Celestia pov
I was looking out towards the city of Canterlot, a beautiful city that rested on the side of a mountain that thankfully never had to worry about falling thanks to numerous spells keeping Canterlot from falling, and smiled at my little subjects as they wandered throughout the streets while setting up various decorations for the upcoming festival. I also noticed some of Twilight’s friends helping out as well.
“Sister, the festival is going well.” I heard my sister, princess Luna, say as she stood to the right of me. Princess Luna was a mature woman with lightly tan skin and light blue eyes and her hair resembled that of the night sky with stars and a few constellations twinkling in it. Her outfit was that of a dark, navy blue sleeveless dress with the hem of it glittering a bit with a few pieces of regalia, which were black with her necklace and crown having a crescent moon embedded on them, completing her look. I also noticed the Magicrystal embedded in her forehead, hiding just below her crown.
“And it seems that Twilight and her friends are enjoying themselves.” I heard another voice say before I looked to my other side and saw my niece, princess Cadence standing next to me along with her husband who is also my former student's older brother Shining Armor. Cadence was a fair skinned woman with violet colored eyes. Her hair was actually three different colors which was pale yellow, magenta, and purple and was curled slightly at the ends. She wore a light pink, long sleeved dress with the sleeves gradianting to purple and like me and my sister, she wore regalia that was gold with her crown having a single purple gem in it.
Shining Armor was a rather tall and bulky man with hair that was three different shades of blue which was light, dark and regular and had teal colored eyes. His outfit was that of a fancy red suit and dress pants with the collar and cuffs of the suit being gold colored and he had a blue sash around his chest. Completing his look was a sword strapped to his side, clearly showing off his former guard status before marrying Cadence. “Yeah, especially that Pinkie girl. It looks like she’s having a blast.” Shining Armor said with a small chuckle.
I nodded in agreement while looking out towards my and my sister’s kingdom before noticing in the distance. “Hmm? What could that be?” I asked aloud while seeing massive airships coming towards our kingdom.
(Third person pov)
Everyone was having a blast during the festival, enjoying the music, games, and festivities. The air was practically filled with the sounds of laughter and shouts of joy of everyone attending the festival with some even thinking that nothing could possibly ruin such a fun event. But suddenly they felt the ground shake, confusing all of them before they grew afraid as they think it was an earthquake and that it might cause Canterlot to fall despite the spells keeping it from doing so. A loud panicked cry caused everyone to turn to see a woman pointing at something in the sky and look towards the direction the woman was pointing only to see a massive fleet of airships with a dark cloud following them as they flew towards the city.
Upon seeing them, everyone began to panic with some even beginning to run towards the exits of the city, thinking that the city was being invaded. However, a small group of women and young boy stare at the approaching airships with some fear and concern. “Twilight, where did those airships come from?” one girl asked with a bit of a southern accent to her voice. She had green eyes and blonde hair with the end being tied up by a red hair tie and freckles adorning her cheeks. She wore a red flannel shirt and jeans with a pair of brown, shin length boots on her feet with an equally brown stetson on her head.
“Who cares if they want a fight they got one!” another girl said with a tomboyish voice. She had magenta colored eyes and rainbow colored hair that almost looked like a buzz cut. She wore a white shirt with a blue sports jacket and shorts along with black tennis shoes with black fingerless gloves.
“Rainbow Dash you can’t seriously expect that we’ll be able to fight them are you?” a third woman asked the rainbow haired girl. This woman had fair skin and brilliant blue eyes with long styled lashes and her hair was purple and curled stylishly. She wore a white blouse with puffy sleeves and a purple knee length skirt with designer boots finishing off her appearance.
“R-rarity’s right R-Rainbow Dash.” The fourth woman said in a shy voice. She had light skin with long light pink hair and light blue eyes. She wore green baggy pants along with brown sandals, with a long sleeve yellow turtleneck sweater finishing off her appearance.
“Maybe they’re just here for the party?” the fifth woman suggested, her voice slightly high pitched and squeaky. She had dark skin with pink hair that was both messy and curly at the same time and like Rarity and the shy girl, she had blue eyes. She wore a simple t-shirt that had pictures of cupcakes on the front with a bright pink sweater tied around her waist and had equally pink shorts.
“Twilight, I think we need to get the princesses down here!” A short boy said nervously. He had green eyes and green hair and he wore purple pants with a green T-shirt with a purple jacket over it along with green tennis shoes. The boy looked like he was around fourteen or fifteen years old.
The final woman, who had indigo colored hair with a single pink stripe in it and wore a white long sleeved shirt with a purple vest over it and a purple skirt with knee length boots completely her look, looked at her friends and nodded. “R-right! Let’s go everyone!” she said and they all began to book it towards the castle, pushing past the panicking crowd as they did so.
Once they reached the castle, they all immediately ran towards the throne room to inform the princesses of the situation. But they didn't know things were going to get even worse.
Outside the castle, the airships had landed and once the doors opened, an army that wore black and silver armor while wielding different types of weapons ranging from swords to axes with a few having massive hammers.
But what was more important was a figure standing in front of the army. The figure was definitely a woman based on her body shape. She wore a black leather bodysuit with pieces of armor on her wrist, ankles, and shoulders with a chest plate. She had dark skin with dark purple hair in a mohawk shape with light blue eyes, but what surprised anyone looking at her, was the shattered Crystal that was on her forehead.
