.

At that they picked up their bags and headed for the exit and then out the door.

Meanwhile, Sombra, as they walked towards the restaurant, began to introduce the crystal empire to her family of friends. Grandma Smith is amazed at the beauty of the crystal empire.

As they walked towards the restaurant, Sombra and Spike walked side by side and chatted.

At Sombra's request, Spike explained to her what Power Ponies were.

They finally reached the restaurant after 20 minutes.

When they walked in the door, they were greeted by the waiter.

"Greetings, Your Majesties!" said one of the waiters as he bowed to the two royal ponies, who bowed their heads in return.

When they all walked into the restaurant, the waiter directed them to the largest table, and when they got there and sat down on a chair, the waiter brought a few pieces of the menu to the table.

After everyone had chosen their food, the waiters brought out their orders after 5 minutes.

During a meal, Twiligth Sparkle's father Night Light asks Sombra what that fancy Band on his left foreleg is.

Sombra explained to him the origin story of the band.

After 1 hour of eating, the group set off, led by Sombra, to explore the Crystal Empire.

On the way, he showed them the most important buildings and landmarks of the Crystal Empire.

The group spent about 3 hours touring the most interesting areas of the Empire.

They finally reached the entrance to the palace at half past four.

Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash were waiting for them at the entrance.

After saying hello to the group, they told Sombra that they were fully prepared for the coronation party the day after tomorrow and started decorating the stadium.

"And Rarity said if you can, you should look for her in the sewing room because she'd love to show you your coronation suit," Rainbow Dash finished.

"Thank you so much for your help." -thanked Sombra.

"That's what friends are for!" -announced Rainbow Dash as she patted Sombra's shoulder loosely.

After they entered the palace doors, Twiligth Sparkle's mother, Twiligth Velvet, cried out in fright.

When asked what was wrong, she pointed to the object of her fear.

Where she pointed, a scary creature with black skin walked.

It was Death who stopped and turned his head towards the voice

When the crowd saw the creature, they panicked and started screaming loudly. (Except for those who knew who it was.)

Sombra, seeing the panic, suddenly spoke.

"Everyone calm down!" -cried Sombra, "Don't be afraid of him, he is my friend, Death."

The slightly confused members of the crowd looked towards Twiligth Sparkle, who, in an effort to prove Sombra's words true, nodded.

At this, members of the crowd (trusting Twiligh and Sombra) began to walk curiously and cautiously towards Death to better observe Death's appearance.

Death tensed slightly as the curious crowd began to examine him.

After Twiligth Velvet asked Sombra why the creature looked so strange, she explained to them the origin of the creature and Death's mission.

As the group examined the creature, Sombra stepped up to Death and greeted him.

"Good day, my friend. Please do not be angry with them, they have never seen a creature like you before."

"Good day to you too" -replied Death, greeting Sombra.

"Don't worry, I'm not angry with them, I understand them, I would have behaved similarly. I was looking for you anyway, Sombra. I want to announce to you that I will be leaving the Crystal Empire in a few days!" -Death announced.

Sombra and his friends were surprised to hear the news.

"Why do you want to leave the Crystal Empire?" -asked Twillight Sparkle, surprised.

"A very rare event happened to me last night, I had a dream!" said Death- "As you know, we Fursoans rarely dream and when we do, it must contain very important messages!"

"If I may ask, what was your dream about?" asked Twilight, curiously.

Death nodded, and then began to tell a story.

"In my dream I was standing in the middle of a blizzard.

As I looked around to see where I was, I suddenly heard a loud noise.

When I realized the sound was coming from the sky, I looked up and saw a strange, huge building slowly descending towards the ground.

When it landed, I started to walk towards it out of curiosity.

However, after a few metres, the ground suddenly began to crackle and crunch beneath me.

It turned out that what I thought was snowy ground was actually ICE.

Before I knew it, I was in the freezing water and gradually sinking under.

As I sank deeper and deeper under the water, I slowly lost consciousness and eventually passed out.

When I woke up, I realized that I was not where I had fainted, but floating in a vast, white, empty space.

I was almost in a panic when suddenly a voice came out of nowhere and told me to calm down.

I asked him who he was and what he wanted. He told me his name was Vitia.

Before I wanted to tell her that I had been looking for her for a long time, she told me that she knew what I wanted from her and would grant my wish, but first I would have to travel to Gartauria (the land of centaurs and gargoyles).

He also told me that 'what you will find there will change the history of all Equestria and beyond, and will shed light on the origins of the Fursoans.'

