Chapter 1: Follow the Mark
On a stormy night in Maretime Bay, the Mane Six and Sparky were at the Crystal Brighthouse having a slumber party. They were doing makeovers, eating snacks and playing games. Even how the magic in the Brighthouse was entertaining them.
“Isn’t this so much fun,” Sunny asked. “Having slumber parties more often?”
“Mostly on the weekends,” Hitch replied. “I never thought you would invite me. Usually, I think this is for girls only.”
“Maybe,” Pipp said. “Sure, we may do makeovers. But that doesn't mean boys can’t be with us either.”
“We have no rules for that if you’re wondering,” Zipp teased.
Hitch gave out a little laugh and said, “Always getting rule jokes.”
There was a loud thunder that made Brighthouse shake a little and the ponies yelped in fear. Even Sparky gets scared as Hitch comforts him.
“Do you think we should skip the scary stories when the storm is over,” Misty asked.
“But we can make it part of our stories,” Izzy replied and lit a flashlight to make a scary face. “And make them scarier.” Lightning flashes from behind her for a scary effect.
“Speaking of storms,” Sunny said. “Hitch and I have this storybook we made when we were foals.”
“Oh, boy,” Hitch comments in disbelief.
“You two made a storybook together,” Zipp asked. “That’s cute.”
“Well,” Hitch explains. “Not exactly our story. Her dad told us the story and we just drew the book together with our imagination.”
Sunny takes out their book and shows it to their friends. It looks dusty and almost worn out after years in storage. The cover had drawings of two familiar Alicorns with mysterious sea creatures.
“Legend of the Royalty Spirit ,” Zipp read the title. “Is that the name of some kind of ship?”
“A ghost ship,” Pipp asked in a spooky voice.
“Not quite spooky,” Hitch replied. “But it is falling apart a little.”
Some pages start to fall out. Dust was getting into Sparky’s nose, causing him to sneeze. That also made him send out his fire breath. However, his transformation magic turned the book into a newer hard cover book.
“Well, that fixes your problem,” Izzy commented.
“Thanks for that, Sparky,” Sunny said. “Now we can read it better.”
As Sunny read her book, there were pictures of ancient Equestria. That was when Princess Twilight Sparkle was the new ruler.
“Back in the days of Twilight Sparkle, she and the Guardians of Harmony were celebrating the Festival of the Two Sisters. The new holiday that replaces the Summer Sun Celebration. When the retired princesses, Celestia and Luna, came to be honored, the ponies built a special gift for them. They named it the Royalty Spirit .”
As shown on the pictures, the Royalty Spirit was a flying mobile home with alicorn wings. Similar to the Mare Stream, it was a houseboat with a special effect of day and night. During the day, it has Celestia’s color pattern and changes to Luna’s colors at night.
“The sisters’ new home away from home. So, they could use it for traveling on their vacations and visit more. However, on the same night, they were flying it back to Silver Shores when a storm hit.”
A large waterspout was shown over the coast of Silver Shores with the sisters’ airship getting sucked in.
“It would seem they were lost forever in a waterspout. But some ponies who witnessed the disaster saw them being rescued by magical sea creatures. Believe them being known as Nessies”
The Royalty Spirit was being carried safely by the Nessies. They were sea creatures who can fly and breathe in both water and air.
“They say they have special necklaces that protect them from prying eyes, rendering them invisible to all. Their home is a secret world under the seafloor and the entrance would be hidden on a nearby island. After rescuing the Alicorns, the Nessies invited them to live with them as long as they would protect their secret. The two sisters happily agreed as they were still able to visit their friends.”
The next page showed what was left of Silver Shores as it became an abandoned town.
“But when years passed and everything was forgotten, they claim that Silver Shores was reconstructed and became Maretime Bay. However, there were some ponies like my dad who still believe in these legends. They say when the moon shines after a storm, they’ve seen the secret island and the Royalty Spirit flying away but disappears soon after like it was a ghost ship.”
As Sunny finishes her story, the other ponies find it interesting as Zipp comments, “Cool story. The last part sounded mysterious.”
“Not really spooky at all,” Pipp added. “But how nice they had a home away from home like ours.”
“Have you believed in this, Hitch,” Misty asked.
“Kind of,” Hitch replied. “Even though we made this book together, I may have stopped believing when it mentioned a haunted lighthouse.”
“Getting spooky now,” Pipp comments.
“It’s before I was born,” Sunny said. “My dad told us when he and Mom renovated the lighthouse, they believed the Alicorn sisters used to live here. Had a secret entrance of their own to the Nessie world and turned themselves into seaponies.”
“Just like Misty’s spell,” Izzy mentioned. “That turns us into seaponies when we go into the ocean.”
“Exactly,” Sunny replied. “How Dad thought he was seeing them as ghosts, they were in the forms of their cutie marks, playing flute music.”
Suddenly, they start to hear a flute playing as the storm was clearing up. The ponies were getting concerned but Zipp was getting curious.
“Sounds like a mystery is starting to happen,” she said.
