Spike Goes To Dentist

It all start in Ponyville where Twilight's castle, Spike has finished doing all the castle chores that Twilight told him to clean every places he goes. "Okay, let's see... bed rooms check, bath rooms check, hallways check, kitchen check, closets check, and library... definitely check." He said while marking the cleaning list on his paper. "Phew that's everything, now I can finally relax myself and continue reading my power pony comic book where I left off, but first I gotta need some lunch." The baby dragon headed to the kitchen because he was hungry when his stomach is growling.

As soon as he arrived in the kitchen, Spike was thinking of having a sandwich for lunch and it's a good idea from the start. So he grabs a bag full of breads, peanut butter, and finally... gem treats. He's finished putting them all together, Spike is now ready to chow down, and it looks really tasty too.

"Oh how I love you peanut butter crystal sandwich, but i have to eat you now." He said when he is about to take a whole bite. Until suddenly...

*CRUNCH*

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" He shouted way louder in pain, the entire world hears an echoing scream a miles away from here.

"Spike what's wrong, are you okay?!" Twilight said in worry when she immediately comes to check if he's hurt or worse. However, she sees the baby dragon crying in pain on the floor rolling left and right while holding his mouth. Twilight Sparkle had to stop him by using a magic from her horn, lifting him up and pull towards her. "Spike, stop squirming and tell me what's the matter."

"I... I was about... eat my crystal sandwich... but my mouth is in pain." Spike barely said in pain and sobbing.

"Really, then open your mouth so I can see." She said while the baby dragon opened his mouth wide. Twilight Sparkle looked around the inside to find the source of Spike's pain, until she found one yellow tooth with many holes on the left. "It looks as though you have a bad tooth, no wonder why you're in pain that much."

"So can you fix it your magic, I'm sure you can do that." Spike said while Twilight putting him down.

"I wish I could, but fixing the body parts with magic is not the best of options." Twilight said to explain. "So, I know a place that can help you, i taking you to dentist."

Hearing a word coming out from Twilight's mouth makes the baby dragon eyes widened in panic. "Oh hey my mouth is feeling much better now, so I guess I should be going." Spike said to fake the act while walk away. Until suddenly, Twilight Sparkle stopped him by putting her hoof on his shoulder.

"Not so fast Spike, there's no way I'm letting you off with your bad tooth that easily. We're going to the dentist today, whether you like it or not." Twilight said.

"I'm thinking... not!" Spike said when he starts to run away.

The chase was on, Twilight Sparkle is going after Spike when she fly and teleport to catch him anywhere he goes. "Give it up Spike, you can't run away from me forever no matter where you go." Twilight said while still chasing him.

"I like to see you try." Spike said while he still running away. Until suddenly, Twilight Sparkle have managed to caught him by surprise by using her magic.

Outside of Ponyville, everypony seeing Twilight Sparkle dragged Spike really hard because his claws were on the ground making a longest trail of claw marks. "Come on... Spike, it's not... bad as it looks, I'm... only doing... this for your... own good." She barely said while dragging the baby dragon by pulling his tail by using her magic.

"I'm begging you Twi, please don't take me there." Spike begged her, but she refuses.

"We are going to the dentist and that's final." She said.

On the otherside, Applejack was pulling a cart full of apples in barrel, doing all the work for the farm, until she sees Twilight dragging Spike. "What in tarnation?" Applejack said in confusion, but curious to know what they're doing. So, she decided to checking on them by walking towards them. "Howdy Twi, why you dragging Spike like he's a little cattle in the Rodeo?"

"Hey Applejack... I was about... to take Spike... to dentist... to get his... bad tooth removed... but he's just being... a little chicken." Twilight barely answered while holding on.

"Hehehe, I know how that is. Big Mac and I used to take Applebloom to that place to get her teeth fix... of course she refuses and it took us five hours to catch that filly all over the house like crazy." Applejack said when she remembered that day which makes her laugh a little, but not amused about the last part.

"Really... then it also took me... seven hours... to catch him too." Twilight Sparkle said, but she's started to get exhausted holding the baby dragon. Until suddenly, Spike is break free from her magic and starts to run away as fast as he can which makes a purple alicorn get upset. "Spike, get your dragon tail back here right now!"

"Hold on there sugarcube, allow me." Applejack said when she's assisted to go after Spike. While she's chasing him, Applejack pulling out her rope to spin the circle and then throwing it towards him. The baby dragon is now been tied up by the hoof of an apple farmer which he has underestimated her, knowing that Applejack never misses. "Got you now partner."

"Who's side are you on A.J?" Spike asked in complain while trying to get the rope off him.

"Hers." Applejack answered. "Now listen here Spike, I get it how you scared, but that doesn't mean it'll hurt you. If you don't get that tooth removed, then you're gonna have the worst painfully infected tooth for the rest of your life, isn't that what you wanted?"

The baby dragon was thinking about what Applejack was telling him, until he sigh with regret and defeat like he's not going to win. "Okay... fine I'm going." He said.

"Thank you Applejack, I really owe you one." Twilight gratefully said to her.

