The sorcerers in Equestria: A battle for friendship
School Raze (part two)
Previous ChapterNext ChapterJune glanced at Inumaki with curiosity. "Inumaki-senpai, now that there's no cursed energy here, can you talk freely?"
The room went silent as everyone turned their attention to Inumaki. Yuji, standing nearby, looked particularly eager to hear his friend's real voice.
Inumaki hesitated, his eyes scanning the room as if weighing the decision. After a few moments, he finally opened his mouth. "Salmon."
Yuji blinked in surprise, then broke into a grin. "Really, Inumaki? Even now?"
Panda laughed, clapping Inumaki on the back. "Guess old habits die hard, huh?"
June looked at Inumaki, a little confused. "So… you’re choosing not to speak normally?"
Inumaki shrugged with a sly smile, then said, "Tuna mayo."
The room erupted in laughter, the tension evaporating as everyone realized Inumaki was sticking to his unique way of communicating, no matter the circumstances.
Cozy Glow, with her usual sweet smile, gathered the students in the main hall. "I know you're all sad about everything that's happened," she began in a soft, comforting tone, "but don't worry. Now you have me to run the school!" Her words were met with a mixture of confusion and suspicion from the students.
Ijichi, standing with the group of teachers, furrowed his brow in confusion. "What does she mean by that?" he whispered to his colleagues, glancing around to see if anyone else understood.
Gallus, scratching his head, looked just as puzzled. "Wait, isn't Starlight Glimmer supposed to be running the school? This doesn't make any sense."
Cozy Glow's smile widened, her eyes gleaming with a hint of mischief. "Oh, she was! But she left a note saying she'd be gone for a while, and in the meantime, she left the school in my hooves!"
Yuji exchanged a bewildered look with his friends. "This doesn't add up. Why would Starlight just leave like that?"
Megumi nodded in agreement, his expression serious. "Something feels off about this."
Nanami, observing Cozy closely, added in a low voice, "It's suspicious, but we should be cautious. Let's not jump to conclusions without more information."
Cozy Glow, noticing their uncertainty, fluttered her wings and gave a little shrug. "Oh, I know this might seem strange to you all, but that's just because you're not accustomed to how things work around here. Don't worry; you'll get the hang of it! And to help you adjust, I've prepared some homework for you and the Young Six!"
She then handed out sheets of paper to everyone, her smile never fading. The Young Six and the jujutsu students stared at the assignments, their confusion only deepening.
Sandbar frowned as he looked at the homework Cozy had given them. "This is really weird. Starlight never mentioned anything about leaving."
Yuji, flipping through the pages, muttered under his breath, "Something isn't right here… We need to figure out what's really going on."
The teachers exchanged concerned glances, all of them aware that Cozy Glow's sudden rise to power was far from ordinary.
As the group gathered around to look at the homework Cozy Glow had handed out, Yuji, trying to lighten the mood, reached into his bag and pulled out a container of freshly made dumplings. "Hey, I made these earlier for everyone. I figured we could use a break."
The aroma of the dumplings filled the room, and the students eagerly accepted his offer. Shoko smiled warmly at Yuji. "Thank you, Yuji. It's nice to have something comforting right now."
Nanami gave Yuji an approving nod. "Good thinking, Yuji. Preparing food in advance shows foresight."
As they were enjoying the dumplings, Yona noticed something unusual. "Yona sees Cozy Glow!" she whispered, pointing towards the far side of the hall. The others turned to see Cozy emerging from a trap door that led to the basement, a secretive look on her face.
"What's she up to now?" Gallus murmured, narrowing his eyes.
Without a word, the group quietly followed Cozy Glow, curiosity and suspicion driving them. They trailed her down the hall, making sure to stay out of sight as she headed towards a dimly lit room. As they approached, they could hear Cozy's voice, now speaking with someone else—Neighsay, the former head of the Equestria Education Association.