“You sure this is not you’re doing, Sunny,” Hitch asked. “Not any tape recorder to scare us.”
“Definitely not,” Sunny answered. “Next thing you know you’ll think the Brighthouse is causing this.”
“And I’ll believe it when I see it,” Hitch added.
“Well get ready to believe,” Zipp said as she pointed to something behind them.
They all saw what’s making that music and were all surprised. It was the cutie mark of Princess Celestia.
“Oh, my stars,” Sunny comments.
The cutie mark floats away to the basement as the Mane Six starts to follow. Unknown to them, the moon shines over the sea and reveals a hidden island in the distance. Suddenly, a mysterious invisible force starts to move the Mare Stream into the water.
In the basement, the ponies and Sparky spies on the cutie mark as it passes through the wall. This leaves them shocked.
“That almost looks like a ghost to me,” Misty said.
“It can’t be,” Zipp replied. “It has to be some kind of trick.”
“Or a new kind of brick,” Izzy added.
“Trick or brick,” Sunny said. “Let’s check it out.”
As they examine the wall, Zipp uses her Z-Goggles to scan and feel around for a hidden switch.
“If we rebuild the Brighthouse,” Hitch said. “We would’ve known there was something hidden.”
“Right,” Zipp replied. “There must be a secret panel or some kind of virtual reality gizmo. Probably push a hidden button and--” She pressed on the wall but suddenly her hoof went through it. “It's a secret passageway.”
“Sounds like your story’s might be true, Sunny,” Pipp said. “But there’s a wall here.”
“It’s a trick,” Zipp explains. “I’ll show you.”
She pushes through the secret entrance until she disappears to the other side. She sticks her head back out to her friends.
“Zipp,” Sunny exclaimed.
“Relax,” Zipp assured. “Come on in, it’s cool.”
As Zipp goes back in, the rest of the ponies follow through the wall. They meet up on the other side in a secret room.
“Amazing,” Izzy said.
“What’s happening,” Misty asked. “I don’t get it.”
“Look,” Zipp pointed.
They look up and see something shining. Two large gems in the shape of Celestia and Luna’s cutie marks. They were above a secret tunnel.
“Magic gems,” Pipp exclaims.
“I don’t know if it is magic, Pipp,” Zipp explains. “Might be a mirror effect.”
“Just a trick to hide this tunnel,” Hitch added.
They start to hear the flute music coming from the tunnel.
“It’s the ghost again,” Misty said.
“I’m gonna find this ‘ghost’ who’s playing that flute,” Zipp said as she flew through the tunnel.
Pipp flies after her while the others run on foot. “Wait, Zipp,” she said. “Wait for-”
Suddenly, the four non-flying ponies and Sparky didn’t notice a slide and fell down it. Pipp and Zipp circle back and slide after them.
As the Mane Six and Sparky ride the secret slide, it leads them into an underground cave. They land into water at the bottom. Thanks to Misty’s spell, they immediately transformed into seaponies. Sparky playfully splashes a Hitch until Sunny covers his mouth to keep quiet. They see the floating cutie mark hovering over what looks like pink boulders. It stops playing its music.
“Oh, I like it,” said a voice. “You just need to practice that last note, Celestia.”
The cutie mark starts to manifest into the thought-to-be-extinct Alicorn, Princess Celestia. The hidden Mane Six gasped in shock to see a pony from the ancient past. Celestia looked a lot younger and was a flying seapony that can breathe in air.
“It needs a wee bit more fine-tuning,” Celestia said.
“Who’s that,” Misty asked.
“It’s our ghost,” Izzy replied.
“Princess Celestia herself,” Sunny said in awe.
“And she’s a flying seapony,” Pipp added. “Maybe a different spell than ours.”
“But who is she talking to,” Hitch asked. “I don’t see anypony.”
“Come on,” Zipp said. “We’re getting to the bottom of this.”
They swam over to another set of red and green boulders and climbed on top.
“Well, my friend,” Celestia said. “We must be getting a move on.”
The pink boulders began to move on their own. Suddenly, the green boulders the Mane Six were on began to move to and follow behind.
“Boulders are moving,” Izzy comments.
“I don’t like the look of this,” Misty said.
“We must be on some kind of…” Hitch was saying.
“MONSTER,” they all said together.
“Quiet,” Sunny shushed. “If we just stay still and quiet, it’ll probably won’t know we’re here.”
They all nod in agreement as they ride their moving boulders through the cave following Celestia’s.

MLP G5: Adventures in Happy Land “There’s A World of Nessies”
Chapter 2: Welcome to Happy Land
The Mane Six continued to ride their moving boulders following Celestia. They were amazing to see that were in a secret subterranean paradise they’ve never seen before. They noticed over them was a city hanging from the ceiling of the cave. The two sets of boulders stop at a theater by the shore.
“Look,” Sunny pointed.
The pink boulders Celestia is riding revealed to be a head, body and tail. It was really a large female pink sea creature with magenta hair and dorsal fin. She is known as Happy Ness, the Queen Nessie. The Mane Six gasped in surprise at what they witnessed.
