Fluttershy Wants To What?!
Discord moaned with a lazy smile as he felt his body receiving massages. He laid down on the couch in his home in his chaotic dimension with his eyes closed as a pair of white gloves squeezed his arms, legs, back, and tail muscles tenderly.
“Oh yeah…that’s the spot.” he murmured as he let out a relaxed sigh.
In the following weeks after the Summer Sun Celebration, which happened to be Celestia and Luna’s final once due to their retirement plans, he’d done nothing except for relaxing in his dwelling in between his weekly tea parties with Fluttershy.
Ah, Fluttershy. He remembered how stressed out she was after the Summer Sun Celebration, and all it took was a surprise spa appointment that he signed her up for to ease her worries and return her to her normal mood. She of course thanked him with a hug before they both went their separate ways, promising to see each other very soon at their next Tuesday Tea.
Discord’s relaxed smile turned into a happy one as he thought about the yellow Pegasus. He’d come a long way since his reformation and never thought in all the time he existed he would obtain the one thing he never thought he wanted.
A friend.
A small chuckle escaped him as he remembered the day when he and Fluttershy first became friends. It was after he heard that Celestia wanted him to be reformed and to use his magic for good purposes instead of evil. In his stone statue, he merely just rolled his eyes with a scoff. There was no way in the wide world of Equestria he would ever parade around and do good deeds for the amusements of the ponies, he had thought back then. That is, until a certain Element of Kindness touched his heart unexpectedly.
When he invited the rest of the bearers of the Elements of Harmony over to Fluttershy’s cottage for dinner, they were uncomfortable by the M.C. Escher interior and suspicious of the Draconequus’ real motives. He knew they didn’t trust him and didn’t mind in the slightest. It was then when he was being accused of several wrong things during the dinner when Fluttershy defended him and called him his friend. For the first time in his life, he was genuinely surprised by her unexpected declaration. When she confirmed their friendship was true, he felt touched, like someone had tugged at his stone cold heart and started it after being dormant for over a thousand years.
It was then when Fluttershy left him with a scowl and said that she wasn’t his friend after he turned the flooded water in Sweet Apple Acres that he realized that their friendship meant more to him than spreading chaos, and the thought of losing his only friend made him sad, thus resulting in his reformation.
Discord let out a sigh. He would never forget that day, not to mention all the times he and the yellow Pegasus spent together. ‘I should probably thank her for-’
He opened his eyes suddenly and sat up as a lit lightbulb materialized above his head. The gloves that were massaging him back away at his sudden move as the Draconequus smiled to himself while rubbing his hands together craftily. “I should thank Fluttershy for being my friend!” he said as he stood up and snapped his fingers, causing the gloves to disappear in a flash of light.
He teleported outside his house and summoned his thinking tree as he dangled from one of the branches by his tail. “Now then, what to do, what to do…”
“I suggest you do something grand.” a voice from his left spoke up as Discord turned to see a clone of himself wearing a pair of glasses and sitting in a wide and comfy chair floating next to him. “Don’t do something like you did back in Season 7. That was quite the fright.”
Discord nodded in agreement, remembering when he turned his home into something more normal for Fluttershy’s tastes, only to discover that being normal was making him fade away. “Well what do you suggest?” he asked. “I’m not a wise old geek like you.”
“True, mainly because you never listen to any of my ideas,” his clone commented. “However, I think you’ll like what I have in mind for you.”
“I’m listening.” the Lord of Chaos let go of the branch as he floated in mid air and shifted his position to rightside up.
“I suggest you take Fluttershy someplace with lots of nature and have a picnic with her, because you know her. She loves animals, or anything naturey.”
Discord nodded as he rubbed his chin in thought with his lion paw. The only question is, where could he take her, somewhere with lots of animals and flowers and…
“Wait a minute, that’s it!” he suddenly shouted. “The Canterlot Gardens!”
“Oh?” His clone raised an eyebrow in curiosity and interest. “Why there?”
“While it’s where I spent the last millennia as a lawn ornament, Fluttershy told me once that she loved the garden when she visited it during the Grand Galloping Gala. While her visit ruined that evening, she was still happy to go there. So…”
“...If you take her there for a picnic…”
“Then that’ll show her how much I appreciate her!” Discord concluded excitedly as he summoned a picnic basket. “Ohhoho, this is a brilliant plan. We can even have tea together.”
The front door to his house opened as his Tea for Two tea set floated outside and into the basket.
“As well as my famous cucumber sandwiches…”
Ten cucumber sandwiches on a single tray floated from the kitchen and into the basket.
“And we can even have some chocolate milk!”
Two glasses of chocolate milk with straws in them floated into the basket as the lid closed. Discord snapped his fingers, causing the front door to change from being open to close in a flash of light as he addressed his counterpart. “I don’t know how to thank you for the idea you helped me come up with.”
“No problem, m’boy.” the Discord clone smiled at him. “Now don’t just float there, you have a Fluttershy to thank.”
“That I do!” the Lord of Chaos said confidently as he snapped his fingers and made his clone disappear before disappearing in a flash of light.
Discord teleported in front of the front door to Fluttershy’s cottage as he knocked on it and waited patiently. No response came from inside. After a few moments of more waiting, he knocked on it again, only to receive similar results.
“She’s probably in her animal sanctuary.” he said aloud as he teleported to Sweet Feather Sanctuary.
He reappeared in the trees next to the small river and wooden bridge that went over it as he pulled out a pair of binocular goggles and peeked out from behind the leaves with just his head sticking out, immediately spotting Fluttershy crossing the wooden bridge with an unhappy expression. He knew he shouldn’t be spying on his friend like this, but curiosity got the better of him and he couldn’t bring himself to stop. Thankfully, neither Fluttershy or the animals saw him.
“Anybody know where that useless list of Fluttershy’s chores is?” she asked in a mean tone as all the animals turned to look at her.
Discord raised an eyebrow. ‘Useless list? And since when did she speak in the first person?’
He watched the yellow Pegasus continue to walk with a scowl until a familiar voice caused her to stop with slightly dilated pupils.
“Hey, Fluttershy!”
She looked up onto the tree where the voice came from to see Dr. Fauna smiling down at her with Smokey, Softpad, and Smokey jr. next to her. “I was starting to wonder if you’d make it back.”