They crept closer, trying to catch bits of the conversation. "The school will be under our control soon," Neighsay's voice echoed through the hallway. "And with these new students, we'll have even more power."
Just as they were straining to hear more, the floor beneath them creaked ominously. Before anyone could react, the trap door swung open under their combined weight, and they tumbled into the room below. Only Sandbar managed to grab the edge of the door in time, staying above ground while the others fell.
Neighsay turned swiftly, his eyes narrowing as he spotted the group. "Eavesdropping, I see," he sneered, his horn glowing with magical energy. "That won't do."
With a quick incantation, Neighsay cast a binding spell, ropes of magical energy wrapping around the students and pinning them to the ground. Cozy Glow stood by his side, her innocent facade gone, replaced with a smug smile.
Sandbar, realizing the danger, quickly put on a convincing act. "Wait, Neighsay! I agree with you!" he called out, making sure his voice carried a tone of sincerity. "You're right about the school needing better control. Let me help you!"
Neighsay paused, his eyes narrowing as he considered Sandbar's words. After a moment, he nodded. "Very well. You may be of use to us. Come with me."
Sandbar gave a quick glance to his friends, a silent promise in his eyes, before following Neighsay out of the room, leaving the others trapped.
As the door shut behind Sandbar, the group was left alone, bound by the spell. Gallus struggled against the magical ropes. "I can't believe this is happening. What are we going to do now?"
Yuji, thinking quickly, glanced at the others. "We need to find a way out of here. Sandbar's smart; he'll find a way to help us. We just need to hold on until then."
The teachers, who had been lingering behind, managed to avoid getting caught and were now plotting their own rescue plan, determined to free the students and stop whatever Cozy Glow and Neighsay were planning.
Meanwhile, in the dark, foreboding depths of Tartarus, Gojo Satoru stood alongside the Mane Six as they confronted the imprisoned centaur, Tirek. The air was thick with unease as Tirek loomed in his cage, his piercing eyes gleaming with malevolence. The Mane Six were on edge, but Gojo remained his usual relaxed self, a slight smirk playing on his lips.
Tirek's deep, rumbling voice broke the silence. "So, you’ve come to see the fruits of my labor? How amusing."
Twilight Sparkle stepped forward, her wings flaring slightly. "We know you've been stealing magic, Tirek, but there's something else you've been tapping into. Cursed energy. What do you know about it?"
Tirek's grin widened, showing off his sharp teeth. "Ah, yes. Cursed energy. A fascinating power, different from your pony magic but no less potent. I've been exploring its potential, thanks to a little advice from an unexpected source."
Gojo raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "And who might that be?"
Tirek leaned forward, his chains clinking ominously. "I’ve been corresponding with someone quite clever. A young pony with ambitions as grand as mine. Her name… is Cozy Glow."
The revelation sent a ripple of shock through the group. Twilight's eyes widened. "Cozy Glow? But how—?"
Gojo cut her off, his tone now more serious. "So she’s involved in this too. It’s starting to make sense now."
Back at the School of Friendship, the tension was equally high. Ijichi, Nanami, Mei Mei, Shoko Ieiri, Utahime, and the Kyoto students were all gathered together, following closely behind Sandbar. The young earth pony had managed to convince Neighsay of his loyalty, but now he was leading the group through the secret passage Cozy Glow had used earlier.
Sandbar stopped at a large, imposing door, the same one Cozy had emerged from. "This is it," he whispered, pushing the door open.
As the door creaked open, the group gasped. Inside the room was a large, spherical cage, pulsing with dark magic. Trapped within was Starlight Glimmer, suspended in midair, her magic being drained by the malevolent force surrounding her.
Starlight looked weak but managed to lift her head when she saw them. "Help…"
Nanami's expression darkened as he surveyed the scene. "This is worse than we thought."
Shoko immediately moved closer, analyzing the magical barrier. "We need to get her out of there, but this magic is powerful. It's draining her completely."