“We’re here,” Happy Ness called.
“It’s the creature from the story,” Sunny said. “A Nessie.”
“And not just one,” Hitch pointed.
Two more Nessies came out of the theater. Prompt Ness, an orange female Nessie with blue hair and pink dorsal fin. Loud Ness, a red male Nessie with seashell earmuffs.
“You’re… you’re late, Celestia,” Prompt Ness said nervously. “You’re very, very, very, very late.”
“Good afternoon, Prompt Ness,” Celestia greeted. “Good to see you, Loud Ness.”
Hence their names, the Nessies are named for various emotions and other traits. For Prompt Ness, she has the quality of doing something quickly and without delay, or at the arranged time.
“No, no time for greeting,” she said. “You’re late. Places. Places everyone.”
As the Mane Six spies on them, they feel their manes being blown back by Loud Ness. He shouts as he talks.
“PROMPT NESS IS RIGHT,” he shouted.
“No need to shout, Loud Ness,” Happy Ness said.
“I DIDN’T SHOUT, HAPPY NESS,” Loud Ness said. “I’M NOT SHOUTING!”
This causes Celestia’s hat to get blown away. Suddenly, the other boulders send the ponies flying into the air, revealing to be a male green Nessie wearing a jester hat. This was Silly Ness, who didn’t even notice the ponies riding on him and Celestia’s hat flew into his eye, blinging him.
“For Loud Ness,” he said laughing. “That’s a stage whisper.”
Falling in the water, the Mane Six hides behind bulrushes. A purple female Nessie with pink hair and dorsal fin, Kind Ness, comes out.
“Hurry, Celestia,” she said. “Rehearsal’s about to start.”
“Don’t hold the curtain for me,” Celestia replied.
“Everyone, be calm,” Happy Ness reassured and Silly Ness was swimming blind behind. “It’s just opening night jitters. This is going to be one of the happiest days ever.”
“Happy Ness is right again,” Celestia comments “It’s going to be wonderful.”
She notices her hat missing and retrieves it from Silly Ness, making him see again.
“That silly music,” he said. “Makes me wanna do a silly nilly dance! Ha, ha, ha!”
“No time for dancing, Silly Ness,” Prompt Ness said. “We’re late!”
“I can’t help it,” Silly Ness said in a singing voice. “I have to be silly!”
He does a silly dance hopping and splashes over the water. With the Mane Six watching, few of them couldn’t hold their laughter at the funny Nessie.
“I can’t believe it,” Sunny comments. “My dad’s story is really true.”
“Yeah,” Pipp replied. “I guess there’s a whole world of Nessies down here.”
“And they’re named for emotions and other traits to describe themselves,” Zipp thought.
“I wonder if they’re all so happy,” Misty said.
“Or kind,” Hitch added.
“Or silly,” Izzy added.
“Or loud,” they all said together and laughed about it.
In a dark and misty part of the Nessie world known as Gloom Lagoon, there was a dark castle shaped as an evil Nessie. This is where bad Nessies live, ruled by Pompous Ness. She was light gray with purple hair and wore a crown.
“I hate those goody goody Nessies,” She addresses two of her servants. “The nerve of them. Not to offer me, Pompous Ness. A born star, the leading role of their stupid show.”
The black male Nessie with green hair is known as Dark Ness. He said, “May I Be so bold as to suggest we pull the plug on their little show before it even opens.”
“Good Idea, Dark Ness,” Mean Ness comments. She’s the dark turquoise female Nessie with green hair. “Let’s do something really mean.”
“Really dark,” Dark Ness added.
“Really wonderful,” Pompous Ness said.
“Huh,” Mean and Dark Ness asked.
“Wonderfully wicked that is,” she explains and the two nod in agreement. “If my star won’t shine, no one’s will. Find their star and bring her to me.”
Just then, two more bad Nessies came in. Devious Ness, a dark blue male Nessie with a blue hooded cape. Sneaky Ness, a red male Nessie with salmon colored hair.
“Where have you two been,” Pompous Ness asked.
“We thought we tried something devious,” Devious Ness explains. “Like stealing from ponies for our own vessel like Celestia’s flying ship.”
“Ponies,” Pompous Ness asked. “Have you been sneaking around that rainbow lighthouse on the surface?”
“Celestia and Luna sneak around pretending to be ghosts,” Sneaky Ness said. “Why couldn't we do so too?”
“Because we don’t need anything from those foolish land creatures,” Pompous Ness replied. “Playing around with their silly magic spells, singing to their ridiculous music and if I planned on stealing from them, it would be the Royalty Spirit . Not some useless flying scrap metal that’s not seaworthy and too small. What did you do with that thing?”
“Brave Ness took it,” Devious Ness said. “I’m sure the ponies don’t even know it’s gone.”
“Unless they followed Celestia’s ‘ghost’ down to Happy Land,” Pompous Ness theorized.
Back in Happy Land, the Mane Six sneak into the theater. They hear Celestia announcing to the Nessies.
