The first thing I hear is the sound of a heartbeat, like it's marching towards with such fierce certainty that it scares me. I don't know what this is, but it's something that cannot be stopped, something that grows louder and louder at each passing moment.
I keep wondering what it could be, till finally I start to hear stone cracking. At this point I wonder where am I.
There's only darkness around me, as if someone had locked me in a completely dark room.
Who am I again? I think back, while trying to peer into my memories and see exactly that.
Anger, Hate, Jelousy, Emptyness.
That's right, Chrysalis, queen and the strongest of the changelings. I was betrayed by my subjects, forced into an evil group, and defeated by those pesky little ponies, forever locked into a stone statue with that brute Tirek and annoying little Cozy Glow.
I had stopped thinking after some time, locked away with nothing but my thought, sometimes coming in and out of conciousness, but finally I hear something, the sound of this heartbeat.

Could it be that finally the magic that locked me in here is finally weakening?
I start to move my muscles, see if I can break the stone that binds me here.
Yes, I feel like it isn't so tight, I can wiggle inside this stone prison. I try to move my chest, around my shriveld heart, see if that's the cracking I heard. I must free myself, I must destroy those who wronged me, I will make everyone who betrayed me pay, and then I will create a new kingdom for me to rule over, after all, a girl like me must have everything she desires.
I start to hear more of the stone slowly curmbling. Judging by my heartbeat, I can only guess that this will take a while. Did discord pass through this also when he freed himself from this spell? I can only speculate as that backstabbing fool probably enjoys some tea with his "little pony friends. Ugh, simply the idea makes me sick to my stomach. The only love I need is the unconditionaly loyalty of my subject, and the love I drain from other, lesser beings.
Finally, after some time, I hear some stone fall anf hit the ground. Am I finally gonna be free? I try to conjure some magic, but I'm still weakened by the time spent locked away, and I can barely conjure a beam to break my prison.
Ugh, if only there was some foolish creatures for me to drain of love.

I am just doing this mostly as a way to push out some emotions. I haven't really ever though someone might be reading this (igagus, se você achou isso parabains, você tá lendo meu puro cringe). I am not sure I'll revisit older chapters, and.not even sure I'll even finish this. Sure, I have an idea for where I want to head this, but you never know how life might be

Finally
After so long, it feels soooooo good to stretch my wings again, I have no idea how long it must've been! It barely feels like a day has passed, but my body says otherwise. My wings feel stiff, my joints hurt, even properly staying on ground feels a little heavy.
I start to flutter my wings and see if I can even get of the ground again. It takes a lot of effort, but I'm still able to fly. Not wanting to tire myself, I just land right where I was. Maybe after feeding it will be easier
How long has it been, really, I wonder. I didn't hear anyone near me, and I'm still at the same hill where I was imprisoned, but something feels off. I don't remember it being well, kept, but the grass is running wild, not that I'm complaining, I was never one to limit myself to where I would grow, but I'm sure there weren't so much trees around.
Weird, I look back and try to look at the statue of where I once was. Those annoying little idiots should still be there.
Or not.
I take a wider look, try to see if I somehow wondered a little off while stretching, and still nothing. Either they freed themselves earlier than I, or maybe we were separated after being turned to stone. I start to think if maybe they've been reformed, after all, the pipsqueak did try to make us get together once.
"It doesn't matter for now" I mutter, I must find something to feed. As a changeling, "the hunger never ceases".
The sharp pain over my body, not quite like the hunger for food, starts to drain me again. It feels like I'm having my nerves being sucked out of me. Sure, after losing my colony I did feel it way more, but never had it felt this unbearable. I guess the spell didn't also locked away every last bit of love I had.
I start to gallop around, it shouldn't be hard to find some sustenance, anything that loves, I can drain, and oh every life do loves to love. It could be a squirrel caring for their little ones, or a bird just happy to catch it's worm, every one of them feeds me.
After a while trotting, with the pain of the hunger never having been so high before, I finally find a pond. Anything to make the hunger stop. A dog drinking, a duck swimming, a fish just lazing around. Anything to quiet the hunger. As I get close to the pond I take a look at the reflective surface.
What stares back isn't me. It scares me.
I was always thin, tall, with my eyes looking almost like two balls jutting out of my face. Long, thin hair dripping down from it, like waterfalls, falling from my face and my rear, and the green of my back really vibrant.
Now I look dried up. As once my thinness was one of beauty, it looks like one of weakness, where my hair looked flowing, it now looks dried up, where my colors popped out of my dark skin, now they look faded and gray.
The pain of how I ended up almost makes me forget the agony of the hunger. I quickly look up, take a deep breath, as to relieve all the emotion that came over me, and search for anything. Something needs to be living around here.
As quickly as I spot it my body almost juts to the frog in the middle of the pond. I fall on it, and we fall into the water. It's small, barely fits into my hand, but everything is more than what I have.
Almost like muscle memory, I didn't even had to think about it. The love of the frog leaves it, and rushes to my mouth, and the moment I start to taste it, the pain subsides. It barely tastes sweet, but I can feel small traces of it. Reminds me of when I had Shining Armor my the collar, his love was the sweetest I had tastes, and one that filled me to the point I was stronger than a princess. Now I have to feed from this slimy creature that barely has anything to give.
And when it stops, the pain returns. I'm a changeling, I am in constant pain, in constant hunger, only when I feed I can feel some sense of peace, and when the pain return it comes back stronger than before.
I start to scream, and I hear bubbles. I almost forgot I fell into the pond, and the air is quickly running out
I muster all the strength I have and gained from this to go back up, I start to swim pushing the water down, forcing myself to rise as fast as I can, but the surface is far away, and as I start to suffocate I jet out, gasping for air.
I need a few minutes to recompose myself. I look around and only see grass, trees and more grass. I must be the unluckiest girl ever, nothing to prey on and no one to trick into helping me.
I slowly get out of the pond and start to dry myself..I'd rather not look again into what I have become, maybe I can change into something, someone.
I close.my eyes and try to think of a normal pony, some pony I can pass myself as in case someone finds me, and some pony no one will find weird if it act. That photographer no one cared for will do nicely.
If I'm needing to focus, I might even be in worse shape than I ever had been. I try to picture her face exactly how it was. Her long, red hair, and faint green skin. I picture her exactly how she was and use all my strength to project it onto myself. It takes a lot of effort not to break concentration with all this hurting, but I remember nothing will ever relieve me if that
I open my eyes, look to the horizon and sigh, as even if I'm hiding all I am, I will never be free from who I am. I must feed, or I will perish.

