Villages in the remote parts of Crystal Empire have been attacked by a mysterious enemy that left no traces. Flurry Heart, the thirteen-years-old heir to Crystal Empire, wants to help her father in tracking down the attackers. She will have to face dark magic in a strangely familiar city.

Sequel to Flight to Dreadlands, although very indirectly. Reading it is not required, but could explain certain plot points.
