Fluttershy felt like a movie princess as she strode into Canterlot High that Monday morning, singing softly to herself and dancing with enough flourish that she had unintentionally pony upped, but was too caught up in her blissful high to even notice. Fortunately most of the school had grown numb to such events and since the rest of the pinkette's friends weren't running around in costume, it was just a normal day and they stayed out of her way so as to not ruin her mood.

It was a few steps from her locker that her mood was noticed by someone who was up to approaching her. The rainbow haired girl was by her side in moments. "Hello, Rainbow Dash? Isn't it a wonderful morning?"

Rainbow raised a brow slightly and nodded. "It's alright, if you ignore the rumor that Ms. Cheerlie is considering a pop quiz this week. Did you...have a nice weekend?" The confusion was evident in her voice. Fluttershy hadn't contacted any of them all weekend and not even Zephyr Breeze had a clue as to where she was the whole time.

"Oh, I had the most wonderful time!" Fluttershy's cheeks reddened as she placed her hands to them and sighed into a smile. "Rarity's romance novels don't do such moments justice."

The athlete's eyes widened and she quickly grabbed her friend by the shoulders. Before the pinkette could say anything, she was dragged at super speed into a room where her friends, minus Pinkie Pie, were pulled out of a conversation by the pair's sudden arrival.

"Rainbow Dash, darling, you shouldn't go around carrying poor Fluttershy like that. She could get whiplash!" Rarity paused before pulling out a brush from her purse and immediately taking it to said poor friend's hair. "Not to mention not all of us are gifted with hair that doesn't get ruined by those speeds."

"Yeah, Rainbow. What's the big deal?" Sunset asked, raising a brow.

"Fluttershy had a date this weekend!" The rainbow haired girl explained, wildly gesturing towards her now beet red friend.

Rarity gasped, the fashionista pulling the pinkette into a hug. "Oh that's wonderful, darling! Was he a perfect gentleman?"

"Um, a-actually," Fluttershy tried to get out before Rainbow Dash interrupted.

"Apparently he's a creep since she compared him to one of your romance novels." The athlete growled. "When I find this guy-"

"I'm sorry, but what do you mean by that? My romance novels do not feature any creeps, as you say." Rarity said with agitation as she pulled away from Fluttershy.

With a quick dash, Dash was back with a book clearly in a sleeve that said "Property of Rarity" and opened it. "Her large breasts shook softly with each deep gulp of her water bottle. Little drops fell onto her white blouse, revealing that there was no bra between the soft fabric and her even softer skin."

She closed the book and gave a bemused look to her purple haired friend who was no blushing as hard as Fluttershy.

"Oh for...that ain't no romance novel, you dunderhead! That's some smut I bought her for a prank to get back for giving me some frilly underwear in front my whole family on my birthday." Applejack growled, grabbing the book and giving it back to its owner. "Rare's fru-fru romance novels barely get past kissing."

"And you know that why?" Twilight asked, having trouble keeping a small smile off of her face when the farmer started to blush as well.

"I rant to her about plot points that annoy me. She's the only one that is willing to take the time to listen to my whole thought out and very well edited essays before I record them for the Lovestruck Fan Club's discussions." Rarity answered, stuffing the book and hairbrush back into her bag. "Now can we focus on the matter at hand and discuss Fluttershy's new boyfriend?! What's he like? Handsome? Strong? Sophisticated?"

"W-well you s-see," As Fluttershy began to explain, the door to the room was kicked open and a furious Pinkie Pie stood in the door way like a rabid bear.

"FLUTTERSHY, YOU CRADLE SNATCHER!!!" The usually bubbly girl yelled before lunging at her friend only to be caught by Applejack. "Let me go! The harlot must pay!"

"What are you talking about?!" Sunset asked only to get a growl in return. "Twi, emergency coco munchies, now!"

"On it!" Twilight said, pulling a box of said treats of her bag, applying a lipstick stain via a quick kiss and tossing it at the raging Pinkie only for it to land in her hair instead of catching it.

"Sweets and romantic gestures will not quell my sisterly fury!" She paused for a moment before taking the box out of her head, kissing the marked spot and eating the treats in two seconds flat. "I'm still going to make Fluttershy pay for taking advantage of my baby sister!"

"Now hold your horses. You honestly think that Fluttershy, sweet, shy and kind almost to a fault, Fluttershy would take advantage of anyone, let alone the sister of one of her best friends?" Applejack said, only to get a few flailing hands to her face before she gestured to her backpack. "Someone get me my rope, please."

