Heart Souls: The Loss of Harmony

The knights pranced through the halls that lead to the head mare's office. Fewer students would be seen here, since these halls are usually reserved for the faculty.

Tiara would pause at a specific door that doesn't look that special. The knights wondered why she stopped.

"Well, here we are." She proceeded to knock.

"Wait... This is the head mare's... office?" Quilt asked.

"Yes; it says so on the door," she pointed out. "Why'd you ask?"

Quilts expectations were put in place as she saw how simple her mother's room was. She was embarrassed to think that she thought that her mother would be the type of pony who values status and brags about it. "Oh! Uhm, its nothing, just... curious."

"Hmm..." She'd then continue to knock on the door.

And there, on the other side of the door, a familiar voice can be heard. " Come in."

She proceeded to open the door, and they went and entered.

And there on the other side, Starlight Glimmer sits upon her chair, doing some paper work on her table.

She looks up and sees Diamond Tiara in front of her. "Tiara? It's been long since you last visited, I'm happy to see you again!" She quickly put her pen down and approached her and gave a big hug. " And here i thought you hated me for some reason." She chuckled.

" Of course not, head mare! I was just busy being the mayor, is all." She scratched her head and apologized.

" I was only kidding; I know you've been busy and saw how well Ponyville improved! I'm so proud of you. Yes, we lost a great teacher, but we gained a greater leader; to lead us to a better future. And don't forget you're my boss now." She then proceeds to bow down. " Please take care of us and school from now on, Mayor."

Tiara blushes and imposes not to lower herself to her. "Please, head mare, this is embarrassing. You know how much great respect I have for you. I'd do my finest to not let you down."

The two almost got lost in their own world before Bright intervened on their long-awaited reunion. " Ahmm..."

" Oh! Where are my manners, sorry. Head mare, may I introduce you to the Royal Knights? I believe your expertise is in need for their situation."

" Oh? We haven't met in a while, and you're starting to ask favors on me?" Starlight asked.

" O-of course not, well maybe, but!" Starlight would stop her there and laugh, " I'm only kidding you, Tiara; loosen up a bit or else you won't last long on your job."

"I'll keep that in mind," the flustered pony replied.

Starlight would then put her attention to them. " Royal knights, you say?" She observed them from head to hoof and gave a look of curiosity to them. "Well, I believe you'd need rarity's expertise on their situation. I may not be well on fashion, but even I could tell that they do need a makeover," she answered.

It took a bit of a second before Tiara could process what just happened. " Oh, no! Not that head mare." She face hoofed. " They're from another dimension!"

" Oh, why didn't you say so?" A book then appeared out of nowhere and began turning its pages in front of Starlight.

" Do you know which dimension you are? Star location? Limbo point, time and day?" She bombarded them with questions.

The knights looked at Quilt for answers.
" Why me? Uh, um, uh... No? I mean, we have no idea, mo-'AM! ahm."

Starlight gave a curious look at her and began focusing on the book once more. "I see, this is going to be difficult, as you are one of the dimensions who are not aware of the existence of another dimension then, since you do not know what your dimension is called, correct? And yet you say you do not come from this world? Interesting." She then closed her book, poofing it out of existence.

" Good news and bad news. Bad news, you have no choice but to jump through dimensions to find your own world, and I can't afford doing that or lending one of my students or anyone from my dimension to do that for you. It's that dangerous. Good news, i can teach it to you unicorns."

"Wait, so we're just going to have to go find it? How?" Bright asked.

" That's if you can learn the spell, and yes, you have to find it. That's IF you can find it. Sometimes you think you found it, but it actually just looks the same but not really your world. Those can happen too."

Everyone is confused and lost at this point that they just looked at each other then gave a look at Starlight again for answers.

" There's a zero percent chance you'll find your world."

"... So that's it? We lost? I mean, we lost lost? Well, technically, if we got lost here, it means we lost the fight there, so... We're lost and we lost." Tapper prattled, and Quilt just lightly clobbered him. "Stop that."

" What now?" Bubbles asked.

Everyone was at a loss.

The dread of defeat slowly comes to a realization.

Tiara and Starlight were a bit sad to see them slowly losing hope, but what else can they do?

Diamond Tiara then clapped her hooves hard, which grabbed the attention of the moping ponys.

" Alright everyone! Moping won't get you anywhere! So I suggest if you can't find a solution for your problems, take a pause and do something else! Get back to it when you're all okay and attack it with a different approach! Does that sound like a good plan?" Tiara suggested.

Bubbles would smile and be glad. " Even though you aren't the Diamond Tiara, I know, you're still wise and ever the inspiration to me." She bowed down and gave a " thank you for your guidance."

Bright agrees and gives a bow as well. " Truly wise words. But then another problem remains. What else are we to do?"

" Not a problem!" Tiara stepped up and became the light of hope for them.

" I've been busy with this project of mine and am in need of a lot of helping hooves to start this PROJECT."
