Hello Sunset
I was on my way to school, running as fast as I could. I was trying to get there before it started raining, especially since it was supposed to storm. I reached the front of the school just as the first few drops started to come down. I stopped to catch my breath but didn’t notice the lightning. As I reached for the door, there was a bright flash of light and pain that lasted for less than a second. Anyone watching would’ve probably seen me be struck and disappear. I came to in an alley, slightly toasted from the lightning strike. When I took a second look at my surroundings, a realization came to mind. I wasn’t in my universe anymore, everything was bright and animated and cartoony.
“So I’m in a cartoon, question is which one? Really hope this isn’t one with a high chance of death and/or torture,” I said.
I poked my head out and after seeing the people was instantly able to figure out where I was. MLP, specifically the EG world.
“Ok, not bad, could be worse. Question is, what point am I at? Before or after the first movie? Have the Dazzlings arrived yet? Etc.” I said to myself.
I decided to go to Canterlot High to answer my questions, depending on what the answer was would depend on what I would do. I asked around for directions which everyone was nice enough to give me, but they kept giving concerned looks.
“I was electrocuted, ok? I’m fine, just point me towards the high school. I need to sign up for classes,” I said.
“Are you sure? I can call an ambulance-” random stranger.
“I’M FINE.” I said.
The random stranger relented and gave me directions. I finally arrived.
“Ok. Walk in and say I’m here to become a student. Don’t say anything about the magic hijinks, just observe,” I said.
As I looked for Celestia's office I tried recalling the events from the movies, but couldn’t remember everything. Was that cause it's been awhile since I've seen them, or cause the lightning strike messed with my head? No matter, I remember enough. Including the fact Twilight was able to walk in here no problem. I got lost in thought and ran into the door to the principal's office. I took a deep breath and walked in.
“Hello? Principal? I’m here to sign up for classes. I'm new in town." I said.
She handed me paper with the different classes and available time slots.
“Over the weekend, decide what you want your schedule to be. Then come back Monday and you can start,” Celestia said, “If you need help with anything, ask one of our students."
I nodded and went outside and waited for the bell, once everyone started walking out I looked for Sunset. I found her walking out with Snips and Snails.
“Hello, I’m new here. Principal Celestia told me to ask a random student for help getting familiar with everything around,” I told her.
“I’m busy, go find someone else to bother,” she said as she pushed me out of the way.
Ok. Bad attitude plus having Snips and Snails around? Before the first movie. That’s ok, this gave me a chance to live out one of my fantasies. Side with the villain of the story, and ensure their victory.
“Oh I think this’ll be worth your time, Miss Former Princess Student,” I said with a grin.
She froze and turned back towards me.
“What did you say?” she said with a look of silent fury.
“Do you know what he’s talking about? She’s not a former student,” Snails asked Snips.
He just shrugged and replied with, “I dunno.”
“Let’s talk somewhere with more privacy, don’t want any eavesdroppers,” I said.
“Fine. The alley by Sugarcube Corner. Right now,” Sunset said.
I nodded and walked away, I overheard Sunset.
“Make sure we’re not followed,” she said.

Shall We?
We made our way to the bakery, we walked in silence till we reached our destination. When we did, Sunset said one word.
“Explain.”
“Like you, I am from another world. However, I am not from Equestria,” I said.
“Really? Then where are you from?” she asked, I could tell by her tone she didn’t believe me.
“I’m actually from an alternate Earth. Like, another, nother human world. Except there, things are, let’s say, a lot less bright and colorful. And there, there exists one specific TV show. Wanna guess what it’s about?” I said.
“What does that have to do with anything?” she asked.
“It has to do with everything!” I said with a delighted tone and wide smile, “It is a cartoon about Equestria, after all. And your ex teacher’s new student is the main character!”
“Huh….well you definitely don’t act like somepony from Equestria. You’re clearly used to having a human body, and you know what a TV show is. But what other proof do you have?" Sunset asked.
