A stallion wakes up, covered in dirt and soot, confused; unaware of what happened to him.

" Good morning, Sugarcube," a soft-spoken mare whispered behind his ears.

The shock and terror from last night came and hit him like a truck.

He quickly rolled away from her and faced her to fight her off.

But the mare stayed put and looked at his beloved.

" Whats with that reaction of yours?" she asked.

" You! Wha-what kind of mind fuck did you put me into!?" The stallion questioned the mare.

" You wanted to know what happened to me, right? So I gave it to you; I shared the pain I had, and now I'm freed from it thanks to you," she answered.

To Bright, whatever she said made no sense. But perhaps it must have something to do with Starlight Glimmer.

" What do you mean!?" The stallion would not finish as his lips would be shushed by Bubble's hooves.

He'd try to run away from her, but she'd instantly grab him at the waist.

" Now that I want you close by, you reject me? You can be a cruel sadist sometimes." She grinned in an evil way again, as if she had plans in mind for him.

This would send shivers down Bright's back.

What have I done?

Luckily, he was saved by Quilt, who came over to call them for breakfast.

" Hey, you two! Enough with your horsing around! We need to eat and get a move on."

" That can wait." She told her off and continued to move forward.

But this time, Quilt had to butt in.

" I'm sorry, but he really needs a time out."

Bubbles would glare at her, but she'd remember the torment she went through because of her. Disgraced and stabbed at the stake.

She shivers ever so slightly. " Yes. Forgive me... Perhaps a meal is needed."

She'd stop on her assault and lift Bright up.

He was easily lifted up, and his butt hole seems to be cramped up. " Ouch my back.

Bubbles would slap his butt and wink at him before heading out first.

" Quilt... What did she do to my butt?" He worriedly asked.

" I don't even wanna know, let alone look at it. You're on your own." She looked away and hurriedly left.

Bright would try to catch up and plead to check his ass. " You don't want your brother to look bad now, would you!?"

The reunion was supposed to be a joyful moment, but everything got weird that night.

So now they're circled around the burned-out campfire, wondering who would break this awkward silence.

Treasure, Cross, and Tapper would just look and glance towards Bright, but he felt a bit conscious about his ass and if the guys knew about it, so he avoided making eye contact for now.

Apple had always been quiet and never tried to strike up a conversation, so their hopes for her to do it were zero.

And Quilt had enough for today.

Everyone was hoping for Bluebell to break this silence, but she was focused on eating up her hay and fruits.

Sooner or later, she'd finish her food. " Oh my gah! Im so full! You always make the best dishes, Tress! Can ya teach Cross?"

" Hey!" Cross did not like that one bit.

" What? Your taste in food is quite mute. A few fruits and variety won't hurt; look at what you're eating." She pointed at her plate and mouth that have only hay in them.

" I-I'm on a diet..." He coughed.

" And here I thought this silence would never be broken; thanks, Blue, and with that I'll grant your request." He gave a nod.

"Thanks, Tress!"

Meanwhile, Cross would just give a displeased face and shrug it off.

" So how bout you two? What made you guys come back? Missed us?" Treasure asked in a snark-ish manner.

" Yes, I did." Bubbles spoke clearly and precisely.

They thought they'd never hear those words come out of her mouth, but they did.

The stallions were stunned to hear this from her; they couldn't believe it.

" Hahaha, good one! I didn't know you were a joker." Tapper laughed.

The others would laugh along, but Bubbles paid no mind and easily shrugged it off.

" I know I've been hardheaded. But I've learned a very hard lesson just recently." She then grabbed a hold of Bright's hooves, which scared the living hell out of him; worried what she'll do next to him while everyone is around.

" You are the only family I have..."

The stallions have that discreet what the fuck is she talking about look on their faces.

While Bluebell was on tears, she jumped on her and gave a hug.

Quilt, on the other hoof, was giving none of her time to them and continued eating.

" Can I call you mom then?" Bluebell asked.

This ticked her off and gave a controlled angry voice to her. " Do I look that old to you?" She hugged her back with greater force.

" Urk elp!" She yelped as she slowly strangled her.

" You can call me big sister instead, right?" she grinned.

" Y-yes Big SIS! D-on-ht kill meh." She taps on her hoof for submission.

"Good." She gleefully released her victim from her clutches.

Bluebell could finally gasp for air and looked at her in fear.

This bitch lied... her thoughts of her as she regrets her words.

The others would just laugh at her predicament, which embarrassed her a bit, and sulk beside Cross, for which she received a pat on the head.

The team got to talk more, and their bond with each other grew, but not enough to remove their doubts from each other.

They've finished their meal and began to clean up. They headed in front of the tree house and made a quick briefing, which Quilt started.

" Okay team, we're here for the element of kindness, Fluttershy. We need that element to free Starlight Glimmer; there's a probability of us not finding her in there, but surely we can find some clues inside her house. So once we enter, we do not split up at any cost, be cautious, and grab as many clues as we can. Am I clear?"

" Everyone saluted and gave a "YES, MA'AM! "

" Then let's go!"
The team is complete and ready for their first mission together.