“Fluttershy! Oh, yeah, uh, that’s me. Definitely Fluttershy, uh, hundred percent.” the yellow Pegasus confirmed.
Dr. Fauna and the three racoons next to her looked at each other with confused expressions as she turned back. “Okay?”
“See how ‘shy’ I am?” Fluttershy turned away with a forced cute look of shyness with a smile to match.
Discord looked at her through his binocular goggles with even more confusion. His number 1 friend never confirmed herself like that, not even with fake shyness just to prove it. She didn’t even need to do that anyway. Just what was going on with this pony?
“I talk to animals, I wanna marry Discord.”
Wait, WHAT?!
Discord stared at her with the biggest amount of shock he’d ever felt in his entire life as he slowly pulled back behind the leaves and removed the binocular goggles from his eyes, which were dinner plate wide as he processed what he just saw.
Fluttershy entered the animal sanctuary and asked where her list of ‘useless’ chores is in the first person, she confirmed her identity to Dr. Fauna with fake confidence and acted being shy, and to top it all off, she said that she wanted to marry him. HIM! The legendary spirit of chaos and disharmony!
‘Fluttershy wants to marry ME?’ Discord thought as he pulled out a q-tip and cleaned his ears. “Perhaps I misheard her.”
He summoned a television screen and a pair of headphones as he picked up the remote and turned on the flat screen. He summoned a pear of 3D glasses and put them on as he put on the headphones and pressed play on the TV remote. He pressed the right arrow button and skipped past the things he just saw ever since coming into this tree up until the part where Fluttershy turned away cutely with a smile and pressed play.
“I talk to animals, I wanna marry Discord.”
He pressed the left arrow button and rewound a few seconds back to her cute turn away.
“I talk to animals, I wanna marry Discord.”
He rewound the video feed the same amount of time as the previous attempt as he pressed the record button.
“I talk to animals, I wanna marry Discord.”
The Draconequus pressed pause on his remote as pressed play on his recording and set it to repeat, listening closely.
“I talk to animals, I wanna marry Discord. I talk to animals, I wanna marry Discord. I talk to animals, I wanna marry Discord. I talk to animals, I wanna marry Discord. I talk to animals, I wanna marry Discord. I talk to animals, I wanna marry Discord.”
Discord then set the recording to the 4 words that captured his attention and set it to repeat.
“I wanna marry Discord, I wanna marry Discord, I wanna marry Discord, I wanna marry Discord, I wanna marry Discord, I wanna marry Discord, I wanna marry Discord, I wanna marry Discord.”
He made his television screen, headphones, and 3D glasses disappear in a flash of light as he began to process the information given to him.
Fluttershy wants to marry him.
The fact that she openly confessed this with no embarrassment or shyness at all was quite the bombshell. No one had ever wanted to marry him before, and he was now feeling mixed emotions over the breaking news.
He was conflicted between shouting in joy and sharing the news to the entire world starting with the MANE 6 and the 3 princesses, laughing at how utterly ridiculous and hilarious this was, or just letting his jaw drop deep below the earth’s crust.
Yet here Discord sat, filled with nothing with the largest amount of shock and confusion he’d ever felt. “What in the name of Scorpan is going on with Fluttershy?” he muttered under his breath as he put back on his binocular goggles and stuck his head out from behind the leaves.
“Your list is over there.” Dr. Fauna pointed to the said list as Fluttershy turned to look at it, which coincidentally happened to be nailed into the tree where the Lord of Chaos was spying on her from within the leaves up in the treetops.
“Ah yeah, there’s my dull list of chores that I will absolutely not rush to because I definitely do not have better things to do.” the yellow Pegasus said sarcastically as she stalked over to it with another scowl.
Discord peered down at her as she made her way towards his hiding spot and pulled back inside the leaves. ‘Now’s my chance to see what’s going on.’ he thought as he made his binocular goggles disappear and teleported from his hiding spot.
He reappeared in front of Fluttershy as she jumped with a small scream. “Hello, Fluttershy!” Discord said cheerfully as he scooped her up into his arms and gently squeezed her. “It’s so good to see you, my dear.”
Unbeknownst to the Draconequus, ‘Fluttershy’ was really Angel inside of his caretaker's body. While the Pegasus-turned bunny wanted to reel back in disgust and insult the Lord of Chaos, he knew that it would only reveal his true identity.
Wrapping his forelegs around Discord’s chest, Angel/Fluttershy forced a smile upon his features. “Hi, Discord. It’s so good to see you.” he said, making his female voice as sweet and happy as possible.
The trick worked as Discord squeezed the yellow Pegasus for a second before placing her back on the ground. “Now, I’m sure you’re wondering why I’m here,” he said. “But rest assured, it’s for a very good reason.”
“Well, I am pretty curious.” Angel/Fluttershy said as he made his expression into one of curiosity.
“To answer your question, I wish to treat you to a picnic.” Discord replied. “However, I can see that you’re busy here in your sanctuary, so I understand if you’re not available today.”
“Sorry Discord, but you’re right. I’m too busy to have a picnic today.” Angel/Fluttershy said with fake disappointment as he gave the Draconequus an adorably sad look. “Maybe we can hang out together tomorrow.”
“Perhaps. I am free if you’re wondering.”
“I think a picnic tomorrow sounds like a lovely idea.” the Pegasus-turned bunny smiled at him before an idea struck him. Throughout all of Discord’s visits to Fluttershy’s cottage, he could very well see that the chaos spirit was an absolute sucker for the yellow Pegasus, similar to how happy she is every time she sees him. Perhaps he should have a little fun with him.
“Well then, you got yourself a day out with your best friend in the world.” Discord grinned down at Fluttershy before bowing. “Adieu, my dear.”
“Wait.”
Before he could snap his fingers and teleport back to his dimension, Fluttershy jumped onto him and wrapped her forelegs around his chest, nearly knocking him down as she gazed up at him with a sweet smile. “Don’t go yet, you just got here.”
Discord looked down at her for a moment before slowly wrapping his arms around her body, noticing how every single animal in the sanctuary was watching them, including Dr. Fauna.
He snapped his tail tuft and teleported them to a more isolated part of the animal sanctuary.
“Thank you.” the Pegasus-turned bunny smiled at him as she nuzzled into his neck, causing an odd feeling to radiate from within Discord’s body.
