Shooting Star’s Nightmare
“Nightmares or darkness what is known of them not too much we can not tell what they mean what can be in them are the visions of what is to come or what has happened” Star said sitting in his room alone not wanting to be bothered he had secluded himself from the world from the nightmares he had been having the only time he would leave his room was to bring the stars out
There was a knock at the door Shooting Star whipped his head around as he magicked the door open to see Celestia there smiling with two cups of tea and a small plate of cookies she walked in his room seeing he looked tired and worn out like he would pass out at any second Star still choked on a smile for his mother’s sake seeing she was not buying it one bit he put his frown back on while Celestia came over and nuzzled him smiling as they sat on his bed
“My Little Star why have you been locking yourself in your room like this it is not healthy and you do not look well please tell me what is bothering you” Celestia said in her normal gentle caring tone while Star levitated his tea taking a small sip perking up a little while a small smile formed on his face
“Well its these nightmares i have been having mom they just feel so real there is this thing i am not sure what it even is but it is like a shadow so to speak i can’t sleep for fear that i will see it again” Star said while Celestia nodded understandingly “It just scares me i can’t even make out what it looks like it is a blurred figure”
“Well i am not well with dream interpretation but this does sound serious it has you too scared to sleep Star please at least leave your room for me” Celestia said all the while looking into her son’s green eyes “Please Star i am asking you to at least go out to the gardens and see Philomena i am sure that phoenix would like some company or somepony to share a lunch with” she added with a smile
“Ya i know i will go out of this room a little bit if it makes you happy” Star said while munching on a cookie “But still that thing is messing with my head who knows it might be like my old nightmares i used to have when i was a little colt they will pass sometime or maybe they won't i guess we will have to wait but first i am going to take a nice hot bath” Star said hugging Celestia before trotting out of his room
“That boy will never change will he Tia” Luna said making herself visable again
“Luna how long have you been there?” Celestia asked looking at her younger sister
“Oh just the whole time and i heard you baked cookies” Luna said staring the plate of cookies down Celestia just sighed
“Go on Luna they are all yours” Celestia said while Luna started munching on the cookies

Star walked out of the gardens he felt a little better now that he took his mother’s advice and relaxed he hoped it would help with his nightmares Star was sitting under a nice shaded tree reading a book it was an old book Twilight had given him many years ago he was too into his book not even noticing a pink feather levitating to his nose tickling it making him sneeze when he looked up a big dumb grin spread across his face
“Cadance” Star said giving her a hug while she returned the hug smiling herself
“Hi Stary Aunt Celestia told me about the nightmares you have been having want to talk about it” Cadance said while Star froze in place
“Ya i know but it is too hard to talk about” Star said only earning a glare from Cadance “Fine you win” He said and started to explain everything after he finished Cadance stood there in shock
“Oh my goodness Stary uhh i need to talk to Aunt Celestia” Cadance said taking off while Star just sat down drifting off to sleep

Star woke up under the same tree he had fallen asleep under to see the sky was not its normal color and it was night but the sky it was red a deep blood red Star jumped up looking around hearing noises he was looking around only to see twelve ponies he knew but they were dead walking to him Star look at all of them scared for dear life
“N-no please stop guys i am begging you who or what ever you are stop this” Star shouted in the royal canterlot voice making the other ponies disappear but it did not stop the voices
“He is watching”
“Never turn your back”
“He has no face or eyes”
“He will get you”
“He sees all”
“No escape”
“Can’t run”
“follows”
“Don’t look or it takes you”

Star woke up in his bed screaming like he did when he was a young colt and had a nightmare
he looked around a few times Star looked around and saw three ponies around him it was His mother his Aunt Luna and his cousin Cadance, Star’s rapid breathing slowed down a bit when he saw them all but he knew something was up
“Slendermane that is his name” Star said looking at them all
“Yes Star we know who it is you are safe now we took care of him” Celestia said pulling her son into a hug
“Well good to know seeing as now i might be able to sleep a little bit” Star said laying his head down on his pillow

Star woke up later that night to see a pony with a white face but no eyes or anything he coat was black as he looked into Star’s eyes
“You can never escape me i am always watching you and always will for ever” SlenderMane said
