Nightmare Moon won, and the consequences were more disasterous than anyone could have expected. Equus has been scoured of life, and the universe followed shortly after. How was that possible? There's no one left to know other than a handful of monsters which Nightmare Moon bred to become her unstoppable army. Left to die off, accompanied by the echoing laughter of their creator, they find a way to an alternate version of their universe and, their choice being clear, set off in hopes of survival.