“My my, what’s gotten you so happy, Fluttershy?” he asked. “I never knew you to nuzzle me like that, not that it’s a bad thing.”
“It’s because I missed you.” Angel/Fluttershy said as he smiled warmly at him. “It’s been far too long since we last saw each other.”
“We saw each other on Tuesday for our tea party, remember?”
“Oh, y-yes. Sorry, I forgot.” the yellow Pegasus grinned sheepishly, causing the Lord of Chaos to give him a confused look. “But anyway, I missed you. I missed hearing your voice and feeling you against me, and I really love it when you make me laugh.”
Discord remained silent, curious to see where this was going.
“Discord? There’s something I’ve been meaning to tell you for a while.” Angel/Fluttershy said as he turned away shyly.
“What is it?” he softly asked.
“I…I…I love you.”
For the second time that day, he was left speechless. He opened his mouth to say something, only for nothing to come out. ‘She…she loves me?!’
That’s when it all made sense. Throughout their entire friendship, Discord noticed how Fluttershy became more comfortable around his presence and became happier when his visits became more frequent. Despite all the mistakes he made, the Element of Kindness always found it within her to forgive him and give him more chances.
“I know this sounds like a joke, but I really do have feelings for you.” Angel/Fluttershy snapped him out of his thoughts as he looked to see him gazing at him lovingly.
“You…you do?” Discord asked shakily, still in disbelief.
“Mmm-hmm. I love you.”
The Draconequus felt a smile pull at his mouth as he cleared his throat. “Well I uh, I am one of a kind after all, though I never expected you of all ponies to have feelings for me.”
Angel/Fluttershy placed a loving kiss on his cheek, causing his heart to skip a beat. “Well I do.” he stated confidently. “I love you, Discord. I love you with all my heart.”
“Well…I…l-love you too.” Discord murmured shyly with a bashful smile, feeling as if his heart was melting within his chest.
The yellow Pegasus smiled lovingly at him before an idea formulated in the Pegasus-turned bunny’s head. He was going to regret it immensely, but if it meant messing with his caretaker’s chaotic friend, then so be it.
“Well, now that we’re alone…” Angel/Fluttershy said, making his female voice seductive as he began to pepper Discord’s face with kisses, fighting the urge to gag.
“Fluttershy…” Discord spoke up as he pulled his head away from her, still holding him in his arms. “Now isn’t the time to do such a thing. Plus, we aren’t even married.”
“We will be in the future.” the yellow Pegasus purred as she reached up and successfully planted a kiss on his chin. “Besides, what’s wrong with a little love?”
“Nothing’s wrong, but now isn’t the time and place for such things. Besides, don’t you have to get started with your list of chores?”
“Oh they can wait.” Angel/Fluttershy shrugged nonchalantly.
“But-”
He was cut off as she pecked him on the lips, giving him the cutest look he’d ever seen her make, granted the only one before she resumed her loving look. “Whatever my chores are can wait.”
“Flutter…”
His voice trailed off as he felt her tongue slowly slide up the left side of his long gray neck, causing a shiver to go run down his spine as her tongue reached below his ear. She lightly nipped it, causing the Draconequus to jump before peppering his face with more kisses.
“It…smooch…can…smooch…wait.”
Not taking no for an answer, Angel/Fluttershy pressed his/her lips against Discord’s as he fought with all his strength to not give in. he was a master with self control when it came to his emotions (most of the time) and used all his will power against the new found desire for his friend, but her lips were so delicious, and it was making it harder for him to resist.
Fluttershy pulled away and lightly stroked Discord’s chin with a seductive look as he felt a low rumble sound emit from his throat.
He was fighting the urge to purr.
“Don’t you see? There’s nothing wrong with a little love.” the yellow Pegasus murmured in a sultry tone. “So go ahead, love me. I won’t mind.”
Feeling all his strength failed him, Discord pressed his lips against hers as they shared a passionate kiss. He moved forward until her back was against a tree as they moaned against each other's lips and closed their eyes, blushing passionately.
He slipped his snake-like tongue through his lips and licked hers in permission, causing her to open her mouth a fraction and allow his tongue to slip inside her mouth and rub against her own tongue. They both let out low moans as they pulled each other closer, deepening the kiss.
It was becoming harder and harder for Angel to not push away the Draconequus in disgust and throw up, but he had to admit; Discord’s lips did feel good against Fluttershy’s, and he had no idea he was such a skilled kisser. If they kept this love making up, they could…they could…
No longer taking it, Angel shoved Discord away and fell to the ground as the Draconequus stumbled back before righting himself, snapping out of his daze. He looked to see his favorite pony in the world glaring at him fiercely.
“Why did you do that?!” Angel/Fluttershy demanded, not at all bothering to hide the hatred and disgust in his female Pegasus voice.
“Fluttershy?” Discord looked at her with confusion and concern. “What’s wrong?”
“You, that’s what! You kissed me!”
“Only because you made me.” the Draconequus argued. “And you even seemed to enjoy it.”
Feeling a wave of disgust overcome him, Angel ran to the nearest bush and released all the vomit he held back. Discord watched it with even more confusion. Why would Fluttershy suddenly want to make love to him only to force him away from her with anger and disgust.
After releasing one last wave of vomit, the yellow Pegasus turned back to him with a hateful glare, further confusing him. “Don’t ever do that ever again.” she said coldly.
“What?” Discord uttered with confusion, hurt mixing into his voice. “But I thought you loved that kiss.”
“Loved it? Loved it?” Fluttershy bursted into laughter and collapsed onto the ground, but these weren’t her cute and sweet giggles, this was a mean laugh mixed with cruel amusement. “I didn’t love that kiss, and I don’t love you!”
The Draconequus felt a stab at his heart. “But…you said that you love me.”
“I lied.” the yellow Pegasus said bluntly as she stood up and faced him. “I never loved you, and Fluttershy would never love a bitch like you.”
Discord froze. There she goes again, speaking in the first person, and not only that, but she called him the ‘B’ word. While it did hurt to receive such a comment, it caused another huge wave of confusion. What was wrong with this pony? It was as if she wasn’t Fluttershy herself.
Wait a minute.
He stared down at his friend as he began to contemplate the way Fluttershy was behaving ever since returning from who knows where else. She didn’t sound soft nor her usual self, she never acted like she was shy and openly admitted to wanting to marry the spirit of chaos. Not only that, but she never made love to any male, nor mare, in her animal sanctuary.
