Heart Souls: The Loss of Harmony

The spear of lightning struck the soils of Dodge City, ready to strike the flamed ponies in front of it, waiting for its master to be picked up.

Gallus stands in front of Bright and Bubbles, waiting for them to make their move. And on his 1 are three of his weapons: Smolder, Lightning Dust, and Misty Breeze.

On the opposite side, two flamed knights challenge them.

Bubbles would whistle in amusement.
" Wow he brought three this time, and he didn't speak first; he must be serious now." Bubbles mocked the warlord, who still remained silent and stood firm.

The two ponies looked at each other and wondered. "Well, this is new," Bubbles questioned.

This time Bright would join in on the conversation, not to chime in on the mockery, but perhaps to get some answers from them.

" General Gallus—"—"It's Warlord, you peace of Dung." Gallus interrupted Bright and took his spear, ready to fight.

" Hmm..." Bright was stomped and could only be ready for a fight.

Both sides would size up one another before they clash. Bright would remember the scholar of their school. Smolder, who reads the stars. She was highly praised by Starlight Glimmer, a top student.

" Bubbles, I believe we will get our answers with her. If we must spare someone, it would be her."

"Lady Smolder? Hmm. I never liked her. But yes, I'll keep that in mind."

The two readied their swords.

Gallus starts to raise his spear, and the clouds begin to follow its command. The rest of the weapons would pan out, attempting to surround the flamed ponies.

Bubbles would charge towards Gallus in an attempt to stop him first, but would be quickly intercepted by Lightning Dust.

" What's the rush, honey?"

" I have no time for a reject like you."

Bubbles began to glow of bright purple and began to heat up. She then grabbed Lightning Dust so she would not get away.

"Trash like you should be burned."
Bubbles explodes into flames, catching Lightning Dust off guard and taking the full blow.

Gallus's side was taken aback by the explosion, which gave Bright the chance to go up close to Misty Breeze.

Misty Breeze was able to flame up, block Bright's surprise attack, and hold him off.

" Underestimated you did, little pony." She began burning brightly and intensified her flames, which caused Bright to flinch.

With that, Smolder took the opening and readied to swipe her axe towards him. But his flinch was a fake. The flame didn't bother him at all.

He parried the axe to a point where it would hit Misty Breeze. This forced Misty to dodge Smolder's heavy swing, not giving her enough time to parry Bright's blade.

Slash!

Her head, gone.

Bright was successful at decapitating the Kirin's head, but at what cost?

Before the blood would land and stain the ground. Gallus's spear was already aimed at Bright's head, inches away from piercing through.

He sees Gallus's resolve to kill him. But his resolve will not be met, as Bubbles would not allow it to happen.

Gallus was caught unaware as the mare lunges out from the smoke the explosion produced. Her blade pierced his side and pushed him off, causing the spear to miss Bright by an inch.

Smolder tried to follow up on her attack, but it was too late, and Bright was able to dodge.

Bright and Bubbles backed away and collected themselves. They have the time to be patient in this fight, as it seems that they are at an advantage.

Smolder, angered, but sees she is not in a situation to be careless around these ponies.

Gallus stands injured and bleeding, while a headless kirin stands, and a burned-down pegasi quickly regenerating from its burned-down corpse.

" As expected, they aren't normal." Bubbles sighed and scowled.

"Well, we aren't either," Bright added.

" We shouldn't wait for them to get their bearings back," Bubbles suggested.

And Bright agrees; they don't want to lose the opportunity they made and need to press on.

He noticed that Gallus was not regenerating and continued to bleed.

" We deal with the weak one first; the bleeding one," Bright whispered to Bubbles.

Bubbles would dash towards Lightning Dust, grabbing her and skidding her body to the ground like an eraser, but she's the one who's getting erased.

Bright would kick the Kirin's head before it had the chance to grab it and slice off one of her legs, toppling the giant kirin.

Smolder would not let this continue, as he tried to swat Bright with her axe.

" You dishonorable dirth!"

Woosh! She missed.

" You were always a hot head, Smolder; you never learned to control that temper of yours." Bright mocked the dragon while throwing knives at her.

She was able to block some of it, but one would hit her shoulder. It wasn't enough to phase her, but enough to distract her.

This was his chance to go after Gallus.

Stab!

But it was not his turn.

He looked at his stomach, and there, the spear of the warlord pierced his stomach.

Without even batting an eye, he quickly grabbed the spear and shoved it in deeper, forcing Gallus to go close to him and slamming at his back.

"FRY, CHICKEN!"

He released his full essence and began burning brightly. Gallus was forced to abandon his spear, but it was enough to badly burn him.

" You peace of sh*t!" He screamed.

Bright, on the other hand, could not hold his balance and would take a knee. He'd then forcefully remove the spear and try to regenerate, but he has depleted his essence quite a lot and is now losing conscience.

Smolder closed in on the pony to deliver the final blow. But Bubbles was once again in time to ram against Smolder, knocking her down to the floor.

"Bright! Bright!, damnit." She'd grab a hold of him and was about to fly away, but Bright would stop her.

" Finish the job."

She grabbed the spear and stabbed it in Smolder's tail.

" AAAA!!!" She screamed in pain.

She then zoomed towards Gallus, slamming through him and eventually exploding into many peaces.

There, the bloody mare stands victorious.