She looked around for a moment before looking towards the castle and frowned. “Move, capture the civilians and get rid of the guards while a few of you follow me towards the castle.” she ordered the creatures behind her while walking towards said castle. They immediately obeyed as a huge number of them rushed towards the people who had not ran away yet but immediately started to do so when the creatures charged at them, screaming the whole time while a few of the creatures followed the woman towards the castle only for a large number of armored soldiers charged at the creatures with a loud battle cry.
She raised her right hand before swiftly pointing at the soldiers, causing the airships to open fire on them and sending them flying from the resulting explosions of their cannons missing and hitting the ground, filling the air with screams of pain and cannonfire. While that was happening Twilight and the others had made it to the throne room and burst through the doors.
“Princess Celestia, Princess Luna! We have trouble outside the castle!” Twilight exclaimed and to prove her point, a loud explosion went off outside, rocking the castle a bit.
“We know Twilight, we are currently organizing the Guard to try and repel the invaders. However, we did not expect such an attack and may not be able to fend them off any time soon.” Celestia said with a grim look on her face.
Just then the throne room doors were knocked off their hinges and walked in was the armored woman with the creatures flanking her. She looked around before seeing the princesses and Element Bearers and grinned. “Finally!! Found you~” she said before pulling out a large orb that had a green mist inside it.
Shining Armor immediately stepped in between the woman and his friends and family while drawing his sword. “Who are you and why are you invading Equestria?!” he demanded as he held his sword in front of him.
The armored woman just grins before pulling her arm back before saying. “The name is Tempest Shadow.” she said before throwing the orb fast enough for Shining Armor to be unable to knock it away in time. It then hit the marble floor in front of him covering him in a green mist and making him cough while the others backed away.
“Shining!” Cadence called out to her husband but got no response. The mist then cleared and much to their horror, Shining Armor was turned to stone with him having a wide-eyed expression of shock and horror. “NO!” Cadence cried out, rushing to her husband only for another orb to hit her, making her scream in pain as she too turned to stone.
“Cadence!” Twilight cried out in despair as more orbs were thrown at them only for them to be caught in a golden aura. Tempest Shadow clicks her tongue in annoyance when she sees Celestia’s hand outstretched, her crystal glowing with a golden color and a serious expression on her face.
“You will not turn anyone else to stone Tempest Shadow!” Celestia said before launching the orbs back at her, making Tempest Shadow dodge them.
Tempest frowned before grinning, Celestia was confused before one of Tempest's soldiers jumped through the window behind her catching her off guard for a moment which was all she needed before tossing and orb at her feet with it immediately bursting open and she was slowly turning into stone.
“Twilight!! You and your friends must escape and go to the land of the hippogriffs, they can-” she couldn't finish as she was completely turned to stone just like Shining Armor and Cadence.
“Sister!/Celestia!” both Twilight and Luna shouted in despair before Luna turns to Tempest with a glare and began to fire magic from her hands at both Tempest and her soldiers. “Go Twilight! I will try to keep them busy!”
Twilight hesitates for a moment before she and her friends started running away but not before seeing Tempest jumping over Luna while dropping another orb in front of her and turning her into stone. “STOP THEM!! DON'T LET THEM GET AWAY!!” Tempest shouted while running after the Main Six and Spike.
Loud footsteps were heard as Tempest’s soldiers gave chase to the group, making them run even faster. “They’re gaining on us!” Rainbow Dash shouted as she flew above the group with transparent looking wings on her back.
“We need a plan right now!” Applejack shouted next as Twilight tried to think of a plan to help them escape.
Twilight tried to think of anything to help them before getting an idea. “Everyone get close, I'm going to use a long distance teleportation spell!” she said while the crystal on her forehead started glowing brighter and brighter.
“Is that even safe?!” Spike asked her but they all did get close to her.
“I have no idea!!” Twilight said back just as Tempest threw another orb at them.
There was a bright flash of purple before Tempest saw that where gone leaving an empty castle hall. “GOD DAMN IT!!” She yelled before punching a hole through a wall and glared at her soldiers. “Go and find them now!!! I want that twilight sparkle back here right now!!!” She demanded while walking away.
They nodded nervously and ran out to look for them as Tempest walked back to the airship. After a while, she made it to the airship she arrived in before heading towards her quarters where she picked up a crystal shaped mirror and waited before a shadowy figure appeared in the mirror. “I’m sorry Storm King, one of the princesses Twilight Sparkle and her friends escaped.” she reported to the figure.
The Storm King growls in anger upon hearing that. “Seriously?! How’d you fail to capture her?! I don’t care about her stupid little friends, I needed the princesses! Without all four of them, I can’t harness their power for my own purposes!”
Tempest shook a little in fear as she was a little scared of the Storm King before she steeled her nerves before responding. “I-I have a group of soldiers tracking her down now she couldn’t have gotten far.” she said while trying to calm down the Storm King.
