Hiding the Stains
That's Not A Blanket
Load Full StoryNext ChapterIt was a somewhat quiet evening within the Castle of Friendship. Despite this, it was also a rather odd sight to see. For within the place, the alicorn of friendship was the only one doing chores. Her little assistant, practically her son, had been locked in his room all night. Twilight was wandering the halls, gathering up clothes and stuff from the guest room. She was forced to do all his work, because he refused to leave his new bedroom.
Some months ago, the alicorn decided to give Spike his own bedroom. After all, he was a full grown dragon now, not practical or wise to keep him coup up in her room. Plus, rumors had been going around that since he grew into his prime, she could no longer keep him in her room, unless she stopped treating him like a son and more like. She waved her head back and forth, draining the thought away. There was no way she could ever see him more then her son. As such, giving him his own bedroom seemed like the obvious option.
However, it only created another problem. In particular, he had been spending hours upon hours in the room. It had become a bit of a worry. The first week he barely left the room, only coming out for food and drink, but that was it. It wasn't so much the fact he spent all his time in the room, but the things he did there. Strange noises she kept hearing as she walked by. The alicorn didn't know what he was doing in there but frankly didn't want to consider.
But after weeks of her doing all of his chores were slowly starting to grate on her nerves. She just had enough and wanted to step inside. Temping the edge of his personal domain, she knocked on the door twice over. He didn't reply at first. The alicorn leaned her ear close to the door, but didn't fully place her head again it. There was giggling from more then one source. Her eyes widened, was there somepony else in the room with him?
"What is it?!" His voice sounded strained, but managed to stop her from reaching the doorknob.
"Uh... it's me. I wanted to talk to you." She wanted to bring up all the problems gathering around the castle. How it was rather impossible, even for an alicorn, to upkeep this entire place alone.
"Well, can't it wait till later. I'm a bit busy." His voice sounded strained and hoarse. A slapping sound padded softly before each breath.
"Spike... what are you doing in there? You've been in your room all day." She tried to lean her head against the door. The sounds on the other end were growing strangely pronounce. However, she couldn't get a full detail of what was happening on the other side.
"I've been... busy... Twilight. Can't this wait until later." He tried to keep his voice down, but it sounded as if he was speaking through clenched teeth.
"I've been doing all the chores around here!" She pleaded carefully. The alicorn didn't want to force him out of the room, but this work was becoming very tiresome. "I can't keep doing this all alone, Spike."
"Can't it wait!" He started to grunt. Something was truly wrong and the alicorn couldn't figure out what? Concern replaced her desire for help and she braced herself against the door.
Strangely around it wouldn't open. There was no lock on it, so could he be blocking it? No, his voice was coming from the far side of the room. It was where his bed would be. She glared at the thought that he had been laying down this whole time while she was slaving out here. And again, there was that strange slapping sound.
"Twilight! I said not right now!" He screamed at her. This was the first time he ever sounded so angry with her.
Twilight's motherly instincts kicked in and her strength was tripled with the classic trope. A desire to punish such attitude overcame her concern and plea for help. The alicorn turned away and kicked her back hooves, full forced into the door. However, even stranger was that it suddenly flew open with ease.
A faint glow flew by at the edge of Twilight's sight and drew her to her son's visage. Just as he said, the dragon was sitting on the bed, holding a rather large book over his lap. His eyes were glued to the page as he frantically flipped the pages. His face was covered in the deepest sweat she ever seen, but otherwise he seemed fine.
"Why would you yell at your mother?" She marched to his bedside.
"Twi... Mom!" He shifted back and forth between those words, wrapping his legs in the covers. "It's not what it looks like..." His eyes shifted to the book, as if not even noticing it there at first. "Yeah, I'm just reading a book!" He exhaled heavily, almost like the classic childish lies he used to give her as a baby dragon.
This whole scene left her greatly concerned. Leaning over, she examined the book, only to find it was just a common logbook. One he was using to keep track of inventory within the castle. This didn't seem to have anything to do with him not wanting to leave his room. She was about to speak, only to be stopped by a very, very soft moan.
The alicorn's eyes shifted left and right, but she could find the source. Odder yet, when her eyes came back upon Spike, he was holding one over the middle of the book, pressing tightly. This whole scene was getting stranger and stranger as the book began to softly shake on his lap. Her eyes scanned the bed, noticing a large bump in the blanket. The covers were tucked so tight, they weren't even moving. But the lump seemed to be shivering.
Her eyes narrowed and her horn glowed. There was another voice in the room and her dread overcame any trust she had for her son's privacy. The alicorn's horn glowed and the dragon's eyes went wide. In a quick move, the blanket was thrown completely off.