Utahime, her brow furrowed in concentration, nodded. "If we don't act quickly, she won't have any magic left."
Mei Mei, ever calm and calculating, glanced at the students and the Crusaders who had followed them. "We need to work together to dismantle this barrier. Sandbar, you did well leading us here. Now let’s save Starlight and put an end to Cozy Glow’s plan."
With everyone focused and determined, they began working together to free Starlight, knowing that time was running out and that their friends were facing even greater threats in Tartarus.
As the group strategized on how to free Starlight, they suddenly heard a voice echoing through the chamber. Cozy Glow, completely unaware of their presence, was circling around the magic-draining sphere, a twisted grin on her face.
"Enjoying yourself in there, Starlight?" Cozy taunted, her tone dripping with mock sweetness. "It must be so frustrating, having all that power and not being able to do a thing with it. But don't worry, I'm just getting started. Soon, this whole school will be under my control, and no one will be able to stop me."
Starlight, visibly weakened but still defiant, glared at Cozy. "You won't get away with this, Cozy. The others will stop you."
Cozy Glow let out a giggle, twirling around as if she were in a dance. "Oh, I wouldn’t be so sure about that. They’re all too busy worrying about silly things like friendship and harmony. By the time they figure out what’s really going on, it’ll be too late."
From their hidden vantage point, Nanami and the others exchanged determined looks. Cozy’s arrogance might just be her downfall. They knew they had to act quickly and quietly if they were going to save Starlight and put an end to Cozy’s schemes before it was too late.
Mei Mei, assessing the situation, whispered to the group, "We'll need to move fast and take her by surprise. She doesn’t know we’re here, and that’s our advantage."
Utahime nodded, her voice low but resolute. "Let’s end this. We’ll save Starlight and make sure Cozy Glow doesn’t have the chance to hurt anyone else."
The group prepared to make their move, knowing the fate of the school—and possibly all of Equestria—rested on their success.
As Cozy Glow continued to circle the sphere, her eyes gleamed with a sinister satisfaction. "You know, Starlight, this isn’t just about taking over the school. Oh no, I’m thinking much bigger than that."
Starlight, struggling against the weakening effects of the magic-draining sphere, managed to gasp out, "What… are you planning, Cozy?"
Cozy Glow’s grin widened, and she leaned in closer to the sphere, her voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper, though still loud enough for the hidden group to hear. "This vortex I’ve trapped you in isn’t just draining your magic, Starlight. It’s connected to a much larger spell—one that’s slowly but surely draining all the magic and cursed energy from every corner of Equestria."
Starlight’s eyes widened in horror. "You… you can’t do that! You’ll destroy everything!"
Cozy Glow laughed, a high-pitched, chilling sound that echoed around the chamber. "Destroy? Oh no, I’m not going to destroy anything. I’m going to control it. Imagine it, Starlight—all the magic, all the cursed energy in the entire land, all mine to command. And with everyone else powerless, there’ll be no one left to stop me!"
From their hidden position, Ijichi’s eyes narrowed. "This is worse than we imagined," he whispered. "If she succeeds…"
Nanami clenched his fists, his usually calm demeanor giving way to visible anger. "We won’t let her succeed. We need to stop that vortex and free Starlight now."
Mei Mei’s voice was cold and determined as she added, "She’s overconfident. Let’s use that against her. We’ll hit her hard and fast, take down this vortex, and make sure she never gets the chance to enact her twisted plan."
Sandbar, still holding onto the act of loyalty to Cozy, edged closer to the door, ready to spring into action as soon as the signal was given.
The group, now more resolved than ever, prepared to strike. They knew that the fate of Equestria was at stake, and they were ready to do whatever it took to stop Cozy Glow and save their world.
Cozy Glow, still circling the sphere with Starlight trapped inside, continued her monologue, her tone laced with a mixture of arrogance and glee. "You know, Starlight, at first I was a little worried about those jujutsu sorcerers showing up. They seemed like they might be a problem. Especially that Gojo Satoru—he’s powerful, I’ll give him that."
