Seven bodies sat in a crudely arranged semicircle composed of a mishmash of teal and orange plastic chairs. At the center of their attention was one Sunset Shimmer, who stood before them with a wooden stand holding what seemed to be a hastily thrown together and blown up bubble chart. Each bubble contained a small photo of every individual in the room, including its creator.
“I’m only here for the snacks,” Rainbow Dash grumbled, reaching for a handful of potato chips from the bowl Sunset had placed in the center of the half circle.
“I’m sure whatever it is you have to tell us is, uh, very important, darling, but was it really necessary this little soiree of yours be held in such a...compact room?” Rarity spoke, trying to maintain a diplomatic tone as she looked around the living room of Sunset’s apartment.
Sunset shrugged. “This is a highly…sensitive issue I’ve brought us all here together to discuss, guys. A little discretion was necessary. On that topic, the sooner I get started, the better.”
Applejack interrupted the girl before she could start, “And nobody’s hurt or in trouble, right?” A note of suspicion underscored her question.
“Nope,” Sunset answered, smiling.
“Magic related?”
“Well, maybe from a certain point of view…but, no, not really.”
Twilight grinded her jaws together, skepticism written all over her bespectacled face. Sunset’s vagueness had only deepened the oddity of the situation for her.
Sunset looked at the remaining face hands at her hip, and blue finger pointer at the ready, “Anymore questions, girls?”
The sound of Sunset’s AC turning on and Rainbow Dash’s chewing were the only sounds that could be heard in the one-bedroom apartment. Sunset’s grin returned, taking their silence as a reply. “Good! Let’s get started.”
Sunset pointed at the largest bubble in the graph, the one occupying its center, which also happened to contain a photo of said girl. “This is me.”
Seven heads nodded.
Sunset briefly pointed to every other bubble that had been arranged around hers. “And these are you.”
“This is dumb,” Rainbow Dash groaned, accidentally spitting crumbs onto Rarity’s lap. The fashionista sighed as she brushed away the morsels of wet potato, knowing how hopeless of an endeavor it would be to ask the girl besides her to chew with her mouth closed.
“You’re probably asking yourself, what is the purpose of this bubble chart? Well, it was the easiest way of visually aiding my, uh, argument.” Sunset wavered, suddenly looking uncharacteristically anxious before the group. She shook her head after a short pause and resumed, “Also, I just thought it looked really cute!”
A few murmurs of agreement from Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Twilight resounded throughout the room.
Applejack rapidly tapped her foot, sighing in frustration.
Sunset paused once more, taking another once-over of her friends as they expectantly looked at her. She placed her pointer down, and held up her hands, “Listen, it’s important all of us have a very…open mind about what I’m about to say.” Sunset’s face turned a light shade of red as she closed her eyes. More silence filled the room. Twilight and Fluttershy shared a concerned glance with one another as they silently mulled over whatever it was Sunset had to say.
Sunset let out an exhale as she opened her eyes. The anxiety had turned to cold resolve as she eyed her friends. “Basically, I think we should all start dating one another.”
Silence.
All hell broke loose in the room as seven voices simultaneously rang out.
“What the fuck, dude!?”
“Talk about upsetting the apple cart…”
“Ooh is this a cult? Sunset, are you starting a cult!?”
“Meep!”
“What a positively lascivious idea!”
“Uh, I need an adult…”
Twilight’s face turned bright red as she processed Sunset’s words. “Come again, Sunset? Did you…did you just say we should –
“Date!” Sunset smirked, “Yes, I did.” She held up a hand in a defensive posture, “Please, let me explain.”
Rainbow Dash crossed her arms. Her eyes narrowed at Sunset, “You better.”
Sunset ignored the desire to laugh at Rainbow Dash’s hypocrisy, as she had already caught the athlete checking out everybody in the room at least once already. She rolled her eyes and continued, “Look, long story short, I’ve come to realize a few things over the past several months. One, I’m attracted to all of you. Two, you’re all attracted to me! And, most importantly, all of you – “ She gesticulated wildly at every party in the room – “are attracted to each other!” She finished, a look of pure satisfaction adorning her face.
“How absurd of an idea! I don’t even like women, much less any of my friends!” Rarity growled.
“Oh, really? What did you say about Fluttershy’s date to this year’s Fall Formal again? Something along the lines of ‘good for nothing scoundrel who wasn’t fit to hold Fluttershy’s perfect hand and if he tries anything funny I’ll castrate him myself,’ right?”