Before I could ask him what he was talking about, he said that unfortunately he could tell me no more.

When he finished speaking, the dream suddenly faded and I woke up gasping in the night."

"And that was the end of my dream," he finished telling me about his dream.

The crowd listened to Death's dream in amazement.

"I wonder what he means by changing the history of Equestria and beyond?" -said Twilight quietly as she frowned
"Is your dream to be interpreted literally or figuratively?"

"Unfortunately, I don't know that either!" -replied Death to Twilight's question.

"A building floating in the sky?" -asked Rainbow Dash, surprised and curious, "The only building I can think of is Cloudsdale! What did it even look like?"

"Unfortunately, I don't remember that either!"-Death sighed sadly.

"What does Vittia mean by 'shedding light on the origins of the Fursoans', Sugarcube?" asked Applejack.

"I have a terrible thing to say to you, for some reason we can't remember our entire history from 1000 years ago!" said Death sadly after sighing.

"We feel that until we started thinking for ourselves a thousand years ago, we were just mechanically doing our job, which could have taken years or decades!"

"This is very sad news!" said Fluttershy sadly, "I wish there was something we could do to help!".

"Actually, you could help me!" said Death hopefully, "Vittia mentioned that I was looking for a Centaur who had visited Equestria long ago. Do you know who exactly that might have been?"

"Vittia was thinking of Prince Tirek!" replied Twillight, after some thought.

"Who is Prince Tirek?" asked Sombra.

Twilight Sparkle began to tell the story.

"1028 years ago, the king of Gartauria, Vorak, received a letter from an unknown sender saying that Equestria was planning to attack their country.

After Vorak's two sons, Tirek and Scorpan, learned of the letter's contents, they voluntarily set out for Equestria to make sure that the letter was true.

Even before they entered Equestria, Tirek instructed his brother to stay behind while he looked around.

Tirek didn't want his brother to get hurt.

He loved his brother very much.

But in Equestria he discovered that the contents of the letter were a complete lie!

Meanwhile, he had also befriended a young unicorn woman, Gusty the Great.

When Tirek told his brother the truth, Scorpan became upset and cast a spell (which Tirek did not know) to stun his brother, and then began preparing to drain his brother's power.

When Tirek regained consciousness, he noticed that his brother was beginning to drain his power.

According to him, the ritual began slowly.

He immediately asked his brother why he was doing this.

Scorpan told him that he wanted to steal all of Equestria's magic and use it to take control of Gartauria.

He also told him that he had written the fake letter.

The letter gave him a reason to leave the kingdom.

Tirek was disappointed in his beloved brother and used his remaining magic to teleport to the princess.

He informed them of Scorpan's intentions, and they helped to defeat him.

While Scorpan was imprisoned in Tartarus for his sins, Tirek regained his own magical powers and returned to his home in Gartauria to tell his parents what had happened in Equestria.

For years, they tried to talk some sense into Scorpan, but all he did was shout at them and berate his family.

In time, they could take it no longer and left Equestria in frustration.

They have not been seen in Equestria since.

Twilight also told of Scorpan's release, Discord and his betrayal, and his gift to help defeat Scorpan, and then Twilight received a castle as a gift.

"Poor things, I hope they are much better after what happened." said Sombra, expressing her regret, "By the way, you told me about this powerful being, Discord. If he has such power, why didn't he help us during the dark tear incident?"

"Well..." shrugged Rainbow Dash, "He is a slightly dubious ally..."

"He's our friend!" said Fluttershy softly, smiling, "And he's not helping because chaos magic isn't working in the crystal realm for some reason, we don't know why!
He originally wanted to come with us, but unfortunately he has other things to do."

"Did you say chaos magic?" asks Sombra curiously, "Then it must be because of the crystals that make up the crystal empire!"

"And how do you ..." Pinkie Pie wanted to ask, then realized how she knew- "Oh sure, crystal magic!"

"I'm still impressed with your knowledge, Sombra!"- said Twillight, amazed, "At least, we know that now."

"Thank you so much for your help, Twilight!" said Death with joyful enthusiasm.

"When would you like to leave?" -asked Sombra, "I hope you'll attend my coronation the day after tomorrow!"

"I wouldn't miss such a day, Your Majesty!" said Death.

"I am very glad!" said Sombra, delighted.

After a short while of conversation, Sombra excused herself from the group to leave them, and then headed to Rarity's sewing room.

When she entered the room, her jaw dropped at the beautiful suit Rarity had made.