And yet all she found was a video game controller. Her eyebrow raised in confusion. There was no reason for Spike to act this way, nor for him to have a video game controller under the covers. He was a full-grown dragon now, not a child needing a blanket to hide his toys. She threw a shading glare back at him and pushed the giant book over his body. "If you wanted to play video games, you could do it more quietly." She placed it in his hand, unsure if the confusion on his own face was from being caught or something else. "And please, I need your help around here. I'm not your slave."
The dragon sighed, closing his eyes, taking the device carefully in one claw. He gave her a sweating smile and apologized. "I'll help you once I get done with this level."
"Thank you..." She turned away, only to be stopped cold by another noise. This one wasn't soft at all. It was an outright groan, not a long shutter. She flipped back around and saw even stranger stuff. It looked almost like Spike was shushing the controller. Odder yet, the controller was now twice as big and the book was nowhere in sight. Instead, the controller was now firmly over his lap.
"Careful," Spike whispered as he shifted the controller up and down, pressing down on his groin.
Twilight turned back around just as quickly, waving her head back and forth. She was completely unsure of what she had just seen. But as soon as her eyes left Spike another moan followed. It was a long and loud shutter that filled her ears. It wasn't the voice she heard from the doorway, nor was it her own gasping. It was coming from Spike but was clearly not his voice at all.
Flipping back around things just kept making no sense. The giant book was back, along with the controller, even though that was gone a second ago. Spike was leaning back, his mouth hanging wide, breathing heavily. His eyes fighting a wince. "Damn it, I just died in the game!!" He claimed between two very hard breathes. "Please, Twi... I need to finish..."
The alicorn was not convinced in the slightest, but his tone sounded so desperate. "Okay, okay, just..." She was stopped from leaving again, upon noticing another major problem. The TV screen had been off the whole time. Spike wasn't playing a video game. There was the assumption he might have been lying to her, but why so blatantly? She was right there, still standing at the edge of the room. "Just tell me the truth..." She grumbled and faced him again.
Odder still was both the controller and the book were completely gone and now he was covered in his blanket once more. Only this time, it was a different colored blanket, a distinct orange and green. She couldn't remember buying such a cover for him. Maybe it was something Rarity gave him. But that didn't answer the strange sounds, the odd vanishing or the fact her son was covered in so much sweat.
Spike was full shivering in between breaths. His legs were buckling underneath the covers, but they were the only things down there. What was going on? Could it be a leg cramp? Or some sort of curse cast by Discord? She knew the two were best friends now, so maybe Spike was trying to hide the fact that he might be bullied. His arms raised over his legs and his tail slashed back and forth, before curving.
The alicorn took a step closer. This was just too bizarre to ignore now. The mare needed answers directly from her son. So she stepped back carefully over as quietly as possible. She was unsure if he still knew she was there as he was still wincing and grunting rather hard. Reaching his bedside, a mix of words bubbled in her head before she just decided to just blurt it out. "Spike is everything okay--"
"Fuck!!" The dragon's heavy breathing was cut short and the answer to all her questions came in full. A distinct stain flowed through the covers.
The alicorn was left shivering too now until a full blush covered her face. Soon enough a few drops of white soaked through the surface. "Spike!!" She full-on screamed at him. "You could have warned me!!" All her other questions and concerns faded as her spells wrapped around the blanket and lifted it off. Much to her regret and revulsion, the obvious was clear.
A very wet dragon penis slowly receding back into his pocket. His shame was on full display as she dropped a heavy pillow on him. "Take a shower and throw the rest in the washer when you are done!!" The alicorn had seen more than she ever wanted to. "I can't believe you did that right in front of me?!"
"It's not what you think?!" He tried to plead his case, but his mother was already running out of the room with what she thought was his blanket. The dragon reached out in vain as a pair of green hooves reached back for him from the shape of the cover. It was for not as Twilight was too fast, taking the 'blanket' out of the room and to the washer. Spike fell back and let his pride adjust, before sitting up. "Damn it... Me and Thorax weren't done yet?!" He rolled his eyes and stepped off the bed. "Stupid alicorn can't let me and my coltfriend have some privacy. No! She has to throw him in the washer!!" He grumbled.

Author's Note
Yeah, I tried to make this work out better while making things as explicit as possible while keeping it funny, but it was quite hard. However, part two, Twilight X Thorax, came out a lot better. So if you want more, just wait until Thursday.
Also, I might do a part three involving Spike X Thorax X Twilight, but you'll need to convince me first as this one was quite hard. Part two is a lot more straightforward.