That’s when the answer spoke out to him.
Discord glared at the so-called Fluttershy as he leaned down to her eye level. “You’re not Fluttershy.’ he growled. “Who are you?”
Angel/Fluttershy smirked at the Draconequus. “Figure it out yourself, Dishrag.”
‘Dishrag? Who on earth would call me Dishrag?’ Discord thought. ‘The only one who’d call me that besides Rainbow Dash would be…’
Realization hit him. “Angel?”
Seeing his cover blown, the Pegasus-turned bunny shot the Draconequus another smirk. “Took you long enough to figure that out.”
“What are you doing in Fluttershy’s body, and where is she?” Discord demanded.
“Heck if I should know. Zecora gave us a potion that made us switch bodies.”
“But where is Fluttershy?” the Draconequus repeated. “If you stitched bodies like you claim, then you have to know where she went.”
“I didn’t see her.” Angel shrugged as if he didn’t care. “She’s probably experienced what I did when I was still a bunny. Maybe now she’ll understand me better.”
“Understand you better? What are you talking about?”
“If you find Fluttershy and switch us back she’ll explain it better. Oh, and by the way, did you like that kiss?” the Pegasus-turned bunny fluttered his female eyelashes.
Discord felt a blush of anger, embarrassment, and disgust heat his face as he huffed out a small cloud of smoke and glared at the troublemaker. It took all his willpower to not grab Angel by the neck and squeeze it tightly. “I’m going to go and find Fluttershy.”
“Sure, go on. What’s stopping you?”
“Nothing.” The Draconequus leaned close to Angel’s pony ear. “But let me go ahead and warn you.” he spoke in a low and dangerous tone. “If anything bad happens to Fluttershy, I’ll make my rule over Equestria seem like child's play compared to the punishment I’ll have in store for you. Got it?”
Angel gulped with a nod, knowing full well that a powerful being like Discord could do anything if you got on his bad side.
“Good.” Discord nodded. “I’ll be right back, but stay here.”
And with that, he disappeared in a flash of light as Angel let out an annoyed sigh. “Oh how I hate him.”
Discord reappeared in the air and put on his binocular goggles as he searched the ground for Fluttershy, or at least a distressed white bunny. His gaze soon turned to a nearby pathway as he spotted a white bunny trying to communicate with Princess Twilight Sparkle and Spike.
‘Target located.’
He teleported down to his targeted location as Twilight, Spike, and the white bunny he assumed to be Fluttershy jumped a little at his sudden appearance. “Hello, my friends. I’m terribly sorry for the intrusion but it seems that Angel here has strayed far from the animal sanctuary.” he said as he scooped the small lagomorph into his hands. “So, ta ta!”
He disappeared in a flash of light as the Princess of Friendship and her number 1 assistant shared confused looks before shrugging and going about their business.
Discord, Angel, and Fluttershy all appeared inside her cottage with Angel and Fluttershy sitting on the couch and the Lord of Chaos standing in front of them.
“Before we move any further, let’s go ahead and switch you both back to your normal selves.” the Draconequus said as he summoned a magic wand and made it glow, pointing it at the pair as they suddenly found themselves being rushed back into their respective bodies.
“No need to thank me.” Discord said as he made his wand disappear. “Before I forget…”
He scooped Fluttershy up into his arms and hugged her, happy that she was back as herself. “It’s good to see you, Fluttershy.”
“It’s…good to see you too.” The yellow Pegasus mare smiled as she hugged him back before sitting back down on the couch. “ But why did you switch me and Angel back to ourselves?”
“Which brings me to my question.” Discord said in response as he summoned a chair, notepad and quill, and a pair of glasses on his face. “Why did you both switch bodies?”
“Well, me and Angel were getting frustrated with each other.” Fluttershy explained. “He’s constantly trying to get my attention whenever he feels like it. Whenever I'm busy with the chores at the animal sanctuary or grading homework and assignments at the School of Friendship, he interrupts me and always says that I don’t give him enough attention. It makes me think he doesn’t care about how important my tasks are.”
“Mmm-hmm.” Discord hummed as he wrote down her. “Anything else?”
“Angel can get really picky with what he wants to eat, and he’s really demanding and impatient when he’s hungry.”
“Big surprise.” the Draconequus muttered under his breath with an eye roll.
“What was that?”
“Nothing!” he grinned innocently before returning to his psychological look. “Is that all, my dear?”
“Yes.” Fluttershy replied as he nodded and stopped writing.
“Alright, and what about you, Angel?” Discord turned to the white lagomorph. “What is it that you want Fluttershy to understand?”
Angel turned away with a huff as he folded his arms together. He squeaked, “I don’t wanna talk about it.”
“Really? Not in the slightest?”
He turned around with surprise. “You can understand what I’m saying?’
“Of course I can.” Discord replied bluntly. “I am the master of all things impossible after all, and understanding the many different animal languages across Equestria is one of them.”
“Wow, I didn’t realize that before.” Fluttershy said with amazement.
“Well I am full of surprises.” the Draconequus boasted before returning to the task at hoof. “So, Angel. What’s been on your mind to make you switch bodies?”
“Well, since you asked, I’m sick of Fluttershy always taking so long to do what I want.” Angel replied. “She’s too busy to even give me the attention I want. Plus, she’s always babying me.”
“I don’t baby you, Angel.” Fluttershy argued. “And we’ve talked about this; my tasks can’t wait, and you should really learn to be more patient.”
“But I don’t wanna wait.” he glared at her. “Even though you’ve been in my body for a little bit, you still clearly don’t know what it’s like to be a bunny.”
The yellow Pegasus glared back with frustration. “And you still have no idea how busy I am, young man.”
Discord watched the two of them. While it was rather entertaining to see them quarreling like siblings, he knew he had to do something to get them to understand each other. Perhaps having them in their opposite bodies was a better idea after all.
‘Wait a minute…’
He cleared his throat and got Fluttershy and Angel's attention as they turned to look at him. “If I may, I have a solution that’ll help you.”
“What is it?” Fluttershy asked.
“You both should go back into your opposite bodies.”
Both the yellow Pegasus and her pet bunny raised a brow at him.
“Think about it.” Discord held up his paw, pausing them from any kind of questions they were going to ask. “Zecora gave you that potion to swap bodies so that you could understand each other, right?”