“Not good enough! Have the entire army search for! Search the land! Search the sky! Hell, search the sea if you have to! JUST FIND HER!!” the Storm King bellowed and the force his shout shook Tempest’s room a bit and nearly cracked the crystal. “Fail me again and I’ll remind you what happens to those that dare fail the Storm King. Understand Tempest?”
She nodded before the crystal mirror in her hand went dark and she unconditionally rubbed at the crack crystal on her forehead from when she was just a child.
(Unknown location)
There was a flash of purple light before Twilight and her friends fell to the ground in a pile followed by them groaning in pain. “Next time Twilight, make sure you make the landing more bearable.” Spike said while Fluttershy was sitting on top of him.
“I couldn’t exactly do that as we were trying to escape Spike.” Twilight said back as she pushed Pinkie off of her as she sat up. They all started getting up and looking around before finding themselves inside a dense forest surrounded by trees.
“So, sugarcube, do you know why Celestia told you to go to the hippo’s specifically?” Applejack asked while they walked through the forest, they noticed it was the Everfree Forest which made them be on edge as they knew the dangers lurking inside the forest.
“I don't think she meant hippo's, Applejack.” Twilight said while looking around the forest nervously.
“M-maybe she said something else then?” Spike questioned while clinging onto Twilight as he didn't like being in the Everfree forest.
“Maybe, but we won’t be able to find out here in Equestria. Not while Tempest Shadows forces are lurking around. Which means we might have to find help outside of Equestria.” Twilight said and that made everyone more nervous as they don’t know what could be waiting for them outside of Equestria’s borders but knew they had to do it if they wanted to save their home and everyone they care about.
They walked for hours until it was getting dark outside and decided to set up camp before Applejack and Rainbow dash volunteered to watch out for danger.
While that was happening on the ocean near a small city a group of fishermen were having trouble trying to pull in today's catch. “Lift with your backs, damn it!!” The captain yelled over the loud crashing waves of the ocean.
“We’re trying! But this catch is a lot heavier than usual!” a fisherman shouted back as he pulled on the net.
“That means we got a really big haul this time!” the captain yelled, a hint of glee in his voice.
As three fishermen tried to pull on the net again before there was a violent splash against the boat that caused them to fly into the air while screaming before plunging into the ocean's depth. The crew were shocked and horrified by the turn of events before they could do anything, those same fishermen were violently tossed back onto the boat. “What the hell?!” One of them said before the boat began jerking violently then began to be pulled towards civilization much to all of their shock. While this was happening, none of them saw a figure underneath the water pulling on the chain with glowing golden eyes.

(Third person pov)
It was early morning when the Main Six and Spike began to wake, most of them, if not all of them, were groggy, dirty, and grumpy. They have been traveling for four days and had to scavenge for food and other necessities due to them being far from any form of civilization but it was not easy due to how hostile the forest was. Not the Everfree Forest but another forest they had entered while traveling.
Once they had all eaten whatever berries and stuff they found, after making sure they were safe to eat of course, they continued on with their journey to find the hippo’s or whatever it was Celestia wanted them to find in order to save Equestrai. While walking through an open road, Rarity was complaining about her hair and makeup for the fifth time in a row in that single day.
“Rarity, you’re my friend but please enough with the whole appearance shit.” Rainbow Dash said to her friend, clearly annoyed by Rarity’s complaints about something so unimportant. “It’s driving me nuts!”
“But darling look at my hair!!” Rarity said while pointing at her somewhat messy hair. “It's dirty and going to have split ends in it!” she cried while Rainbow Dash’s eye twitched and she was close to strangling her.
But suddenly Pinkie jumped up and pointed out into the distance where there was a small village just miles away. “Look girls!!”
“A village! No wait, even better! A town!” Applejack said, a smile forming on her face after realizing that the village was really a town if the tall buildings and other structures were any indication. “Heck, it might even be a city!”
“And you know what they say, where’s there’s a town, there’s a spa!” Rarity exclaimed happily while her friends just raised their eyebrows at her. “What? I know we have to save Equestria but I want to at least look fabulous while doing it.” Rarity said while the others sighed and started walking towards the town.
After a few hours of walking they made it to the entrance and saw that the town had a flea market that sold everything from clothes to food to even things that made them hesitant on entering, such as live animals that were bizarre and other things. Twilight even swore she saw Magicrystals that no doubt belonged to people. “U-um, maybe we should g-go somewhere else?” Fluttershy fearfully said, immediately growing afraid after seeing what was being sold in the flea market.
“But we don't know if there's another town or city nearby.” Twilight said while shivering at the site of a few Magicrystals that still had blood on it.
“M-maybe we can just stop here to get some supplies and stuff before hitting the road again. And maybe look for any clues about these ‘hippo-whatevers’ the princess wanted us to find?” Applejack suggested.
They were hesitant for a moment before nodding in agreement and entered the town. They stayed close together while looking both horrified and disgusted at what these people were sailing, Fluttershy even saw a few of them selling dead rabbits and squirrels. “I-I don’t really like t-this place.” Fluttershy said as tears began to form in her eyes after seeing that.
“H-hey, cheer up Fluttershy. We won’t be here for long.” Pinkie said, trying to comfort her friend while placing a hand on her shoulder and giving her a small smile.
Fluttershy was still upset and afraid but did feel somewhat better thanks to Pinkie. “O-ok.”