After an hour of dress fittings, in which they made sure the suit fit Sombra perfectly, they headed to the dining room to have dinner with the others.

Meanwhile, Twilight and her friends showed their family members where they would be sleeping.

When they started eating dinner in the dining room, Twilight, at Sombra's request, explained who Gusty the great was.

Gusty the great was the one who defeated Grogar some 1031 years ago and hid his bell in an unknown place.

Grogar was turned into a stone statue by Luna, Celestia (and probably Valance) and hidden in an unknown place.

After he finished telling Twilight, Sombra thanked him for answering her question.

Half an hour later, they finished dinner and went to bed.

The next day

The next day, Twilight and her friends helped the organizers finish decorating the stadium, while Sombra spent most of the day thinking about her coronation speech.

The great day has finally arrived

At half an hour before 9, Sombra was pacing back and forth in a small building while Rarity tried to give Sombra his suit.

Meanwhile, his best friend, Shining Armour, is close by

Sombra stood motionless long enough to put on his shoes, then continued pacing.

"Don't worry, dear!" Rarity assured him, "Everything will be fine!"

Sombra sighed.

"You're right, I'm just a little worried that as of today, I will officially be King of the Crystal Empire! It scares me a little!"

"Like I said before, Sombra, it's no use getting nervous about it!" -reassured Rarity, "It's YOUR day, so just be happy!"

"Rarity's right, buddy!" offered Shining as he patted his friend on the shoulder, "A lot may change after this, but we, your friends, will always be here for you! So calm down, buddy."

"You're right, it's nothing to worry about!" said a calmer Sombra- "Thank you very much for your support, my friends!"

Finally, after a few minutes, Rarity and Shining Armour headed towards the stadium to take their seats.

After a little over 20 minutes, there was a knock on the door and then two voices.

"May we come in to see you, Sombra?"

Sombra recognized the two voices, it was Celestia and Luna.

She told them yes.

When they entered the door and saw her dress, their jaws dropped.

Her cloak was tied with a crystal heart style clasp, in the style of her old scarf.

A high necked cloak with thick fur trim stretched across the floor behind her. It was pale red with a crystal pattern.

The suit that went with it was black with red and gold stripes.

The collar of the suit had 1 to 1 cufflinks, which were purple crescent-shaped and accented with gold.

The shoes were made of gold in matching shades.

"Wow, you look wonderful!" said Luna, amazed, "You look like a king.

"All that's missing is the crown!" said Celestia with a smile" -Yes, soon you won't be missing that either!

"You're right, Celestia!" said Sombra cheerfully.

Celestia and Luna were happy to see Sombra cheerful.

Then Celestia asks him, "Shall we go?"

Sombra took a deep breath, then just said, "Yes."

Once they exited the building, they spread their wings and flew up in a formation so that Sombra was in the middle (since this day is all about her), while Celestia was to the right and Luna to the left.

In this formation they flew together to the coronation event.

Meanwhile, all the ponies took their places.

So many had gathered on this beautiful, sunny day for the coronation that there was hardly any room left.

All the people of the Empire would like to see their beloved prince officially become their king.

The inside of the stadium was decorated with beautiful yellow and red ribbons, sprinkled with red tulips.

In the centre of the stadium was a temporary platform with a large surface area, whose columns, wooden floor beams and bracing slats were all made of sparkling crystals.

The podium was also decorated with red and gold ribbons, also sprinkled with red tulips.

Around the dais, several rows of chairs were arranged in a semicircle.

Here sat the VIP guests, that is, Sombra's friends and family members, his future wife and daughter, Shining Sea and Bright Spark, Celestia and Luna's sister Valance and his wife, Aurablossom and our Fursoan friend Death.

Other chairs were occupied by military commanders, council members and other ponies of high rank.

When the hand of the clock reached 9 o'clock, Shining Armour and Cadance stepped up to the microphone and Shining Armour spoke.

"Ladies and gentlemen."

"Today we are gathered to honor a momentous occasion, the coronation of King Sombra!"

He then handed the floor to Cadence, who continued.

"So let's welcome King Sombra!" and turned his head to the group flying in the sky.

Meanwhile, the choir began the coronation song.

One by one the ponies turned to look at the approaching royal group and a deafening cheer began to echo around the vast stadium.

Many ponies waved the Empire's flag in the air. Sombra's ears twitched in mid-flight when he noticed the cheering of the ponies, and then he smiled faintly.