“Alright, Nessies,” she said. “From the top. And a one and a two and a…”
In the dance room, Celestia rehearses playing her flute while Silly Ness and three other Nessie practice a dance routine. Happy Ness watches from a balcony with others. As the four dancing Nessies performed, the turquoise male Nessie with orange hair, Forgetful Ness, was out of step. As he struggles to get back in sync, he wipes out into Lovely Ness. The lavender female Nessie with turquoise hair, purple bow and turquoise dorsal fin.
“Forgetful Ness,” she said sternly. “Don’t you remember the routine I taught you?”
“I… I’m sorry, Lovely Ness,” Forgetful Ness apologized. “I keep forgetting which way I’m supposed to dance.”
“To the left,” Lovely Ness instructed. “The left.”
“The left, right,” Forgetful Ness said, confused. “Yes, the right? To the right.”
Meanwhile, the Mane Six explore through a hall of painting. They yelped when they saw a big, scary Nessie right in front of them, only to realize it’s just a large, flat standee.
“I’m feeling kinda hungry by all this exploring,” Hitch mentioned. “Shoulda bought some snacks if we knew this was going to be an adventure.”
“I’m sure we’ll find something to eat,” Sunny said. “Let’s spit up and look around.”
“But stay put,” Zipp replied.
The ponies split up into two of their kind. Pipp and Zipp come to a doorway, where they watch from a balcony that the Nessies rehearse their performance.
“What do you think of this style for the Nessie zone parade number,” Lovely Ness asked. “Not too much, I hope.”
“You’re absolutely lovely, Lovely Ness,” Celestia comments. “You all look spectacular. I just know the show will make everyone in Happy Land so… Uh, so… So…”
“So lovely,” Kind Ness said.
“So bright,” Bright Ness added. The yellow female Nessie with orange hair and glasses.
“So silly,” Silly Ness added.
“So… So…” Forgetful Ness forgets what to say.
“So happy,” Happy Ness said.
“Exactly,” Celestia replied. “Everyone in Happy Land will be so happy.”
All the Nessies and Celestia share a laugh while Pipp and Zipp spies on them, smiling in amusement. Just then, a light green male Nessie with yellow hair, known as Brave Ness, comes in.
“Sorry to interrupt your rehearsal, everyone,” he said. “But I thought you should know that Devious and Sneaky were up to trouble and I found this.
Two other Nessies help Brave Ness bring in a familiar vehicle. It was the Mare Stream. Pipp and Zipp gasped in surprise to see their motor home with the Nessies.
“How did the Mare Stream get down here,” Pipp asked.
“Just listen,” Zipp said.
“Where’d you get this,” Happy Ness asked. “Devious Ness and Sneaky Ness tried to steal this?”
“I caught them sneaking around up in that pony town called Maretime Bay,” Brave Ness explains. “Saying they want a flying ship like the Royalty Spirit .”
“By stealing from my kind,” Celestia asked. “Shame on them.”
“Isn’t this from those ponies who live in what used to be Celestia’s lighthouse,” Bright Ness asked.
“That’s right,” Brave Ness replied. “I would’ve returned it, but they would get suspicious and not trust us.”
“Well, they might feel unsure,” Celestia said. “Like how you’re unsure of meeting them.”
“I’ll say,” Zipp mentioned.
“There’ll be a time they’ll want to see us,” Happy Ness said. “Besides those six ponies look like some we can relate to.”
“Me too,” Pipp said to herself.
“For the bad Nessies,” Silly Ness said. “They’re silly themselves thinking they could fit in something this small.”
Silly Ness demonstrates by trying to stick his head through the small door. Pipp and Zipp cringed in worry about their vehicle getting messed with.
Meanwhile, the two bad Nessies, Dark and Mean Ness, were sneaking around the art hall.
“She said ‘take the star’,” Mean Ness recalled. “‘And bring her to me.’ But how are we supposed to find the star?”
“Hey, Mean,” Dark Ness said. “Look there.”
As he pointed, they spotted a pony with a star on her flank. It’s Sunny.
“The star,” Mean Ness said. “We found it.”
As they were sneaky up from behind the little pony, she was talking to Hitch.
“Still think it’s hard to believe my dad’s story,” Sunny asked. “Even seeing a pony from ancient Equestria.”
“Yeah, but for creatures named for emotions,” Hitch added. “Sounds concerning. The ones we’ve seen are ok, but what if there are some names for the bad traits?”
“Would you mean some like dark or mean,” Dark Ness asked behind.
“You could say--”
Hitch gets a double take of who he’s talking to. He and Sunny gasped at the bad Nessies behind them as they grabbed for them.
Back at Pipp and Zipp, they were still watching the good Nessies until they heard screaming.
“HELP!!”
“Sunny,” Zipp exclaimed.
Izzy and Misty heard it too.
“Hitch,” Izzy exclaimed.
Sunny and Hitch were captured by the bad Nessies. Mean Ness held Sunny and Dark Ness had Hitch. As they taunted the little ponies, they noticed the rest of the team.
“Hey,” Zipp called. “I don’t know much about you, but we don’t kindly know how new worlds would treat visitors. Especially if they’re referred to how they’re described by their behavior.”