They then continued to walk through the flea market before coming across two ladies that were selling clothes. As Twilight got closer she instantly noticed that a few people were staring at her and her friends. “U-um, me and my friends would like to purchase some of your wares.”
“Oh? That is great! Go ahead and browse and let us know if anything catches your eye dearies!” one of the ladies said to them.
The girls and Spike looked through the pile of clothes and found what fitted them before going to the next stalls to gather what they needed like shoes, water, food, and camping equipment, “Alright, anything else we need?” Twilight asked while going through a checklist with Spike.
“The only thing we need right now is information about the hippo-whatsits.” Spike said and Twilight frowns a bit.
“Right. Hopefully we might find something here.” Twilight said and Rainbow Dash groans a bit.
“Do we have to stay in this place longer? It’s giving me the creeps.” she said while looking around, seeing the people of the town still staring at them.
Twilight sighed and nods her head. “Unfortunately yes. We will have to if we want to find out what it is Celestia wants us to find if we want to save Equestria.”
“Great.” Rainbow Dash sarcastically said.
“Come on Dash, the sooner we find some clues, the sooner we can skedaddle outta here.” Applejack said as they started to walk off. They start to ask the locals if they have any information about what they were looking for but all they got were odd looks and silence so they kept going and asking another person the same thing. They kept asking around but they only got the same responses and eventually, they all ended up at a bar to rest up, though Rarity was none too pleased about being in such a place.
“Man, this is pointless. We asked nearly everyone we saw yet we’re still nowhere closer to figuring out what Celestia meant.” Spike said followed by an exhausted sigh.
“Yeah, all we got were weird looks and complete silence from everyone.” Applejack added.
“Cheer up guys! I’m sure we’ll find something soon!” Pinkie Pie said, trying to lift her friends spirits up.
“Forget it Pinks. We’re better off just leaving this place before something happens to us or something.” Rainbow Dash said and Fluttershy gulped a bit at that which made the rainbow haired girl quickly add, “Not that anything will of course. I’m just saying we should as a ‘better safe than sorry’ type thing you know?” Fluttershy was quiet and Rainbow Dash sheepishly rubbed the back of her head a bit.
“Let’s change the topic and discuss what we’re going to do now.” Twilight said before Pinkie pipped up.
“Or what if we talk about why it’s so quiet in here now.” that confused Pinkie’s friends before they quickly realized what she was talking about. The music was turned off and the bar occupants looked at Twilight and her friends with various looks of confusion and narrowed eyes.
“M-maybe we should leave. It’s clear we’re not welcomed here.” Rarity suggested and everyone nodded their heads before getting up.
“Y-yes, probably a good idea.” Twilight said in agreement.
Just then the bar doors burst open and the Main Six and Spike were shocked to see a 7ft tall man walking into the bar while carrying three unconscious fishermen and carelessly dropped them onto a table which broke.
The stranger only wore a pair of black pants with no shoes or shirt showing off his muscular figure and shockingly amount of tattoos on his arms, chest, stomach, and shoulders. He walked up to the surprisingly calm bartender and grabbed a large bottle of whiskey before saying in a deep voice. “Those idiots are buying.” he said while pointing at the three fishermen and started walking away.
“Whoa. Who’s that guy?” Spike asked quietly as he and his friends stared at the man.
“Don’t know but I’m guessing someone who does this often if everyone is barely batting an eye at what just happened.” Applejack said back.
The stranger was almost out the door when Pinkie Pie appeared in front of him with a huge smile on her face.”Need something?” he asked while Pinkie Pie’s friends tried and failed to wave her back over.
“Hi there! I’m Pinkie Pie! Ponyville’s resident party planner and friend to everyone! What’s your name?! Where did you come from?! Why’d you bring those people in like that?! Were they hurt?! And what’s with all the tattoos?! Do you like tattoos?!” rambled Pinkie while her friends quickly rushed over and pulled her away from the man.
“S-so sorry about that sir! She just likes meeting new people!” Twilight apologized to the man with a nervous grin on her face.
The stranger stared at them with a raised eyebrow before popping the bottle of whiskey open and taking a large swig from it before speaking. “The names Arthur….. Arthur Striker and where I came from is none of your business.” he said before walking past them and continued taking swigs from the bottle of whiskey with the Main Six and Spike chasing after him.
“U-um, wait! Sir! If y-you don’t mind if we ask if you have any information about something that starts with the word ‘hippo’? You see i-it’s really important that we find what our princess wanted us to find if we want to save our land from invaders.” Twilight asked the man.
“You mean hippogriffs? Yeah I know those fuckers; what about them?” He asked while finishing off the bottle of whiskey and looked at them.
“Hippogriffs! So that’s what, or rather who, Celestia wanted us to find!” Twilight said as she and her friends' expressions immediately brightened, clearly happy that they found a clue or possibly more information about what they were looking for. “Please sir, it’s very important that you tell us any information you have on them! Our land is in danger and our princess sent us out here to find the hippogriffs so they may help us.”
Arthur chuckled before looking at them. “Sorry kid but you won't get any help from those pussies.” he said while walking through the town while the other civilians looked at him with either indifference or gratitude.
“Huh? What do you mean we won’t be able to get any help from them?” Rainbow Dash asked him.