Six faces turned to face Rarity who had begun to turn the color of one of her many pin cushions. Fluttershy stared at the girl, her face a similar shade of red, eyes wide. “I didn’t realize you felt that way about me, Rarity.”
“I don’t…I’m not a lesbian, I’m not…” Rarity trailed off, casting a pitiful glance at the ground.
“Well, duh! You’re not a lesbian if you like guys too, silly! You’re like me. I love ‘em both!” Pinkie let out, wearing one of her signature smiles and clearly enjoying the moment.
“I DON'T LIKE WOM-
“It’s okay, Rarity. I like you too.”
Rarity stopped, staring at Fluttershy, mouth completely agape. Rainbow Dash seethed in silent anger besides her.
“Whaa?” Rarity articulated.
“Ahem.” Sunset drew an imaginary line between the circles containing Rarity and Fluttershy, “As, uh, some of us come to terms with the nascent realization of our bisexuality, let’s continue.” With a surprising amount of intensity, Sunset jabbed her pointer into another bubble, “Twilight!” Said girl scrunched her face in panic at what Sunset had in store for her. “Let’s not beat around the bush here, Twilight. You like me. I like you. And we’re pretty much girlfriends already! Minus the, uh...” Sunset slipped a finger through a circle she had made with the other hand to complete the thought for her.
“What!? I like you as a friend, Sunset. Nothing more, I promise you!” Twilight said, her throat suddenly a lot more dry than it was before the presentation had begun.
Sunset raised an eyebrow, “Remember that time we went to the Planetarium – just you and I – and we spent the entire day together?”
“Y-yes? W-what about it?” Twilight squeaked.
“Oh, I don’t know, just that we held hands.”
“That’s perfectly normal friend beh –
“You told me I have beautiful eyes.”
“It was a compliment!”
“I wrapped my arm around you when it got cold.”
“Appreciated, but that wasn’t –
“Twilight, you spent the night here in my bedroom…with me…”
Twilight stopped, defeated. She looked at Sunset, her face burning, “O-okay, m-maybe I like you a little…”
“Glad we’re on the same page, girlfriend!” Sunset grinned, satisfied with the admission.
“N-no, we are not on the same page, Sunset! Even if I have feelings for you, that doesn’t mean I want to date the rest of my friends!” Twilight hissed, leaning forward in her chair to meet Sunset’s smug gaze with her own unamused expression.
“Ha! You’re right, I’m sure it wasn’t dating you were thinking about that time I caught you drooling all over yourself when Pinkie stole Rainbow Dash’s shirt at the beach, you perv!” Sunset countered.
Twilight’s eyes shot wide open. “I-I w-wasn’t drooling over anything, S-Sunset!” She stuttered out.
“It’s okay, Twilight. I think all of us burned that into our memory – cuz, shit, you can grind meat on those things!” Sunset threw Rainbow Dash a sultry gaze, which she responded to with a kiss and wink.
“Listen, egghead, if you wanted to see these bad boys, all you had to do was ask, and I’d give you an up-close introduction to them, babe.” Rainbow Dash smirked at her friend, who appeared to be going through a panic and horniness-induced existential crisis. Arousal flooded Twilight as she remembered the athlete’s shirtless form, causing her to visibly shudder. Thoughts of peppering each of the girl’s abdominal muscles with kisses were definitely not racing through her mind.
“They are quite nice,” Fluttershy added, wistfully staring at Rainbow Dash’s white shirt-covered midsection. Rainbow Dash smirked as she leaned backwards into her chair, basking in the attention.
“I rest my case on the Twilight front – unless you want me to continue, Ms. Applejack-Has-Such-Big-Strong-Arms.” Sunset said, staring at the girl who had taken to burying her head in her palms and was slowly rocking herself to cope with the embarrassment.
“You’re always checking out my butt, Twilight!” Pinkie interjected.
“You do have a pretty nice ass, Pinkie.” Applejack added.
“Thanks! I’m just glad that squat routine Maud recommended is finally paying off!”
“Oh, I didn’t realize your sister was into fitness. Do tell, Pinkie!” Rarity implored.
“No! Off topic, Rarity!” Sunset shouted, looking far more frustrated than she really ought to be. “Back to the important issues, guys.” Sunset said, pointing at Rainbow’s bubble.