“And you better let our friends go,” Izzy said. “You big…”
“Or what,” Mean Ness asked.
Izzy feels a loss of words.
“Well, we don’t know what to say,” Misty mentioned. “But you get the picture.”
“Good come back, Misty,” Sunny comments.
“Well, you four think,” Dark Ness said. “We’re gonna slink.”
He activates his Loch-et, which makes the place dark with mist.
“Hey, what’s the idea,” Pipp yells.
“Sorry for leaving you girls in the dark,” Dark Ness said as he and Mean Ness made their getaway.
“Girls! Sparky,” Sunny called. “They’re taking us!”
“Get help,” Hitch called.

Chapter 3: Meeting the Nessies/Rescue Plan
As the room went dark by Dark Ness, the remaining four ponies and Sparky were blind in the black. Suddenly there was a white glow shining. It was another ‘ghost’ cutie mark like Celestia pretended to be before, but this one is a crescent moon.
“Follow me,” it said in a familiar voice.
Back in the dance room, the Nessies start to panic by the sudden blackout.
“Stay calm,” Celestia said. “Bright Ness will have the emergency power on in a moment.”
Just like that, the lights came back on by Bright Ness. She notices something coming as the second cutie mark ‘ghost’ comes into the room. It manifests into another ancient Alicorn, Princess Luna.
“It seems we got trouble going on,” she said as the four ponies came in behind her.
“Help us,” Pipp panicked.
“You gotta help up,” Misty said.
The Nessies were startled in surprise at the ponies in their world. Even Celestia was more surprised to see other ponies.
“Our friends have been taken,” Izzy said.
The Nessies don’t know what’s going on and start hopping all over the place. The ponies get worried about what they caused until Celestia flies down.
“STOP,” she yelled.
They all calmed down as they heard her.
“We don't know what’s going on yet,” Luna said. “There’s no reason to panic.”
“But this,” Celestia comments about the four ponies. “This is a surprise. Where did you little ponies come from?”
“From Maretime Bay,” Pipp replied.
“We live in your lighthouse,” Zipp explains. “Which is now rebuilt into the Crystal Brighthouse. We followed your ‘ghost’ cutie mark that led us to the secret entrance.”
“Never thought of that,” Celestia said to herself.
“How are they divided,” Happy Ness asked. “How do they make it look like two of them have no wings and the others no horns?”
“We don’t,” Pipp giggled. “We’re different types of ponies.”
“Perhaps you spend a lot of time with Alicorns,” Zipp said. “That you never got a closer look at the other three tribes. I’m Zipp Storm.”
“And I’m Pipp Petals,” she introduced. “We’re princesses of the pegasus city of Zephyr Heights.”
“We’re unicorns from Bridlewood,” Izzy introduced. “Izzy Moonbow.”
“And I’m Misty Brightdawn,” she introduced. “And our little dragon, Sparky.”
“And I’m Happy Ness,” the queen Nessie introduced. “Welcome, little ponies.”
“I believe this is yours,” Bright Ness asked about the Mare Stream.
Zipp takes out the key fob and locks their vehicle, making streaming sound effects.
“Now, what’s this commotion about your friends,” Celestia asked.
“Our Earth pony friends, Sunny Starscout and Hitch Trailblazer,” Zipp explains. “They were waiting while we checked things out.”
“And two monsters stole them,” Izzy added.
“Izzy,” Pipp said sternly.
“Monsters,” Happy Ness asked. “What did the beasts look like?”
“Well… Uh, no offense,” Pipp explains. “But what we mean to say is that they were Nessies like you.”
“But bad ones,” Misty added. “Like the ones you talked about stealing the Mare Stream.”
“True,” Celestia said. “But not all Nessies are monsters, girls.”
“That’s right,” Happy Ness agreed. “And to prove it, we’ll help you find your friends.”
The other good Nessies cheered in agreement.
Later, Happy Ness and the Alicorn sisters brought the Mane Four to meet Elliot Ness. He’s a light brown/yellow male detective Nessie in a hat. His assistant is known as Gorgeous Ness, an orange female Nessie with white hair and blue dorsal fin, blowing bubble gum.
“Don’t worry, girls,” Gorgeous Ness said. “If any Nessie can get to the bottom of this, it’s Elliot.”
“And that’s the truth, Gorgeous Ness,” He replied. “Matter of fact, I got the case solved already. Since, grabbing your friends is the meanness thing I ever heard of you can bet Mean Ness is involved and the bit you told me about the theater suddenly going dark. Point a finger at Dark Ness.”
“Not to mention the devious and sneaky Nessies you talked about,” Zipp added. “Who tried stealing our ride.”
“But why would they do such a thing, Elliot,” Happy Ness asked.
“Why, indeed,” Elliot Ness replied. “Do your friends have any enemies? Have they ever been in trouble?”
“Are you kidding,” Izzy asked. “Hitch’s deputy this one time went mad with power when he was left in charge. Instead of keeping the town calm, he made himself emperor and tried to declare war on our tribes.”