“What I mean is you are better off staying either here or fighting whoever is attacking your city by yourself because those fuckers stopped ‘helping” a long time ago.” he said while they were getting closer and closer to the ocean.
That caused them all to be filled with despair. Their only hope of saving their home don’t want to help? But why? And how does this man know this? “B-but why won’t they help? S-surely they must have a good reason!” Twilight said.
He laughed harder which made Applejack and Rainbow Dash become angry at him. “Look here princess, your little home talks about friendship and harmony but out here.” He gestures around them. “The strong survive and the weak die, that's just how the ‘real’ world works..get used to it,” He finished while stepping into the depth of the ocean before being stopped by Fluttershy.
“W-wait, how do you know where we’re from?” Fluttershy asked him.
Half of Arthur body was deep under water now before looking at her with a smirk. “Everyone knows about the Element Bearers and the new princess of Friendship; but hey by some miracle you were able to convince those cowards into helping you, then I will say I was wrong.” he said before jumping backwards into the ocean.
To the Main Six’s and Spike’s shock, they saw what looked like Arthur blasting off inside the ocean depths before disappearing from their sight.
“What the fuck?! How’d he do that?!” Rainbow Dash exclaimed in shock.
“M-maybe a spell or something?” Twilight said, trying to rationalize what they had just seen.
“Who cares. We need to find them hippogriffs to see if they might help us.” Applejack said, snapping out of her shocked state to worry about the more important issue at hand. “Too bad that Author guy didn’t tell us where they are though.”
“Maybe I can be of some assistance,” They heard a voice and turned to see a male around 5’6 with tan skin wearing brown pants with brown boots and a dull red coat. He has blue hair with green cat-like eyes with a grin on his face showing off his fangs.
“And who are you? And how can you help us?” Spike asked the man.
“My name is Capper my dear boy and I can help because I know exactly where the hippogriffs are.” he said while giving them a slight bow of his head.
“You do?! Where are they?!” Twilight asked Capper, quickly running up to him.
He smirked and gave a flamboyant gesture towards a different direction. “I have a map that shows exactly where they are, all you have to do is follow me.” He said while looking at the group with fake innocence.
“Then what are we waiting for? Let’s go! We need that map now!” Twilight said, beginning to walk forward but Spike stopped her.
“Hold on Twilight, m-maybe we should find out on our own? I don’t exactly trust this guy.” he said to his sister figure.
“Spike we don't have enough time to find the hippogriffs while our home is slowly being taken over, if he has the location of the hippogriffs then we should at least let's hear him out.” Twilight said while the others agreed and started following Capper.
But Spike still had a bad feeling about this, something in his gut told him that this is going to end bad for them.
(Tempest pov)
I had been pacing in my room on the airships for about three hours now. It's been four days since the princess of Friendship and her friends escaped and I was getting more and more worried about not finding them for the Storm King. Just then one of my soldiers ran into my quarters and gave me a salute. “Well?! Don't just stand there you fucking moron did you find them!!” I demanded while glaring at the soldier.
The soldier spoke in a language that was unknown to everyone but me and I frowned. “So they’ve been spotted heading south?” the soldier nodded his head.
I gained an evil grin on my face before I waved him off and grabbed my crystal mirror then contacted The Storm King. “Sir, one of the soldiers told me that they have found the princess of Friendship and her friends going South,” I said while smiling evilly into the mirror.
“I do not care which direction they are going Tempest! I care about you capturing the princess! Call me only when you have her in your grasp!” the Storm King shouted angrily, making me wince a bit. I then see the Storm King pause a bit and a thoughtful look appeared on his face. “Wait a minute. You said they were heading south?”
“S-sir, do you know something or someone there?” I asked nervously before seeing him start to chuckle before full-on laughing.
“Oh this is just perfect! They’re heading right to Kludgetown! Capturing the princess will be much easier now!” the Storm King exclaimed, still laughing. “Head there now and find her. Just tell people that the Storm King sent you.”
I nodded and after he disappeared, I walked out onto the deck of the airship and I started shouting out orders. “Set a course for Kludgetown, we finally have a lead on the princess of Friendship!!” I ordered and grinned.
(Spike pov)
I was following behind Twilight and the others as we were led to Capper’s home while the whole time I was still feeling like something isn't right. “So Capper, how do you know about the hippogriffs?” Rarity asked while walking next to him.
“Oh simple. They used to come around here to do business and such. Mostly just selling things like pearls and stuff they make though.” Capper said as he stepped to the side just as someone dumped a bucket full of dirty water out of their window and onto the street which thankfully, didn’t get on any of us.
I narrowed my eyes at him and felt like he was lying either about the hippogriffs coming here or seeing any of them I couldn't tell. “That's just fabulous darling.” Rarity said while smiling at Capper.
“Maybe. Haven’t seen any of them around here in a long time though. Nobody knows why.” Capper said with a shrug and I can see that he wasn’t all that bothered by the hippogriffs not showing up anymore.
We then arrived at his house and by the looks of it, I instantly noticed that it wasn't normal. It was huge and looked somewhat rundown with all manner of people hanging around it. “Uh Twilight I have a bad feeling about this,” I tried to warn her but she just smiled and rubbed my head.