They both nodded.
“Well, I think you both should spend the rest of the day as your opposite selves. That way, you both can gain an even bigger understanding towards each other.” he explained. “I mean, you both had a small glimpse, and I highly doubt it was good enough for you both to come to an understanding.”
Angel and Fluttershy turned to each other. “I…guess it wouldn’t hurt to continue being a bunny.” the yellow Pegasus said.
“And being a Pegasus could have some advantages.” Angel squeaked.
“Well, alright then.” Discord made his glasses and notepad disappear. “Are you both ready to be in your opposite bodies?”
Fluttershy and Angel looked at each other for a moment before nodding. “We’re ready.”
Discord snapped his fingers as a bright light illuminated the duo on the couch. Once the light subsided, they looked to see that they were once again in each other’s opposite bodies.
“The spell will wear off once you finally know what it’s like to be your opposite selves.” Discord explained. “No go on, the day won’t last forever.”
“Yeah, let's get this over with.” Angel said as he rose to his hooves and marched out the front door boldly.
Fluttershy looked up at Discord with a nervous look.
“Don’t worry, my dear.” he smiled at her. “You’ll be fine, and if a predator tries to eat you, they’ll have to answer to me.”
The bunny-turned Pegasus hesitated for a moment before hopping outside, giving Discord a smile as she went off.
Discord summoned a watch and looked at it. It was a few minutes past 9:00 pm and Fluttershy and Angel had yet to return. The Draconequus had been laying down on the couch all afternoon patiently, dozing off a couple times. Despite feeling extremely bored, he stayed strong in hopes that Fluttershy and Angel would return.
His ears perked up when he heard the front door open as he turned to see none other than Fluttershy and Angel. From the looks of it, they looked as if they’d suffered the hardest day of their entire lives. Fluttershy’s mane and tail had several small twigs and leaves in them and there were scratches along her legs. Her eyes were half lidded and there were bags underneath her eyelids. She carried Angel, who was fast asleep against her chest in her foreleg.
“Ah, I see that you’ve returned, Fluttershy,” said Discord softly. “How did today go?”
“It was exhausting,” the yellow Pegasus groaned as she took a seat on the couch next to him. “I got chased by several predators and nopony could understand me when I tried to talk to them. I got lost on my way back to the animal sanctuary, but I managed to get there. But when I did…”
Discord nodded. ‘I really should’ve put a warning spell on her.’
“Oh Angel, he messed up more than half of the chores.” Fluttershy continued, looking at her sleeping pet. “He was supposed to give Purry the cat her bath, but he just threw her into the pond, causing her to attack him. When he was supposed to give Harry a massage, he accidentally squeezed his muscles too tightly. Let’s just say Harry didn’t take that too well.”
“So, to sum it up, Angel was the worst animal caretaker you’ve ever seen.” Discord concluded.
“Well, I wouldn’t say the worst.”
“You don’t have to hide it, my dear. I know you too well to see that you’re too kind hearted to tell the harsh truth.”
Fluttershy looked away for a moment before nodding. “You’re right. It took me and Dr. Fauna all day to redo everything that was messed up, but we finished without incident.”
“That’s good.” Discord commented. “And I assume you both understand each other now?”
“Yes, and we even promised to always talk about our problems.” she nodded as she scooted closer to him and leaned against his side with an exhausted sigh.
The Draconequus smiled at her and draped his arm around her shoulder as she nuzzled into his side with a small smile. He felt a tug at his heart as his smile fell. Now was his chance to talk to her about what he experienced earlier this afternoon.
“Fluttershy? Can we talk…In private?” he asked hesitantly.
She looked up at him. “Well…sure. Just let me go and put Angel to bed and wash up and I’ll be back down.”
Discord nodded as she stood up and carried her pet bunny upstairs. He then heard the gentle closing of a door followed by the opening and closing of another door as he waited patiently. After several minutes, he heard the bathroom door open and close as Fluttershy descended down the staircase, no longer dirty from the work at the animal sanctuary.
‘Hm, she smells nice.’ he thought as she went up to the couch and sat down next to him.
“What is it you want to talk about?” Fluttershy asked as she looked up at him.
“Well…” Discord hesitated. This is where things got hard. How would she react when she learned about the way Angel behaved? Should he lie, or be openly honest about his experience earlier this afternoon?
“Tell me.” The yellow Pegasus took his lion paw into her hooves as she gently stroked it. “Tell me what happened.” she spoke in a soft and gentle tone.
The Draconequus felt an odd sense of comfort and warmth from her motherly comfort as he let out a sigh. “Earlier this afternoon when I popped in to visit you, I saw that you weren’t acting like yourself, completely oblivious to the fact that it was Angel in your body.”
He paused as he noticed that Fluttershy was still holding his paw and not saying anything, patiently waiting for him to continue.
“While he was pretending to be you, he said something very bizarre.”
“What was it?” Fluttershy asked.
The Draconequus hesitated for a second. “He said that you want to marry me.”
Her eyes widened. “What?!” she nearly screamed as her hooves flew to her mouth, hoping she didn’t wake any of the sleeping animals in her cottage. Thankfully, not a single soul awoke from their lumber.
“Angel said that you want to marry me.” Discord repeated softly. “And if you don’t believe me, check this out.”
He snapped his fingers as a small television screen materialized and floated in front of Fluttershy. It began to play a video as she watched it intently.
“I talk to animals, I wanna marry Discord.”
The video paused as the yellow Pegasus felt a blush coat her cheeks
“That’s not the only thing your so-called ‘Angel’ did today.” Discord spoke up as he fast-forwarded the paused video to when he and the Pegasus-turned bunny were alone in a secluded part of Sweet Feather Sanctuary. He pressed the resume button on a remote he randomly summoned as Fluttershy watched it, afraid where this was going.
Her blush soon spread across her face as she watched Angel and Discord kiss each other passionately.
Out of all the things Angel had done, this was by far the most appalling thing he’d ever done since she took him into her care. Not only did he toy with Discord’s emotions, but he forced himself upon the chaos lord.
“Oh…my.” Fluttershy uttered as the video screen paused the video and disappeared into thin air.
“I know, this was quite the experience.” Discord agreed. “I mean, we both know you don’t want to marry me, let alone attracted to Draconequui.” he hesitated for a moment when he noticed his number one friend turn away. “Right, Fluttershy?”
