The simple fact that alicorns on an emotional, and in some ways, biological level, must spend time and bond with other alicorns to avoid serious biological consequences, have affected Twilight's life for the better in almost every way. Deeply in love with the other rulers of Equestria, she has found joys in her life that she long denied to herself. However, external forces make her hesitate doing one last thing with her new polycule of lovers, and the necessary secret of her relationship with the three other alicorns starts putting a strain on her.