But the smile almost turned to laughter when he noticed that on the flags next to the guards and his friends he had written the words, "King Sombra - trust us, he KNOWS!"

You had to admit, Sombra has a great talent for coming up with the best ideas.

Once they finally reached the podium, Cadance and Shining Armour stepped back to allow the group to land perfectly.

The group finally landed on the podium in the exact formation they had originally arrived.

Where Luna had landed, there was a small, cushioned chair next to her, and on it was Sombra's crown.

The crown was in the shape of an average circle, resplendent in gold, decorated with small purple star gems around it.

When Sombra also dismounted, she noticed her friends, her lover and her daughter-to-be, all smiling reassuringly at her, while the rest of the royal family all nodded or winked at her, which made her feel a little better.

Finally Celestia stepped up to the microphone and began her speech.

"Welcome!" As Shining Armour said, today is a special day, for as you know, as of today, Sombra will officially be the King of the Crystal Empire."

"After all that Sombra has done for the Crystal Empire, he deserves to be King!"

"From a painful past, tested in the most fierce battles, has emerged a phoenix unlike any other.

Many would have faltered at the beginning of his journey, but I am proud to say that I have watched him unfold. "

"He faced the choice of joining those dark things or fighting them for the peace and security of the realm.

It takes tremendous courage to not only accept your mistakes, but to put your heart into it to keep your friends!"

"To conclude my speech, I will just say: Let us salute King Sombra!"

A loud cheer met this sentence and Celestia nodded to her sister.

As she spoke, Luna lifted the crown from the cushion and waved it towards Sombra.

Sombra lowered her head for Luna to place it on her head.

Celestia spoke once more;

"Ladies and gentlemen, today it is my great pride to formally present to you the new King of the Crystal Empire, Sombra!"

When Sombra lifted his head, feeling the thrill of excitement that accompanied the crown resting atop his head, the princess before him bowed. So did the others. They smiled happily at her as they straightened up, Pinkie bouncing happily.

"Fantastic!" Rainbow Dash spoke, and Sombra caught her gaze and smiled.

Sombra caught a glimpse of Celestia as she stood next to him, and she winked at him in congratulations. He then bowed to the ponies in front of him, and more cheers hit his ears. He opened his eyes and saw the cheering crowd.

Then he began to wave towards them.

Finally Celestia stepped up to him and whispered, "Go on, say something. They are all here FOR YOU."

Sombra nodded, stepped up to the microphone, cleared her throat and spoke.

"If someone told me that my life would last until today, I wouldn't have believed them.

When I completely lost hope, my magic was unleashed that accelerated my growth and then I went mad with power.

I made myself believe that I was a monster, unworthy of the ponies' friendship. When I gave up, my mind eventually warped and I became a tyrant.

When I returned, I was angry and upset, hating that everyone was so happy.

So I did my best not to get attached to anyone!

But in the end, all it took was a lonely little tabby and one simple word: Boop.

I was very surprised when I first met Bright Spark.

He showed me a kindness that was like nothing I had ever experienced before."

He closed her eyes, the tears that were about to fall barely needed the slightest of lashes to hit the floor as she recovered her breath.

He opened them again and spoke to everyone in the stadium, and to himself.

"Thanks to him and my friends, I can stand here before you.

When I found out about my inheritance, I made a firm statement that I did not want to take that opportunity.

I was afraid of becoming the same monster I used to be!

But thanks to my friends, I reluctantly agreed to accept my title.

They refused to reject what they saw in me. It's not only thanks to the relentless support of the ponies," he looked over his shoulder at the ponies watching behind him, "but also to my friends and family that I am here today!"

He looked back at the crowd and saw many of them crying happily as they listened.

"The moment I sacrificed all my energy to kill the creature, I thought I was done for.

But thanks to my friends and to you, the people of the Crystal Empire, not only am I alive again, but I've become Alicorn.

I've been given a second chance, and I intend to do it right. It's all worth it to see the people of Crystal Realm happy!

She looked out over her realm and saw the light shining on the crystal-clad buildings. A realm of shimmering hopes and dreams, including his own.

"I'm home, everyone," he whispered, his heart aching with the happiness he had worked so hard for. "I am HOME".

Finally, Sombra finished her speech.

The crowd watched in curiosity as the gem of Sombra's band glowed and a spark of light rose from it to blaze on Sombra's crown.

Finally it sank into it, the glow fading. It seemed that the crown now had extra light.

When the scene ended, Cadance appeared soon after, announcing to everyone, "Everyone is welcome to the coronation party!"