She continued to avoid eye contact with him as she felt another blush coat her cheeks. What could she say? Should she say that she does want to marry him? That she does have feelings for him? Even if she did tell him the truth, he would reject her, especially after being toyed.
She felt a claw gently turn her head towards him as he looked at her with concern. “Is everything alright, Fluttershy?” he asked softly.
Fluttershy hesitated for a moment before gulping. “Discord? There’s something that I’ve been meaning to tell you.”
‘Uh oh.’ he thought nervously. Was this deja vu?
“I...I…I…I have feelings for you!” she quickly blurted out as Discord froze.
‘Please tell me this is a joke.’ he thought. Usually he was the one who joked around, not when he was the joke.
“I have feelings for you, Discord.” Fluttershy repeated. “I hadn't realized it until you faked getting hurt from King Sombra’s magical blast. Throughout all the time we’ve spent together, you’ve been nothing but the sweetest being I’ve ever met. You make me your 1st priority every time and never fail at making me laugh or feel happy.”
Discord looked at her with bewilderment. ‘Is it true? Is she really in love with me?’
She paused for a moment before continuing. “I know you make a lot of mistakes, but nopony's perfect. But to me, you’re perfect in my eyes.” she smiled warmly at him.
“I…I am?” he uttered quietly.
“Mmm-hmm.” Fluttershy nodded. “It doesn’t matter how many bad things you’ll do, you’ll always have a place in my heart.”
Discord felt tears forming at the back of his eyes. ‘Is this how sappy you ponies are?’
“I love you, Discord.” The yellow Pegasus wrapped her forelegs around him as she nuzzled into his fur.
The Draconequus felt a lump form in his throat as he reluctantly wrapped his arms around her and pulled her up to his chest. “No one has ever loved me before.” he murmured as he inhaled her sweet flowy scent.
Fluttershy surprised him by pulling away and kissing his left cheek. “Well I do. And when you’re ready, we can get married and spend the rest of our lives in your dimension.”
Discord looked at her with surprise. “You want to live with me once we’re wedded, in my realm?”
“I do.” she replied honestly. “Don’t get me wrong, though. I love my cottage, but I like your home because it’s so fun and exciting there. We can have all the fun we want there and do any impossible thing together.”
“Do you really want to do all that with me?”
“I do.” she smiled warmly at him as he suddenly found himself smiling back. For the longest of moments, they smiled warmly at each other. Nothing else seemed to exist except for each other, and no one else seemed to exist.
They slowly began to lean towards each other, completely oblivious to how close they were getting to each other’s faces. Discord realized what was going on as he pulled up and cleared his throat, feeling a blush coat his cheeks. A rare sight for an all powerful being of chaos. Fluttershy also realized what was going on and avoided eye contact with him with a blush of her own.
They both looked away from each other with shy smiles as the Draconequus cleared his throat. “Well then, I should probably be going.” he said suddenly as he summoned a watch. “It’s getting quite late.”
“Y-yeah, you’re right.” Fluttershy nodded as she hid behind her mane for a second before wrapping her forelegs around his neck gently. “See you for our tea party.”
“I’ll see you then, and we can even have it at my place.” Discord smiled as he put her on the ground.
“I’d like that.”
He nodded in agreement. “Farewell for now.” he bowed before placing a kiss on her cheek and disappearing in a flash of light.
Fluttershy stood there, frozen in a trance as she began to process what just happened.
Discord, the legendary lord of chaos and the spirit of disharmony, had feelings for her. While he didn’t openly admit it, she could tell by the way he just treated her with that little kiss on her cheek. It wasn’t a mocking kiss, but one out of love.
He loved her.
A wide smile spread across her mouth as she silently squealed like a fangirl and pranced into the kitchen to prepare herself some dinner. ‘He loves me, he loves me, he loves me!’ she thought happily.
Meanwhile in the chaos dimension, Discord laid down on the top of his bed with his eagle claw on the cheek that Fluttershy kissed. He’d never been kissed before, and it felt so right to receive one, especially from a pretty mare like her.
‘I can’t believe she actually likes me,’ he thought. ‘And just think; in the future, we’ll be married and we’ll live happily ever after.’
The very thought caused his heart to flutter with happiness as he laid down on his back and let out a sigh, smiling lovingly as he imagined a future with the cutest mare in the history of Equestria. They could even start a family together and have a couple kids.
A frown formed on his mouth. ‘Why would she want to be with someone like me?’ he thought with newfound doubt and sadness. ‘Especially when there’s something that I’m hiding that’ll not only break her heart, but doom all of Equestria.’
Completely unknown to the ponies of Equestria, Discord was indeed doing something against them, and it had to do something to do with three certain villains working together to exact their revenge.
Five years later…
A long and royal white carriage flew through the evening sky of Equestria and entered a portal that led to the realm of Discord as it sailed through the gravity-free endlessness of insanity and landed on the piece of land that happened to be the home of the Lord of Chaos.
It landed in front of the front door as the door on the right side of the carriage opened, revealing none other than the spirit of disharmony himself wearing a suave white tuxedo and white top hat.
He held out his lion paw and assisted a certain yellow Pegasus out of the carriage before it disappeared in a flash of light. Smiling up at him was Discord’s newly wedded wife, Fluttershy.
She was by far the most beautiful bride he’d ever seen. Her stunning wedding dress made her look like a combination between a nature goddess and a princess. She wore white slippers on her hooves and her make-up was done up on one side, running down in a wavy and curly pattern with different kinds of white and pink flowers in it.
Her newly wedded husband scooped her up into his arms bridal style and carried into their home, where they will be spending the rest of their days together as he closed and locked the front door with his magic and teleported them into their bedroom, closing and locking it with every possible lock he could summon and even soundproof the room as he gently laid his bride onto their bed.
“Finally. Alone at last.” Discord murmured as he sat down next to her and smiled. “I can’t believe we’re finally married.”
“I can’t believe it either.” Fluttershy smiled back. “And to think, five years ago we confessed our feelings for each other.”
“I know, it’s been so long since then, and now we’re finally together. I still can’t believe you still love me even after my…ahem…mistake with Chrysalis, Tirek, and Cozy Glow.”
Fluttershy gave him a sympathetic smile as she sat up and placed a hoof on his lion paw. “Discord, you know I forgive you, right?”
