Author's Note

If there's a way to add sound effects id like to know. Also a generator for zecora would be nice. I'm not good with riddles.

Findings

"We were meant to rule together little sister. Will you accept my friendship?"

"Im so sorry! I missed you so much big sister!" The two alicorns embraced each other while crying happy to be united. Unfortunately their reunion was immediately interrupted by a purple mist that flew past every pony there. They turned their gaze to it as it forms a ring like shape that glows a dim red with the center facing the floor. The ring spins a bit and hits the floor, then starts going up. Although, as it starts moving up, a figure is being left from it as if it was creating it. The creature was as tall as Twilight and It was blue. There was a small red ring clipped to one of its ears and one gold ring around each wrist.

Pinkie Pie was the first one to greet them immediately placing a hoof on their shoulder while saying, "Hi! Where-"

Just as she touched them, their head turned fast and looked Pinkie in the eyes. Its own eyes were a black void with red irises that stared back at them. Pinkie felt a shiver run down their spine and just before she could do anything BLING. The creature disappeared in a flash leaving behind a small amount of staticky red mist that quickly dissipated. While worrying, they all pushed it to the back of their minds for a moment wanting Celestia to enjoy the reunion.

Once they left and made it back to pony vile, Celestia congratulated twilight and gave her a new mission which allowed her to stay with her new friends. once everyone left, she whispered to twilight, "Please try to find that...being. I'm not sure what their intentions are but they gave off a sinister feeling. Good luck." and with that, went off.

Over time she tried to find any signs of the entity that appeared but nothing. No strange reports of any kind. However, Luna saw a strange area within the dream realm, It was clouded with black and red ink. She couldn't sense any pony dreams in there so she left it alone since it creeped her out as well. Eventually the time came where twilight and her friends had to fight discord. As discord was being turned back into stone, he yelled out "Don't mess with the dream! Don't go near it!" as he became stone.

Confused, Twilight went to ask Princess Celestia about it. "and that's all he said. It didn't feel like a trick but... Do you know what he meant?"

"I'm sorry twilight but dreams are more of-"

"I know what he meant." Princess Luna was walking in when she heard the conversation. "Theres this...Odd area we have seen. Its an inky area that we don't dare to approach. It gives us...a bad feeling. We haven't said anything because we thought it would be ok if we left it alone."

"But what if its something that can stop or change discord for good?" Twilight asked.

"It might be possible your highness." Applejack chimed in. "for the short time we knew discord, I think he would try to steer any pony from something that could be used against him. Maybe the black ink and ominous feeling was also his doing."

"That is a possibility. Dear sister, could you please check it out? If this theory proves true, we could change discord without having to locate the spells required."

Luna looks to them nervous but hesitantly agrees. "We-I shall look into it." Luna really disliked the feeling the mass of inky dreams gave her and wanted nothing to do with it but if its just one of discords magic spells making her feel that way, then she could get through it. Every pony there except Fluttershy agreed to stay the night there. As the day past, Luna spent her time mentally preparing to enter the inky dream. She hopes that the worst part of it is just passing through its atmosphere. Once night falls she starts her dream duties. Once she finishes her rounds, she makes her way to the inky dream. Just passing through it made it feel like she was going through mud.

But she was relieved when she made it to the other side. The muddy feeling vanished as soon as she was in and was greeted by a bright green landscape. Green grass, blue skies and red clouds. "red clouds?" she thought to herself. It was the only thing that was off about this place.

She looked around again. The hills strangely made a loop. She flew around searching for anything. But the land was barren. Devoid of any life except grass and trees. She figured discord would of set some other kinds of preventative measures in here.

She landed to walk. "but why would he hide something in a dream? Or in a place so calm for that matter." She said aloud. When she faced forward she noticed a being in front of her. It was sitting down while hugging it's knees like a fetal position. It's eyes were closed.

She took a step towards it, the grass softly crunching under her hoof. It's ears twitched as it helps itself stand up, slightly hunched forwards with its fingers facing the ground. Luna stopped in her tracks as it started emitting an ominous aura. It was the being that appeared when she was turned good again.

"A dream...? So then this is a dream and not a prison...? How...lovely." it's voice sounded deep and low like someone whispering, yet it was loud like someone talking normally. "then that means I can escape. But first..." Their head slowly turned to Luna. The black void and shining red eyes stared at her. bling the hedgehog was suddenly close to her, reaching out with a sharp toothed smile spread across its face. Luna, terrified, ejected herself out the dream and huddled in her room till morning. Once Celestia had raised the sun, she had told her about what she'd seen.

"So it was a genuine warning. I'm sorry I had you check sister."

Just then, Fluttershy came flying in a bit late, looking a little sleepy. "Sorry I'm late every pony."

"If they called it a prison then they must be evil!" Rainbow dash said.

"o-or they just thought they were trapped there. Being stuck somewhere all alone for so long. I couldn't imagine what that would be like." Fluttershy said quietly while touching her hooves together nervously.

"Despite how they might look, let's try not to assume the worst." Celestia said.

"Yeah! Maybe they want friends and a welcoming party!"

"Luna and I will be visiting them together. If they're trapped, we can help them." They immediately got to it, all of them went with Luna into the dream realm. Each shuddering at the feeling of passing through the ink.

"this place is huge!" Pinkie pie said as she ran through and completed a looping hill.

"these clouds are weirdly color-" the cloud turned into a static red mist as rainbow dash touched it. She got worried about inhaling it but it instead seemed to pass through her without doing anything. Then the mist disappeared. Luna began to worry as she flew to the sky and looked to where she last saw the hedgehog. Except no one was here anymore

"I'm sorry sister but... They've gotten out."

"But how's that possible? If it's a dream, then shouldn't the dream disappear without the dreamer?" Twilight asked.

"it must of been the body that was imprisoned here." Now the ponies are worried and get to trying to locate the hedgehog.