“You caused 5 friends to split apart. Rarity, Applejack, Pinkie, Fluttershy, and Rainbow. I just arrived so I shouldn’t know that, but I do.” I responded.
“Ok. I’m more inclined to believe you now, but I still have questions,” Sunset said.
“Ask away, Miss Shimmer,” I said.
“What portal did you go through?” she asked.
“None. I was struck by lightning and wound up here, that’s why I looked a little messed up. Must’ve been magic lightning or something, I don’t really know. Magic only existed in fiction, you’d know more than me,” I said.
“I’ve never heard of any form of teleportation like that,” Sunset said.
“Me neither. Like I said, magic only existed in fiction. Unless it was really, really, rare, or purposely hidden from everyone,” I said.
“Ok….well, if you’ve seen the show, what will happen in the future?” Sunset asked.
“Twilight eventually becomes an alicorn princess, then you 2 meet. While I don’t remember the details, she wins, you lose. But with my help, we can change that. So what do you say? Shall we work together?” I asked while holding out my hand.
“If you know my plans, why are you helping me? Aren’t I technically the villain?” Sunset asked, guess she was still suspicious of me.
“Because I like you, you're a villain I that I could say, 'I would like to see her win'. That, and also because this is a situation where siding with the villain would be the much more fun outcome. So I ask again, do you accept? Shall we team up?” I answered then asked.
Sunset pondered my offer for a moment, then looked at me with a sinister smile.
“Let’s do this,” she said, holding out her hand.
We shook on it, and I began laughing.
“Hahaha. Hahaha! AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!”
Sunset gave me a deadpanned look.
“Really? Did you have to do that?”
“Trust me. When the time comes, you’ll do the exact same thing. At least I think so, like I said I don’t 100% remember everything. We should probably focus on that.”

Discussing and Planning
Before we got to planning, Sunset made me go to the hospital. Whether because she was genuinely concerned or because I was her key to success was up for debate. Either way I had no serious side effects except being mildly sizzled, which in a cartoon world is only a mild annoyance. Afterwards we went to her house and I started going over everything I remembered.
“She’s friends with her world’s Pinkie, Rarity, Dash, Fluttershy, and Applejack. So when she winds up here, she’ll gravitate towards them,” I said.
“Ok, good to know. Continue,” Sunset said.
“The 6 of them are connected to the Elements of Harmony. Which results in a rainbow beam of pain to defeat whoever they’re facing, so watch out for that. You do not want that to touch you at all,” I said.
“Those 5 are turning out to be more trouble than expected,” Sunset said.
“Yes. Please stop interrupting. Let’s see….what else….what else….Oh! I got something. This only applies to Equestria and not here, there are other villains you’ll have to deal with. A shape-shifting love eating changeling queen named Chrysalis, a magic sucking centaur named Tirek, a powerful unicorn who can steal cutie marks named Starlight Glimmer, another powerful unicorn named Sombra who has shadow powers and mind control. And that’s all the big bads I can remember. As for heroes/defenders you got the 2 princesses you know plus Princess Luna, who controls the moon and dreams. There’s also a chaos god with a lot of power named Discord, Twilight’s brother, and one I think I should mention is Twilight’s assistant. He’s a baby dragon who can send messages directly to Celestia, so that’s noteworthy. Things for this world you should keep an eye out for are 3 sirens called the Dazzlings, they can mess with people’s minds by singing. There’s also a human Twilight who goes to another school. Though if things go according to plan, they shouldn’t be a problem since they’ll be stuck in this world. I can’t remember exact details but I might remember them when events come to pass, and if I don’t I should still be able to help in case you make mistakes,” I finished explaining.
“Well that certainly helps a lot, good to know about possible threats. But are you sure you can’t remember anything else about when I have to deal with Princess Twilight?” Sunset asked.
