Chat the new allegations just dropped!

Spike and Starlight, along with some of the Mane Six, all stared at a radio in the center of the room as they patiently waited for a certain news broadcast to play.

"Why is Twilight even going on this show to side with Princess Celestia? I think we can all agree that what she did was DESPICABLE!" Rarity said as she folded her hooves. Everyone else in the room stayed silent before another pony spoke up.

"I mean, I always knew something was off with that princess—" Rainbow Dash began before being cut off by Applejack.

"Yeah, you always know, Dash," Applejack said sarcastically. Applejack turned to Pinkie Pie, who had a semi-deflated mane.

"What about you, Sugarcube? What's your thought on all of this, since ya know... it happened at your store?" Pinkie Pie said nothing as she slumped in her chair. Applejack was about to say something else before the radio came to life.

"Wait, it happened at Pinkie's store?! Spike, I’m still confused. What exactly is going on? What did Celestia get outed for?" Starlight said, completely unaware of the situation.

"I’m pretty sure they’ll explain it all in the broadcast," Spike said before shushing everyone.

"Alright, here it is," Spike said as he turned up the volume on the radio. A stallion's voice boomed through the speakers.

"HELLO TO EVERY PONY THAT IS LISTENING IN ON THIS FREQUENCY. I AM YOUR HOST CREAM STAR, AND LET'S GET RIGHT INTO THE NEWS! Today we will be getting an exclusive interview with Twilight Sparkle, Princess Celestia's faithful student, but how faithful is the student now that all these allegations about her mentor are out? Well, that’s what we’ll be talking about today. Good morning, Ms. Sparkle."

"Good morning, Mr. Star."

"Wow, that was an intense intro... I kinda like it," Rainbow Dash said.

"Quiet, I am trying to listen," Spike said.

"So, Ms. Sparkle—"

"You can just call me Twilight."

"Oh, first name basis? No problem. So, Twilight, as we both know, 48 hours ago, allegations came out about your mentor. The document states that the local bakery in Ponyville was hosting a field trip party for a local school, correct?"

"That is correct."

"And that Princess Celestia decided to join in on this field trip to help chaperone?"

"Also correct."

"Okay then. Now, folks, here we get into the crazy allegations. It says that while Princess Celestia was in one of the baking rooms with some fillies to help them bake cakes, a teacher walked in on a truly horrifying scene. She saw multiple fillies crying their hearts out as Princess Celestia fled the scene." An audible sigh came through the radio as Twilight spoke up again.

"That, uh... erm, that would be correct as well."

"Great. So, Twilight, what are your thoughts on these allegations?"

"They are just that, Mr. Star, they are allegations. My mentor would never do this to innocent fillies."

"Interesting statement, Twilight, because we do have records of these sorts of events surrounding Celestia, albeit not to this DEGREE."

"Well, yes... you are right. My mentor does have a problem. Me, Luna, and Cadance have tried to get her help for this addiction she has, but... it’s all kinda gone in vain."

"I can agree with you on that, Twilight."

"But then again," Twilight said hastily, "we should not fully blame Celestia for this."

"Oh, and why is that?"

"Well, theoretically speaking, the school should have known that Celestia had these urges when she is around that kind of environment."

"And here is where we disagree, Twilight. How is the common public supposed to know EVERYTHING about the ruler? It is not until this incident occurred that we now learn about this disgusting addiction that your mentor has."

"Okay, it's not that disgusting... It’s just a bit taboo?" Twilight said with uncertainty. The Mane Six erupted in awe and shock.

"THERE IS NO WAY TWILIGHT JUST SAID THAT!" Rarity screamed.

"Dear Faust..." Applejack said as she took off her hat and put it on the table.

"What the actual buck was that?! Is she trying to get herself canceled as well?" Rainbow Dash said.

Starlight was still trying to wrap her head around what the princess could have done. She went through all the possibilities in her head before coming to a conclusion.

"DEAR LUNA NO!" she screamed. She could feel the contents of what she ate trying to fly back up, but she held her ground and kept it down. She began to rub her head as a pink hoof poked her.

