CYOA: A Day in Ponyville

Previous ChapterNext ChapterA single blue scale from a dragon? How hard could that be?
You take off towards the mountains. If there's one place to find a dragon, that'd be it. Besides, rumors of them frequenting Ponyville came from the mountains. "If I was a dragon, where would I hang out?" You trot up along the steep path, your eyes on the cliffside for any hints of appropriate caverns.
You look over your shoulder at the pleasant town. Such a quaint place, and hardly anything bad happened in all the time you've been here. It made the most sense for dragons to make their home elsewhere, and avoid your new friends down there. There was one time a red dragon was chased off, but that was for making too much smoke.
That was before Princess Twilight started a school. You were pretty sure they even had a dragon attending it! They weren't blue though. That would have made this so much easier.
You keep along, but with all the openings, it's hard to be sure just which one is worth investigating. You peek into the dark opening of one, blinking as your eyes adjust. Nothing of note is within, just rocks and pebbles. With a sigh, you move on to the next, and the next after that. Much of the afternoon goes by before you find anything worth going over.
You climb up on some rocks to peer into a higher cavern. A strange rattling sound from within makes you pause. It sounded like some sort of bug? That was an appropriate dragon noise, right?
Entirely unsure, you creep forward as quietly as you can, barely scraping your belly on the rocks beneath you. You pause, holding your breath, but there is no further sound from within. You have to do this! The best present for Pinkie Pie is one of those scaly hides, at least one scale. You just hope that one dropped somewhere and you can grab it and run.
You poke your head in first, careful to move as quietly as possible. Your eyes dart about, trying to see something. Your ears twist this way and that, hoping to hear something.
That rattle sounds again. It comes from inside a rocky den. Some kind of red object is splayed across the entrance. It seems out of place. You come closer, stepping on all four hooves carefully.
"I'm still not interested," came a bored female voice. "I don't like big angry dragons. I retired next to the ponies for a reason. Buzz off."
Do you:
A: Approach the female dragon with your best smile and charm.
B: Stay quiet!
