Basic Use Functions of the P3G-SUSpensor Mana-Charged Wing Brace
Pre-Use Checks
This brace is designed to work in tandem with standard wing splints. The brace will not work with full or partial wing casts. If you have wing casts, do not attempt to use the brace. Use of the brace by unauthorized users will void your warranty and could lead to further injury.
Pending clearance by your medical provider, continue to Assembly.
Assembly:
Reference Appendix A for visual aids
- Extend wing brace to its full length
- Locate mana battery tubes above shoulder harnesses
- Insert one (1) standard mana battery into each battery tube. Make sure the battery contact node is facing out
- Close battery tubes. Turn screw on top of battery tube until tight
Note: Mana batteries weigh approximately 2.4 pounds. This excess weight will impact your optimal angles of takeoff/landing/gliding.
5. Remove mana-conductive wire from packaging. Inspect wire for tearing or damage. If wire is damaged, return to P3G Systems. Do not attempt to fly with damaged wire
6. Attach wire at base of left battery tube
7. Thread wire through wire-protecting shell to right battery tube
8. Attach to right battery tube. No slack should be present. Wire is elastic
Note: Steps 9-11 can be skipped if your medical provider has already provided you with a vial of your blood
9. Remove ritual pin from box
10. Heat pin over flame to disinfect
a. If religious, say prayer
11. Pierce frog on right hoof
12. Spread blood on center brace frame where wing frames meet. Frame will glow red. Do not touch the frame until glowing subsides
13. Adjust harness straps to preference
Activation:
Reference Appendix B for visual aids of the Control Panel.
Brace controls are located above the left shoulder, next to the left mana battery. Activation procedure is as follows:
- Press and hold Mana Activation Button (MAB) for three seconds. Mana batteries will begin to glow
- Press Distribution Button (DB) for three seconds. Mana will flow across the length of the brace. You will feel this as a pleasant tingle. If tingle becomes unpleasant, hold Kill Switch (K!) and contact P3G Systems. Reminder: pressing Kill Switch will eject wing brace from harness straps. Be considerate of those below you when making emergency ejections
- Flex wings in a 360 degree rotation to ensure brace is not pinching or obstructing movement
Flight:
- Go With Your Gut! Every flyer is different; therefore, every flight experience will be different. Take time to practice with your wing brace. Start slow. Be safe!
