The boar village was preparing a feast for their lord's visit. Troublesome, as they have to feed the army as well.

" My Lord, such blessing, your visit." A boar decorated with colorful feathers and an armor and helmet made of gold.

He raised a claw, which made everyone silent.

" Good. I came seeking ponies made of fire. They were last seen in your forest. Details, now." Gallus commanded.

The boars would wonder and panic about how to answer their lord.
Luckily, a boar with skulls as his decorations answered.

" Lord! Burning horsy, I speak!" He quickly ran in front and bowed down.

" Pony leader burning, scary. But Lord, much scary and strong, hehe."

Gallus was not amused by his flattery, though.

" Hehe, uhm, yes, Boris, continue. Burning pony, crazy. Go to demon castle, kill demon, said. Now cave go through village. North."

Gallus would clap loudly and begin giving orders.

" Alright everyone! You heard the boar! Give this one a bag of gold, eat your fill, and let's go. We have a war to join!"

A western-type village, abandoned. And at its entrance: Welcome to Appleoosa.

" Well, we finally found something familiar." The looter knight spoke.

" Well, what's left of it, that is," someone added.

" Ready yourselves." The first cautioned everyone. But it seems no one listens to him; more likely, two unicorns would escort him wherever he goes.

"Tsk." This irritated the first, as he does not want this. He ended up lashing at the soft-spoken knight, as she tends to follow him as well.

" I do not want special treatment!"

"I don't think so either! Don't think of me as they think of you, knight!" She scolded him.

" Oh, I'm sorry. Please forgive my actions. Perhaps I should sit this one out. I am an earth pony after all; I'll be in trouble if we fought someone with magic. Please lead them."

The soft-spoken knight was a bit angry at the first knight; it can be seen through her helmet. Her eyes were glaring.

He can only look away. Ashamed.

" Fine! But only this once. When I return, I want my knight back," she said to his side, without looking at him.

" Thank you. And I will. Especially by your side."

" Words are cheap." She left and led the rest inside the village.

"Unicorns specializing in defense and detection, at the front!" Still soft but clear and loud. She was able to control the rest, and her orders ran smoothly.

A unicorn began casting detection magic, while two would cast a shield on her.

" I sense them inside the building. They seem to be alive, but they aren't moving too much. Perhaps they have the same fate as the miner we found down the cave?"

"Healer! Do you sense the curse here?" The soft spoken knight commanded.

" Yes! It's- it's everywhere!"

" Distance yourself to the town for now! Healer, can you dispel the curse?"

" Uhhh... maybe." The unicorn closed in slowly and worriedly.

He began touching something in the air and began mumbling.

"I have no idea, but it seems it's not affecting me. Maybe, perhaps all of us are immune to this."

They looked at each other and trusted the healer's judgment.

It seems they were fine.

" The black fog seems to be avoiding us, perhaps it's the..." A loud shot was heard, which caught everyone off guard.

The healer began to curl up in pain and dropped to the ground.

" Defensive position!"

The mages began casting their shields while the rest hid.

Spears and pies would be thrown from the covers of the buildings in an attempt to hit the mages but would just bounce off the shields or splatter.

" Everyone hide! We can't afford to deplete our magic here!"

They all went inside a building and bunkered down.

Meanwhile, the first would hear the shot and take cover as well. The two that decided to escort him followed as well.

Inside the building, the group panicked as the healer continued to bleed.

" How is he?" The soft-spoken knight asked.

"He's bleeding," the detection knight answered.

"Well, stop it then!"

" I don't have healing magic!"

The soft-spoken knight was panicking and didn't know what to do in this situation; she could only give commands in a rush."Well, he does!"

The healer lies unconscious.

"... That won't do, ma'am." One answered

"Damn it! Then cut it off!" She replied

" ... What?" the looter asked.

"If you cut off the part that's bleeding, then he wouldn't be bleeding from it anymore." She explained badly.

"...No!" Everyone rejected her idea.

"...Y-You didn't hear me say that, okay?
T-Then where's the knight who has first aid?"

Everyone looked, but the one who had first aid did not present himself.

" Shit, you take care of him while I take care of the bastard outside." She then rushed outside and presented herself to the sniper. It would only take a second for the sniper to take the bait.

A shot was fired, but it missed its target. The soft-spoken knight elegantly dodged the bullet and swiftly flew towards the sniper with such speed that she pierced through the building, grabbing the sniper by the neck.

Outside, she threatens the sniper she holds up high from the ground.

" Do you know first aid?" she asked.

But the sniper could only bark madly and mumble his words, struggling to get loose from her grasp and fall to his death.

She then stabbed the sniper and absorbed its essence.

"I guess you can't."

BANG!

A loud shot was heard, and the knight's chest was bleeding.

*This enfuriated the knight and focused her anger on killing the one who shot her. She pinpointed the location and dashed towards the sniper. Her speed rivaled a sonic rainboom, obliterating not only the sniper but the whole building, killing everyone inside.

Now rubble and white essence were left on her wake.

Meanwhile, the knights inside the building have no idea what's happening outside. They could only hear the intense battle happening outside.

" Remind me never to cross that mare."

" If so, then we better do what was told."

" You hear that healer! Don't you dare die on us."

They'd begin to panic and try holding the wound so that the blood wouldn't come out. But they just ended up making a mess.

They'd be interrupted as the door that leads outside would open.

The knights readied their swords.

It was the knight who knew first aid.

He looked at the mess. Caused by the knights, blood was everywhere.

" What are you guys doing!?" He questioned their actions.

" Quickly! Help us!"

" We have no idea what we're doing!"

" Well, shit. No kidding." The knight proceeded to apply first aid.

"Hmm, it went through, I see. That's good. Nothing important got hit, so that's good too. He'll be alright." He then bandaged the healer and stopped his bleeding.

" Seriously, has the school not taught you healing magic or first aid?" he asked.

The rest of the knights would look at each other, confused by what he said, but they would heed it with no mind.

Outside, the battle seemed to have stopped since it had been silent for a while.

The first saw everything. The soft-spoken knight fought elegantly and swiftly but met her demise as another sniper shot her.

As she crashed towards the building, the first rushed towards her.

There, she limps and falls to her knees, awaiting her death, as the essence circles around her.

The knight quickly went to her side, grabbing her by the shoulder.

The essence around her would enter from the wounds in her chest and slowly heal her. Soon, she would absorb all of the essence of her victims. It would not fully heal her, but it would be enough to clear her from danger.

" Wake up! Wake up!" He yelled.

Her eyes slowly opened, and she slapped the first knight.

" How dare you stare at my body indecently!"

The knight could only rub his swollen cheeks.

" Seriously, now." She tries to stand up but ends up tripping.

The knight would grab ahold of her.

" You have done enough already."

He then carried her forcefully.

"Seriously, is that how you carry a lady?" she pouted, but would snuggle at him.

He could only say, "Sorry."