“I know Spike, I do too but we need to do this, ok?” Twilight said to him, putting on a brave face to mask her worry.
As we walked in I noticed it was dark. “Hey where are the-” I didn't get to finish before seeing a bright flash of pink light before falling to the ground and slowly losing consciousness. The last thing I saw was Capper smiling down on us and with three others behind him.
(Capper pov)
“That was almost too easy.” I hear one of the Verko’s men say with a chuckle, making me roll my eyes.
“Just get ready to haul them off to Verko so my debts can be paid. The sooner they are, the sooner I won't have to deal with that mole anymore.” I say, making them laugh at me. I looked at the unconscious bodies of the six girls and the boy, who I learned was named Spike, before grinning and walking off to contact Verko to let him know that I was able to get him a special gift.

(Arthur pov)
I sat on a bar stool while drinking another cup of Jack Daniel before saying. “Another.” I demanded from the barkeeper before looking around at the nearly empty bar. I thought about those six girls and boy that I had met earlier before scoffing at the memory and muttering under my breath. “Nothing but a bunch of naive people who don't know how the world really works.” I grunted before taking the offered cup of Jack Daniels.
Just then I overheard a conversation a couple rows down across from me. “So Capper is finally going to pay off his little debt to the boss huh?”
“Yeah, I think I overheard the boss saying that what Capper is bringing in is from another land.” the other person said and I immediately frowned as I could guess what they were talking about.
I stood up and walked over to the two with a huge smile. “Hello boys, I heard something about your boss getting something special?” I asked, sounding interested but wanted to know if it's who I thought it was.
“Back off fishman. It doesn’t concern you.” one guy said as they glared at me. “You may be some big shot here in Kludgetown but that don’t mean you get to stick your nose where it don’t belong.”
“Yeah! So go back to your little pond.” the other said.
I only smiled before grabbing one of the guys shoulders and flung him into a wall before looking at the other one who tried to stab me but much to his shock his knife broke on my skin. “Let me ask again.” I started while lifting him up by his collar. “Where. Is. Your. Boss!?” I demanded while without looking, knocking his partner out when he tried to rush me.
“Fuck off fishman! I don’t need to tell you anything!” the man yelled as he struggled in my grip while trying to pry my hand off his shirts collar.
I just rolled my eyes before smashing his head into the table causing him to bleed. “Want to tell me now or would you rather I beat you senseless?” I asked while shaking him a little to focus back on my face.
The guy just groans in pain, feeling a little dizzy after the blow to his head. I then hear yelling before turning only to get punched in the face by the guy’s buddy followed by another hitting me with a wooden chair.
I frowned before tossing the one I was holding through the bar window then grabbed another chair and smashed it against the other guy’s head, breaking it before punching him through the bar wall and into an alleyway.
“Everyone book it!” the third guy shouted before the rest of them started to run.
I was able to grab one of them by the leg and lifted him up before saying. “Either you tell me what I want to know or I feed you to the sharks as a midday snack.” I warned while glaring at him.
“O-ok! Ok! I’ll talk!” the guy shouted, no doubt fearing for his life. “Verko was recently told by a man named C-Capper, who has a debt to Verko, that he got him a group of foreigners! Six girls one boy! T-that’s all I know!”
“....thanks,” I said before slamming him into a wall; knocking him out before walking away.
(Twilight POV)
I slowly woke up a groan before hissing in pain due to a splitting headache. I tried to reach up with my hand to rub my aching head only for something to stop it, making me go wide eyed in shock and looked down and immediately realized two things. One, I was currently chained to a wall and second, my Magicrystal was being covered up! “What the?!” I tried to struggle against the chains but it was no use! No matter how hard I struggled, the chains were firmly clamped around my wrists and legs. “What’s going on!? Where am I?!”
“T-Twilight? Is that you?” I heard Spike call out and looked around for him.
I looked over and saw Spike, Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Applejack and Rainbow Dash all chained to the wall as well. “What's going on?! Where are we?” I asked them while seeing Rainbow Dash trying to break free from her restraints.
“I’ll tell you what’s going on! That Capper bastard tricked us and got us locked up!” Rainbow Dash yelled angrily as she pulled against her restraints as hard as she could but nothing happened, angering her even more.
Fluttershy was crying and Rarity was beyond shocked at the situation. “B-but he seemed so nice.” Pinkie said while her hair was getting dull and flat, a clear indication that she was growing upset.
“That may be but he was also pretty shady as well. Can’t believe we fell for his little trick.” Applejack said, glaring down at the ground.
“To be fair, I didn't think it would work, miss Twilight Sparkle.” A familiar voice said and we turned to see Capper standing there with a grin on his face.
“You! Why you no good, dirty, lying, backstabbing piece of shit!” yelled Rainbow Dash and if it weren’t for the chains, she would have charged at the man and kick his ass.
Capper laughed before getting closer to the bars. “You girls must be wondering why I got you plocked up?” He asked while having a feral grin.
“Pretty sure we can take a good guess ya no good varmint.” Applejack said with a glare.