After the coronation was over, Sombra walked down the platform to her friends.

His friends came up to congratulate him, and Bright Spark ran up to him with a big hug. After Spark let go, Sea stepped up and gave him a gentle hug.

"Well done, Shadow!" - she whispered - "You've become the king we need and deserve."

"Thank you, my Star!" -she whispered back to Sombra, then returned the embrace and finally they ended the scene with a soft kiss.

Celestia beamed with pride as she turned to face him.

This crown fits you perfectly!" - she declared - "I am very proud of you, Sombra. We all are."

The rest of the royal family nodded.

"Thank you, Celestia, everyone." Sombra didn't know what else to say.

"Welcome to the club." Twilight waved her hoof at her own crown and grinned. Sombra smiled back at her, glad to have such support.

Meanwhile, Shining Armour and Cadance walked up to Sombra, patting their friend Alicorn on the back.

"Welcome, Sombra!" declared Cadance in a joyous mood, "You are officially a Royal Member!"

"I told you buddy, there's nothing to be nervous about!" -smiled Shining Armour.

Meanwhile, Pinkie Pie was jumping back and forth, then asked them:

"Can we go to the party now?" she asked excitedly.

"Of course, Cotton Candy!" announced Sombra, and the group headed off to the Coronation Party

After a few days, Thanatos (the new name for Death, which he chose) set off alone with a map to Gartauria, but before he left, he received a letter from Celestia and Luna and a small gift they wanted him to give to Tirek and his parents.

The letter contains all the events that have happened since they last left Equestria that they have a right to know about. Including the release of Scorpan.

Other contents of the letter confirm their friendship with Death and Death's mission.

So he comes to Gartauria with no malicious intent.

And the gift is an ornate object that they wish to offer them as a token of their friendship, in the hope that they will visit Equestria at some point.

After receiving the letter and the gift, he said goodbye to his friends, who wished him good luck, and set off on his journey.

The biggest event of Sombra's life has finally arrived.

Indeed. Today is the day that will seal the lives of the Shining Sea and Sombra. The day they've been waiting for since Sombra proposed.

This is the day they will be married.

For the past week and a half, Sombra and Shining Sea have been planning the wedding with the help of friends and family.

The wedding will take place at 12 pm in a building of the Crystal Empire, where wedding ceremonies are usually held.

The windows and the large door of the hall were all decorated with ornate ribbons and white roses.

From the largest window in the hall (which is flush with the door)

2 metres from the altar in front of which Sombra and Shining Armour were standing.

When the guests arrived for the wedding, they all brought gifts, placed them on a table set up and took their seats.

On one side sat Shining Sea's daughter Bright Spark, her mother Ocean Pearl, Shining Sea's sister Briny Glitter, her relatives, family and friends.

On the other side sat Sombra's friends and members of her royal family.

Everyone was excitedly waiting for the wedding.

But Sombra was the most excited of them all. She kept pacing back and forth in her nervousness, while her best friend Shining Armour tried to calm her down.

After he had calmed down with great difficulty and stopped pacing, he was soon distracted by the cries of Valance, who was sitting on the backmost chairs while his wife Aurablossom tried to calm him down.

Sombra asked Shining Armour what he thought was wrong with his father-in-law.

Shining explained that, according to Aurablossom's story, Valance was sensitive about wedding ceremonies.

At 2 minutes after noon, however, the crowd noticed that Shining Sea was not yet here.

Sombra started to get a little nervous about this.

"I wonder where they are so far?" asked Sombra in a whisper, a little tense.

"Calm down Sombra, he will be here soon." reassured his buddy Shining Armour- "Hm, I wonder where he is, though! If he doesn't come soon, Ponys will think that you and I are..."

But before Shining Armour had finished his strange speech, (wink) the wedding music was played, and the choir started playing in the back, under the direction of the conductor.

At the sound of the music, Sombra and Shining Armour finally turned their heads towards the door.

The music signaled that the bride was coming.

Soon after, while the birds sang, the guards used their magic to open the double door. Once the door was opened, the bridesmaids stepped out, tossing their petals back and forth as they moved down the aisle. Once the bridesmaids were halfway down the aisle, everyone rose as the bride did,

Shining Sea entered the room, then stepped onto the red carpet towards the altar as her father, Flash Glitter, walked beside her.

Sining Sea looked more radiant than ever.

Her blue, shimmering hair glistened as never before in the sunlight streaming in through the window.