"Nah it was nothing Twi, I only gave him an honestly." She said. "Well, gotta go now, I have some work to do back at Sweet Apple Acres, see you later."

"Okay see you, and thanks again." Twilight said while the two of them waving each other. Now she turns her attention to Spike. "Let's go Spike."

"Okay, okay." Spike said while they now continues ahead to the Dentist, but not amused to it.

Twilight and Spike has already arrived at the Dentist inside, sitting on chairs to waiting for the nurse to call out Spike's name, but they're not the only ones in this place. There are most few everypony on each seats also waited to be called, seeing them taking a short nap, reading magazines and comics, and chatting each other.

"How long is this going to take, I'm bored." Spike complained when he slide down the chair slowly.

"Spike, it's only been eight minutes since we got here, so relax and wait." Twilight said to stop him from complaining. But suddenly, they see a nurse came out to the door and letting patient out.

"Okay, Spike the Dragon, you're next." A nurse said to call out his name, until Twilight and Spike standing up and headed towards the door where the nurse is.

As soon as they got in, Spike is on the search where he's gonna get tooth removed and Twilight is sitting next to him. But suddenly, the baby dragon is still scared when he's all shivering and sweating all over his body. "Twilight, I don't know about if I can do this, I feel like I'm gonna throw up." He said when he thinks.

"Don't worry Spike, I am always with you the whole time whenever you're nervous." Twilight said to make comforted the baby dragon.

"Me nervous, yeah right." He said when he changes his mood that makes Twilight rolled her eyes, until they hear a door open which appears to be an old stallion with mustache, glasses, white sparkly tooth cutie mark who is the doctor of this Dentist, starting to introduce himself.

"Hello there, my name is Doctor Clean Teeth and you must be the next patient. so tell me, what seems to be an issue?" He asked.

"Hello Doctor, Spike has a bad case of infected tooth which is causing him to hurt ever since he took a bite of his sandwich." Twilight Sparkle answered to explaining him

"Is that so, okay little fella, open your mouth wide." Doctor Clean Teeth said to Spike to open his mouth. As soon as the baby dragon opened it, the doctor had look around on the inside to find a bad tooth until now. "Ah, so there's that little trouble maker."

"So do you think you can remove it?" She asked.

"I've helped everypony fixing up their teeth in my time, but this is the first time to help the dragon. So, I'll give it a shot." Doctor Clean Teeth said when he accept to help the baby dragon removing his bad tooth. "But first, I gonna have to numb his mouth."

"Wait, did you say 'numb my mouth'?" Spike asked in confusion, until he realized the doctor pulled out a needle what shocked him the most he feared. "Uh oh."

"Oh don't be afraid, this won't hurt a bit once I injected it." He said while tapping a needle to let the bubble flowing up and spray it out. Spike knew that this is gonna happen right now. The doctor is sitting next to him to prepare to inject his mouth. "Okay Spike, here I go." The baby dragon sees the needle is getting slowly and closer toward the bottom of his mouth where the doctor would pierce it. The sweats dripping down his face and hearing sound of his own heart beat, until Spike has fainted into deep unconscious, causing Twilight and the doctor to notice. "Oh my."

"Spike, Spike? Oh no, he passed out." Twilight said when she's checking on him. "I am deeply sorry for that."

"Oh not to worry about it, it happens to everypony to have their first time here, even little children." Doctor Clean Teeth said. "Now that he's unconscious, he won't be feeling any pain once I get started."

....

Spike's eyes is starting to open, waking up on Twilight's back while she's walks straight to their home. "Finally awake I see, it only took you long enough." She said.

"I had this dream that I have a bad tooth it hurts really bad, and you were gonna take to the Dentist and then there was a scary sharp needle that is about to poke my mouth." Spike said when he yawn, while rubbing his eyes and talking about his dream. But it's disappointed that it wasn't a dream he'd hoped.

"Actually Spike, it wasn't a dream, it already happened a couple of hours ago, take a look at your mouth." Twilight said while she appeared a mirror with magic to let him see his mouth.

Spike was shocked to see his bad tooth is somehow gone. "Woah, my tooth is gone, that doctor really pulled it out and... I feel no pain." Spike said in surprised while he licked his gum part between his teeth.

"So tell me, do you think the Dentist is scary enough now, is it?" Twilight asked with a smile and raise one eyebrow.

"Well... I guess it wasn't that bad, maybe it was for the best to get it off." Spike sigh to admitted while he rubbing his head from behind.

"I knew I could count on you Spike, let's head back home to have some dinner." Twilight said when she likes to hear every words the baby dragon.

"Awesome, I could really have some gems once we get back because I'm starving." Spike excitedly said.

"I don't think so, doctor Clean Teeth specifically told that you should only eat soft food and brush your teeth after that in about five days." Twilight said to giving Spike the introduction for his gum.

"Aaawww." And so, Spike is finally relieved of his mouth now that the infected tooth is gone. most part he doesn't like eating soft food for five days until his gum is healed and waiting to grow a new tooth. But he hoped it doesn't happen next time... kinda.