He grinned before leaning on one of the cell bars. “Well I have a good friend named Verko that I owe a lot of money to and as you can see.” he started while pulling out his pocket and showed they were empty. “I don't have the money, so I thought that the next best thing I can give him are the Elements of Harmony with a bonus princess that should clear my debt and then some.” He finished while chuckling.
“B-but doing this will make you the most wanted man in Equestria! Not only that, you could be starting a war for doing this!” Twilight said, trying to reason with Capper.
Much to my surprise and both Applejack and Rainbow Dash's anger, he started laughing at us before smirking. “I guess that fish freak was right…you six don’t know how the world really works..do you?” He said while grinning at me and my friends. “You think your princesses have the power to make people like us do want she wants….HAHAHAHAHAH! That's fucking rich!” He said while continuing to laugh at us as he left.
“You fucking bastard! When I get my hands on you, you’re dead!” Rainbow Dash yelled at the leaving Capper, her voice filled to the brim with rage and hate.
I looked down, disappointed in myself on how I didn't see any of this coming.
(Third person pov)
Capper stepped out of the prison room and looked at his four hired muscles. “Make sure they don't escape. I want them in one piece so I can deliver them to Verko.” he ordered while going into his office.
“We know how to guard things punk.” one of the goons said and Capper rolls his eyes.
As they played cards near the prison room they heard a loud knock on the door. “Hello I got a delivery for Jack.” The stranger said in a deep voice, one of the guards stood up and looked through the peephole only for someone’s fist to punch right through the door and made it fly off the hinges and caused the first guard to be crushed underneath the door. “I have a delivery for a Jackass~.” Arthur said while smirking at the other three guards.
The three of them immediately pulled out crossbows that were loaded with steel bolts before firing them at Author. “Die motherfucker!”
They watched in shock and horror as their steel bolts bounced right off his chest and stomach before he just chuckled. “Guys like you don't learn.” Arthur said before rushing towards one and shoulder tackle him through a wall before grabbing the other one and choke-slamming him through the table.
The final guy pulls out a bottle and tosses it at Author, causing to shatter upon impacting his body and releasing a strange liquid that began to sizzle and burn his flesh, making him shout in pain as he tries to get the acid off of him.
“Fuck!!” Arthur yelled in pain before sucker punching the third guy hard enough to send him flying through the prison wall. He looked around for a moment before finding a mug of water and poured it on the acid burn, sighing in relief as the acid was washed away.
After a moment he walked towards the prison room and found the Elements and Spike along with a heavily bleeding knocked out guard. “I guess you guys don't learn quickly, huh?” He asked while with a bit of effort rip the cell door off and tossed it out of the way.
“What? What are you doing here?” Rarity asked him as they were all surprised to see him.
“And why are you helping us?” Twilight asked next.
Arthur was quiet for a moment before sighing. “Maybe I want to help you guys because you remind me of someone who had the same ideas about friendship.” he finally answered while freeing them from their restraints.
“Sure. Bet this is a trick and you’re trying to trap us as well or worse.” Rainbow Dash said as she rubbed her wrists which were sore from her trying to break out of the chains.
“Believe what you want, I at least am brutally honest with you about my intentions.” Arthur said while helping Twilight off the ground. “I also know that if you really need help in saving your home you're going to need someone who knows how things go out here.” he finished while walking out of the prison room and towards Capper office before kicking it down. “Get out here you damn street rat!!” Arthur growled while looking at a shaking Capper.
“W-what are you doing here!?” Capper demanded, trying his best to hide the fear in his voice. “This doesn’t c-concern you fishman!”
Arthur answered by smacking him into a wall before violently grabbing his collar and smashing him against walls, tables and a few wooden crates before pulling him up. “Want to keep living street rat?”
Capper just groans in pain while the Main Six and Spike stared in shock at such a brutal scene. “H-hey, I think he’s had enough s-sir.” Spike said to Author.
“Spike, listen closely, guys like this don't deserve mercy.” Arthur said before looking Capper straight in the eyes. “Now I heard that you tried to sell them to some rat bastard, right?” He questions Capper while holding him up in the air.
“V-Verko…yes…” Capper weakly said, figuring it would be better to just talk than risk getting even more beat up.
Arthur frowned at that. “You mean you owe money to that guy!?” Arthur growled while tightening his grip.
Capper shakily nodded his head. “Y-yes I did. A-and if I didn’t pay soon h-he would have my head!”
“.......Too bad,” Arthur simply said before headbutt him knocking him out cold before dropping him onto the ground. “Alright let's go.” he said while walking past Capper office and noticed a map before taking it.
“B-but what about C-Capper? Sure he tried to sell us but i-if what he says is true, then we shouldn’t leave him to die.” Spike said, looking at Capper.
“Spike, like I said before you and those six don't know how the world really works,” Arthur said while looking down at him. “People around here don't care about each other, like I said the strong survive and the weak die and not only that at that very moment he was willing to sell you and your friends just to save his own ass.” he finished while walking out of the room.
“Would you stop saying that! I don’t care how the world works! I don’t care if the ‘strong survive and the weak die’! It’s wrong to just leave him like this to die at the hands of someone who’s probably way worse!” Spike shouted angrily.
“THEN YOU HELP THAT SORRY EXCUSE OF A HUMAN TRASH, BECAUSE I ONLY CAME HERE TO HELP YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS, BOY!!” Arthur roared into Spike’s face, causing him to fall backwards onto the ground.
