Twilight Sparkle has faced her last problem, at least, that's what she thinks. Cozy Glow, Queen Chrysalis, and Tirek have been placed in stone imprisonment, locked away for eternity for their crimes. But when one story ends, another one begins.

"You can take my cutie mark, but you can’t take what makes me… me! Hope. Hope for a better future, for all ponies to make their mark. That’s why you and I are never going to be the same, Opaline. Because I have hope. And I have friendship."

Sunny Starscout, once misfit turned hero of Equestria. She, along with her friends, were able to return magic and friendship back to Equestria. But soon after, she had to defeat Opaline Arcana, alicorn of fire. With her hope and friendship, she was able to stop Opaline from gaining power and trap her in a Together Tree. But then she had to travel to Starlight Ridge and free the Auroracorns from Allura, a winged leopard with the power to control anypony with her "purr".

Fortunately, she was able to stop Allura and return freedom to the Auroracorns. But there is so much else to be done, and so little time. Screenplay, an indigo alicorn, must show these ponies the lessons of the past to bring a better future.