“No, sorry. But I’ll help when she gets here, having someone to edit/revise your plans will be helpful. Considering the only real help you have is Snips and Snails. They may be good for carrying out any tasks you tell them to, but man do they lack brains. I remember the pony versions of them were stupid enough to mess with an Ursa,” I said.
“Wow. Even I didn’t know they could be that stupid,” Sunset said, “And fine, you can’t remember everything, at least you know enough to help me. And also having some smart help will be beneficial.”
“Yeah, speaking of which, I have another idea. When in school, and out in public generally, make it look like you absolutely despise me. Like, you especially want to screw me over more so than the other students,” I said.
Sunset looked at me confused.
“Why?” she asked.
“So no one suspects we’re working together, I can gain everyone else’s and Twilight’s trust and when the time comes….BAM! The truth is revealed!” I said.
“Oh, I see. Not a bad idea at all, but maybe tone it down. If you get special attention, even if it’s negative, that could be suspicious. So I’ll stick to just my normal methods,” Sunset said.
“Ok, guess that makes sense,” I said.

Enter Equestria
Over the course of the first day we set everything up so no one would suspect us of working together. It was basically setting Sunset’s authority over the new kid(me).
“I’m the one in charge, got it? I don’t care if you’re new here, I won’t show you any mercy. You mess with me, you will regret it,” she told me while pinning me against a locker.
I nodded and she walked away, at which point Fluttershy walked up to me.
“Are you ok?” she asked.
“Yeah, I’m fine. Just a little verbal lashing and a warning,” I responded.
“I’m sorry you had to deal with that. Sunset can be so mean,” Fluttershy said.
“While I don’t appreciate being threatened, I’m sure I can avoid getting into trouble with her if I just avoid her entirely and stay quiet. I just won’t say anything unless it’s school related, like answering questions or asking for help with something,” I said.
“You should still be careful around her, just in case she decides to target you,” Fluttershy said.
Then the bell rang.
“Gotta go bye!” I yelled as I ran to class.
When lunch came I sat alone, before I could eat Sunset walked in and stole my food. She made sure to do it where others could see.
“Hey! What was that for?!” I yelled.
“Showing you who’s in charge, and that no one will help you,” she responded.
I turned around to see the other students nervously glancing in our direction, but they stayed seated.
“Ok, fine. You win,” I said.
Then finally towards the end of the day, I got called to Celestia’s office. I put on a nervous look as I left while Sunset had a sinister expression on. Giving the students the impression I was just another unlucky bully victim of Sunset. When I got to the office it was really just Celestia asking how my first day was and if I found everything alright. I of course said yes and that I loved it and blah blah blah. After school at Sunset’s house we discussed our next move.
“If you can’t remember everything, I’m going to need to use the 3 days to gather intel. Which will unfortunately push everything to next month on the Fall Formal,” Sunset said.
“Best to wait an extra month and make sure everything goes according to plan. You’re the smart one here, wouldn’t you agree?” I said.
“Good point, I just don’t want to wait any longer than I have to,” Sunset said.
“It’ll be worth it when you succeed and gain your wings and ultra powerful magic,” I said.
Sunset looked excited at that prospect, we planned to have Sunset call in sick to excuse her absence for the 3 days.
“Hold up, I wanna go too,” I said.
“I think things will be easier if it's just me. You’ve never been a pony, and trying to adjust to a new body isn’t easy. That’ll make you more of a liability. And be honest, you just wanna fan over your favorite TV show,” Sunset said.
“Maybe. But come on, please? I also wanna see what type of pony I’ll be,” I said.
“No. You stay here, I go to Equestria. That’s final,” she said.
“Awwwwwwwwww….fiiiiiiiiiiiiiine….” I whined.
When the time came and Sunset called in sick, I was really upset that I couldn’t go. But then I realized something.
“We’re supposed to be partners. I’m not her minion like Snips and Snails, I can go if I want to,” I told myself.