She paused, smirking to herself. "But with him out of the way, all the way down in Tartarus, I realized something. The rest of them? They’re not really a threat. Sure, they have some power, but here in Equestria, without their precious cursed energy, they’re just a bunch of weaklings playing at being heroes."
Starlight, though weakened, managed to glare at Cozy through the draining effects of the vortex. "You’re underestimating them, Cozy. They’re stronger than you think."
Cozy Glow waved a hoof dismissively. "Oh, please. Without Gojo here to lead them, they’re just flailing around in the dark. They don’t understand our magic, and they’re not a match for my plans. By the time they realize what’s happening, it’ll be far too late."
She stopped in front of the sphere, her eyes gleaming with malicious delight. "And you, Starlight? You were always so sure of yourself, so confident in your magic and your friendship. But look at you now. Helpless, drained, powerless to stop me."
From their hidden spot, Utahime clenched her fists, barely holding back her anger. "She thinks we’re weak because Gojo isn’t here. We’ll show her just how wrong she is."
Nanami nodded, his expression grim. "She’s made a fatal mistake in underestimating us. We need to move now, before she realizes we’re here."
Mei Mei gave a small, dangerous smile. "Let's remind her why she should have been concerned."
Back in Tartarus, the atmosphere grew tense as Tirek’s words sank in. The Mane Six and Gojo stared at him in disbelief, their minds racing with the implications of what they had just learned.
"Cozy Glow… she’s behind this?" Twilight Sparkle’s voice was a mix of shock and disbelief. "But she’s just a filly!"
Gojo’s usual nonchalant expression hardened. "It’s always the ones you least expect. If she’s managed to tap into cursed energy and Equestrian magic, she’s more dangerous than any of us realized."
Rainbow Dash, flapping her wings in agitation, exclaimed, "We have to get back to the School of Friendship, now! Who knows what she’s doing there!"
Applejack nodded, her face set in determination. "She’s fooled us all before, but we ain’t lettin’ her get away with it this time."
The group rushed towards the exit, hearts pounding with urgency. But as they reached the massive door leading out of Tartarus, Twilight’s horn glowing to open it, they were met with an unwelcome surprise.
The door was locked—magically sealed tight. Twilight’s magic pulsed against it, but the door didn’t budge.
Rarity gasped, her eyes wide with worry. "What’s going on? Why won’t it open?"
Gojo stepped forward, placing his hand on the door, his cursed energy flaring slightly as he attempted to unravel the magical seal. But even with his immense power, the door remained shut.
"This isn’t an ordinary lock," Gojo muttered, his voice laced with frustration. "It’s been reinforced, likely by whoever Cozy’s working with. They don’t want us getting back in time."
Fluttershy’s eyes filled with concern. "But if we’re trapped here… who will stop Cozy Glow?"
Pinkie Pie bounced nervously, her usual cheerfulness replaced with anxious energy. "There’s gotta be a way out! There’s always a way out, right?"
Twilight, her face pale with worry, continued to pour her magic into the door. "I’m trying, but it’s going to take time to break through this seal."
Gojo stepped back, assessing the situation. "We’ll get through this door, but we need to do it fast. If Cozy Glow is draining magic and cursed energy, every second counts."
With renewed determination, the group worked together, combining their magic and strength to break through the powerful seal. The knowledge that Cozy Glow was behind such a sinister plan fueled their resolve. They knew they had to return to the School of Friendship before it was too late.
As they continued their efforts, the clock was ticking, and the stakes had never been higher.
Back at the School of Friendship, the group was frantically trying to free Starlight Glimmer from the magic-draining sphere. Nanami, Mei Mei, and Ijichi were coordinating their efforts, while the Crusaders and the Kyoto students stood guard, watching for any sign of Cozy Glow or other threats.
