The guards were getting ready and trying to overpower him, but they could not hold back Lightning Bolt. After a lazy yawn, he sent them flying with a use of his dark magic in the most casual manner. There was nothing violent in the movements of his body; every gesture was flowing serenely and cool. None were harmed permanently, only subdued completely with but a flick of his dark magic to splay them upon the ground in defeat. He was playing with them, undeniably. Where they were frenzied, he was loose and relaxed. "Oh? We were fighting?" Lightning teased the others.

From the far side of this umbrum show, Shining Armor watched in utter disbelief. This Umbrum was decidedly different than Sombra. Where Sombra had been a cunning and merciless foe, Lightning Bolt seemed to exude an icy, cold confidence. He made short work of the guards, showing this new menace to be not only different but infinitely more dangerous than the villain who had come before. Shining Armor's heart dropped as he realized the gravity of the situation: this was not a battle they could afford to lose. They had to win. "Enough of this, Lightning," Shining says. A thrown sword came at Shining Armor and he dodged as it buried itself in the wall. "Next time, it won't miss," Lightning Bolt exclaimed with a cold and confident smirk. His eyes were glinting with dark merriment as he conjured churning tendrils of dark magic from his horn. The tendrils wrapped around the guards, fallen unconscious in the struggle. Where the magic touched them, a sinister transformation began to take place.

The guards' bodies contorted and twisted, their armors darkening, their eyes aglow with malevolent red light. In an instant, they no longer resembled the stalwart guardians of the Crystal Empire. Now, they were Shadow Guards, their forms twisted and corrupted by the dark magic that animated them; their movements now ominously fluid and coordinated. The newly transformed Shadow Guards climbed to their hooves and fixed their gaze with Shining Armor and Princess Cadance, their soulless intent quite unyielding. They moved forward in a slow, milling walk as the echoes of their hooves resounded with a chilling intensity.

Shining Armor and Cadance exchanged a desperate glance; no time to react-they were forced to resort to instinct. The Shadow Guards closed in, circling around them. Their eyes flashed with that dark magic, driving them to corruption. With cruel satisfaction, the smirk on Lightning Bolt's face stretched as he viewed his handiwork in progress. In a commanding gesture, he swept his hand toward the Shadow Guards to direct their action. "Get them," he ordered. His voice was booming with dark authority. The Shadow Guards corrupted to move precisely, overpowering Shining Armor and Cadence.

This was no long struggle, but highly violent. The unity of the Shadow Guards proved to be just too much for them to bear. Despite the valiant defense, they could not stand against such a combined might. The dark magic quickly and definitely subdued Shining Armor and Cadance, all resistance absolutely defeated by the brutal assault. Then, with the royals now captured, it was up to Lightning Bolt to approach them with a gleam of triumph in his eyes, ready to claim his victory. "You see," he said with icy conviction, "this is what happens when you dare stand against me. Your Empire will fall; there is nothing to stop it."

While he was savoring his victory, the Crystal Empire was plunged into darkness. The defenders became prisoners of the very magic they had sworn to protect. A triumph with such a bar had never been raised so high, and it now leaves the fate of the Crystal Empire more uncertain than ever.

Lightning Bolt advanced on the Crystal Heart, that glow of brilliancy now dimming under his malevolent influence. Cadance struggled against her bonds, shouting, "Don't break the Crystal Heart! PLEASE!"

At that, Lightning Bolt stopped and a cold smirk crossed his lips. "Oh, Princess," he returned, his voice without the slightest hint of stress, while still underscoring a clear assertion. "I am not going to break it." He touched the heart, his dark magic swirling around it with a commanding presence. "I'm going to get my blood on this. Once I do, there's nothing you can do to save the Empire."

He laid a hoof on the heart and tugged at a pin on his armor, which just so happened to be a blade, cutting himself. Blood streamed out of the wound and flowed into the heart, which started to glow an ominous red light that differed from the crystals of the empire. Cadance's eyes went wide in despair. "Stop this, please, I beg you! You don't understand what you're doing!" Lightning Bolt's smile grew wider, his satisfaction evident. "Oh, but I do. The Empire will fall, and there's nothing you can do to stop me."

Lightning Bolt fixed his gaze on Shining Armor and then lay there, bound, still struggling. In this glowing of his horn, a swirling portal of dark magic appeared as Lightning Bolt summoned it. It grew, filling up with an even more ominous pitch black, which sent eerie shadows dancing around the room.

"Now, to deal with you," said Lightning Bolt in a cold emotionless voice, his gaze locking onto Shining Armor. His magic reached out and seized Shining Armor, lifting him off the ground and tugging him toward the portal.

"No!" Cadance exclaimed in alarm. "Shiny!"

Shining Armor's eyes were wide with terror as he was dragged into the swirl of nothingness. He struggled against it, but the dark magic ensnared him with ease. He looked at Cadence one more time and was flung into the void. The portal closed behind him with a snap, and everything was silent once more.

Lightning Bolt turned fully towards Cadance, his smile feral and satisfied. "Now, my dear Princess, prepare for something big," he sneered, his grin arrogant as he scanned her. Cadance swallowed hard, not knowing what was in store.

With Shining Armor no longer in the way, the dark magic of Lightning Bolt amped up, focusing his power on the Crystal Heart and the captured Princess. The room slowly began to grow cold from the surge of his power as Cadance watched in horror as Lightning Bolt revealed his malevolent plan. "Don't you worry, princess. It'll all be over soon." Lightning said as his horn aglow with dark magic blinding her.

As soon as the effects had cleared up, Cadance looked around, gathering her thoughts that she was in her bedroom, though, in truth, she was not. Cadance is still unaware, but her plot is getting very wet as she smells a very sweet scent. Her former bedroom was changed into some twisted, dark place serving no purpose other than a breeding ground. Also, it shows his magic with spell craft in making the illusion of this room from what used to be her bedroom. "Oh Celestia no, please tell me he's not goin-AHNG EEK!" Cadance suddenly squirted and had the most powerful orgasm she had ever had, racking sensations throughout her body when nohooves had touched her. She knew she needed to be strong, but the smell was really making it hard to keep a clear head.

Suddenly, without any kind of warning, Lightning appeared in the room's mirror, watching Cadance struggle. Her ass was obviously expanding, her tits were swelling. "Are you enjoying yourself?" he asked brusquely. Cadance can sense his presence, even though he is out of sight. "You're a pervert!" Cadance hollered bravely. And then, from out of the mirror steps in Lightning, who says, "Thank you. You will crave nothing more than me. It's only a matter of time. Mark my words," his voice distorts and booms ominously.
