It is the year 1038. The Griffonian Empire and Griffonian Republic have been at war since 1020, and between them over thirty million lives have been lost. As the Republic advances on Griffenheim, the Imperial capital, the Empire prepares a last desperate stand to attempt to bring about peace at last.

Don't write much, but having recently learned that the EaW team hosts a writing contest, I didn't want to miss it. Dialogue is not necessarily necessary to advance a story.