I told Celestia that I wanted to help Sunset get better as thanks for introducing me on my first day. She of course agreed and gave me the 3 days off I asked for. That night when the portal opened I jumped in right behind Sunset. I was not prepared for how intense the trip would be.
“SHIT! SHIT! OH SHIT! AAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!” I screamed.
The portal tossed me out, disoriented and dizzy.
“Man, I was not expecting that. Better brace myself next time,” I said.
Then I felt something lift me into the air.
“Who are you?! Why did you follow me!?” Sunset yelled while using telekinesis.
“It’s me. Your partner in crime. The guy who wanted to go with you but you said no to,” I said.
“WHY DIDN’T YOU LISTEN TO ME!?! You know what? Explain later, we’ve got to go. Celestia wouldn’t just leave the mirror in an easy to access public area. The sooner we’re gone the better,” she said.
She ran off while still carrying me with her telekinesis.

I wasn't sure what 30 moons were supposed to be, I searched and found varying answers. Some said 30 months, some said 30 days, one person even said one moon equals a week. Since I couldn't get a definitive answer I just went with days.

Day 1
Sunset carried me out of the castle and didn’t stop running till we stopped at a donut shop. Luckily it was empty so nopony could see me stumble and fall.
“Uh, can I get a little help?” I asked.
“No. You didn’t listen, so now you deal with the consequences,” Sunset said.
“Remember, you need me for you to succeed,” I said with a smug grin.
“You’re pushing your luck,” she said.
“Hey, can you blame me for wanting to explore a different world? Not exactly something you can do everyday. And I’m from a world with no magic! I wanna see it for real! Plus maybe also see if I can somehow acquire some permanently,” I said.
That shut Sunset up.
“Considering my reasons for why I am where I am now, I guess you're right that I can’t blame you,” she said.
“I don’t remember your backstory, but I’m guessing you crossing the mirror was for similar reasons?” I asked.
“Yes, but let’s focus on what’s important. Getting the necessary information, and you learning how to operate a pony body,” Sunset said.
Only just now I looked at myself to see my features. The first thing I noticed was that I was a pegasus, that’s cool. I can fly and manipulate weather. I was now a tealish color and also had dark blue hair….err.…mane. Based on my cutie mark I’m guessing I had some storm related abilities? Not sure how that works.

“Don’t try to stand on your hind legs, don’t put the majority of your weight on your hind legs. This body is quadruped, distribute the weight evenly throughout all four legs,” Sunset advised.
I tried and was able to at least stand up, but walking was still something else entirely, and I’m not even sure where to begin with flying.
“For walking, just try putting one hoof in front of the other. Very slowly,” Sunset said.
I did and was able to walk, albeit slowly and wobbly.
“Ok, not the worst. It’ll have to do, if you fall behind I’ll just carry you. Don’t even ask how wings work, I don’t know how to help you there,” she said.
“Usually whenever I have a dream and I can fly, either I do so by flapping my arms rapidly, or by concentrating on the muscles in my back. Despite the different body, and this being real, maybe it’ll work?” I said.
Sunset shrugged.
“Try it.”
With her go to I did exactly that and managed to get myself off the ground. I just hovered in place.
“Ok, how should I move? Would leaning in the direction I want to go work?”
“You're asking the wrong pony.”
I did what I said and was mostly able to fly ok, just still had a few hiccups. I spent the rest of the night practicing, also waved hi to a few bat ponies.
“Well, I can fly for the most part. And since this is easier than walking, I’ll just follow you like this,” I said.
“Ok, but your wing muscles are gonna be sore as Tartarus when you stop,” she said.
I shrugged and said I’d deal with it as it comes. We asked around about the Elements of Harmony. We got a few responses, but it was mostly adoration and about how they defeated the threats to Equestria. Although Sunset being cloaked probably didn’t help.
“This is getting us nowhere! And avoiding the guards is becoming a real pain in the flank!” Sunset yelled.
She was avoiding detection so Celestia wouldn’t get involved. Meanwhile I could roam freely.
