Me and Rares have been dating for a year now and ever since I got my castle a month she’s been practically living here, mostly because she knows how I don’t like being alone in this big castle. “Darling?” I glanced up from my book to see her staring at me thoughtfully. “You have that look on your face.” “What look on my face?” I asked and gently closed my book. “I’ve known you for long enough to know all your Twilight looks.” She smiled and raised an eyebrow. “What’s on your mind dear?” She asked “Just thinking.” I smiled “Alright.” She didn't press on and went back to her sewing machine and I went back to my book. After a few moments of silence I spoke up “You know, you’ve been spending a lot of time here lately.” I said “Yes, and?” She said while still sewing “I mean, well and we’ve been together for a year now.” Ever since our first date i’ve been enamored with Rarity, by our second date I had our 1 year anniversary planned in my head and now we're practically living together and now i’m struggling to officially ask her to move in with me. I mean really living together is a big step, a big change, what if she gets mad when she realizes I hate washing dishes or other little things. “Yes Twilight, I'm aware.” She giggled “So I think maybe, only if you want, you should start keeping your toothbrush here.” I internally cringed, keep your toothbrush here that makes no sense. She glanced up confused, and then said “Twilight, darling are you asking me to move in with you?” “Yes.” I squeaked “You know I already basically live here?” She walked over to me and sat next to me. “I mean we’re sitting in my work room.” I groaned “You’re teasing me.” I blushed “I know but I wanted to ask officially you know?” She rested her hooves on mine “I know darling, and I would be happy to move in with you officially.” _____________________ Author's Note Their so cute //-------------------------------------------------------// Lavender //-------------------------------------------------------// Lavender Lavender The first thing I notice when I wake up is a scent of lavender with a side of my marefriend snuggling up to me. When I see her face, the events of last night course through my mind and my face heats up 100 degrees. Me and Rarity have been dating a few weeks officially even though we’ve been flirting back and forth for months, but I finally worked up the courage to ask her out, and it’s been an amazing few weeks just enjoying each other's company, going on dates all the time, about everything a couple does, expect you know. Last night was our first ever time. And I don’t mean to sound biased but it was the absolute best, Rarity was the absolute best. I was still processing when Rares started moving around and clinging onto me tighter with light snores coming out her mouth. “You know, you’re really cute when you snore.” I said smirking “A lady does not snore Twilight.” She said groggily “I thought you were asleep.” I said stroking her mane “Oh, quiet Twi how can you blame me for wanting more sleepy time with my marefriend?” She asked yawning “I guess not, I am pretty amazing.” I said nuzzling up to her She laughed and wow, was it me or did it get hot suddenly “I see.” Rarity smiled, “Someone’s full of herself this morning.” I raised one eyebrow “Can you blame me?” She rolled her eyes “I guess not darling.” We laid there in each other's embrace for a few moments, I would've laid there for eternity. But of course my alarm clock had to go off. I took a look at the clock and it was 7. A little later than usual but I wanted to make sure I had as much time I could with Rarity before I had to get going. “Hmmp” Rarity groaned “It's too early.” She brushed back my bangs “Do you have to get going already?” “I have a while before I have to go to Canterlot, I made sure of it so we could eat breakfast.” She kissed my cheek “Well aren't you ever so thoughtful dear.” She sat up “Oh well we better get started on breakfast, no time to waste.” I sighed, sure I was hungry but if i was being honest I wanted to just stay in bed all day with Rarity. I pulled her back down with my magic and enveloped her with my hooves into a hug. “C’mon a few more minutes won’t hurt.” I said as I nuzzled my face into the crook of her neck. She laughed, “Twilight, that tickles stop it.” “No way.” I stopped on account to a pillow being thrown at me with blue aura surrounding it. “Rarity.” “Yes, my beautiful darling marefriend.” No doubt trying to sweet talk her way out this “What is it?” She asked innocently. Another pillow hit my face. Oh no way in Equestria was I going down without a fight. I picked up 2 pillows with my magic and plowed them at my marefriend. “Twilight Sparkle!” she shrieked “What Rarity.” I smirked innocently “Hmmp” she rolled her eyes “You’re impossible.” I pulled her into another hug. Moments like these I cherish small or big. I sighed “As much as I like this we should probably go make breakfast.” Like her stomach had a mind of it’s own and heard me it grumbled She blushed flustered “I think you’re right darling.” Author's Note Hi guys this is my first ever story feel free to leave tips or comments. //-------------------------------------------------------// Petty Fights //-------------------------------------------------------// Petty Fights “What?” Rarity’s voice raised an octave “Are you saying I'm asking for too much?” Rarity shook her head Me and Rarity have been dating for a little more than half a year now. Everything’s been going smoothly so far but recently I’ve been really enveloped in my work for Princess Celestia and me and Rarity haven’t gotten a lot of time together recently which led to this argument. “Rares.” I sighed “That’s not what i’m saying-“ “So what are you saying?” She sat down in the chair across from my desk “Please just let me speak.” I shoved my papers to the side, If she wanted my attention she definitely had it now. “All I'm saying is you have to understand what I have going on, I mean Princess Celestia has tasked me with the control of a small section of land. I can't just slack off, I have to put my all into this.” My voice was starting to raise why couldn’t she just see this from my point of view “So no, I can’t just drop everything for you. After a while of dating Rarity I was used to the little petty arguments or her being dramatic, and I was prone to play along to please her but now I was stressed and I had no patience for it right now. “Oh really!” She clenched her jaw “And i’m not busy? I own 3 shops and still have to complete personal orders and I still always find a way to make time for you because you’re my marefriend.” “All I'm asking is for you to at least try and put in some effort to see me.” “I am Rarity, what do you think this time is right now?” I asked “Considering we're in your office I would say this was a meeting.” She hissed “I’m not asking for a meeting Twilight, do you even remember the last time we were on a date or just enjoyed each other's company or for heaven's sake were intimate.” Thinking back it had to have been maybe a month which I admit is a very long time I guess I was so engrossed in my work I didn’t notice. I sighed a dramatic sigh that could only be matched with my lovers. she rolled her eyes “Darling I get where you're coming from. I know how much of a big deal this is considering it’s your first task as a princess, and I get you have priorities I just want to be one of them.” She looked away from me and glanced to the ground I softened, this was a stupid fight. I loved Rarity and my pride was too big to admit I was wrong, I should have made more time for her. I just wanted to make sure everything was perfect. I didn't want anything to distract me. “I’m sorry Rares.” I tilted her chin back up to look me in the eyes, they were watering. “I was just stressed with this work, you are a priority, my number one priority.” She was trying to avoid my eyes “Sweetheart look at me, please.” She glanced up with those big sapphire eyes and I realized how much I missed her “I love you.” She smiled, “I know darling, I love you too.” I held her and she sighed into my embrace “We’re very silly ponies you know?” “I know, I promise I'll make more time for you.” I said “You know screw work let’s go out right now.” She smiled then kissed me “That would be lovely darling.” Author's Note These are my first stories so please leave constructive criticism and enjoy!