As Utahime focused her energy on dismantling the magical barrier around Starlight, something unexpected happened. Dark, shadowy claws suddenly emerged from the vortex, reaching out with alarming speed and precision. They wrapped around Utahime's arms, trying to pull her into the dark vortex.
Utahime gasped in shock, struggling against the force pulling her in. "What the—!?"
But before she could be dragged further, Shoko, her eyes wide with fear for her friend, acted on pure instinct. She lunged forward and grabbed Utahime's hand with both of hers, holding on with all her strength. "I’ve got you!" Shoko shouted, her voice filled with determination.
Utahime clung tightly to Shoko, feeling the strength of their bond as her best friend refused to let go. The others quickly realized the situation was spiraling out of control.
"We need to get out of here and regroup!" Nanami commanded, his voice cutting through the chaos.
With a final, desperate pull, Shoko yanked Utahime away from the claws, and the two stumbled back to safety. They all knew they couldn’t do this alone.
"We need backup," Mei Mei agreed, her usual calm demeanor showing a hint of urgency. "We have to find the others."
Ijichi nodded. "Let's head to the room where the Young Six and the Tokyo students are. We need all the help we can get."
The group hurried through the hallways, their footsteps echoing off the walls. They burst into the room where the Young Six were waiting with the Tokyo students. The moment they entered, the situation was clear—everyone needed to act fast.
Todo, who had been resting after a brief reconnaissance of the area, immediately sprang into action. "I’ll take the high ground. You all focus on protecting each other."
Without waiting for a response, Todo ran to the nearest window, his massive frame moving with surprising agility. He grabbed onto the ledge and began climbing the exterior of the building with ease, reaching the window that overlooked the area where Starlight was trapped.
He pushed the window open and called down to the others, "I’ve got the vantage point! Just give the word, and I’ll take care of anything that comes our way!"
With Todo ready to provide support from above, the group below regrouped, their determination renewed. They knew they were up against something powerful, but with everyone working together, they had a chance to turn the tide and rescue Starlight before it was too late.
As the group continued their efforts to rescue Starlight Glimmer, Todo took charge of another critical task. After securing the area, he noticed that the Young Six and the Tokyo students were still trapped in a locked room nearby, a result of Cozy Glow's earlier machinations.
Realizing they couldn’t be left behind, Todo sprinted toward the building where the students were trapped. With his usual confidence, he reached the building's exterior and began scaling the walls with ease, his powerful arms and legs propelling him upward.
Within moments, Todo reached the window of the locked room. He peered inside and saw the Young Six and the Tokyo students looking worried but determined. Yūji, Nobara, and Megumi were trying to find a way to force the door open, but the magical lock was proving too strong.
"Don’t worry, I’m here!" Todo called out from the window, catching everyone’s attention.
Gallus looked up, surprised and relieved. "Todo! We’re stuck in here! The door won’t budge!"
Todo grinned, his enthusiasm never wavering. "Not for long!"
With a mighty push, Todo forced the window open. He squeezed through the narrow opening, dropping into the room with the others. "Everyone, stand back," he instructed.
The students moved away from the door as Todo approached it. He took a deep breath, gathering his energy, and then with one powerful punch, he struck the door with all his might. The force of the blow shattered the magical lock, and the door swung open with a loud crash.
The Young Six and the Tokyo students cheered as the door flew open. Yūji clapped Todo on the back. "You really saved us there, Todo. Thanks!"
Nobara nodded in approval. "Nice work. We were starting to think we’d be stuck in here for a while."
Gallus and the other Young Six members were equally relieved. "We owe you one, Todo," Smolder said with a grateful smile.
Todo waved off their thanks, his grin widening. "No need for that. We’ve got bigger things to worry about. Now, let’s go help the others. Starlight’s been rescued, but we’re not done yet."
With the door open and everyone free, the group quickly rejoined the others. United once more, the Tokyo students, Young Six, and the rest of their allies prepared to confront Cozy Glow and put an end to her plans. The rescue mission was successful, but they all knew the final battle was just beginning.