“A rogue sheriff deputy, huh,” Elliot Ness asked. “Well, we can roll him out. Looks like no one’s got a reason for taking your friends.”
“Come to think of it,” Misty said. “I thought I also heard their voices just before they took them. Saying something about ‘taking the star.’ As in ‘the star of your show?’”
“And sounds to me,” Zipp added. “They thought they meant a Nessie with a star on them.”
“Or a pony with a star cutie mark,” Pipp added. “Like Sunny’s.”
“There’s only one Nessie in Happy Land who would do something like this,” Happy Ness said.
“Right,” Elliot Ness comments. “You’re right, Hap. Who’s that?”
“Pompous Ness,” Happy Ness replied. “Of course.”
“Pompous Ness, of course,” Elliot Ness repeated.
“She’s the ruler of the bad Nessies of Gloom Lagoon,” Celestia explains to the ponies.
“And if she has your friends,” Luna added. “Then we’ve no time to lose.”
Later, the Nessie were rallied on a dock, where the Royalty Spirit was docked. The Alicorn sisters addressed them as this was a rescue mission.”
“Going to Pompous Ness’s castle in Gloom Lagoon,” Celestia said. “Isn’t going to be easy.”
“Any Nessie who wants to go on this mission,” Luna added. “Take one step forward.”
Just like that, they all stepped forward.
“Thank you, body Nessies,” Celestia said. “But a small hand-picked group with all the necessary qualities stand the best chance. Happy, forgetful, reckless, loud and brave. We’re gonna need you all aboard.”
“And now we set sail for Gloom Lagoon,” Luna finished as they saluted.
"YES," Loud Ness shouted.

MLP G5: Adventures in Happy Land “There’s A World of Nessies”
Back in Gloom Lagoon, Pompous Ness can be heard from outside as she was screaming in rage.
“WWWWWWWWWWHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!?????”
Inside the castle, she was raging at Mean Ness and Dark Ness as they brought Sunny and Hitch before her.
“But… But, your crownless ness,” Dark Ness replied.
“Y-your gracelessness,” Mean Ness said.
“Your future highness,” Dark Ness responds. “You told us to bring you the star of the big show.”
“And this pony has a star on her,” Mean Ness explains holding Sunny. “So we thought, well she must be the star.”
“I guess big in size,” Sunny comments. “Doesn’t mean big in brains.”
“Especially if they’re not more specific,” Hitch added.
“Listen you, just because--”
Before Pompous Ness could talk, Sunny bites Mean Ness’s finger to escape her grasp. Hitch made his escape move by kicking Dark Ness in the stomach.
“Hey, zip it, dragon breath,” Sunny confronts Pompous Ness. “We didn’t have to be here in the first place, you know.”
“How dare you speak to the future ruler of Nessie City like that,” Dark Ness asked, hopping in pain.
“You don’t scare us, Dark Ness,” Hitch said with courage. “Even I stopped sleeping with a night light when I turned two.”
“The question is,” Pompous Ness said. “Now that we have the great misfortune of your company, what am I going to do with you?”
“How about getting us a midnight snack,” Hitch asked. Sunny gives him a disapproved frown. “What, I haven’t eaten anything since the slumber party.”
“A snack,” Pompous Ness asked. “A snack!? I’ll make you two a snack into a snack if I hear another sound out of you!”
Entering Gloom Lagoon, the good Nessie were swimming through the water as the ponies flew on the Royalty Spirit .
“Hang on, girls,” Celestia said. “I’m taking the Royalty Spirit down to sea level.”
She lands the ship in the water and the Nessies gather around.
“All tails on deck,” Luna said. “Brave, you and Loud storm the castle doors while Reckless launches a sneak attack from the side.”
“Happy. Forgetful,” Celestia instructed. “Me and the girls are coming from the rear and rescue their friends, Sunny and Hitch.”
“Uh, princess,” Zipp asked. “From the look of Reckless Ness.” She’s referring to the purplish-gray male Nessie with blonde hair and wearing bandages. “Well, I’m not sure about him making a sneak attack.”
“Precisely, Zipp,” Celestia replied.
Suddenly, they heard a loud scream as they spotted the castle.
“It’s Sunny,” Pipp exclaims.
“Reckless,” Celestia instructed. “Full speed ahead.” She tosses life rings on tow ropes to Happy Ness and Forgetful Ness. “Tie to me, Nessies, and tow us to the castle.”
Happy Ness and Forgetful Ness put the rings around their necks and tows to ship.
“What are they doing to our friends,” Misty asked with worry.
“Maybe, it’s what our friends are doing to them,” Izzy said. “I found a new app for our phones for emergencies.”
“Like what,” Zipp asked.
Inside the castle, the screaming noise wasn’t from Sunny. It turns out she was using her phone to make a high-pitch sound. The app Izzy mentioned is titled Hypno Breaker. She’s using it to irritate the bad Nessies, who were covering their ears. Even Pompous Ness had an ice pack on her head.
“Enough,” she said. “I beg you stop that shrieking!”
