After meeting Vinyl Scratch by chance a few months after the Battle of the Bands, Adagio Dazzle begins to wonder why the girl was unaffected by the sirens' magic. How did a human do what can only be done with Equestrian magic? With no other available option, Adagio decides to get her answers through friendship.

Although the cover art is based on a poster for the 1991 film The Silence of the Lambs, the story itself has nothing to do with that movie. I just like the poster.
