Applejack is traumatized. Her parents died, violently as she imagines, when she is young. She worries about the same happening to Apple Bloom on her pie run, and takes off running herself. Unfortunately, there’s a price to pay when you don’t process where you’re going. Hurt and panicked, Applejack doesn’t know what to do, but Winona does.
