The air was crisp and warm that mid-summer day. I raised my hoof and knocked on the door before me and waited for a response. All I could think to myself was; "why me? I’m not a work horse, why would Celestia ask me to come here to Ponyville to help on a farm?" My face was full of confusion.
"Could this be punishment for what happened?" Wasn't getting fired from a great job be punishment enough?"
Not only am I the ex-water boy of the Wonderbolts but now I have to buck apples?" "What sorcery? "
My train of thought was stopped, by a voice in sound the house.
"Spike get the door will you please?
Suddenly the door opened in front of me, but no one was there. “Excuse me? Can I help you?” a voice said followed by “Eh-hem. Down here.”
I looked down and there before me was a purple dragon, I couldn't help but jump a little out of surprise.
"Wow! A dragon, “Um…Yeah I’m looking for a miss Twilight Sparkle,” I began “does she live here or around here? I’m supposed to living here during my time here in Ponyville by order of Princess Celestia.”
“You’re in the right place, spike replied happy as ever to meet me.
"Come on in." He continued. What did you do to be sent here to work by Celestia?”
I replied, “I’d rather not get into it; I’m embarrassed enough as it is.”
“When do you start working at Sweet Apple Acres?” Spike with a confusing look.
“Tomorrow morning, some pony named Apple Jack is supposed to come get me in the morning.” Thoughts in my mind on what this miss applejack was like.
“Ha-ha, spike said in a loud chuckle.
"You should go to sleep early tonight. Trust me you’ll need all the sleep you can get.”
“Huh?” I replied, wondering what he meant.
“Oh you’ll see” he has a mysterious smirk on his face.
“Um…Ok?” I replied in so much confusion I fear what tomorrow may bring me.
I picked up my bag and brought it into the tree house where I saw a bed by one of the many book shelves at the bottom of the stairs. That was my bed for my stay since there was no room upstairs. I dropped my bag by my bed before turning around to be greeted by a lavender unicorn with a bluish mane with a purple and pink stripe. “You must be Twilight. Right?” I said after a moment’s pause
“Yes and you are Clover Tune I presume?” With a know-it-all smirk.
“Indeed I am” I said, I stood up tall.
“Well go ahead and unpack your things, replied with a smile.
My friend Pinkie Pie invited us over for dinner since you are new to Ponyville. Normally she would throw a party but everyone is too busy tonight.”
I thought to myself oh wow a dinner party just for me? "Wow! Ponyville has some nice friendly mares, and colts. Not like where I'm from."
I lazily began unpacking what little I brought from Hoofington. My blanket, pillow, a couple photos to help me feel more at home, and some personal Hygiene stuff. I let out a yawn and got comfortable on my bed. Closing my eyes for a couple minutes won’t hurt any pony. I wasn't able to sleep on the train ride here. I laid my head on my pillow and quietly drifted off to sleep.