"Finally understand now?" Starlight just looked at Pinkie with worry.

"Y-yeah." Everyone turned their sights to the radio as Mr. Star was now laughing.

"There is no way you just said taboo. No, no, no, this has to be a sign of an unwell individual. An unwell person who’s addicted to go so far and do what was done to those fillies SHOULD NOT BE RUNNING OUR COUNTRY RIGHT NOW!"

"Well, Mr. Star, I don’t think that reasoning is warranted."

"How so?"

"Well, think of it like this. For example, let's say the captain of the royal guard is addicted to smoking. Should he be considered an unwell individual and be stripped of his title?"

"Well, it depends on how he does his job. If the smoking addiction interferes with his rightful duties, then yes, he should be stripped of his title. And as for the unwell part, I don't think so."

"So you have just contradicted yourself then."

"Excuse me, what?!"

"While I do agree with the first part of your statement, you said that smoking would not make the captain unwell. Smoking has all sorts of side effects, as research has shown. And even if it had no ill side effects and was perfect to use, my mentor would not be an 'unwell' individual for doing what she does."

"Interesting... Well, here is the thing—" Just before Star could continue his sentence, a sound of teleportation magic came over the radio, and both Star and Twilight went silent.

"Well, well, well, folks. We have a special guest here. Say hello to the sunbutt princess who just teleported into my studio without my consent. You can tally that one up on the list, folks."

"I am sorry for barging in like this, Mr. Star," Celestia said, her voice shaky.

"Let me guess, come to plead your case?"

"N-no, what I did was unforgivable, and I would like to apologize to my ponies." An audible laugh came from Star as he spoke up.

"The floor is all yours, Your Highness."

"To anypony listening to this station... I am sorry for my actions." Celestia's sounds of sobbing could be heard from the radio now.

"I have done a great wrong to those fillies, and from the bottom of my heart, I apologize to the wonderful fillies and their families who have been affected by my actions on that fateful day. I should have never stolen the cakes those fillies worked so hard to make. At the time, my urges got the better of me, and I could not handle it and had to take all of them. But that's not an excuse. I know my trust in a lot of my ponies has been shattered, especially with those whom I have affected. So I am working on myself to do better... I have found a therapist and will be trying to get rid of the addiction I have to cake-eating. Once again, I am sorry for my actions, and I hope you can forgive me... Thank you." And just like that, Celestia was gone again.

"Well, folks, we just got the full trash and horrid 'apology' from the princess herself, and while I won't be forgiving her anytime soon, it’s up to you people to decide at home for yourselves. So before we end this show, let's get one last response from Twilight to see what she thinks about this response."

"Oh, she’s gone... WELL, I HAVE BEEN YOUR HOST CREAM STAR, AND YOU HAVE A GOOD NIGHT!"

Everyone in the room sat in silence until Starlight spoke up.

"W-wait, so all she did was steal cakes... but I thought—" Everyone turned to Starlight, their curiosity getting the better of them.

"Yeah, that’s what she did. What did you think?"

"Well, I mean... uhhh..." Starlight clapped her hooves together before exhaling.

"Okay, I just want all of you to know... What I am about to say will sound SUPER CRAZY, but you need to understand I had no idea what was going on and only had this radio show to clue me in on what happened." Everyone in the room nodded.

"Not to mention they were being super vague." Everyone nodded again.

"Okay, so with all that being said, I thought that Celestia had done something to those fillies..."

"Yeah, she stole their cakes."

"No, no, no, something uh else..." Everyone looked around at each other, still not knowing what Starlight was on about.

"GOSH! I THOUGHT CELESTIA BUCKED THOSE FILLIES!" Everyone in the room had looks ranging from confusion to horror. One by one, everyone started to get up and leave the room without saying a word.

"Guys, don't-" Everyone had left except for Fluttershy, who was shaking her head at starlight while giving the STARE

"P-please...Stop that," Fluttershy got up and walked out leaving starlight all by herself to soak in the embarrassment and shame.
