The cut of the wind can be heard as Ocellus missed her target; the pegasi vanished in front of her.

She calmly tried to search for the pegasi knight and would eventually see her above.

She reminded her of Rainbow Dash.

" Teache–!?" before she could finish her sentence. The mare vanished once again.

She tried to hide back into the shadow as quickly as she could, but her hoof holding the scythe was nicked, and she dropped her weapon.

She hid and began planning her actions. But her underlings alarmed her about something dripping from her chest.

" Lady Ocellus, your chest, it's bleeding!"

She was stunned for a moment and began checking herself; it wasn't deep.

" I'll live. For the mean time, follow them and report to the base. Do not lose sight of those ponies."

Meanwhile, when Treasure was about to loot the scythe, Bluebell dashed towards the scythe and grab-hugged it, piercing a bit of her skin and blood flowing out from the process.

" I CALL DIBS!" She snuggled the scythe.

" Holy shit that looks painful! What the hells wrong with you, lady? I would've given it to you if you just asked." Treasure reacted to her actions.

" Lies! I can see it in your face. This is mine!"

Treasure would give her a disappointed look before letting her be.

" Tsk, heal her up Cross, before she gets infected."

Tapper would close in as well, curious about the scythe.
" Hmm... I think this weapon is poisonous..."

" I know, right!? Isn't it cool? I just noticed it too with my detection skill, and I just had to have it! Hihi," she giggled joyously.

" Holy shit then why'd you have to get yourself poisoned!?" Treasure yelled, but it was too late as Bluebell had already fallen unconscious.

Everyone stared at her in disbelief.

" I ain't carrying her," Treasure quickly replied.

" Not me." Everyone chimed in.

" Cross, she's your responsibility," the soft-spoken knight said to him while carrying the first knight at her back.

" Quickly, before the bug comes back with a backup."

________

Ocellus was able to reach their headquarters, but it would take her until night. It seems her wounds were actually deep; she underestimated the cut on her chest. Even though she was able to bandage her wounds, blood would still permeate and drip from her bandage.

As soon as she entered. The cat that welcomed those who entered the Lord's tent was shocked.

" Quickly! Aid our lady!"

Ocellus would stop her.

" It's fine; my treatment can wait."

She hurriedly went to her lord and bowed.

Gallus was busy eating with his wives and would just notice Ocellus when she bowed down to him.

" Why do you always leave me, Ocellus, once you're done with me? Do you only think of me as food?" He jests.

Soon he'd noticed what happened to her.
He quickly stood up and was about to rush towards her. But she stopped him, so she could continue her report.

" I have found them, my lord; I was supposed to give you a gift, but it seems I underestimated them. Silver Stream's defeat was no fluke; now I see this. I have ordered my scouts to follow them. Shall we give chase my lord?"

" No, we wait for Smolder's reading, then we make our move. We move carefully this time." He then carried Ocellus and delivered her to the medic's tent himself.

" You'll need to rest. I will be needing you once we begin our plans."

" Yes, my lord."

He left and quickly went to the center of the ruined village, where Smolder read the stars.

There floating in the sky directly below the moon; Smolder, who was surrounded by the stars, aiding in her concentration.

" We're lucky she didn't die, Gallus."

" Indeed."

" Should you be here?"

" That depends on the stars," Gallus mocked.

" Good."

Two stars began to shine ominously.

" The stars of harmony, which were once dim, now shine brightly. This is not what I seek... But why?" Smolder questioned her divining.

Gallus has no knowledge of which she speaks, which just made him more confused.

"Your readings are always accurate, is it not? Don't tell me you've aged Smolder?"

" This is no laughing matter, bird."
She descended from the sky and looked at the stars again.

" Perhaps... We must meet these ponies to know more about the truth."

" So I have wasted my time just to hear you have nothing for me?"

" We are all alive, are we not?"

Gallus sighs heavily and is displeased—infuriated, to say the least.

" Then I believe the stars wish us to wait?" He stared.

" Tsk, you're always impatient." She began to grab him and forcefully drag him to a building.

" Come."

____________

Before night would fall, the knights were able to find a cave for them to rest in; Bluebell was fine, and The First Knight was able to wake.

"... Did we win?" were his first words as he saw her lover's face.

"Yes, we did," she replied.

" If you consider killing everyone and burning down the village, yes," Tapper butted in.

The soft-spoken knight would glare at him, and this was enough for Tapper to quickly shut up.

The soft-spoken knight and the others began telling him the situation they're in.

"My princess... we have failed you," the knight said, saddened.

" We don't know that yet!" The soft spoken knight encouraged him.

She then turns to everyone.

" As promised, I will give my name."

She then closed up on the first knight and gave her a deep, meaningful kiss.

"My name is Bubbles." She then gave a genuine smile towards the first knight.

The knight was a bit stunned, before he could reply,

" My name... It's Bright."
The two hugged each other. It was a joyous occasion for both of them.

Everyone began introducing each other to him, and the cave became lively as they continued to chatter and get to know each other.
But one question that Apple asked stuck out the most to them.

" Masters, I have been meaning to ask and question about your being. You all were killed at one point, yes? Brought out of your sleep and now once more roam among the living? Then are you not undead?"

Everyone looked at each other. Some pondered, and the rest would nod their heads.

"Then why do you not perish from holy magic like healing?"

"Probably by Princess Twilight's holy magic," Bright answered.

" Umm... Princess Midnight Sparkle has shunned white magic. She can summon our shadows and control the bodies of the fallen; I've seen her used that once to turn the tide against the invasion of Equestria," Bluebell answered.

" Say what!? Why are we just hearing this now?" Quilt screamed in disbelief.

"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to hide it; I didn't even know you wanted to know about it."

"Tell us everything!"

"I-i... I don't know what to tell you! Can you be more specific? I can't think straight when I'm stressed!" Bluebell panicked.

"Hey, stop picking on her!" Cross shielded Bluebell.

In return, she'd cling to Cross as tightly as she could and flip a tongue on Quilt.

Cross struggles to breathe.

" Then.... Who resurrected us?" Treasure asked.

" Surely not dark magic, or else we would not be healed." Cross struggled to get a word in.

" Bluebell, you can use detection magic, right? What do you see?" Bright asked.

" All I see is white essence shooting up in the sky, whenever I look into us."

" I guess we'll get our answers once we're back in Canterlot," Quilt announced.

" What's left of it, that is." Tapper added.
