Hell Night/Spike was heading to the music center in his disguise. As he walked, he made sure that nobody would recognize his face. As he walked, he neared the area and saw the security guard at the entrance.

"Why are you here?" The bouncer asked Spike.

"I'm here for the audition." Spike answered.

"Pay up kid." The bouncer said.

Spike did with 3 hundred dollar bills and the bodyguard let him inside. Spike walked in and entered. As he did, he made his way through the halls and saw none other then the famous popstars themselves. PostCrush members K-Lo and Su-Z on the stage.

"Hello everyone! Are you enjoying your day?" Su-Z said to the audition attendees, who cheered in confirmation.

"Well today is your lucky day! We are holding auditions for the lucky person who will not only get to meet us backstage, but also meet two other special guests! The first is a well known popstar and has a large number of hits for the past few years!" K-Lo said also, with a smile.

This made the contestants cheer more, though Spike only looked on in silence. Eventually as some of the auditioners got ready, Spike looked and saw a familiar blonde young man in an white lined and blue colored shirt and blue pants with sunglasses.

"Hey guys and gals! Feather Bangs here in da house!" The handsome young man said.

The female audition members gave looks of surprise and had blushes on their faces at the sight of him.

"Is that?" One auditioner said in surprise.

"it is!" Another confirmed.

Su-Z then announceed "And last but not least the girl you've all been waiting for. The one and only popstar who has a string of hits this year along with several awards. Ladies and gentleman, here is the one, the only, VEROSIKA MAYDAY!

The curtains of the stage had opened and out came a woman in pink clothing and blonde hair with pink streaks. With a pink top and pink skirt with a sash from the back, she also had black high heel boots. She approached the duo and Feather Bangs and took the microphone from Su-Z.

"Hello everybody! Are you all enjoying this night?!" Verosika said

The auditioners cheered while Spike only kept to himself, and as he did, he noticed Verosika give him a look but ignored it for now.

"This year, we are looking for a young superstar that has the fire we are looking for! And today might be your lucky day! Head to the backstage and pick your songs and make sure to properly practice and plan your effects!" Verosika said.

The attenders who were auditioning cheered, with a few males even giving looks of attraction at Verosika. They followed what she said and headed to the stage, getting ready to prepare. Spike did so and began to try and think of a way to get to Feather Bangs, while also blend in without giving himself away. As Spike thought to himself, he was unaware that he was being looked at by a familiar girl in the back.

"Ok, think of a song, think of a song." Spike thought to himself.

As he thought, he saw Feather Bangs heading out somewhere and stealthily followed and did so. As he did, he saw him enter a backroom with a star symbol with his name on it.

Spike hid and made sure not to be seen. After a few minutes, Feather exited, looking back and forth before heading back to the auditioners. Spike stealthily made sure to enter Feather's stage room.

It had plenty of luxury's, a hot tub, a flat screen TV and neon light coated mirrors with a drawer and desk. Spike only gave a look of amusement and explored his room. He looked around for anything incriminating and so far found nothing.

"Geez, what's a guy like him gotta hide so badly in his room." Spike said in annoyance as he searched.

Spike looked at the drawers and searched them. He found a few books and a USB and he said.

"Hello, what do we have here?"

He looked at the book's title: SONGS AND COPIES. He took it and the USB and continued to search. Upon looking at the last drawer, he found a little note saying in red marker.

PostCrush Concert at 11 PM, kill them and take the contract label, get the deal and then get rid of any witnesses

"Looks like the asshole is after them at the concert since he can't risk it here with all those people auditioning. I gotta find a way to get rid of him." Hell Night/Spike said, until there was a knock on the door

"Feather are you in there?!" A voice on the other side asked.

Spike, alarmed at the person at the door, quickly looked for a way out and saw a vent. He grabbed a chair, unscrewed it and entered and made sure to not be discovered....

(Elsewhere)

The Rainbooms were seen at Canterlot High in the halls of the school and were seen heading off in separate directions. With Twilight, Rarity and Sunset, they began to talk.

"So. Anything on Hell Night?" Rarity asked.

"No. Spike may be a prime suspect, but each piece of evidence either leaves another question or contradiction." Twilight answered.