Two birds, one tree.
It's been hours now.
My hooves hurt, I feel lost, I can barely still keep awake, but I can't just stop anywhere to rest. I have no one, and I know they will find me and hurt me if I stop. That is, if the hunger doesn't consume me first.
From how long it took for the sun to set, I must have broken free close to night already, so it shouldn't have take this long for me to get to any town close.
Something has been very wrong me since I've awoken, like I can't take control of my powers. I hunger like never before, and whenever I find something to feed, no matter how hard I try, I barely am able to drain enough for something more than a slight relief, which, shortly after, it all comes back. And that's not to mention the disaster that it was when I tried to transform. I'd rather not even think about it.
I look up to the stars above. They look beautiful, and the moon is full tonight. Too bad it's empty for a while now. It used to have the image of a mare on it for so long that it's been feeling weird ever since it disappeared. Maybe that's how it will happen to me. I'll just go away someday, and only those who remember miss me.
Just as I start to feel bad for myself, the hunger grows bigger. I need love. I need to take them from others. I need to feed.
It gets to a point that it's even hard to keep walking. I look close to a tree and slowly make my way to it. It has a hollow, so maybe I can find some sort of bird in there to pretend to be fine.
When I look inside I find two succulent baby birds. "Perfect" I mutter. Hatchlings yearn so much for affection of their mother that I can have I feast. I should know, I raised thousands of-
"Thousands of traitors! That's what they are!" I scream, loudly waking up the chicks.
Great, now noise which I'll.habe to deal with. I look to the one who comes closer to me, thinking I'm their mom here to feed them. Too bad the only thing that will feed here is me. I prepare myself to eat, and can feel how much it yearns for protection, and slowly I start to weave it into magic, making a nice little snack for me to eat.
I pull it out from inside them, and slowly can feel it. Bitter, confused, looking for some sort of comfort. The only comfort here is that I might have enough strength to sleep well.
Slowly the chirps that have been annoying me stop being a duet and become a solo. I've drained all I could from the first one, and start looking forward to the second one, I weave its love and eat it, but something is different. It's not bitter, it's something closer to a minty flavour.
That's why I love so much draining all their love, no matter how much close you might be to someone, your love is your own, and nothing will ever be like it. This chick feels like it isn't respected by its brother, so it's way more cold and raspy, which explains the taste.
When I'm finished, I take the nest and put it on one of the branches. Tonight, I will be sleeping here, and it will keep me safe from them.
I don't care if their mother gets here, after all, I can just drain her too, which will be even better.
It's a tight fit, but a bug like me can wriggle and squirm all I want till I get confortable, and getting all squished up does indeed feel comfortable. I haven't been able to have my own pod like this ever since that damned Starlight destroyed my throne and turned all my subjects against me.
I start to hunger once again. The pain comes back, just as strong as before. I start to wonder if this is my new normal, if I never again will be able to stay only moderately hungry, if all that time away made my body used to this. All become of those damned ponies and their little friendship. I will have my revenge, and I will make sure everypony feels my rage, my discontent and that they never again are able to feel love without it going straight into my body. I will never again hunger like this.