“Just so you know,” Sunny explains. “This was supposed to be used if any creature tried to hypnotize us. But I guess this works too.”
“So, I suppose you should do something for us,” Hitch added. “Like us something to eat.”
“Dark, Mean,” Pompous Ness ordered. “Get them food. Lots and lots of food. Tons of grub. Anything to plug up those gaping holes below their noses.”
As the two servants Nessies were leaving on orders, there was a loud bang that was heard.
“What was that,” Mean Ness asked.
The three Nessies looked out the eye-shaped window as the banging was coming outside. It was Brave Ness and Loud Ness pounding on the castle doors. They turn their attention to the bad Nessies from above.
“YOO-HOO,” Loud Ness shouted. “ANYBODY HOME!!??”
His loud shouting startled the bad Nessies that they moved away from the window. Suddenly, Reckless Ness came in smashing through the wall.
“Sneak attack,” he said.
“We’re surrounded,” Mean Ness stated.
“Stay here, guard them,” Pompous Ness instructed and turned to Dark Ness. “Come with me. Grab my castle, will they?”
Pompous Ness and Dark Ness exit the castle as Brave Ness and Loud Ness charges at them.
“Prepare to be mashed,” she said. “By the queen of splash! Enguard!”
As the Nessies charge into battle, Happy and Forgetful Ness tows the Royalty Spirit to the castle.
“Now, Nessies,” Celestia calls.
“Prepare to storm the castle,” Luna added.
“Castle,” Forgetful Ness asked. “What castle?”
“That castle,” Zipp replied.
The four Nessies were having a splash fight using their tails. Until Brave Ness creates a big splash, sending Pompous and Dark Ness underwater. When they came back up, they were feeling defeated.
“All Right! Okay, Brave Ness,” Dark Ness surrendered. “You win.”
As the ship comes to the castle wall, the Alicorns and pegasi fly up to the window while the unicorns levitate themselves with their magic.
“Here we go, girls,” Celestia said.
Once they entered the room, they confronted Mean Ness.
“Let them go, Mean Ness,” Luna demanded.
“Not a change,” Mean Ness replied.
“Hey, guys,” Sunny called. She and Hitch had some snacks as requested. “Thanks to that phone app Izzy showed us, we made them do something for us.”
“And I’m done here,” Hitch stated.
He rushes back over to the group and reunites with Sparky. Mean Ness stands in the way of Sunny, preventing her from getting away.
“You aren't going anywhere, missy,” Mean Ness said.
Celestia leans out the window and calls, “Now, Happy Ness. Ness Bless now!”
Happy Ness holds up her Loch-et to activate its magic as she said, “Time to send a part of me through the air and through the sea.” Her Loch-et sends up a beam of magic. “I’ll give Mean some happiness by sending a magical Ness Bless.”
The beam hits Mean Ness and engulfs her in Happy’s magic.
“What a strange feeling,” she said as her personality changed. “I’ve never felt like this before. What is this wonderful feeling? Could I… Could I be… Happy?”
“Oh, I get it,” Zipp theorized. “Each Nessie can make others feel the same as one who’s casting their magic.”
“Indeed,” Luna replied. “From mean to happy.”
“Yes,” Mean Ness said. “I am happy! I’m so very, very happy! I wish I was happy all the time!”
“Well do something to make us happy,” Hitch confronts. “And let Sunny go.”
“Of course, you delightful pony,” Mean Ness replied and collected Sunny.
“How long does this last,” Pipp asked.
“Just enough time for us to get away,” Celestia replied.
Mean Ness picks up Sunny and cuddles her. “Now you run along with your friends, dearie,” she said. “So nice to have met you.” Sunny was feeling uncomfortable as Mean Ness was nuzzling her until she let her go. “Drop by for a snack anytime.”
“Rescued by Nessies and ghosts,” Sunny comments.
“What ghosts,” Izzy asked. “They’re not ghosts.”
“But…” Hitch tries to say something.
“Are you,” Zipp asks. “Or are you two not ghosts?”
“No, dearies,” Celestia explains. “We may be older since ancient Equestria, but we’re certainly not ghosts.”
“Indeed,” Luna added and showed them their Loch-ets. “These Loch-ets hold the essence of who we are inside and keep us forever young.”
“And they make anypony who wears them invisible to the world above,” Celesta said as the two disappeared and reappeared behind them. “Haunting our old lighthouse and pretending to be ghosts is great fun.”
“Plus, we do love pulling a good surprise,” Luna comments. “Especially how these can make us flying seaponies who can breathe on air like them.”
“There’s always a good explanation for everything,” Zipp replied.
“Speaking of things needing an explanation,” Hitch said. “Who are all these Nessies?”
“Yeah,” Sunny added. “I know we heard of the one story of you and them. But the whole world thinks there’s some terrible monster under the bay.”
“Then we came down here and found all of you instead,” Misty added.
Happy Ness came up and said, “Well I can’t think of a better way for you to meet our family than with front row seats for the biggest show ever.”
“And she does mean big,” Celestia announced.

