Over two years have passed since the devastating attack on Canterlot by the evil centaur, Tirek. In that time, the city has been rebuilt, changelings have spread throughout Equestria and become upstanding members of society, and Anon's foals have continued to grow. With a loving family and an upcoming marriage to the Queen of the Changelings, things are looking considerably up for the royal family.

That said, evil never truly rests. The Storm King has finally made his move on Equestria, only this time, the ponies are ready. What they aren't ready for, however, is the imposing Commander of the Storm King's forces: Tempest Shadow, to throw a wrench into Anon's life plans in the form of a crippling realization that his whole family had buried.

Now the only question is, can he and his friends survive the journey they must undertake to right this wrong? Or will the monster lurking in the shadows bring about the end of everything he holds dear.
