You gently push Pinkie back. "This is my day off. I want to relax. I'm going to go see my friend Applejack." You break away from her, determined to avoid any more of her ideas. "I'll talk to you later, Pinkie."

You speed along the road out of town. As you do, you slow down as you notice something a bit odd. Smoke is raising from the Apple homestead! You rush forward to investigate to discover the Apples out front, enjoying a barbeque, though they seem to be roasting various fruits and veggies, with a clear apple theme to it all.

Applejack catches sight of you, waving. "Come on over! It's nice enough out fer some grub." She tosses a watermelon off into a basket. "Takin' a break from chores to eat. Feel free to join in."

You meet Applejack with a firm clop of hooves. "Thought I'd come see how a fellow farmer was doing."

"Doin' mighty good!" Applejack waves at the sizzling grill. "Your timin' couldn't be better! Want some fruit kabobs?"

"Why not?" You accept one, eager to share their day. It seems as if the whole family is around, munching on all sorts of treats. You take a bite of the sweet treat, smiling. "Mmm, delicious."

Granny Smith eyes you as you eat. "Never thought you'd want to hang around with a bunch of Apples, but we'll have ya." She offers you another. "It's a good year fer us. It goin' well over at yer farm?"

You nod slowly. "So far, so good. I hope it stays that way. I'm thinking about looking into other ways to grow things."

"Well, let us know if ya need any help with anything. Apple family always looks out for each other." Applejack pulls you into a tight hug. "Good to have you with us."

That's the Apple family for you. Every time you see them, they're having some kind of get together or something.

It's nice to feel like part of a family sometimes.

At least until the sudden shrill scream.

Applejack looks around in a panic. "Wait a sec'! Where'd Apple Bloom get off to?!"

You peer into the chaos. Apple Bloom is not around, which is unusual. You didn't even notice she was missing. The rest of the family doesn't have any idea where she went either. It turns out she disappeared in the commotion.

You:

A: Take off towards that scream.

B: Trust in Applejack to handle this. She's a pro!