Momo and Mai walk up to the group, which includes the Tokyo students, teachers, the Young Six, and the Kyoto students. Momo speaks with urgency, "Everyone, we need to talk. We've just learned something important."
Mai, her expression serious, adds, "It's about Cozy Glow. She's not what she seems at all."
Megum, arms crossed, tilts his head, "What exactly do you mean?"
Momo glances at everyone before continuing, "She's been draining all the magic and cursed energy in Equestria. That's why everything feels off."
Gallus looks surprised, "Draining all the magic? But why?"
Nanami, ever the pragmatist, frowns, "This explains the strange fluctuations we've been sensing. We need to address this immediately."
Yuji clenches his fists, "So, what do we do now?"
Mai exchanges a look with Momo, "We have to confront her before she causes any more damage."
As the Crusaders engage Cozy Glow in conversation, drawing her attention away, the students, teachers, and the Young Six quietly slip into the room where they find Neighsay chained to a chair. His eyes narrow as they enter, clearly expecting retribution for his past actions.
"You've come to exact your revenge, haven’t you?" Neighsay sneers, his voice tinged with resignation.
Yuji steps forward, shaking his head. "No, that's not why we're here. We're here to help you."
Neighsay looks confused as the group quickly works to free him from his chains. Once he's free, he rubs his wrists, clearly surprised by their actions.
Nobara explains, "Cozy Glow has been draining all the magic and cursed energy in Equestria. We need to stop her, and we thought you should know what's really going on."
Realizing the gravity of the situation, Neighsay’s expression shifts from suspicion to determination. "If that's the case, we must act quickly. I'll try to reach Celestia and warn her."
Neighsay focuses, casting a portal with a burst of magic. The swirling energy begins to form, showing a distant view of Canterlot.
"Good luck," Mei Mei says, her voice steady, reflecting the seriousness of the moment.
Neighsay nods solemnly before stepping through the portal, leaving the group to face the looming threat of Cozy Glow.
Back in Tartarus, Twilight Sparkle stands surrounded by the monstrous creatures, their eyes filled with a desperate hope. One by one, they channel their magic into her, their once formidable powers flowing into Twilight. Even Tirek, the most feared among them, relinquishes his magic, knowing it's their only chance.
With the combined magic coursing through her, Twilight concentrates and directs her power toward the massive door that has kept them imprisoned. The ancient locks groan and creak before finally giving way, the door slowly swinging open.
Twilight and the Mane Six, with Gojo at their side, waste no time. They rush through the door, escaping the dark confines of Tartarus. The door slams shut behind them with a resounding boom, sealing the now powerless creatures inside.
The group pauses for a moment, catching their breath, knowing that they've narrowly escaped a dire fate.
Back at the School of Friendship, Cozy Glow leads the pony students, her voice filled with false concern as she spins a tale of deception. "The jujutsu sorcerers and the Young Six trapped Starlight in there because they don’t have any magic," she tells the students, her words laced with manipulation.
Convinced by Cozy's lies, the pony students move to grab the jujutsu sorcerers and the Young Six. In the commotion, Gallus slips and falls into a swirling vortex that suddenly appears beneath him. Without hesitation, the others rush to save him, but the claws of the vortex grip tightly, pulling all of them in.
As they disappear into the vortex, the pony students watch in shock, realizing that the group had sacrificed themselves to save their friend. Despite this, Cozy Glow coldly tells them, "Leave them. They were the ones who caused this in the first place."
Just then, a brilliant rainbow magic begins to swirl around the group inside the vortex. The magic surrounds them, pulling them out of the vortex and back to safety. As they emerge, they manage to grab the artifacts, which radiates with power.
The magic bubble spreads across Equestria, restoring magic and cursed energy to the land. In the distance, Gojo, now back at the school with the Mane Six, watches with a knowing smile. He senses the return of magic and the presence of his students' energy, proud of their actions.