This caused Pinkie to pause to let out an outraged gasp and glare at the girl holding her. "How dare you! I only do that sort of thing with Twi and Sunny and just because I'm poly does not mean I go around doing things with just about anyone!" She returned her glare to Fluttershy who was now hiding behind Rainbow Dash as if the athlete could possibly hide her shaking form. "Unlike some people!"

"That's enough!" Sunset raised her voice and stepped forward to place her hand on Pinkie's shoulder. "Hopefully it isn't too overpopulated by candy this time so we can figure out what is going on."

Pinkie, freshly dressed for school hummed as she skipped to a room that was usually closed whenever anyone was over, but right now it was ajar just a bit. "HEY, MARBLE! How does my favorite baby sister feel about chocolate chip and sprinkle pancakes for breakfa-"

Marble hadn't put on her shirt yet, giving the pinkette full view of scratches on her back, hickeys on her neck, shoulders and right above her hip. The meek girl grabbed her shirt and held it in front of herself with a barely audible scream.

"Where the Hell did you get those?!" Pinkie said, arms out in surprise.

"M-my g-girl...friend..." Marble barely got out before her sister was directly in her face, enticing another scream.

"Since when did you have friends, let alone a girlfriend?! What kind of woman would take advantage of such sweet, innocent youth?!" Pinkie was shaking her sister a bit by the shoulders.

"F-fluttershy isn't l-like tha-"

A sound comparable to a train wreck surrounded by plane crashes and a drunk polka band drowned out the speech given by Marble, growing more animated and happy as she seemed to swoon over..."FLUTTERSHY!!"

Sunset frowned as she pulled her hand back. "Okay, first off, Marble is only a few minutes younger than you, not some child that anyone, let alone Fluttershy is taking out of a cradle against her will. Second, if you paid attention, then you would have noticed how happy Fluttershy clearly makes her."

"T-that! But!" Pinkie let out a frustrated cry and tried once more to break free. "She defiled my sister!"

"No. I made love to the young women that I have been blessed to be in a relationship with and it wasn't even the first time." Fluttershy said stepping forward. "I was especially happy over this weekend because she told me that she was finally ready to let everyone else know about our relationship and meet all of our friends proper before joining me for dinner at my house with my parents. I'm sorry that you found out this way, but that gives you no right to accuse me of doing such horrible things to someone that I love!"

Her bravado quickly shrank away once she realized that everyone had gone dead silent and was staring at her. "Um...too much?"

"You really mean it?" Pinkie finally said, in a calm voice, her rage melting from her expression. "Do you really love her?"

The shy girl softly smiled. "Yes, yes I do."

"Okay." The party planner took a deep breath before smiling. "Honestly I should've been thrilled that Marble is dating someone who understands what life can be like for her. I guess I get a little overprotective sometimes."

"Yeah, trying to kill one of your best friends and needing another one to use super strength to stop you is a bit more than "a little overprotective", Pinkie." Rainbow Dash said with a bemused tone, before letting out a small yelp of pain when Rarity punched her arm. "What was that for?"

"What would you do if you found out Scootaloo was in the same position?" Rarity asked, putting her fist to her hips and tapping her toe in await for an answer.

"Easy. I know the combination to Applejack's gun safe and how to make sure there's no ammo before scaring the daylights out of the brat." Rainbow Dash's triumphant smile was met with groans and Applejack muttering about needing new locks.

Sunset and Twilight helped Pinkie Pie up after she was released, quickly pulling her into a hug.

"Don't feel too bad, Pinkie. I got the same way when I found out Shining was dating Cadence. I was glaring at her so hard that it was giving my dad nightmares just for baring witness." Twilight explained, gently patting her girlfriend's back. "Anything we can do to cheer you up?"

"I could use some cuddles and cupcakes." Pinkie replied, her trademark smile and wide eyes having returned before pecking both girls beside her on the cheek.

"Well it will have to wait until after school." The group froze for a moment before turning to see a rather irritated vice principal Luna. "You're lucky this door was already due to be replaced Ms. Pie, otherwise I would have to report this incident to your parents. Instead I'm leaving you with a warning. Now get to class."

The girls all said their apologies before quickly hurrying off to their classes, leaving the vice principal to let out a tired sigh before a soft chuckle escaped her lips. "If only all sisters learned to stop being so overprotective. Cadence would have a cousin by now."

Author's Note

Just a silly idea that I had after binge watching the EqG holiday stuff. Not sure why. I just thought it would be interesting.

The woes of being a hopeless romantic. I just love Love. I'm sure to write a variety of ship fics over time. All sorts of combinations. Perhaps someday I'll get good enough with all of these characters to write some TwiJack or OctaScratch that a favorite fanfic reader of mine will want to do for her channel. But that is a maybe for another time and place.
