Post War Assembly: Flight Out
The Temple echoed in laughter as Spike, Rachel, Twilight, AJ, RD, Fluttershy, Brimstone, the twins, Shining, Cadence, Malik, Thorax, Pharynx and Luna were all in the common area.
Pretty much all of those who were part of the Wedding Party were all in there. After a particularly long ass day, it was a chance for all of them to relax. Swap some stories and just breathe from the stress they had most of the week.
And with the two children asleep, it was just the adults.
“An-and and Spike here trapped Mane-iac and saved all of us!” Rainbow recounts the time all of them got sucked in that comic book.
Spike grinned at that memory, having his arm wrapped around Rachel's shoulders.
“Wow babe, you're a hero in a comic book and real like, Hum Drum…or…Brisingr.” Rachel purred. Saying Brisingr in draconic.
Spike's earfins shot up as he looked at her. “Wait, you speak dragon???” Almost amazed to hear her speak in that language.
“She learned just like the rest of us Mordi when our powers awakened.” Malik said. “A pain in the ass half the damn time, mate.” Malik spoke in draconic as well.
“How come we never heard Spike speak Draconic?” Fluttershy asked.
“Possibly because he was raised by us.” Shining said, motioning to him and Twilight.
“Not true, I know Draconic but none of you know how to speak.” Spike spoke perfectly in Draconic. Seeing their reactions was priceless.
Surprisingly, his voice was much deepened, causing Rachel to blush red. “Oh geez, I felt that.” She placed a hand over her abdomen.

When Brimstone looked at Rachel, it made her shrink a little, only adding fuel to the fire.
Everyone looked at them then, causing Rachel to shrink more.
Ruby clapped her hands. “Story time! Okay okay, when our lovely bride here was young, we took her home, gave her a set of rules from when we met. Get her GED, get her situated in a job, general things. Rachel here, however, had a problem finding a job because at the time, no one knew what humans were.”
“Kill me…” Rachel mumbled, face completely red knowing where it was heading.
“So, one of the ideas we had, sorta a way to motivate her to look more, we took her pole dancing classes!” Gemcity giggled.
“Rachel!” Brimstone called her name while others giggled. Never realizing she was taught how to be a stripper!

Spike's eyes widened, looking at his now tiny mate. “What trick???”

“We were fighting at the Peaks of Peril you see, I was fighting alongside our lovely Dorothy here against the mind controlled Kirins and demons.” Malik explained. “We’re blasting, we're punching, this girl here goes running off of a rock, manages to wrap her legs around this young tree, uses the strength of her calves to hang upside down and shoots a few of her light bolts at the oncoming swarm. Never missing a bloody shot! Don't tell me that was a pole trick!”
“It was…” Rachel groaned.
“She most definitely performed it on one nightmare night.” Gemcity cackles.
Rachel whips her with her tail, only increasing the laughter.
“Oh I gotta see that!” Rainbow Dash calls out.
“Ah want to see it too if ya don't mind.” Apple Jack chuckled.
“So do I.” Spike said, still imagining Rachel in a scandalous outfit, giving him a private show.
Would explain a few things…
“I don't think Rachel wants to, leave the poor girl be.” Brimstone grunted, not wanting her anywhere near a pole.
“Oh come on, we're all adults here.” Ruby waves a hand. “Kids are asleep, we're hanging out, it's all good fun.”
“Come on, Rachel, everyone wants to see. Just do that one.” Gemcity urged the Queen.
“There's no pole…”
The twins looked at each other before they dug into their purses before one of them found a gold cylinder. Ruby pressed the button and tossed it in the center of the room. It shook and expanded, tilted itself vertical before a pole shot up. Part of it dug into the ground and the other shot up high.
“Now we have a pole.” Ruby grinned.
“I pray you guys contract STDs on your next feeding.” Rachel grunted.
“Do it, do it, do it.” Malik starts chanting.
Pharynx joins with Rainbow Dash, Spike too, even Cadence was chanting with the twins.
Rachel listens to them before slapping the armrest before pushing herself up out of the couch. Hearing a collective cheer.
Rachel glared at the Twins. “I hope you guys get crabs.” She said before walking up to the pole.
Spike watched her go, seeing the halter top and skirt the twins had her wearing, and that pole, he made himself comfortable.
Brimstone covers his face with his hand. Not going to watch it.
“I'm so sorry for you seeing this, Brimstone.” Rachel tells him before approaching it.
She takes a few deep breaths to get herself ready.