“I have an idea, it’s risky, but we’ll definitely have better luck there,” I said.
“What is it?” Sunset asked.
“Ponyville. The home of Princess Book Brains herself,” I said.
A couple of ponies looked scandalized at what I said, I just rolled my eyes. Canterlot nobles, am I right?
“I don’t know. That’s a bit far off, and we only have 3 days,” she said.
“It shouldn’t take that long. We get there by tonight the latest, rest, use our 2nd day to get information, by noon of the 3rd day the latest get a train back, then leave!” I said.
“I wish I had more time, but you’re probably right, good thing I still have bits saved up,” Sunset said.
We got a train and- oh fuck! Yep! There’s that feeling! The one where you use a muscle for too long and it feels unusable. It hit me right when I stopped flapping my wings.
“I’m gonna nap, wake me up when we get there,” I said before dozing off.

Sorry for not posting. I one, was busy with other stuff, and two didn't have much of an idea on what to do for this chapter. So I had to make it short, next chapter for sure will be the start of the EG movie.
Quick Info Gathering
“Hey wake up!” Sunset yelled.
“Huh? Wha?” I said.
“We’re here,” she said.
“Alright, let’s go,” I said.
We did some free roaming and observing, so far just a normal day. I actually saw Twilight, and realized something important.
“She’s not a princess yet, well we still got a bit to go. Let’s just gather what info we can and head back,” I said.
Sunset facehoofed, but agreed since we had no way to get to the Elements and information was something we needed. Also I realized when I called Twilight Book Brains the nobles must’ve thought I was referring to one of the others. Whatever, let them be offended. From what info I could gather, season 3 hadn’t even happened yet. Nothing about Sombra and the Crystal Empire was brought up when we asked about the Main 6, I wasn’t even sure the wedding with Chrysalis happened. Though I did hear mentions of Discord being defeated, so we were somewhere in season 2. Now, I wasn’t sure about how much time passed from seasons 2 and 3, but I’m pretty sure it wasn’t a month. Guess time passed differently on each side of the mirror, which honestly made sense the more I thought about it. Twilight was a filly when she became Celestia’s student, and Sunset was already on the other side of the mirror. Assuming she was high school age or at least junior high, there’s no way the same amount of time had passed. Only way that makes sense is if her Equestrian biology made her age slower or not at all. We rented a room and stayed the night at Ponyville, before we went to sleep I just thought of something.
“Hey, I just remembered that Luna can enter ponies dreams. You don’t think that’ll come back to bite us, will it?” I asked.
“Bucking dammit! I didn’t think of that!” Sunset yelled in anger.
“Well, I mean, as long as we don’t dream of any details of our plan we should be good, right? And if we do, just act like it’s a nightmare,” I suggested.
“That could work, but it’s risky. On the other hoof, we really need sleep. So I guess we’ll have to risk it,” Sunset said, clearly upset.
Next day we took the train back, half way there the two of us realized something.
“How we gonna sneak back in?” I asked.
“I was thinking of solutions. The castle hasn’t changed much, and I have the layout memorized. So if we could get close enough without drawing unwanted attention, all I have to do is teleport a short distance and we’re good,” Sunset said.
“Correct me if I’m wrong, but it takes more energy to teleport further distances, right?” I asked.
“Yeah, that’s why I said we need to be as close as possible,” Sunset responded.
“What about multiple short distance teleports?” I asked.
“That’ll take too long and draw too much attention,” Shimmer said.
“Ok. I’ll just leave this to you, you’re the magic expert,” I said.
And guess what? The plan worked just fine! No wonder Equestria had so much trouble with villains, their security was shit! If I remember correctly, no one even noticed the Discord statue missing until he already spread chaos everywhere! We arrived back at Canterlot High and went to Sunset’s house.

Sorry I haven't updated awhile. A combination of work, video games, and reading/writing other fanfics kept me from doing that. Decided to split movie into 2 parts so I could give you guys an update.