“I know.” Discord sighed with a frown. “But the guilt won’t leave me. Perhaps the ponies of Equestria were right when they said I should’ve been turned to stone with them.”
“They weren’t and still aren’t. You don’t deserve to be locked away for a long time, especially when you’ve got me to help make things right.”
The Draconequus smiled slightly. “I guess you’re right, my love.” his smile disappeared as he lowered his ears with a sad look. “I’m still sorry though. I truly do regret every bad thing I’ve ever done.”
“It’s time to leave them in the past and move on.” Fluttershy spoke softly as she embraced her husband. He turned and wrapped his arms around her body as he took the time to enjoy the feeling of holding his beloved in his arms and inhaled her flowery scent.
He remembered all those years ago when he confessed to unifying Cozy Glow, Chrysalis, and Tirek. The memory of Fluttershy’s heartbreak was almost as clear as the mare in his arms right now, and he should’ve considered himself lucky when the princesses let him off the hook on condition he never set foot in Equestria for three years.
Discord still felt bad, but he knew Fluttershy was right. He had to move on, and let the past remain in the past.
“Discord?”
He pulled away and looked down to see his wife giving him a sympathetic look. “Is there anything I can do to make you feel better?”
“Well…” he thought for a moment. “How does a kiss sound?”
“That sounds fair.”
He leaned down and pressed his lips against hers as they closed their eyes with moans.
They wrapped their arms around each other’s bodies as the Draconequus laid down on his back. He felt a gentle hoof slowly caress his chin as he let out a low cat-like purr.
Fluttershy pulled away as she continued to stroke his chin with a smile. “I can tell you’re cheering up.”
Discord huffed. “No I’m not.” he forced a depressed look on his face. “See?”
The yellow pegasus tried to hide the giggles building within her, but failed miserably as she bursted into laughter.
“It’s not funny.” he glared at her.
“Yes it is.” Fluttershy giggled. “I know that stroking your chin makes you happy.”
“It does not. You’re just being overly imaginative.” Discord pouted as he sat up, knocking her off him as she laid on her back and giggled up at him.
“You don’t have to hide it. I know you’re trying not to smile.” Fluttershy said as she sat up and gave him a knowing look.
Her husband turned away with a huff as he pouted, feeling the corners of his mouth twitching. In an attempt to make it stop, he summoned a roll of duct tape and tore off a couple pieces as he tapped them to the corners of his mouth and pulled them down as far as he could, sticking the other ends of the tape pieces to his chin. “See? I’m not smiling.”
It only made her release another fit of giggles. “Oh Discord, you’re so funny when you’re stubborn.”
“What does that have to do with me smiling?” he asked with a raised eyebrow, feeling the corners of his mouth fighting against the duct tape.
“Well, for one thing, you do want to smile. You’re just too embarrassed.” Fluttershy replied once her giggles began to die down.
“I’m not embarrassed, and I don’t want to smile at the moment.” Discord said defiantly as he tore off the pieces of duct tape and made them disappear. “Besides, what can you do to make me smile?”
“Oh, I don’t know.” his wife reached behind her and tore off a feather from her left wing.
“Don’t even think about it.” the Draconequus said in a warning tone. “I’ll make you sleep on the couch tonight.”
“Would you really do that to your wife?” Fluttershy asked innocently as she gave him a cute look. “If you do, you’ll have no one to sleep with on your 1st night as a husband. Plus you won’t have anyone to comfort you whenever you need it.” She stood up and got off the bed as she made her way towards the bedroom door. “But if that’s what you want, I completely understand.”
Discord felt his eye twitch. This pony was so irresistible, and above all she knew him more well than anypony.
He snapped his fingers and teleported her back on the bed. “Fine, you’re off the hook.”
“Good.” Fluttershy smiled triumphantly as she picked up her feather and gave her husband a mischievous look. “And this time, I’m gonna make sure you smile, and you won’t do a single thing to resist me?”
“Resist wha-”
Discord couldn’t even finish his sentence as his wife jumped at him and knocked him onto his back with her pinning him to the bed. He suddenly began to feel her feather tickle his neck as he began to hold back snickers, feeling the corners of his mouth curling up.
Fluttershy pulled away and smirked at him. “Are you smiling now?”
“No.” he replied instantly. “You can’t make me, even if you tickled my tummy.”
“Really?”
Discord regretted his words as the yellow Pegasus scooted back and began to unbutton his tuxedo. “Fluttershy, I know we’re married, but don’t you think you’re rushing just a little bit?” he said with uncertainty.
She was halfway through unbuttoning when she heard her husband voice his concern. She surprised him with a seductive smile. “Oh, I don’t think it’s too early at all.”
“Um…really?”
Fluttershy shook her head. “Now that we’re married, we can do whatever we want together. Besides…” she gave him a sultry look. “I know you want to see me without my dress on.”
A blush coated his cheeks as she giggled at him. Where on earth did the Element of Kindness learn to talk like that?
Noticing his distraction, she continued to unbutton his groom tuxedo until his chest was bare. She leaned down and began to wriggle the feather against his stomach, causing the Lord of Chaos to fight the urge to burst into laughter with a smile. It was too hard, and the ticking wasn’t helping either.
Finally, after a few more minutes of keeping his mouth shut, Discord bursted into laughter as he tried to free himself from his wife. “N-nohoho, pleahese! Stohop, stop!”
Despite knowing that he was laughing with a smile, she had to get the wall of denial to finally crumble. Fluttershy pulled away, much to his relief, only to grin playfully at him and lower her wings onto his tummy and continued the tickle torture.
Discord’s laughter became hysterical as he wriggled with all his might from her grip, succeeding after two failed attempts as he swiftly pinned his wife to the bed, not even caring that his top hat fell off his head and onto the floor. “Oh, you shouldn't have done that, you naughty little pony.”
Fluttershy tried to move out of the way as quickly as her muscles could allow, but failed miserably as her husband pinned her to the bed tightly and began to wriggle his lion fingers and eagle talons along her belly.
She bursted into laughter and fought against his strong grip. “Discord, I’m sorry!” she said in between laughs. “I won’t tickle you like that again! Just please, stop please!”
“Stop?” Discord said innocently. “But I’m just beginning to enjoy this.”
