What is this? It’s so quiet in here. There’s nothing to find–just unlimited darkness in this vast space.

There’s something out there. What is going on? Do they know what’s going on?

“*Hic* What the hell does that mean?”
“You know very damn well what I mean. This isn’t the Flash I loved. He wouldn’t have hesitated to help.”
“Well, what do you want me to do if he’s gone?”
“...Throw that thing away…and find better ways to move on.”
“...You know I can’t *Hic*…Because it’s a lot better to be numb to the world than to feel anything else again.”
“...Fine. If you’re not strong enough to quit and to stop being like this, it’s over.”
It’s them again. Why are they here? Are they going to be there the whole time? How long will they be there?
“Okay, going to need lots of toys and blankets. And diapers. And a crib. And baby books, both for me and them…And a new room…And maybe a bigger house. Ugh…*Inhale* I can do this, I can do this. They need me. They deserve a good life…*Exhale* Alright, first order of business: find a better place.”
Things feel weird in here. But it’s not so bad. I think they like it too.
“Ugh. Why? Why do they do this? Why is this a part of the–*Hrrk* Dammit! *BLAURGH* Ugh..”
I wonder what they’re thinking about. I wonder what they sound like. Will they look like me? Do they even know about me? Will they like me?
“Sunset?”
“OH! AJ! Rarity! Nothing is going on here! Heh.”
“Well, why are ya in the baby section, then?”
“Just…getting some gifts for Twilight!”
“But darling, didn’t you already give Twilight those toys back at her baby shower?”
“Uh, I’m getting her new ones! Lil’ Dusky deserves the best from one of her aunts!”
“Sunset, is there something you’re not telling us?”

“Wait a minute. Are ya…?”
“But that’s…You’re not married, right? But that means she and Flash…”
“...*Sigh* Yeah, I’m…n-nine weeks in. He is out of the picture, though.”
“Oh, my goodness. Who else knows?”
“Right now, you two, and maybe him if he realizes this isn’t a joke. I am planning to tell the others the next time we get together.”
“So, you’re planning to keep it? Sunset, do ya even realize how crazy this is? Ya ain’t a baby person–”
“Applejack, maybe let her give a chance to explain.”
“...*Inhale* Yes, I’m well aware of how crazy it sounds. I was freaking out the moment I took the test. And I’m scared that I’ll fail them. But after a while, I kept thinking I could give them a better life than I had. To show unconditional love and a better family. *Sniff* I know that sounds weird, but I want to give it a shot.”
“Oh, darling. It isn’t weird at all. You’re committed to this and we’ve seen how far you’re willing to go with that level of dedication. If this is what you want, I’ll support your decision.”
“Ah will too. Ah’ve seen how this stuff takes a toil on ya, so we’re willing to help ya both.”

Are those noises? Aah, noises are loud! But they aren’t supposed to be, should they? Aaah! What is that?! It’s so bright!

“Sunset?! What’s wrong?!”
“I don’t know what the hell is going on, but there’s something weird happening in there!”
“What do you mean?!”
“Just look! Or feel–just tell me what’s going on!”
“Maybe we should sit down first.”
“*Sigh* Fine.”
“...*Whew* Sunny, you scared me.”
“Huh?!”
“It’s just the baby. They’re moving!”
“W-Wait, that’s…?”
“Yeah! It does feel weird for a while, but you get used to it. They must be saying hi!”

“*Yawn* Hi, Auntie Sunny.”
“Cheesy! Sunny’s baby is moving!”
“Really? Can I say hi to them?”
“If that’s okay with Auntie Sunset.”
“Can I? Please?”
“...*Exhale* Yeah, you can say hi.”
Sunset, or Sunny. Or Mama. She sounds pretty. She talks a lot. Aunties and Uncles are always with her. Friends. That’s what Sunset calls them. They must be friends. What does it mean to have a friend?
Ring Ring Ring *Beep*
“*Yawn* Sunset, it’s one in the morning.”
“How’d you know it was me?”
“What, ya don’t think Ah know the concept of midnight cravings?”
“*Chuckle* I can understand that, but that’s not why I called. *Sniff*
“Sunset…are ya crying?”
“AJ, I-I’m scared.”
“What? What’s wrong? Did something happen?”
“*Sob* N-No, I…D–Do you think I’ll be a terrible parent?”
“No! Ah’ve seen how ya pour ya–self into the research. We’ve all seen how you talk to the baby. Ah’ve seen the same dedication when ya wanted to change your ways.”
“B-but–I don’t..”
“Alright, Ah’m coming over.”
“W-Wait! *Sniff* You don’t–”
“That wasn’t a suggestion. Ah’ll be at your place in 20 minutes.”
Mama found a new home. I think she was happy. Does screaming count as being happy? Mama has a pretty laugh and a beautiful voice.
“~But it’s not about perfection, set off in your direction, shake off the expectations. You’re the true~–Huh?... Heh. You like Mama’s singing, don’t you sunshine?”