Movie Start
So the next month was fine, nothing real special or that out of the ordinary of what’d you expect from a high school. Except for the occasional musical number, but that was expected from a MLP world. Eventually another month passed, and the portal was active again. Man this time dilation stuff was confusing. Sunset went in alone, understandable since she had more experience with the whole ‘being a pony’ thing. She left immediately, literally the moment it opened up. She was gone for the entirety of the first day, and back the second.
“So how’d it go? Do you have it?” I asked.
She punched the lockers, guess that was a no. Her anger scared off nearby students.
“NO!!! It flew through the portal and someone took it!” she yelled.
Yikes, guess that stayed the same.
“Do you know who took it?” Sunset asked.
“Sorry, I don’t. I remember characters and certain major things, but not every single detail. For example, I know originally the crown flies through the portal and that’s why Twilight follows you in the first place. But I don’t remember exactly what she does once she’s here. Sorry,” I said.
She growled and then sighed.
“No matter, I have my other ways of gaining information,” she said before walking away.
I followed her(but at a distance so it wouldn’t look like I was, really didn’t want to seem suspicious)and saw her confront Fluttershy. While that was going on, Twilight approached.
“She’s here! Shit! Ok now, don’t mess this up!” I whispered to myself.
I stayed away from Sunset and Twilight, really wanted to avoid too much interference. But then lunch came around and I couldn’t resist pulling a hilarious but cruel prank. I walked up to Twilight and before she could grab anything I gave her my recommendations.
“These burgers are my favorites, I highly recommend them. Just wanted to give friendly advice for standing up to Sunset,” I lied.
“Oh…well, thanks!” she said.
I could not wait to tell her later what was in those, Sunset walked up to me and gave me a disgusted look.
“What?” I asked.
She just glared at me.
“Really? That’s going too far? It’s not like the cows here are sentient,” I asked.
Sunset shook her head, then walked away.
I shrugged, “Whatever.”
Later on I followed her into the gym.
“Hey everyone, I-” SPLASH!!! I got a face full of cider.
“I’ll be going now,” I said.
Later after she confronted Twilight.
“Really? I get why, but really?” I said.
“Have to keep up appearances,” Sunset said.
“This is payback for the hamburger thing, isn’t it?” I asked.
Sunset chuckled, “Right now I’m gathering footage to sabotage her, this will be another easy victory for me.”
I just decided to ignore the fact she ignored my question. I was curious as to what Twilight could be doing that would sabotage her, I entered the library and holy shit. The second hand embarrassment was immense.

By the time I woke up the next day, Sunset had just finished working on the video of Twilight making an idiot of herself.
“Well, I’ll say this. If there’s an award for court jester, she’d win by a landslide,” I said.
“Then I’d say when my work was a success,” she boasted.
“Not really, she’s done a pretty good job making a fool out of herself since she got here,” I said.
Sunset gave me an annoyed glance.
“Fine, ya did good. Now let’s keep an eye on her to make sure she doesn’t succeed. Like I’ve already said, I don’t remember the exact details, but she does something to get the gang back together and unite the school. That’s the whole reason you lose after all, good thing you have me!” I said that last part smugly.
“I know. I’m not an idiot to think one embarrassing video will be enough, and stop acting like that,” she said annoyed.
“Awww, come on! Don’t tell me after a month you haven’t gotten at least a little attached to me?” I asked.
“You’re useful and by far the most tolerable person I’ve met,” Sunset clarified.
“I’ll take it!” I said.
I hugged her and ran off, leaving her confused and annoyed. Later during lunch Twilight and the human counterparts of the 5 started a musical number. This angered and annoyed me, and I wasn’t the only one. Spotting Sunset through the glass door, I snuck out while everyone was distracted by the song.
“Take those off!” she yelled at Snips and Snails.
“Seriously you two?” I asked.
They just looked at me and shrugged while smiling nervously.