“Do I even need to explain this one?” Sunset asked. No one protested. It wasn’t exactly a secret that the rainbow-haired girl had shown varying degrees of interest in all her friends, something she wasn’t shy about expressing, whether through word or touch.
Rainbow Dash feigned indignation, shaking her head in mock disapproval, until she broke the pretense with a sharp laugh. “Fine, unlike you guys, I’ll admit it: we’re all pretty fucking hot.” Why wouldn’t I want to bang it out with all of you?” She rested her case with a cross of her arms and smirk. “Ideally, in one big debauched orgy, of course,” Dash tacked on.
“I like the sound of that, Dashie!” Pinkie responded, sharing a mischievous gaze with the athlete.
“I can’t believe you know the word ‘debauched’,” Twilight whispered, her head still in her palms.
“Screw you.”
“Hey, it was just a –
Before the two could engage any further, Sunset slammed her pointer across the wooden stand, silencing the pair. “No arguing allowed! Unless it’s in the bedroom, and you’re trying to resolve it through aggressive make-up sex…and I’m there!”
“Ooh I’d have lots and lots of aggressive make-up sex with you, Sunny!” Pinkie Pie said, striking a tone somewhere between sultry and enthusiastic as she blew a kiss towards her leather jacket wearing friend.
“Me too.” Fluttershy quietly added.
“Let me stop you right there, girlie.” Applejack interjected, glaring at Sunset. “I don’t know what type of girl you take me for, but I most certainly am not attracted to –
“You’ve made out with Rainbow Dash.”
“That was a dare, and you know it, Sunset!” Applejack shouted as she pulled her hat down to cover her eyes.
“Three times.” Sunset finished, smirking.
“She can actually put that mouth of hers to good use when she's not using it to make a fool of herself…” Applejack grumbled, bringing her hat down even further in an attempt to hide the growing redness in her face.
“You’re damn right, blondie.” Rainbow Dash announced, licking her lips as Applejack began to slide down her chair in shame.
Sunset clapped her hands together in anticipation of total victory. Her plan was coming along nicely, and that was without the song and dance routine she had prepared as a last resort to get everyone to see it her way! The right way, that was.
Sunset put the pointer down and gestured towards the remaining attendees. “I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that you two,” she pointed at the two pinkettes, “See the light, right?”
Pinkie Pie, not caring for subtleties, gave the girl two thumbs up and a voracious nod. Fluttershy looked away, finally displaying some hesitancy at the proceedings, “W-well…does this mean we can, like, have an, um, orgy?” She finished, almost whispering, but with a hopeful expression on her face.
“Glad you asked, Fluttershy, because I was just about to recommend that we blow through all the awkwardness and doubt by ditching the clothes and going into my room and just letting our bodies figure it all out!”
“I’m down with that.” Rainbow Dash shrugged, already removing her blue jacket.
“Took you long enough, Sunny!” Pinkie screamed as she set to work untying her boots. “Fair warning, everyone, I bite.” She said, grinning like a cheshire cat, eyes already scanning the crowd for her first target of the night.
“W-wait, how are we all going to fit in your bed, it could barely fit both of –
“Aren’t you the eager one, Twilight! But don’t you worry that brilliant, sexy head of yours – I’ve already gotten rid of my bed and covered the entire floor with carpet, blankets, and pillows!” Sunset beamed.
“Whaa?” Rarity said, her mouth still agape.
Fluttershy leaned over to place a hand under her friend’s jaw, closing it for her. She found Rarity’s lips with her own, kissing the fashionista for the briefest of moments. Rarity could only blink as her brain factory reset. Fluttershy giggled, “You’re so pretty, Rarity. I’ve been waiting years to do that.” Rarity smiled dumbly, faintly nodding her head at the thought.
Sunset shucked her jacket off, eager to start the festivities as well. “Before we start the greatest damn orgy in the history of orgies, I just wanted to say…” The girl paused, silently taking in her friends once more, all already in various stages of undress, “Thank you. This isn’t just about the, uh, hopefully mind-blowing and leg ruining sex we’re about to have, it’s about…family. You girls are like family to me and I love all of you so much, and now we have a reason to be together forever. Living, loving, and screwing together for the rest of our lives. It’s like a dream come true!” Sunset finished as she wiped away the moisture in her eyes. Several of the girls had similarly grown teary eyed, but smiles plastered every face in the room. Save for one.