Rachel looks at him. “Okay for you but no one else.”
Spike had a satisfied smile, tail flickering. Some of the folks laughed.
“It seems to take a lot of muscles to suspend like that.” Fluttershy said, her cheeks blushing.
“Pole dancing is more than stripping. It's a form of aerial acrobatics.” Ruby explained. “It's a fun type of exercise, circuses have pole dancers.”
Luna rubbed her lower jaw. “Hmm, I vividly remember having performers at the old castle. One act did involve a pole.” She lowers her hand. “It does seem like a fun exercise, I wouldn't mind learning.”
“Princess Luna!” Twilight gasped, bringing out a laugh out of everyone.
Brimstone lets out a tired sigh, taking a drink of his cup.
Spike chuckled as he rolled his neck. His eyes soon shifted to his lovely mate, no doubt after watching her dance made him feel more enamored towards her.
And the Temple was starting to get a little compact for his liking. Knowing their son was being looked after.

Rachel turned her head towards him. “What's up?”
“I'm going to go out, need to stretch out my wings for a bit, care to join me?” He offered.
“That didn't take too long.” One of the twins snickered which he ignored.
Rachel shot them a look before turning to him. “Absolutely.” She smiled at him.
Feeling giddy, he gets up and offers a hand, which she graciously took.
“Okay everyone, this has been fun, we'll be stepping out for a bit.” Spike said, helping his mate to her hooves.
Rainbow Dash, catching his look gave out a dramatic gasp. “You guys having premarital sex before the wedding??? Such sacrilege!!”
Applejack elbows her which caused her to laugh. Pharynx chuckled and Thorax and Fluttershy blushed.
“Have fun you two.” Thorax smiled.
“You can have fun as well, Thorax.” Ruby purred, causing the King to hide behind his brother.
“You know, Dash,” Rachel starts, flashing her the infamous rogue-like grin. “You and Jacks here make a lovely couple, if you're jealous of Spike and I, why don't you try your luck with her?”
The two stiffened and yelped, leaving Rachel chuckling as the couple left.
When they left, Twilight looked at the two. “She's joking, right???”
Dash leans to AJ. “How did Rachel know???”
“I don't know.” Aj gulped.
“Guys???” Twilight's eyes widened. “Are you two actually together??”
“It was obvious.” Fluttershy muttered.
Spike led Rachel outside of the Temple, the pathway lit up in a mix of burning braziers and overhead lights. The night sky hung above all of them, the moon crescent shaped.
“So, where do you want to fly to?” Rachel asked once they were out.
Spike shrugged. “Your neck of the woods, your call.” He smiled softly.
“Not my actual neighborhood.” Rachel chuckled.
Spike grinned, “An adventure flight it is.”
That sparked more of her interest.
With a strong flap of their wings and a leap, the two took to the skies.
Soaring through the clouds, the two flew across the night. Being in a rather secluded spot, city lights were next to none as they were surrounded by millions of stars.
Without any worry, without any fighting. Just having fun.
“Whoo hoo!” Spike exclaimed loudly as he flew past Rachel.
Rachel giggled as she followed. Swerving through the clouds. Her wings beating harder due to her wings being covered in fur, adding more weight.
She managed to catch up to him, ended up flying underneath him, and turned her body stomach up.
Spike grinned when he looked down. “Hi there!” his voice carried in the whistling wind.

After a few minutes of hide and seek, Spike finally caught up to Rachel, wrapping his arms around her waist before she could escape. “Got you.”

Just as Spike was about to be rewarded by a sweet kiss, a sound caught his attention. “Uh, what is that?”
Rachel looked around to see where that sound was, she turned to the left and let out a gasp.
A large white airplane was rapidly flying towards their direction!
Spike swiftly shoved Rachel forward and he propelled backwards, near missing the plane, the wings of the plane were inches of clipping him.
The words DELTA AIRLINES sprayed across the plane as they flew past the couple. Those who happened to be looking outside saw the two dragons flying in the sky. One amid a five year old boy who had his face pressed up to the glass and his eyes widened seeing Spike.
The plane manages to fly past without an incident. Spike followed with his eyes, looking very puzzled as it disappeared from sight.
He looks across the way then to Rachel who also watched it go off.
“You good?” He asked.
She nodded. “I'm fine, that was a close one.” She huffed a chuckle.
He then points where the plane flew. “What was that contraption??” He asked in a confused tone.
Rachel blinks several times looking at the male drake. “It's an airplane. It's how humans are able to fly across the world. Nothing like the helicopters.” before starting to laugh at the look of his face as he processed this.
Another reminder how much Spike doesn't know about other human engineering.
After regaining their breaths, the two lowered down to the forest below for a break.
Rachel landed first, stretching her wings out before furling them close. Spike comes in from behind smoothly, wrapping his arms around her stomach, pressing up against her backside.