“I have something I need to do,” Sunset said.
“I’m right behind you!” I responded.
“How good are you at altering photos?”
“Wait what? Oh. Yeah….I dunno how that stuff works. Got anything else?” I asked.
“Ugh, fine. Just make sure she doesn’t get too close,” Sunset ordered.
I nodded.
“Kay. Also one more thing, I saw someone do something similar in a movie. Be sure to dispose of any evidence proving the photos are fake. I suggest burning, to get rid of the evidence completely,” I told her before running off.
So I kept an eye on the 6 and they were doing nothing of note, this is pretty boring. When one of the students asked why I wasn’t wearing the ears or tail I responded with, “My old school didn’t do stuff like this, so it’d just feel weird. If you hear anyone get curious about that, just tell them what I told you.”
He nodded and left, then Sunset finally came back from faking photos.
“Hey Sunset! Did you follow my advice?” I asked.
She nodded.
“How did I not think of that? Just trashing them presents the risk of them being discovered and making my whole plan fall apart! I’m smarter than that!” she yelled angrily.
“Hey now, everyone makes the occasional mistake of missing the obvious, even when it’s right in front of them. Trust me, it's happened more times than I’d like to admit. Oh man, that’s embarrassing. It’s even worse when you ask for help and end up looking like an idiot in front of whoever you just asked,” I confessed.
Sunset looked unsure what to do, like she wanted to comfort me but didn’t know how. So she just patted me on the back.
“Thanks for that,” I said.
“You’re welcome, now we just wait a few hours and the crown will be mine!!!” she exclaimed.
“HAHAHAHAHAAA!!!” I said in response.
“You really like doing the stereotypical evil laugh, don’t you?” Sunset asked.
“I sure do! See you at the Formal!” I said before running off.
Later at night once the formal started, I was hanging out by the refreshments table with Sunset. I really wanted the climax to just happen already and was growing inpatient.
“So….uhhhhh, take it you’re not much of a party person either?” I asked.
“I’m only here for the crown, like always,” she said.
“Uh huh, what about the previous years where you won it? Did you actually dance or something? Or did you just show up for the glory of winning?” I asked.
“Just for the glory. That’s not to say I don’t enjoy a good ball or dance, I’d just prefer it to be under different circumstances,” she responded.
“Ok. Me personally, I’m the kind of person who stays away from this kinda stuff, even if it were all about me. Like for example if it were my birthday, I wouldn’t want a huge party or anything like that. I just prefer to not be surrounded by a lot of people,” I said.
“Fair enough, also is it really a good idea for us to be seen together?” Sunset asked.
“Everyone’s busy dancing, I think we’ll be fine. Plus if anyone gets suspicious just push me or insult me or something, easy peasy,” I said.
Then Principal Celestia finally made her way on stage to announce the winner.
“Attention everyone! Due to there only being one candidate for the Fall Formal Crown, our winner for tonight is once again Sunset Shimmer!” she announced.
Everyone started booing and demanding to know what was going on. Luna explained why she was disqualified, but various students explained how they saw her outside the gym at the supposed time the vandalism took place. One student even pointed out how easy it was to fake the photographs of her committing the acts. Another tried to frame Sunset, but since there was no evidence against her she was in the clear. Due to everyone standing up and supporting her, Twilight was once again deemed a valid candidate.
“In that case, everyone who is voting for Sunset Shimmer raise their hand,” Celestia said.
Only Snips and Snails did.
“Now everyone who is voting for Twilight Sparkle raise their hand,” Celestia said.
Almost everyone’s hand shot up, apart from the obvious 3. I decided to remain neutral.
“Alright. Without further ado, the winner of this year's crown and princess of the Fall Formal is Twilight Sparkle!!!” Celestia announced.
Oh man, the glare Sunset was giving Twilight was terrifying. Glad it wasn’t directed towards me.
“Time for Plan B,” Sunset said venomously.
