A Shimmering Tale

IT'S NOT ME!

Sunset Shimmer shouted at the group of her friends, she could not believe how they were being so stubborn with not trusting her. It boiled her blood as they were putting the blame on her and the fact it was clearly set up to frame her.

"We don't believe you you snake! We'ere right to not trust you!"

A cyan haired female teen shouted at Sunset face, getting Sunset's face to morph into shock.

"W... What...?"

Sunset's fury died quickly, hearing the jock heads outburst.

"I thought you were our friend.. you.. Secret Thief!"

A normally cheery and outgoing teen was angry and lacked any energy to stay positive.

"Wait... you never trusted me..?"

Sunset Shimmer asked with despair in her trembling voice, the two teens backed up as the crowd of students gathered around. Among the crowd was three freshmen girls, They were; Apple Bloom, Sweetie Bell, and Scootaloo.

A tough farm girl teen looked away from Sunset Shimmer while using her hat to cover her disappointed face while a pink haired teen looked away from Sunsets gaze to avoid trying to comfort the traitor, and finally a well dressed teen looked at Sunset with a look of disgust.

"Oh stop acting like you didn't expect us to fully trust you after all you've done.. Honestly your acting so dramatic.."

The fancy teen said, lacking any sort of generosity to the nearly crying Sunset Shimmer.

"Y... You all lied to me.... y... you...-!"

Before Sunset could finish her sentence a buttery colored hand slapped Sunset across the face, leaving Sunset speechless. Sunset looked at the teen who slapped her, eyes going wide as a furious stare from the usually timid teen had made her own soul feel cold.

"How... How could we ever forgive and forget what you have done to us...! You bullied me for YEARS and expect any kindness from you..? Well here's what you wanted me to do... get more confident to say this..! Fuck you Sunset Shimmer... Never bother us again..."

Fluttershy yelled at Sunset, getting out all of the years of being a doormat out.

"Lets go to class girls..."

Applejack said, gathering her friends and walking away from the stunned Sunset Shimmer as other students walked away. The only students that stayed with Sunset was the CMC, so when the others were gone the three girls walked up to Sunset as she collapsed onto her knees.

"U.. Um Sunset..."

Apple bloom asked cautiously as Sunset looked mentally unstable at the moment.

"We um... didn't want this to happen..."

Apple bloom said, feeling pity for Sunset for hearing the ugly truth from her sister friends.

The trio looked nervous as Sunset slowly got onto her feet before looking at the freshmen and softly speaking.

"Thank you for showing me the truth..."

That was all Sunset said before walking down the hallway, absolutely devastated from hearing the truth before walking to the large double doors leading out to the school courtyard. Sunset pushed the double doors outward before slowly walking down the steps and toward the large statue. Looking up at the portal that led to her home world, closed unfortunately due to Twilight's attempt to keep it open longer on her side. Staring at her self reflection, Sunset placed a hand on the reflection while seeing her pony form in the reflection.

"I'm so sorry Twilight... Celestia... I failed... and I can't emotionally handle this..."

Sunset Shimmer said, having to deal with the knowledge of everything hitting her at once...

The constant overbearing company...

The over shadowing of anything electronic...

The party invite constantly changing...

Lack of support from dealing with bullies...

The month and a half of being alone before they took her into their fold...

Looking away from the portal and to the schools front to see the CMC watching her with curious expressions on their faces before Sunsets face formed into a wicked smile. Soon Sunset began walking towards the long road as many cars passed by, watching the cars rush past as a voiced called out.

"Sunset..?"

The voice was Principle Celestia and she was concerned with what Sunset was doing... the only response Sunset gave out before sighing loudly.

"I'm sorry..."

Principal Celestia's POV:

Watching Sunset jump in-front of a bus made me shriek out in shock and horror.

"SUNSET!!!!"

Sunsets body tumbled along the rough rocky road and the loud sounds of crackling bones filled my ears as the bus that hit Sunset had screeched to a halt as the driver, who looked to be in their mid 20's was wide eyed and breathing heavily. Without even realizing it, I ran up to Sunsets crumpled body and moved her hands to her neck in a attempt to hear a heartbeat.

"Bump-"

"Bump bump-"

"Bump-"

"Bump bump-"

Thank god that Sunset was alive, it was going to be hell to scold her for trying to kill herself but it didn't make any sense... Why..?

"Why did you do this... what made you do this...?"

I asked softly, looking up to see two men rushing up to Sunset body and herself. They wore paramedic uniforms and carried a large stretcher. Getting Sunsets body onto the Stretcher before taking her away making me get up to follow but a familiar voice from behind me made me stop before I could do anything I regret.

"Sister..? What has happened...?"

Looking back, I could see the concern on my sisters face and it made me feel sick to even say it...

"Sunset Shimmer just tried to kill herself..!"

A group of girls sitting in separate classes, who were in the middle of writing notes, suddenly grasp their chest tightly as a sharp pain caused them to stop what they were doing.

Twilight Sparkle was reading a book on her table in the Crystal Castle with her friends and the group of foals when Twilight suddenly stopped speaking.

"T.. Twilight..?"

Spike, Twilight's sparkles baby brother, asked when she stopped talking to the crowd of foals and colts. Suddenly Twilight fell to the cold crystal floor and began to spasm out of control.

Everypony in the room screamed out in fear...

"TWILIGHT!!!!!!"