“How about you back off buddy!” Rainbow Dash said as she and Applejack got in between him and Spike, both glaring at him.
Arthur grunted before tossing the map to twilight and walking away. “As I thought, every single one of those people in Equestria is nothing but a bunch of dumbasses.” He growled while Twilight and Fluttershy ran after him.
Arthur turned towards them with a heated glare. “If you want to save that jackass who almost sold you guys as slaves to some Fat rat bastard, that's your problem but I didn't come here and stick my neck out just for an idiotic little brother to play some kind of hero card.”
“L-look, I appreciate you helping us but do n-not speak to my brother like that again.” Twilight said, eyes narrowing a bit before shaking her head. “But besides that, look, we get it, we don’t know anything about how this area of the world works but…” she pauses and then sighs. “We could use your help still. You are the only one here who was willing to help us without wanting anything in return and you know this place better than any of us.”
Arthur looked at her before sighing in annoyance before much to Fluttershy and Twilight surprise he had a genuine smile on his face. “Damn it you remind me too much of her……fine I'll play nice.” he said while walking back towards the group while Fluttershy whispered to Twilight about Arthur.
“A-are you sure about this?” Fluttershy asked her.
“Not really, but we could really use the help but don’t worry, if he tries anything, I’ll be prepared.” Twilight whispered back.
“Alright let's get some things straight.” Arthur started getting their attention. “From this moment on when I tell you to do something, do it because trust me…there are somethings that won't hesitate to kill you, next stay close to each other; there's some people who could easily trick you into doing something. And lastly do not try to befriend anyone along the way.” he finished while crossing his arms and looking at them.
“We understand though we didn’t really try and befriend anyone here as we were focused on trying to find the hippogriffs.” Twilight said.
Arthur nodded and turned. “Twilight you're in front with me, Applejack and Rainbow dash on our rear and Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie and Spike in the middle. We are going to the hippogriff's homeland.” he said before he started walking with twilight next to him.
(Tempest pov)
We just arrived at the location and started looking around the area to search for the Princess of Friendship and her friends. “Search the area. Question everyone. Leave no stone unturned.” I ordered them and my soldiers set off to do what I ordered, questioning the people of Kludgetown about what they know while also searching various places. The people were tight lipped at first but that was until we started using money to get information out of them and they were more than happy to tell us everything.
After learning that the princess and her friends were taken by a man named Capper, we set off to his location to get the princess or interrogate him should he not have them.
It only took a few minutes before arriving at the place and immediately noticed that whoever did this was strong as I saw unconscious bodyguards before noticing an unconscious man that fit Cappers description and I pointed at him while looking back at my soldiers. “Take him back to the ship for questioning, I want answers.” I ordered while looking down and saw a tiny puddle of blood on the ground.
I just scoffed before I turned back and started walking back to the airship, knowing I wouldn’t get answers from searching the building. ’I doubt those seven did this. Someone helped them. And they’re strong which means we need to be careful should we run into them.’ I thought as I walked while clenching my fist in rage.
An hour later, me, a couple of soldiers and Capper, who was tied to a chair, stood in the brig of the airship, getting ready to question him. I then grabbed a bucket of ice cold water and tossed it onto Capper, waking him up with a startled gasp. “Wake up filth, I have a couple of questions for you to answer.” I said while grabbing a chair and sat down in front of him.
“What?! Huh?! Where am I?!” Capper asked, rapidly looking from side to side and tried to move but quickly discovered he was bound to the chair. “What’s going on?!”
I glared at him with cold eyes before waving over one of the soldiers to bring over something. And I watched all the color drained from his face when he saw the different types of torturing tools. “Now it depends on how good you are at cooperating, otherwise.” I started before grabbing a pair of pliers and had a soldier hold down his right arm while I gripped his hand. “Well see how many fingers you will lose before you start talking…am I understood?” I finished while giving him an evil smile.
Capper gulps before quickly nodding his head. “I-I’ll talk! I’ll tell you anything you want!”
“Now first question: Where is the princess of Friendship?” I asked while placing the pliers on his ring finger.
“T-they’re searching for the h-hippogriffs! That’s all I know! They were looking for the hippogriffs to save their little land!” Capper shouted, his breathing quickening a bit as he stared at the pliers on his finger in fear.
“And who's with them?” I press while making the pliers squeeze a little harder onto his finger.
Capper winces a bit in pain before responding, “A-Arthur! He’s someone you d-do not want to fight head on! H-he’s like this fish man or something! I don’t know! All I-I know is is that he can breathe underwater and stuff and is practically immune to everything or at least h-has strong skin! B-blades and stuff don’t work on h-him!”
“Hmmmmm.” I thought for a moment before nodding and removing the pliers away from his finger. “Thank you. Set a course for hippogriffs land…. and get rid of the rat.” I said while walking away.
I didn’t see it, but I knew my men nodded before hearing footsteps approaching Capper who began to panic. “W-wait, what are you going to do me?” he asked them but got no response.
I left the interrogation and went outside onto the deck and looked at the evening sky. ’Soon I will get what I was promised and make everyone regret ever crossing me again~’ I thought before smiling evilly.