Snips and Snails nodded while she ran outside. She didn’t clue me in as to what Plan B was so I just observed and decided to intervene if necessary. As Twilight was receiving the crown, the 2 goons snatched Spike. Man this was weird, I couldn’t remember how things played out in the original timeline until they already happened. As the 6 ran out I followed behind them. We all ran out towards the statue portal and-
“HOLY SHIT!!! SUNSET’S READY TO BASH THE DOG’S HEAD IN!!!!” I yelled.
“Don’t hurt him!” Twilight said.
“Oh I wouldn’t dream of it! I’m not a monster, let him go,” Sunset said.
“That’s a relief,” I said.
Sunset proceeded to threaten to destroy the portal. Twilight took off the crown and hesitated, before responding with “No,” and saying stuff about how Equestria would be fine without her, and how Sunset was bad enough without magic here, blah, blah, blah. As the others complimented Twilight, Sunset lost it and lunged for the crown. It was tossed back and forth between everyone, until it landed at my feet. I picked it up and heard various cries of “Throw it!” and “Over here!” were let out. I smiled and chuckled before tossing it to Sunset, then my chuckle became full of evil laughter.
“AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!!!! FOOOOOOOLS!!!! I PLAYED YOU!!!! AND YOU FELL RIGHT INTO MY TRAP!!!!” I yelled.
“He was working with Sunset the whole time!?!” Twilight yelled.
“CORRECT!!!” I yelled.
Meanwhile with Sunset, “At last! More power than I could ever imagine!”
She put the crown on and was engulfed in a pillar of magic, the other students came out and witnessed the spectacle before us. As burst of magic dimmed down, I could make out Sunset’s new form.
“Right! That’s what ended up happening! This is way more awesome in person,” I told myself.
Also I didn’t say anything, but was glad when I heard Sunset laugh evilly. It wasn’t as loud or dramatic as mines was, but she still did it, and that’s what counts.
She then-
“Wait what?” was all I could say as a beam of magic flew towards me.
What I proceeded to feel was indescribable, the best way I could summarize it was “This is the best I’ve ever felt in all my life!”
When my vision cleared, I could feel energy surging throughout my whole body. Looking down at myself, I was now made mostly of electricity. Oh, how hilarious that was. I launched myself into the sky and yelled, “WE’RE GONNA HAVE SO MUCH FUN!!!!”
The students started panicking and ran into the school. Sunset started monologuing but I was mostly focused on moving around as fast as literal lightning. I surrounded the 6 and zapped them all. Not enough to be deadly, just enough to render them immobile.
“STUNNED THEM!!! WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO NOW!!!??” I yelled.
“Could you tone it down a bit?” Sunset asked, slightly annoyed.
“SORRY!!! I’M JUST SOOOOO EXCITED!!!!” I yelled as sparks popped all over my body.
“Well. Now that I have my army ready and those 6 are down, it’s time to conquer Equestria!” Sunset exclaimed.
“Not yet. You’re gonna execute one of them to render the elements null and void. They won’t work with only 5. I say only kill 1 so we have prisoners of war, you know, keep them for entertainment,” I told Sunset.
“You bring up a good point. Very well,” Sunset said as she drew her attention back to the 6.
“Now…who to execute? I got it!” Sunset said before firing an attack at the unlucky victim.
As we traversed through the portal, I made sure to bring up something important.
“Keep the pony versions alive, you’re gonna want the elements to lock up a certain chaos god. Just threaten their families to make sure they don’t turn against you,” I said.
“I’m so glad I have you around! I’m proud to call you my one true best friend!” Sunset said.

For the part where the 6 get zapped, they got electrocuted before they could huddle up together and activate their elements. Remember just how fast electricity can move. Also I left it ambiguous as to who she executed on purpose. Whoever your favorite is, is who she executed. Also due to being made of electricity and not having a solid form, he can manipulate most of his body. And I tried uploading an image but couldn't, could someone help me with that
