After one year of living a peaceful, magical life, Sunny Starscout rejoices as Equestria is once again back on its feet (or hooves). But the evil mastermind Axor is still relentless in his conquest of the multiverse. With the help of the villainous Toffee, Axor plans to unleash a world of pain and suffering upon the Mane Five—the painful “truth” of the Magic of Friendship.

NOTE: This happens after the events of “MLP: A New Generation”, after the events of the series finale of “Star vs The Forces of Evil”, and is an alternate sequence of events that occurred in MLP: Make Your Mark: Chapter 2 Episode 2 “Growing Pains”.
