Together, they must build something that will change Equestria forever.

But as they battle the elements and their own demons, they begin to uncover darker aspects of Luna’s ambitious plan. How far will they go to save Equestria? And what price are they willing to pay for success?

This story reveals the true history of the Crystal Empire’s creation, following (mostly) smart ponies doing (mostly) smart things to achieve the impossible in a deadly environment.
