All That We Have Left Behind (UnEdited)
From all over Equestria, from Cloudsdale to Canterlot, from Baltimare to Colterado, peace and harmony was maintained completely. Especially because today was the big day. Twilight Sparkle’s mind was drowned into her dreams. Wispy, unruly strands of her violet mane were flung about in many directions, each hair elongating on her head and grasping out apprehensively towards the wooden ceiling of her treehouse. Faint black lines rimmed the soles of her eyelashes, revealing her constant drudgery that had been working relentlessly from night to night for the past week. Long, heavy exhales of air blew through her nostrils heavily. Her eyes fluttered open. The burden of her heavy eyelashes was withstood, and with one brawny push the cross that her eyes bore temporarily was shoved off of her eyes. Her eyesight was fuzzy, and she could feel the outcome of all of the blood cells rushing to her head at once. Her vision went blank for a mere second, but soon it cleared up as the corollary was starting to wear off.
Twilight sighed. “Finally some rest before… PRINCESS CELESTIA’S BIRTHDAY!”
She gasped.
“NONONONONONONONONONO! What time is it?”
Her head swerved to the left as she glared out the window towards the Ponyville Church Bell.
“8:50!?”
In a fit of complete impulse, her whole body shot up off the bed. The sheets and cover which had been sheathing her all night long were flung off of her rapidly. The fibers of her comforter clung onto her face but were soon repelled away from her as Twilight shoved herself out of bed.
Making a beeline towards her mahogany vanity, Twilight wrenched out her hairbrush from one of the drawers, hastily running it through her mane.
“SPIKE! SPIIIIKE! “
“Mommy… is it breakfast already?”
“Spike! There’s no time to lose! We’ve got to get to Canterlot before-”
She was interrupted by the sound of Celestia’s, kind, eloquent words echoing loudly all across Equestria. Twilight’s eyes grey immense and fearul as her pupils grew dilated. Twilight’s heart began to pound loudly throughout her ears, cleaving away at her eardrums in blatant intimidation. In haste, Twilight grabbed Spike and teleported to Canterlot.
“Greetings, fellow mares and gentlecolts. We are here to celebrate today, the birthday of our princess. The one who maintains love, hope, and diaphanous harmony for all of Equestria. It is my great honor to proudly present, the one and only, CELESTIA!”
Twilight grinned in giddy anticipation along with her friends. Rarity was crying delightful tears of mirth, the blue liquid flowing down her marshmallow cheeks. They all leaned in eagerly, ready to cheer when their Princess appeared. The curtains flew open, fireworks gliding into the sky, sparks flying-
BOOM.
The audience gasped as a booming explosion ruptured out from behind the stage. Blinding white sparks flew in every direction as the stage tore sadistically into pieces.
The world seemed to shake in a state of bedlam. The whole world tuned a color of yellow-ish white as The grand firework explosion went turned into anarchy. Banshee-like wails rung through Twilight’s eardrums as slabs of burnt wood went plummeting down all around them. The group of friends ducked down as they were surrounded by screaming ponies and fibers of wood. The explosion began to come to a halt and fade away. They opened their eyes to find that the stage was simply washed off the planet. The explosion only lasted about two seconds but was then over.
Everypony began to walk towards the stage when-
The audience gasped at the horror onstage. Princess Celestia crashed down from above and landed on the stage, unconscious, a stream of blood flowing down her cheek.