"Not to mention that whoever he is. That only brings out the fact that we keep having to face: Spike is dead." Sunset added.

"Well, maybe when we all go out for patrol we can maybe look for clues that can give us some answers?" Rarity suggested.

The two girls only contemplated this, but realized they had to find a way to get to Hell Night and make sure he is who they think he is.....Spike Sparkle.

With Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie, they were seen in a classroom, which has not started due to the teacher not being present. They began to talk with each other.

"Well, ya'll two do anything today?" Applejack asked.

"Well AJ, Our ex-boyfriends not only were indeed guilty, but now that we know we killed the squirt, I'm regretting even letting Soarin date me, especially since he hurt Spike." Rainbow Dash answered.

"Spike was more of an angel then Sandalwood. I wish I could apologize to him...but he's...y'know." Fluttershy added.

"Don't forget. Hell Night could be Spike, since he sounded liked him and kinda has some traits of his." Pinkie reminded.

"True, but we have to find a way to get him to show his face." Rainbow Dash replied.

The bell rang and they saw more students arrive in the classroom, they looked at each other and mentally decided to talk about Hell Night and Spike later and prepare for class.

(Back with Hell Night/Spike)

At the audition area, there was a number of attendees trying out their songs. Currently right now was one teen girl singing while wearing some punk like attire.

The judges, PostCrush, Feather Bangs and Verosika, all gave looks of surprise at her performance, with Feather saying.

"That was.......amazing!"

"Truly a wild rush! Good job Cherry Crash!" Su-Z complimented.

"Thanks!" Cherry said with acknowledgement, getting off the stage.

Up next came Spike, who came in donning his gothic like attire.

"Name?" K-Lo asked.

"......Drake." Spike answered.

"What song will you be performing for us Mr. Drake?" Feather asked.

"A song cover from one of my favorite bands." Spike answered.

"Well, let's see what you got."

Spike nodded and began to sing the song.

As soon as he started, he secretly used his demon magic to make the stage look as if he himself was walking out of a bright white light, yet he wore all black attire, as he walked forward slowly looking down with a look of downtrodden sadness and determination.

Spike continued to sing and as he did, the judges were a bit surprised at his performance as he sang, especially with the effects he was using. As he used his demonic magic to stop the light, he continued to sing and even add some moves to make it look more interesting.

"Whoa!" Both girls of PostCrush said as he sang.

"Wait....black hair, same face structure, black dyed hair that's combed down? Is this really that Hell Night guy Kiki was talking?" Verosika said in her head as he sang, catching on to his identity of the person one of her posse members told her.

As Spike reached the end of his song, he eventually finished by doing a flip and then landing on his knees and reaching the final note.

The judges were left surprised, even the ones who were attending the audition were left blown away at his performance and began to slowly clap in acknowledgement.

Spike eventually headed to the backstage and sat down to cool himself down a bit.

(A few hours later)

The auditioners were all in the seating area and both PostCrush and Verosika were on the stage and K-Lo took the mic.

"Alright everybody, in a surprising turn of events, we had a really hard time deciding the winner today! But we have come to a stunning conclusion. The winner is none other then...!"

All the attenders gave looks of pressure and anxiety at their answer.

"....The one and only......Drake!" Su-Z answered.

Spike was left surprised at the fact that he was actually the one who won. He said in surprise.

"Uh...me?" Drake/Hell Night/Spike said, a trace of his former self's timidity showing a bit as he pointed at himself.

"Of course you! The way you symbolized the angelic look you did with the look of a devil. The way you sang so much with the emotion and the way you showed those effects of the light of Heaven, it was spectacular!" K-Lo said with a complimenting tone.

Spike only blushed as Verosika strutted over to him, saying with a flirty tone as she batted her eyes a bit.

"And the way you showed those dance moves, that was cool!"

"Um, thanks." Spike said sheepishly.

"Follow us sweetie....~" Verosika said, a small hint of teasing in her voice.

Spike did so and followed her, K-Lo and Su-Z and Feather Bangs to the backstage to their personal quarters.

As they walked, Spike noticed Verosika in particular was eyeing him with a grin, making him uneasy, especially when her pink eyes had flared and twinkled a bit....