With a snap of his fingers, Gojo teleports the Mane Six and himself back to the School of Friendship, ready to join the others as the balance of magic is restored.
Cozy Glow's face twists with fury as the reality of her failed plan sets in. "Great, just great! Now Twilight and her ridiculous friends are going to show up and ruin everything!" she snaps, her voice dripping with frustration and anger.
As if on cue, a blinding flash of light fills the room. When it fades, Gojo Satoru and the Mane Six stand before her, their expressions a mix of anger and determination. The room falls silent as the intensity of their presence becomes palpable. Cozy Glow’s eyes widen in fear, and she takes a step back, realizing that her time is up.
Desperation takes over, and Cozy Glow turns on her hooves, trying to make a quick escape. But the pegasi and royal guards, already prepared, swoop down and block every possible exit. She skids to a halt, trapped on all sides. The realization that she has nowhere to go begins to sink in, and her bravado quickly fades.
Just then, Princess Luna steps forward, her tall figure commanding respect and authority. Her eyes lock onto Cozy Glow, who now cowers under her gaze. "Cozy Glow, your schemes end here. You will be taken to Tartarus, where you can no longer harm the creatures of Equestria."
Luna’s voice is cold and firm, leaving no room for argument. With a flick of her horn, she conjures magical restraints that bind Cozy Glow, preventing any further attempts to escape. The young villain is then surrounded by the guards, who ensure she cannot slip away as they prepare to escort her to Tartarus.
Cozy Glow, now completely defeated, glares at the Mane Six and the jujutsu sorcerers, her once smug expression replaced with a mix of fear and bitterness. "This isn’t over," she mutters under her breath, though the fire in her words is all but extinguished.
Luna gives a solemn nod to the Mane Six and Gojo before she and the guards, with Cozy Glow in tow, vanish into the shadows, heading toward Tartarus. The heavy door to the school closes behind them with a finality that echoes through the hall.
With the immediate threat dealt with, the tension in the room begins to dissipate. Gojo turns to his students, his usual laid-back demeanor returning. He steps forward, ruffling Yuji’s hair, then Megumi’s, and finally Nobara’s. "You all did an amazing job," he says with a smile, pride evident in his voice. "I knew you had it in you. I’m proud of each and every one of you."
Yuji grins, trying to smooth his hair back down, while Megumi gives a small, appreciative nod. Nobara, though pretending to be annoyed by the gesture, can’t hide the smile tugging at the corners of her lips.
Not far away, Utahime steps up to the Kyoto students, who have gathered together after the intense ordeal. Her usual stern expression softens as she looks at them. "You handled yourselves well. I’m proud of all of you," she says, her voice gentle but sincere.
Mai crosses her arms and smirks, trying to play it cool, but it’s clear that the praise means a lot to her. Momo and the others exchange relieved smiles, the weight of what they’ve accomplished beginning to settle in.
The Mane Six, watching this exchange, share a look of mutual respect with the sorcerers. They know that without the combined efforts of everyone involved, Equestria might have been lost. Twilight steps forward, addressing the group, "Thank you all for your bravery and for standing up against Cozy Glow. Equestria owes you a great debt."
The room, once filled with uncertainty and fear, now feels lighter, filled with the warmth of camaraderie and shared victory. As everyone begins to relax, the knowledge that they’ve restored balance to Equestria and protected their friends brings a deep sense of satisfaction.
Gojo, glancing at the Mane Six, gives a knowing smile. "I think we could all use a little rest after this. What do you say?"
Twilight nods, a relieved smile on her face. "I couldn’t agree more."
With the school now safe and the magic and cursed energy restored to Equestria, the group slowly disperses, the bonds formed during this trial stronger than ever. As they leave the room, the sense of unity and the knowledge that they’ve done something truly important lingers in the air, a testament to their courage and teamwork.