Her dress was undoubtedly Rarity's masterpiece, made of the same colours as Shining Sea's mane.

Meanwhile, Bright Spark and Briny Glitter started to smile, while Sining Sea's mother Ocean pearl shed tears of joy.

She was so happy to see her daughter remarried to someone, especially to such a brave and kind man.

Shining Sea's eyes got a little teary as she swept over Sombra. He was wearing a black suit with red elements - to match his eyes.

Sombra's trademark smile appeared on his face as we locked eyes. His dark red eyes, misty and soft, were the eyes he loved to see. Soon he would see them every day.

When Shining Sea came to the altar a few seconds later, her father escorted his daughter to Sombra, and then he and Shining Armour sat down. After a few seconds, Princess Celestia cleared her throat and began her speech.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we are gathered here today to celebrate the marriage of Sombra and Shining Sea.

Never before in the history of Equestria has such a strong and pure love blossomed in the midst of a terrible war. These two have proven how strong their love for each other is."

Celestia smiled as she continued.

"Sombra and Shining Sea. The strength of their commitment is clear. The strength of their love is undeniable. "

Princess Celestia turned to the couple after a breathless pause. She spoke first to Sombra.

"So, before all those gathered here, I ask you, Sombra, do you lawfully take Shining Sea to be your wife, to live together in sickness and health until death do you part?"

"Of course I do!" -Sombra declared, smiling gently at his future wife.

Then Celestia turned to Sea and asked her.

"And do you, Shining Sea, take Sombra to be your lawful wedded husband, to live together in sickness and health until death do you part?"

"Yes!" - Sea said with tears in her eyes.

Meanwhile, Luna began to float down to the bride-to-be a small red cushion decorated with gold studs, on which were placed the two wedding rings.

When the cushion had reached its destination, Celestia waved Sombra and Shining Sea's wedding ring and placed it on their horns.

"Then I now proudly declare, by the power vested in me, that from this day forth, Sombra and Shining Sea, you are married! Kiss each other! "

Celestia proudly declared, and then the newlyweds looked at each other and kissed.

The moment their lips met, they felt like they could stay there forever, just Sombra and Sea. Sea and Sombra.

Meanwhile, the audience was clapping louder than ever!

After a long kiss, they finally ended the kiss and turned to the crowd.

A big grin appeared on their faces. They were happy to finally be officially husband and wife.

It was the best day of Sombra's life. He couldn't wait to live with his wife Shining Sea and their daughter Bright Spark.

A family she had waited so long for!

2 days later, Sombra and Shining Sea are waiting for the train at the Crystal Empire train station to leave for their 2-week honeymoon, while chatting with Cadance, Shining Armour, and their daughter Bright Spark.

Beside them were two large suitcases and several smaller ones.

"Are you sure you don't mind taking care of Bright Spark?" asked Sombra, "If I'm not available, then..."

"Relax buddy, we'll handle the kid."-Shining Armour said, then patted the top of Spark's head, which made him giggle.

"So you guys have fun and enjoy yourselves." finished Cadance.

"Thank you Princess Cadance and Prince Armour," Shining Sea said sweetly as she snuggled up to her husband.

"Sea, we already told you that you don't have to call us that, you and Bright Spark are already royalty." -said Cadance after shaking her head, -"you're acting just like Sombra used to!"

"I'm sorry, I'm just still having a hard time getting used to the fact that my new social title is now Queen!"-Shinig Sea said

"You'll get used to it in time, my dear Star!" -said Sombra to her, smiling gently at her

Half a minute later, the train arrived at the station.

"Time to go!" announced Shining Armour to his best friend.

This was followed by a quick pat between Sombra and Shining Armour, while a farewell hug took place between Cadance and Shining Sea.

Then a goodbye hug between Shining Armour and Shining Sea, while a goodbye hug also took place between Sombra and Cadane.

Before they got on the train, Bright Spark jumped on and a goodbye hug took place between them.

As the new family hugged, Cadance called out to her husband.

"What a wonderful family! Isn't it, Shiny?"

He nodded silently.

When their hug was over, Sombra leaned down to give Spark a parting nudge on the nose as she uttered the now iconic word: Boop.

After the nose bump, Sea and Sombra boarded the train and sat down in front of the window.

Once the train had departed, the honeymooning couple waved one last time to their friends and daughter.

Then they poked their heads back out the carriage window.

After an emotional stare, they kissed.

Among them will be some stories that will be adaptations of episodes from the original series.

But there will also be some that will be original.