He extended his snake tail from around him and began to use his tail tuft to increase the torture, causing his wife to scream with laughter and fight harder against him.
“Discord…I can’t breathe…please, stop…” Fluttershy gasped.
“Oh alright.” Discord groaned playfully as he stopped his revenge, allowing her to take in shaky deep breaths. “But let this be a warning, my dear. If you tickle me I’ll get you back.”
Despite being out of breath, Fluttershy let out a shaky giggle. “I understand.”
“Good.” he smiled with satisfaction as he took off his tuxedo. “Finally. I thought I'd never be rid of that itchy thing.”
To prove his point, he began to scratch himself as he ran his lion and eagle claws all over his body, even using his lizard foot to scratch his lower half like a dog. He soon finished his scratching fit as he laid down next to his wife.
“I’m glad that you feel better.” she smiled at him.
“As am I, and I rather like being happy if I do say so myself.” the Draconequus agreed as he pulled Fluttershy towards him and hugged her against his chest. “I’m rather glad that we’re finally together.”
“Why’s that?” she asked him as she looked up at him.
“Well, for one thing, who could resist a mare like you? You’re cute, kind, beautiful, and really caring to those around you. Heck, I’d say you’d be a better ruler than Twilight.”
“Really? Do you really mean that?” Fluttershy asked with a small blush.
“I really do.” Discord replied honestly before giving her a seductive look. “And who knows? Maybe you’re even better when we’re in bed together.”
He raised his eyebrows at her suggestively as she widened her eyes with a blush. “Wait.” she said as she sat up. “Don’t you think this is a little too sudden?”
Discord chuckled. She was acting like him now. “Not at all. We are married after all.”
She realized that he was right as she let out a sigh and smiled at him. “Oh, why not?” She gave him a seductive look. “But don’t think you’re gonna take it easy on me because I’m smaller than you.”
“Fluttershy, I’ll let you do all the kissing even if I’m a slobbery mess.” her husband grinned at her before lowering his voice. “So come closer, my love. I want you to prove to me just how much you love me.”
The yellow Pegasus thought for a moment before nodding at him. “Alright, but I won’t be gentle.” she spoke in a low husky tone as she scooted up to his neck and slowly licked it all the way up to his cheek.
“Fluttershy…” Discord sighed as a shudder traveled down his spine.
She pecked him on his other cheek and nipped him on the ear, causing him to jump as she peppered his face with kisses before kissing down his neck. Once she reached his chest, she scooted back up to her husband's eye level and gave him a wink as she closed the distance between them and pressed her lips against his with a moan, causing him to close his eyes as they shared a passionate kiss.
They wrapped their arms around each other and pulled each other closer as they deepened the kiss with reddened cheeks. Fluttershy slipped her tongue through her lips and slid it into his mouth as it found the serpent-like tongue of her husband. They both let out low moans as the Draconequus helped her out of her wedding dress, taking the time to enjoy the feeling of her fur against him as he made sure to leave her white slippers on. For some odd reason she looked rather sexy with just her shoes on and her hair like the way it currently was.
Once she was completely bare, Fluttershy pulled Discord closer to her and deepened the kiss further as they let out more moans and flushed a deeper shade of red. The Lord of Chaos loosened his hold on his wife and slowly but gently ran his hands around her body as she let out a moan of pleasure. She felt his eagle claw slowly inch down her back and towards her hind quarters as she pulled away from the kiss and gave her husband a devilish smile.
“My my,” she said in a low tone. “Just where is that claw of yours going?”
“Oh, um…n-nowhere.” Discord replied nervously. “Sorry. I just thought-”
He was cut off by a pack to the lips as Fluttershy gave him the most seductive look she could muster, which in his opinion was her best look so far this evening.
“I never said that you had to stop.” she said as she lightly stroked his cheek with her hoof. “In fact, I really love to do what you want us to do.”
“You do?” her husband asked in surprise. “Do you really want to…well…it?”
“Mmm-hmm.” Fluttershy replied. “Now that we’re married, you can do whatever you want with me, just like I can do whatever I want with you.” She ended that last part with a sultry smile and raised her butt into the air as she swayed it from side-to-side and fluttered her eyelashes at him. “So go ahead, take me. I won’t mind.”
Discord let out a groan. Whatever self control he had shattered in an instant. This mare was just too darn cute and attractive to resist. “Oh Fluttershy…” he moaned and pulled her towards him and pressed their lips together. They got lost in a fit of passion as they made love for the very first time.
Fluttershy and Discord laid next to each other as the Draconequus held her in his arms like a teddy bear. She nuzzled into his fur with a content sigh as she smiled to herself.
“Hey Flutters?” her husband softly murmured as she looked up at him.
“Yes?” she smiled at him.
“Are you sure you still want to be by my side? We won't last forever because…well…”
His smile fell as a look of grief formed on his face. He felt a soft hoof caress his cheek as he looked down to see his wife smiling at him.
“Discord, I won’t be around forever, but I’ll do everything in my power to make you as happy as possible.”
“Really? Do you really mean that?” he asked.
“I do,” the yellow Pegasus smiled sweetly at him. “I meant it when we said our vows, and I still mean it now.” she pecked him on the cheek. “I love you, Discord. I love you with all of my heart.”
He fought against the tears threatening to form in the corners of his eyes as Fluttershy pressed her lips against his, causing him to return the pressure as they closed their eyes and let out loving moans.

Before we move any further, I’d like to talk about that little Fluttercord teaser line from She Talks To Angel. While it was straight up exciting to hear those four words from her, we have to remember that it was Angel who said it in her body. That leaves us to a multiple list of theories:
1: Fluttershy tells Angel everything that’s on her mind as if he were her diary.
2: Angel overheard her talking to herself at some point in the past.
3: He said that as Fluttershy that she wants to marry him as a way to mock her.
4: Fluttershy has a canon crush on Discord. (Which is what all the Fluttercord shippers strongly believe)
Even though My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is over, the fandom will live on! And let’s be honest; Fluttercord has to be canon, otherwise we wouldn’t see Fluttershy exiting Discord's portal from his dimension in The Last Problem. That is proof that our favorite odd shipping either decided to become roommates while remaining friends, OR they got married and decided to stay in Discord’s chaos realm.
Whether Discord and Fluttershy got married or not, they’ll always be one of the most popular shippings in all of MLP.