Chapter 5: The Biggest Show Ever/Epilogue
Back in Happy Land, the theater was beginning to rise out of the water and float high in mid-air. Lights were flashing and Nessies were gathering. Inside, the Mane Six and Sparky were sitting to watch the show as Celestia and Luna floated on stage.

Happy Ness picks up Sunny, Hitch and Sparky her tail and takes them for a ride on her back. Silly Ness takes Izzy and Misty as Zipp and Pipp ride on Lovely Ness. They flew the ponies outside the theater and enjoyed themselves.

Nessies Well, we’ll tell you, it’s real easy When you make friends with the rest Right in the middle of it all You’ll find happiness
On the highest point of the hidden island, known as Smile Isle, the Mane Six set up a campsite with the Mare Stream. They each get a Nessie friend to bond with. Izzy plays with Silly Ness, Misty with Kind Ness, Zipp with Brave Ness, Pipp with Lovely Ness, Hitch with Cool Ness even Sparky made friends with a young light purple female Nessie with blue hair, Cute Ness. Sunny sits by the edge of a cliff with Happy Ness and the Alicorn sisters overlooking Maretime Bay.
“You must be so proud of yourself,” Celestia said. “Having good friends. You definitely remind me of my faithful student who took our place as ruler of Equestria.”
“Especially,” Luna added. “That you defeated Opaline.”
“Thank you,” Sunny replied. “And I am so honored to meet another legend like you two. First Discord, then Spike and now the Princesses of Day and Night.”
“We’ve been watching over you from the very beginning,” Celestia explains. “When all magic disappeared as ponies were divided, I’ve always hoped that there’d still be ponies who believed in our legends and rediscovered the magic of friendship.”
“And protected the Unity Crystals,” Luna added. “Which stores all the magic.”
“Was it hard for you when you didn’t have your magic,” Sunny asked.
“It was no problem,” Celestia replies. “Thanks to the Nessies for sharing with us some of their magic.”
“Which reminds me,” Happy Ness stated. She nods to Bright Ness, who gives her a bag of Loch-ets of the Mane Six’s cutie marks. “We thought we would like to share it with you too.”
“Really,” Sunny asked.
“With these Loch-et,” Bright Ness explains. “Like Celestia and Luna’s, they can allow your seapony forms to make you like us.”
The ponies put on their Loch-ets and they change into their seapony forms. But their magic allows them to fly and breathe on air like Celestia and Luna are.
“This is amazing,” Sunny comments.
“And also,” Bright Ness said and gave them special glasses. “We call these the We-See Specs. Allows you to see what your eyes can’t.”
“You mean see you if you’re invisible,” Zipp asked. “Nice.”
“You all are more welcome to visit us in Happy Land whenever you decide,” Happy Ness said.
“And please do,” Cute Ness replied and cuddling Sparky. “I like it when I make a new friend.”
“Of course we will, silly” Izzy said.
“Hey, I’m the silly one,” Silly Ness teased.
Everyone shares a laugh.
“After all these years,” Celestia comforts Sunny. “You six ponies have kept the legacy of Twilight Sparkle and the Guardians of Harmony alive.”
“And you earned the Element of Harmony within each of you,” Luna added. “Some original and some new.”
“And how.” Zipp declared with a determined smile. “I'm a princess of a different kind. Always trying to figure out why. When my cutie mark comes to life, I blast bravely across the sky!” She declared as her cutie mark glowed before she flew around.
Izzy’s horn started glowing as she tossed some glitter in the air and did a twirl. “I sparkle like the stars, 'cause I'm always super glittery.” She said as she looked at her cutie mark, which started to glow as well. “When my cutie mark comes to life, watch this brilliant creativity!” She cheered.
Pipp stood there with her fin wings spread. “I'm a stylish pop star princess.” She started as she moved her wings around and some music notes flew off her as she held her microphone before she flew around. “My voice makes me strong. When my cutie mark comes to life, confidence is my song!” She added as her cutie mark glowed.
Misty then spoke next with a smile. “I might seem a little quiet, but my strength is very real.” She said determinedly as she stomped her hoof down and she started glowing, as well as her cutie mark. “When my cutie mark comes to life, my heart helps me feel!”
“I'm the pony of the law.” Hitch said while giving a proud look as Sparky jumped onto his back with a smile. “Coolest dragon dad you know. My cutie mark comes to life, and my kindness overflows! ” He exclaimed as his cutie Mark started glowing and used his Earth Pony Magic to grow some plants.
“I am all three pony kinds wrapped up into one.” Sunny started on behalf of her and Sunset as she brought out her Alicorn form with her wings spread. “My cutie mark comes to life with hope bright at the sun!” She said as her cutie mark glowed next.
The Alicorn sisters and the Nessie awed in amazement of the ponies glowing cutie marks. They formed together before releasing a firework magic in the air. It created projections of their cutie marks with their Nessie friends.
“How beautiful,” Happy Ness commented.
Celestia and Luna huddle for a group hug with the Mane Six and the Nessies join in. Forming a new friendship with ponies of Equestria and Nessies of Happy Land.
