Rebecca's Linked Heart

It has been a year since the Canterlot High School Fall Formal Incident in 2013, and young Rebecca Shoichet, had discovered the whole incident while recording it and uploaded the whole video on YouTube, had a problem, she still can't think why she was linked to that girl, Sunset Shimmer, and Princess Twilight Sparkle.

"Man. I can't believe it. Ever since I saw her face crying when I looked at that huge crater and her hiding at destroyed entrance to that school when she transformed into that demon girl by destroying the main entrance through telepathy with her fist through the crown, it feels like, I was connected to that girl, and that other girl." Rebecca said. "But, why, exactly? It feels like she's a part of my heart from my old past, alongside the other girl, who is a princess from an another world called "Equestria" and that crown which is also from that same world, it's like magical, and it only obeys the user. Why, to be exact? I don't even have powers just like her, and I don't even transform into that demon girl, from the Fall Formal incident, although she had a similar past like me." She said, curious.

"I wonder..." Rebecca said.

Flashback to 11 years ago... (The Heart of Princess Twilight Sparkle & Sunset Shimmer)

A much younger Rebecca Shoichet was at home planning on going to the library for a research project, until she felt something was off. But she didn't mind and went to the living room and told them that she was going to the library for her project.

"Hey, I'm going to the library, for my project! I'll see you later!" Said Rebecca as she was about to leave the house. Rebecca's father, heard this, and decides to drive her to the library as she knew something was special with Rebecca. He said, "Oh, yeah... wait, Rebecca, I'll drive you there." "Oh, no, I'll walk there." Rebecca said as she denied her dad's request. "No, no, no. I need some exercise. Go on, go on." Her father said, as he gives his wife the "OK" finger symbol to his wife.

A few moments later, Rebecca and her father have arrived at the Canterlot City Library.

"Thanks for the ride, Dad." Rebecca said, as she was about to leave the car.

"Now, wait a minute, Rebecca. We, need to talk." Her father said as she stopped her from exiting the car.

"We can talk later." Rebecca said.

"Well, we can talk now, if you let me speak." Her father said. Come on, just a little father and daughter time?" he asked.

"Why do we have to talk about this? Why now?" Rebecca asked.

"Well, we haven't talked at all for some time, your mom and I, including your siblings, and your cousins don't even know who you are anymore, you play your own music and write your own songs with your guitar, you focus on your studies in your room for an upcoming test, getting good grades, you start baking amazing sweets at that school bake sale, you start focusing on acting, and suddenly, you start thinking about yourself..." he said.

"I did it just to help out the class and the whole school, Dad, including pursuing a career. I told you that." Rebecca said.

"But you sure did, just to make us proud." Her father said.

"Yeah. But what am I supposed to to do? Stop doing those things?" Rebecca asked

"No, no, no. you're not supposed to stop doing those things, but, look, Reb, you're changing. I know, Your mother and I went through exactly the same thing at your age.

"Uh, no. Not exactly..." Rebecca said reluctantly.

"Rebecca, listen. These are the years when a woman who's about to become the woman she's about to become for the rest of her life, and will show everyone who she truly is in her heart, and to find the person who's heart is linked to yours. Just be careful who you turn into and use your emotions to find the personification of yourself." Her father said. "This girl, Rachel Hawke, She probably deserved what happened at school earlier. But just because you can stand up to her, and beat her at the CHS Fall Formal, doesn't give you the right to." He continued. "Remember, with great power come a great responsibility. Also, whenever that reminds you from your past, there's a person that is sometimes linked from your heart, always find the perfect link from a part of your heart, and show them, how you care for that person, inside your heart, because someday in the future, you are gonna show everyone who you really are, you'll show them what's in your heart." He said.

"Are you scared that I might turn into some different person?" Quit worrying about me, okay? Something's different. I'll figure it out. Stop lecturing, please. Rebecca said.

"I don't mean to lecture and I don't mean to preach. And I know I'm not your grandfather..." her father said.

"Then, stop pretending to be!" Said Rebecca.

Realizing what Rebecca meant, Her father decides to get her off of the car and said,
"All right. I'll pick you up at 10 pm."

Soon, Rebecca got off of the car and she went off to go to the library. But before she could go, she clenched her chest from her heart, and thought about that conversation, realizing what her father said. She knew what her father told her, and knew what was happening sometime soon.

"Thanks, Dad." Rebecca said to herself.

Back in the present day, the Rebecca remembered what her father said, and realized why her heart was linked to Sunset & Twilight.

"Sunset reminds me of me from my old high school years, who thinks only of herself through megalomania, but has a changed heart, and Princess Twilight, she reminds me of my high school years who inspired others to stand with other people." Rebecca said as she sheds a tear. "Each girl makes up a part of who I am in my past years from my childhood and in my high school years, they're like a part of me inside my heart. Sooner or later, these 2 girls will find a balance, within my heart."

Rebecca thought of this, knowing that she might meet Sunset Shimmer and Princess Twilight soon, until she might unknowingly meet them in an upcoming event in Canterlot High School.