A solitary arm tentatively raised from the back of the room.
“Sorry to, uh, interrupt the moment, but I have a question: what am I doing here?”
Instantly, all eyes locked onto the figure of their eighth member, who had remained a mostly silent observer up until this point.
“Oh my gosh, I almost forgot about you, Spike!” Sunset let out, embarrassment at her forgetfulness written across her face. Everyone but the boy in question began to nervously shift.
The lone male sat, sporting a strained expression and uncomfortably crossed legs.
“Ah, yes, Spike…” Sunset trailed off, trying to find her words. “Everything I said earlier applies to you too, dude.” She settled on, giving her best attempt at a comforting smile to ease the boy’s obvious nerves.
Spike raised an eyebrow, “I’m not just here out of, like, pity or something, right? You don’t have to let me join your, uh, group if you don’t really want me to. I’ll leave, no hard feelings, I swear.”
“NO.” Seven voices violently echoed through the room, startling the young man.
Sunset chuckled, “Wow, that was fast!” She gazed at the boy, eyes half lidded, “I don’t think I’d be asking you to join my hare – I mean, uh, our polycule if I didn’t like you the same way I like the others, Spike.” She sashayed closer to him, enjoying the way his emerald eyes glued themselves to her hips, “You’re hot, Spike. Your hair is to die for, your body isn’t half bad either, and that goofy little smirk of yours just drives me crazy every time I see it.” She stopped just feet away from the boy, looking down at him, watching him squirm under her gaze, “And it’s like a sprinkler down there when you snap and let out that inner dragon of yours. Dominance looks so good in green.” Sunset purred.
She also considered mentioning that the idea of watching him and Twilight bang one out was really fucking hot and made her knees weak just thinking about it, but that would have to wait for a more…appropriate time.
Twilight spoke up, “I don’t think I’d want to be here if you weren’t, Spike. You’re my best friend, I could never leave you out of something like this.” She looked down at her hands, her face now taking on a deep red hue, “And maaaaaybe I used to have a tiny crush on you back in Junior High.” Sunset bit her lip, trying to contain her excitement, as Project Spilight received its first official push forward.
Spike blinked.
“You’re one of the only guys worth a damn around here, pretty boy. And you ain’t too hard on the eyes either.” Applejack grinned.
“You’re sweeter than a pea, Spike!” Pinkie joined in, “So why don’t you come and plant your seed in my pot, all night long?” She suggestively wiggled her eyebrows at him for emphasis.
“If I'm gonna fuck a dude it may as well be you, green boy! I see the way you look at me, I know you want to!” Rainbow Dash announced, leering at him.
“There’s no other man I’d want more to bend me over and absolutely fucking ravish me than you, darling.” Rarity said, breaking from her stupor.
“Spike, I want you to pull my hair, spank me, and rail me so hard I can’t feel my legs for the next two weeks.” Fluttershy spoke calmly as a tender smile graced her lips.
“Okaaaay, that was, uh, interesting…but as you can see, Spike, all of us want you here.” She tapped her chin, staring contemplatively at the wall, “I suppose we could ask Flash if you weren’t interested…”
Faster than even Rainbow Dash could track, the boy’s purple over shirt had been discarded to the floor and he was now standing, unfastening his belt. “Now that’s what I like to see, greenie.” Sunset laughed.
“I’m in, I just wanted to make sure, that was all!” Spike hastily added, already stepping out of his jeans. The boy joined Rainbow Dash in going shirtless, happily putting his lean but toned body on display. He stood proudly in his dragon themed boxers, his eagerness on obvious display before his friends.
“Save it for the bedroom, Romeo. Speaking of which…” Sunset wrapped an arm around Twilight’s waist, pulling the girl into her. She began to guide her startled but receptive partner to the bedroom, as the others followed in behind them. Spike was being lead by both Rarity and Fluttershy, while Applejack and Rainbow Dash walked side by side, both still actively stripping off their remaining clothing. And, somehow, Pinkie Pie laid completely nude at the center of the room, striking a seductive pose to greet everyone as they entered.
Sunset reveled in her victory. Tonight was going to be the greatest, longest night of her life – hopefully the first of many high octane, love-and-lust filled nights to come.
Moans and shouts of pleasure filled the room to the break of dawn.
